The 213-page Supreme Court ruling in Dobbs -v- Jackson (Mississippi case) is FOUND HERE. The ruling in the Dobbs case was 6-3 in favor of allowing Mississippi to place limits on abortion after 15 weeks. However, in combination with the Dobbs decision the court has overturned (by a 5-4 vote) the 1972 Roe -vs- Wade decision that created a constitutional right to abortion.

Chief Justice John Roberts joined with the majority on the Dobbs decision (Mississippi) but said he did not agree with the decision to overturn Roe. The vote to overturn Roe was 5-4. Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett joined Justice Samuel Alito’s opinion.
Due to an unprecedented leak in the Alito draft opinion in May, the Roe decision was anticipated. The leaked draft opinion showed that a majority of the justices were privately poised to remove a constitutional right for abortion; today that step was taken.
SCOTUS BLOG – […] Alito began his 79-page opinion by observing that abortion “presents a profound moral issue on which Americans hold sharply conflicting views.” But the Constitution does not refer to abortion at all, Alito stressed, and nothing in the Constitution implicitly protects the right to an abortion.
Although the Supreme Court’s decisions in Roe and Casey established such a right, Alito continued, those decisions should nonetheless be overruled despite the principle of stare decisis – the idea that courts should not overturn their prior precedent unless there is a compelling reason to do so. Noting that some of the Supreme Court’s other landmark decisions, such as Brown v. Board of Education, rejecting the “separate but equal” doctrine, had overruled precedent, Alito emphasized that Roe was “egregiously wrong and deeply damaging” and – along with Casey – should not be allowed to stand. Instead, Alito concluded, the issue of abortion should “return … to the people’s representatives.” (read more)
Abortion rights activists and politicians have been preparing for this moment for two months. Immediately after the decision to overturn Roe was released all of the far-left activists, media stenographers and politicians began reacting.
This supreme court ruling will lead several news cycles and opposing it will form the cornerstone of the 2022 Democrat mid-term election campaign in every state. The media have been polling this abortion issue since the draft leak in early May.
CNN did an extensive poll on the abortion issue of young people voting – [pdf here]
CTH pulled all the poll data into one easier to read infographic of the responses by age (below). The 18-to-34-year group are not single-issue voters.
31% of that age group say a candidate MUST agree with them on abortion, while 69% say abortion is only one of several factors or not much of a factor.
The 18–34-year group is also reasonably pragmatic. If Roe v Wade overturned, 21% say abortions likely to be banned where they live; 31% say likely harder but not banned; 26% say it wouldn’t make a difference; and 22% not sure what would happen where they live.

God bless the greatest president in US history,..
Donald J Trump!!!!
The kids know.
So, does this also mean that all those women who gave birth before 1972 broke the law and somehow ROE v. WADE magically provided them rights that are now being stripped away?
No, it actually meant that all the women who attempted terminations, prior to 1972, in unsafe and dangerous ways, had an option to have a safe procedure during the first trimester. That was the original intent.
I am positive their unborn did not think it safe and not dangerous as they got tore limb from limb and/or vacuumed out of their mother. So all those women flipping their legs in the air with an unreliable partner could now murder their unborn with full approval of the state. That sacrament to Satan was rebuked and withdraws the consent of the federal government today. Maybe the trollops oughta keep their legs closed till they find that reliable partner now.
They have manipulated your language such that monstrous acts are couched in sanitized globospeak.
The original idea of abortion, in 1972, was first trimester, before the ‘unborn’ could ‘think’ of anything.
And I truly find this amusing that this becomes solely a woman’s issue. If you are female, perhaps there is an excuse. If you are male, I bet your Dad was happy when you lost your virginity. Geesh.
Good try at Creating division where none exist.
Creating division about fact? Then, sorry if the facts don’t align with your emotional response.
You imagine a reality that never existed, Dad being proud of his son busting his nut.
Just stop with your imaginary, feminazi bullshit.
My dad certainly wasn’t proud, he was concerned for many reasons.
We had a saying that applied ONLY to biological males.
Young, dumb and full of …..baby gravy.
I guarantee that the conversation you had with your Dad, and most probably as a teenager, was basically that you need to wear a condom. I will pretty much guarantee that your Dad did not tell you to save your virginity until you were married. And if he did, and if you followed that advice, you are in a tiny minority.
The original idea was to make up a law whole cloth, out of thin air and see how much pushback was had.
Because the majority of victims were blacks, people didn’t pay much mind.
You weren’t there in 73 and are just reciting mindless talking points fed to you by the satanic left.
Actually I was in university then. If someone wasn’t there, it is quite obvious that it was you. Now grow up and move on.
you will recall the Dimm/commies first ask on abortion was “safe, available, and rare”…..they are failing on two of their own criteria….when many women openly boast of using abortion as a method of birth control you know life has been seriously cheapened
I am thinking that black women are having multiple abortions not because of birth control but because theya are being paid to do it so the fetus cells can be used for various reasons.
Your response is pure emotion and not based on any viable information with regard to terminations at 13 weeks or earlier. And once you decide that ‘Satan’ is part of any discussion, I no longer have the incentive to entertain this.
But let’s not pretend that even back in the 1970’s and earlier women didn’t have any ability to prevent unwanted pregnancies. And let’s not pretend that the “safe procedure” is basically the brutal destruction of a live human.
Women have always attempted to terminate unwanted pregnancies. Prior to 1972, wealthy girls flew to places like Japan to have them done. Girls who couldn’t afford it, opted for other means. And perhaps the argument should be more toward men protecting against unwanted pregnancies….something that, to this day, they can be prone not to do. Far easier for male protection than female.
Back then or now, any woman who did not want to become pregnant should have done what she could to avoid getting pregnant. All of the modern forms of birth control are not necessary. There is always abstinance, even for just part of each month, or engaging in other types of sex.
With the exception of rape, unwanted pregnancy has always been an issue of lack of care on the woman’s part. If unwanted pregnancy led to certain death (of the woman) you can be sure that women would exercise care to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
You may not have been aware of the societal changes that were happening in the 1960’s with young people.
And it’s total BS that pregnancy is the ‘lack of care’ on a woman’s part. Last time I looked, two people were involved in having sex.
Wow, that’s kind of strange.
Just a minute ago I recall hearing that if you weren’t female, your opinion doesn’t matter.
Not my say, not my problem.
Really? Since when does only one person in any kind of ‘relationship’ shoulder all the responsibility?
Oh, ok that was then, this is now.
I get it feminasti.
Aside from the fact that spewing personal attacks makes your response totally irrelevant, I believe that Roe happened in 1972. So, that was ‘then’.
Incest is usually unavoidable…when daddy takes daughter what is daughter to do?
Write about Joe Biden in her diary?
I think the girls, ought to once again learn , dignity,, self respect and protecting thier honor.
The hard part is that fact that thier mothers, etc never knew what that was.
And what about the boys? Are you saying that in teh 21st century, the double standard should still exist? Seriously?
1. The boys are responsible for their honor and integrity, they are not responsible for your girl’s.
2. There never was a double standard here.
3. It never was right that if the woman killed the child, that was fine.
If she chose not to, then he was on the hook.
Where was his choice, feminist?
Amusingly, I believe that the honorable boys are part of, and certainly 50 years ago, the aggressors of most sexual contact. There most certainly was a double standard, in that it was socially acceptable for boys to be sexually active. The point of having an abortion during the first trimester was that, at that time, there was no ‘child’ involved. And the realism of the boy being ‘on the hook’ if she chose to have the child, is sheer fantasy. I would like to suggest that perhaps you study what it was actually like in the 1950’s into the 1960’s, as it appears that you may not have been familiar with it first hand.
Let’s also not pretend that abortion is a RIGHT.
Constitutional rights apply to ALL citizens, not just half of them.
Since men cannot enjoy the right, it doesn’t exist.
Are you familiar with Dr. Bernard Nathason? If not, look him up. He was a founder of NARAL, aborted his own child (maybe more than one; I can’t remember for sure) as well as countless other children. He was in the movie “The Silent Scream” which featured an ultrasound documenting the actual abortion of a baby and showed the child fighting for life. When he made that movie, he had repented of his complicity in getting abortion legalized. He also “spilled the beans” on how it all started, including how they literally made up the numbers of women who were harmed by illegal abortion (the baby is of course always harmed) so as to try to get abortion legal. His is a very telling story of the early days and of the incredible deceit involved.
Then there’s Norma McCorvey — “Roe”— who did not have an abortion and was used by radical feminists to advance their cause by taking advantage of a troubled woman in an less-than-optimal situation.
Let’s be somewhat realistic in this discussion? Once again, while this issue has crept toward infanticide since 1972, when the ruling came down back then, no one thought about doing this months after you knew you were pregnant. Women knew after TWO weeks that they didn’t get their period, got tested and dealt with it within weeks. There were no ‘children fighting for life’ or any other such BS at the time.
Apparently your idea of when life is conceived and ours is completely different. God said I knew you when you were in the womb. Not after so many weeks there……
if you continue to want to refer to Roe V Wade and include a year at least get that material fact CORRECT….the decision was handed down in 1973 NOT 1972
“There were no ‘children fighting for life’ or any other such BS at the time.”
You’re right, those packs of cells must have Giraffe Calves, not Children.
It’s a 12 week old fetus being brutally tortured in The Silent Scream.
According to Guttmacher, in 2016 34.6% of abortions were performed when the fetus was 9 or more weeks old.
Maybe I should have added… “/s” at the end
Suck it up. Being a state legislator is not supposed to be an easy job. In fact, it’s supposed to be the job where most of the laws in these “United States“ are supposed to be made.
Now, the US Supreme Court has finally thrown the bone back to where it always belonged. This Court is no longer consent to write your laws for you. All fifty of you are now going to have to do it … and to then face the political consequences.
In the constitution don’t we have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
I think the Supreme Court needs to make a rule, otherwise some state may allow a breach baby with its feet dangling out to be aborted 🙁
They already allow that in about 20 of them.
Let’s see what happens now without the federal protection. The state legislators now need “come out”.
Make States Count Again.
the potential consequences of this scotus ruling is profound. Today I will celebrate this particular ruling, but I am ALSO aware of the very real possibility that states’ can and should be lining up to re-establish state soverign laws and not allow national political actors to get involved in state citizen rights and laws.
this ruling today is profound. Read the entire 213 page ruling and pay attention to both alito and thomas opinions.
It is quite remarkable.
there are two basic elements that draw my attention:
stare desisis.
and state soverignty.
today feels like the very first time in my entire life where I truly FEEL AND BELIEVE there is some hope that my state of Louisiana will rebuke the big footing of scotus AND CONGRESS and restore my state back to it’s natural and traditional and constitutionally sound groundings.
It won’t be a walk in the park, but we have a blue ribbon example of how it can be won.
Today is good.
Praise THE LORD.
God Bless America
I get the feeling that the ‘freedom five’ went scorched earth because of the Election fraud that they weren’t able to deal with.
Could be the peace offering…I do give them credit for not caving to the crazies.
They want us to still believe there are three independent branches of government.
I only wish Rush Limbaugh had lived to see this day. Somewhere in Heaven he is smiling.
I can’t speak for the man, but I can say he was a master of seeing the space between the lines. It requires little humility from someone like me who is unquestionably his lessor in that act to suggest, what would he have noticed that we’re missing. Because, with certainty, as we’ve come to know this enemy that they cannot be both self serving and serving us. So either a paradox exists or we are missing a piece.
This SCOTUS chose not to serve the will of the people when they ignored the election fraud. Either that decision was correct, bringing with it a tsunami of realizations for those of us who believe the evidence we were shown or they’re doing RvW now for some sinister purpose.
But what could that be? I have every confidence that Rush could have seen through it, but as he was a man, so are we and now we must be who he no longer can.
How does this enemy work? Coercion, deceit, obfuscation, confusion, distraction, violence, shame and torture are all tools in their bag. Which one are they using this time? Each carries with it different potentialities that we need to be made aware of to defend against. If the sword of Truth were enough, God would never have granted us His full armor. What move must we counter now?
Because the easy answer is that they are rolling over and giving in to our advances, but the one tool they’ve used with most success is feign to gain the upper hand.
I’m just supposing now, but if they’re feigning to let us in close, are they leading the dance? Are they giving us a moment of reprieve to bring about an over confidence? With all they’ve done, they cannot defeat us unless we first defeat ourselves. So with humility I appeal to the supreme Creator, God above us, what would you have us do in the face of this unknown evil that we may not only survive but show the world yet again that the only Truth in this life is that You are King?
Innocent lives being spared is a win, I take nothing from that and give praise for it. But, no win comes without a fight and they just seem like they’re handing us this one with too much ease. The road is narrow and hard, this feels like a wide easy space they just created for us…
They are going to pack the court. They are going to codify abortion rights and gut 2A
No they aren’t. Because come November “they” will be swept out of office.
Biden is quietly working on a stealth takeover of elections this fall. I think a WHOLE lot of people are going to be surprised.
They STOLE an election and got away with it. Why wouldn’t they steal another one–and then dare us to object?
That IS why the J6 protesters have been so brutally treated–as a warning to anyone who objects to the criminality of this regime.
They better hurry. In January they are out of business except in the weirdest of the weird enclaves in the USA.
they cannot “codify abortion” after this decision…..SCOTUS has avowed the right of the unborn to have LIFE as well, giving the decision on termination to the states….essentially they have given each state the option of murder with government consent but have removed the government from the equation
They are going to try.
“…. for those of us who believe the evidence we were shown or they’re doing RvW now for some sinister purpose.
But what could that be? “
Who will benefit?
The democrats will now get many votes in the midterm election that would have gone to the GOP.
If the GOP governors and the GOP itself makes clear that the government that governs best is the one closed to its citizesn and not to some individual far away panel of judges ruling on individual cases, then no, but you are probably like me: you have no belief that the GOP is good at mass communications.
I will say this: for the Nov elections, I’d rather all pro-life groups stick not to “we want to outlaw abortions” to “We can now have civil discussions with each other and our legisators about such issues and we can now have educational discussions about how to avoid a woman ever having to face such a difficult situation.”
If that ain’t the Truth.!! I’ll bet Rush is smiling!
Rush Limbaugh was a cheerleader for the Iraq war and the Bush regime. I called him Puss Lymphjaw. IMHO he was a part of the Karl Rove steering committee. He had Ron Paul in 2008 and 2012 if he was the constitutionalist he claimed and he was a part of the forces denying Ron Paul a balanced voice in the publicity of the campaigns and backed McCain and Romney. Anyone backed that crusty, corrupt, murderously misanthropic monstrosity of Hell’s creation gets an instant big black mark that will stick next to them the rest of my born days. Romney ain’t nothing but generational corruption in a fancy suit and haircut, nothing of substance or integrity. Yet another half wit monster. The consequences of steering the conservatives towards those two as candidates are still reverberating as this allowed the Obamanation a petrie dish to grow their anti-civilizational virii in and incubate the communist vermin infesting the republic today.
RUSH LIMBAUGH (HOST): OK, so what does this mean? Lindsey Graham was on Hannity last night. Lindsey Graham says Republicans have the votes to confirm whoever it is that Trump nominates. It looks like it’s Amy Coney Barrett, or the judge from south Florida, [Barbara] Lagoa, both of whom would be superb. But what does that mean?
…
Folks, do you know how big this is? This is huge. This could be — I want to whisper this, the end of Roe v. Wade.
But this is going to have a massive impact on the American judiciary. It’s thus going to have a massive impact on American culture and society. And the desire that many of us have to return to American traditions and institutions that were part of our founding, that led to our greatness and our exceptionalism, are now going to be the vast majority of opinions on the United States Supreme Court.

he ignited a nation of patriot and informed us of the most critical moral issues of our time.
His life was complete and his task was accomplished.
no one could ask for more.
God Bless America
I miss him too.
And yes, I believe he knows how important today is for the living man and woman.
The gap Rush left is daily more obvious, I miss his wisdom so much.
I was thinking just today how MUCH I miss El Rushbo.
What did they think would happen when they started to talk about and pass laws about killing babies after birth? That is pure evil, yet that’s what D’s think is OK?
They thought they had made so much “progress” that it would be accepted, much like all the trans agenda happening.
I must confess when I have the misfortune to see or hear Adam “pencil-neck” Schiff or Piglosi or the Turtle I could make a cogent argument for veeeeery late term abortion.
One small caveat, McConnell did get the judges through, there is that.
Crowd Prays in Gratitude Outside of SCOTUS as Roe v. Wade Overturned
Short video:
https://www.bitchute.com/video/0-S2AH5Z2sw/
This is going to anger the Treepers, but I have to send out a big thank you to Mitch McConnell. Mitch kept Merrick Garland’s seat open so Trump could fill it. We now know Merrick Garland is a sociopath. The Trump Court gave us Roe v. Wade and Right To Carry concealed guns.
THANKS MITCH!
Wrong, Mitch is a corrupt, conniving, backstabbing traitor no matter how you spin him.
AMEN….NOT EVER praising no Mitch McC
There always seem to be a few pro-McConnell acolytes on this forum willing to overlook what a vile, corrupt P.O.S. he is and trying to convince us that he is good for something.
He is not.
There are some things Mitch does well. It is the things at which he stinks that frosts me, because when he stinks, he really stinks.
MITCH has DESTROYED the USA IN MORE FAR WAYS and his Chinese wife and family…
Law of unintended consequences.
McConnell held that seat open in order to get the Republican base fired up for the election. I don’t think McConnell planned on putting Kavanugh and Barrett on the court as well.
Occasionally Mitch does something worthwhile. But I think anyone from the GOP would have done the same thing.
A broken clock is right twice a day!
Roe V Wade was the original decision that ALLOWED abortion….this decision OVERTURNED Roe V Wade
Women keep saying “hands off my body!”.
Well, SCOTUS just granted your wish. The highest U.S. court has washed their hands of your body.
Now it’s up to the states to finish the job.
Accept that your biology means other bodies can reside w/in you for a short time IF YOU INVITE THEM by having unprotected sex, you selfish, ego-centric POS.
Once you made the choice to make them a possibility, they are their own person, not a clone of you. They have their own DNA..
I posted this under the Presidential thread about an hour ago. I should have waited for this one to come up:
I am not “pro” or “anti” on the abortion issue itself.
I believe it is each person’s prerogative to keep such things private if they so choose.
I applaud returning to the states the right to decide whether or not to “legalize” that controversial medical procedure.
I am ecstatic that every Democrat politician at the state level may have to answer they are FOR or AGAINST abortion to his or her constituents and in turn, suffer the consequences or reap the rewards of that decision.
My major concern is for the physical safety of the Supreme Court justices (and their families).
My second concern is my fear the Dems will do everything in their power to stack the Court – – while they have the chance.
By-the-way…….MAGA!
If killing another human, in their world is not a crime, then maybe they can start convincing prisoners that they were wrongly convicted even if they didn’t mean to kill the innocent bystander behind the intended victim.
I encourage everyone to write a personal thank you note to each of the five justices who voted for life. Imagine receiving thousands of letters in support of your decision after having to bear the protests at your home. God’s blessings upon all who made this day possible!
Hail to the Supremes…
<Hail to the Supremes…>
They were ahead of their time 🙂
‘Baby Love’ (1964)
And don’t forget to send a middle finger to CJ Roberts.
I believe that’s “extend” a middle finger to the Roberts. The “conservative” justice who is only in your corner when you don’t need him.
That is an EXCELLENT idea; thank you! 🙂
“If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain; If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works?” Proverbs 24:11-12 KJV
We the people have allowed this carnage for 49 years.
God help us!
IT’s a DEM defeat…Lib smackdown…we conservatives don’t get much of that.
IF we had to depend on House of Senate gop, we would still be waiting.
They’ve all GONE UNIPARTY….
Thank the Lord for the Supremes.
The liberals don’t get to have all the fun.
Roberts says he concurs the the majority opinion but then argues against it with this …
”Surely we should adhere closely to principles of judicial restraint here, where the broader path the court chooses entails repudiating a constitutional right we have not only previously recognized, but also expressly reaffirmed applying the doctrine of stare decisis.”
The man is a judicial lightweight and should not even be on the court.
I agree, though I think he’s a LOT worse than just a judicial lightweight. 🙁
He’s a DC panderer. A people pleaser–and the people he cares about occupy a certain social strata. They won’t like him now.
The ‘principles of judicial restraint’ would have been not to ‘write’ the abortion law in the first place -the supremes don’t make the laws. Congress does. They recognized a right which is not a right according to the constitution which they did by their legal speak and twisting words into pretzels and inventing new words. Even RGB said Roe was bad law and would be overturned someday, even though she agreed with the ‘right’ to an abortion.
Roberts is a hypocrite and wants it both ways. He should not be on the court. Nonetheless, this is a great day for our country.
He is also financially involved with the Carlysle Group who through proxies control about 90-95% of the medical goods in the country. He should recuse himself from any decision about medical procedures
I think Roberts ruled with the majority in upholding the Mississippi ban after 15 weeks (with some exceptions), but he ruled with the minority on overturning Roe (based on doctrine of stare decisis).
It returned to the states as it should. Never was a federal issue. What these lunatics don’t get is that returning power to the states actually gives the people more of a say.
Just FYI (Shout out to Robert Barnes, so-called prolife attorney)
Justices voting in favor of Roe vs. Wade in 1973
Blackmon -Methodist
Potter Stewart – Episcopalian
William O. Douglas – Presbyterian
Warren Burger – Presbyterian
William Brennan – catholic
Thurgood Marshall- Episcopalian
Lewis Powell – Presbyterian
Justices voting to overturn Roe vs. Wade
Barrett – Catholic
Alito – Catholic
Thomas – Catholic
Kavanaugh – Catholic
Gorsuch – Catholic
Interesting . . . .
In your face, Pelosi, you devil worshipper.
Wow — litmus test much? (Not you, Albertus— I’m referring to Barnes). But for once Catholics have Catholics acting Catholic in upholding the moral and natural law, so it’s a good day.
I agree, liberty not license.
Maybe that’s because many catholics today and for decades now, during their religious instruction as children, view a video of an actual abortion, to make it very clear just what it is.
Strange how they don’t see abortion in the constitution. But, the do see the right to force employees to take the jab or lose their jobs.
yep…where will THAT line be?
A lot of people have drunk the Kool-Aid when it comes to vaxxines–due to years & years of lies & false statements. Many people who are conservative by nature, may think that it’s “better safe than sorry” to get a vax. They often don’t realize otherwise, unless they or individuals they care about–suffer adverse consequences. 🙁 I’m glad that I know how dangerous vaxxines can be, but wish I hadn’t had to learn the hard way over 20 years ago. :'(
they also discount the phrase “shall not infringe” which IS in the US Constitution for the 2nd Amendment
Pause to thank brave souls like Dave Daleiden who further exposed the ghouls at Planned Parenthood.
As AG, Kamala Harris then Becerra abused their power to punish him.
I don’t get the big deal about this. If you want an abortion, you just go to a state that allows it for the procedure. What’s the big deal?
It’s a big deal because now states have the power to outlaw/ban abortions without court challenges at the federal level.
LOCAL legislators are now accountable to their constituents for their decisions on abortion.
THAT’s a big deal – imho!
That’s exactly how it should be.
Now the Dems are claiming that overturning Roe is rayciss! (What isn’t to them??) Because according to them black people are all poor and can’t afford to travel. They’re logic is rayciss but they don’t even have any trouble stating it anyway, because the Dem-controlled media never calls them out on it. Same goes for voter ID.
The more babies they have the bigger the welfare check which is why most Black teenager girls chose to marry the government!
Their logic, I meant to write.
Questions for the radical left.
Why do you support killing innocent children but are against executing the worst of society that has been tried, convicted, and sentenced to death?
Are you aware that inmates on death row have left a trail of victims over their entire lives?
If a 1 month old baby is killed, would you support the death penalty for the murderer?
If at 8 months an unborn child is killed, would you support the death penalty for the murderer?
If a doctor is allowed to kill an 8 month old baby, then why is murdering a 1 month old child not ok?
A lot of those women out there are misanthropes and a lot are lesbians.
There is a reason for the stereotype of the “angry lesbian.”
Hallelujah~
The thing that no one is saying yet… This opens the abortion conversation up to federal legislators as well. You will see a sudden launch of bills regarding this from the house that, like red flag laws will work right through the Senate.
With this and the 2nd amendment decision yesterday I see the possibility of a Constitutional crisis taking effect in the near future.
One will be the refusal of blue states to abide by the right of a citizen to keep and bear arms.
The other, though less likely, the refusal of red states to accept the federalization of abortion codification.
I personally don’t care which side goes in what direction with these things but I welcome the crisis to happen. Because that is the ticket to getting this messy long needed and painful divorce underway.
Two down, one more to go. The pending WV vs EPA decision is also super critical.
If, as expected, SCOTUS rules in favor of WV, the state AGs who signed onto the suit, the American people, and of course, the Constitution, the high court will have a turned a hat-trick of sublime jurisprudence and restored a modicum of Constitutional order.
Keep hammering away at this. WV vs EPA is our best chance to rein in the administrative state, and compel Congress to legislate– which means cast tough votes that they will have to defend rather than rely on anonymous bureaucrats to do their dirty work for them.
Hammering….
The court has added this coming Monday, the 27th, as another day they will be issuing additional rulings. I believe there are a total of 7 more to be issued.
The leftist politicians don’t care about the babies.
They’re fuming because there are fewer fetal parts to sell and less adenochrome to drink.
We’re talking a multi, multi million dollar a year business here.
No, it actually meant that all the women who attempted terminations, prior to 1972, in unsafe and dangerous ways, had an option to have a safe procedure during the first trimester. That was the original intent.
AGAIN it is 1973……how can so many get such a simple fact WRONG
Kroesus, “Chloe”’s reply is I think verbatim of J Brown’s above, even to getting the year wrong as you corrected then. I can’t scroll up to double check without losing the place here, but if I’m correct, things that make you go “hmmmm.”
Deleted by me
And now Dems threaten to ignore another ruling they don’t like. What if Conservative states ignored rulings they didn’t like such as Gay Marriage? Or ignore SCOTUS not hearing election fraud case and ignore Biden as President and any law he signed? Well, Democrats plan on a summer of violence. And with yesterday’s ruling on the 2A, they best be careful because they may get shot for their violence this time.
When SCOTUS decided Roe, did that make abortion a “constitutional right”? I was surprised you wrote that in your headline.
I truly don’t know. When SCOTUS makes new laws does that make them “constitutional”?
No. For reference, re-read the constitution and see what the role of the judiciary is. There job isn’t to MAKE law at all.
*Their
The SC doesn’t make laws. They decide if existing laws are constitutional or not. Whenever the SC decides on the constitutionality of a specific law, their decision infers constitutional grounding and sets a precedent for future laws.
@Sundance, @ Ad Rem,
Check your email. There is a pic in the inbox. I don’t know how to post it here.
Thanks.
On my way….
IT’S BEAUTIFUL!!! 😀

Thank you, Ad rem.
I was so pleased that the print shop was able to do a 2-hour turnaround on this sign. It was very nice of them and very nice of you to post it for me.
love it!
The Democrats hold The House, The Senate, and The Residency. If they want to pass abortion on demand up till 26 years after birth they are free to try to do that.
There were 16 turncoats on gun control – I’m sure they could pick up and easy 10.
Of course, as with obama and amnesty – the dems want abortion, they just don’t want to own it.
Now strip away the billions that end up in Democrats accounts that planned parenthood gives to them.
Now planned parenthood leaders past and present need to be prosecuted for the selling of babies body parts along with those who purchase them.
I need a person with some knowledge of the law to help me out here:
Dems have been saying they wish to have Congress write legislation allowing abortion, “codifying it,” as they say.
I’m confused. If they did that, wouldn’t Congress, as an institution of the federal government, be overturned by the decision that was rendered today, the decision that says only the states can determine such laws?
What am I missing. I realize much of what they say today and all the way up to Nov. is simply a play for Dem base turnout, but still…….
There was never a Federal law regarding abortion. The ’72 Supreme court deemed it a constitutional right by some magical reasoning. this court corrected that error.
Dems are free to craft a law at the federal level if that is what they want.
they used a “right to privacy” they say was inferred in the 4th Amendment’s right to be secure in personal property and things along with “equal protection clause” in the 14th Amendment to manufacture the new “right to abortion”
Pretend that they did.
Would this particular court, with the same folks, say that the issue is up to each state, not up to Congress?
I think the Dems would certainly have a legal battle on their hands if they were able to pass a law legalizing abortions. Of course that won’t stop them from trying.
They will do the usual bullying with the chequebook – no money for states which do not do as the Feds demand.
Yep
It’s a great campaign issue for them among a lot of people, esp. the young, which is why each state should approach their initial laws carefully.
It’s in the second trimester that most people stop thinking of the life within as a fetus, but as a child, a baby.
They technically don’t need to pass a bill legalizing abortion… All they really need to do is call abortion healthcare. Then they can pretty much hold all medical related federal dollars from any state that doesn’t allow abortion.
There are about a million and one ways for them to make this work in their favor… It isn’t going to be pretty.
“I’ve noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.”
― Ronald Reagan
I really cannot understand how Roberts can justify voting in favor of the Miss abortion ban, which is in direct contradiction to Roe, while also voting to uphold Roe…
Because Roe didn’t give a guaranteed right to an abortion and Miss didn’t outright ban it.
Hence you could have kept Roe and still allowed Miss to prevail.
Now you’ve thrown the reins off and Congress will be the end all on the subject.
So we know who was the “leaker.” It is more symbolic than anything else because the STATE has dictated its laws on abortion for the past 50 years; the 2020 riots will be nothing compared to this summer.
I was thinking the same thing. Today’s decision should at least result in less challenges being brought to the SC over the constitutionality of state abortion laws. The SC has washed their hands of the issue.
Maybe it was a Roberts’ clerk who did the leaking, hoping to save HIS legacy?
This is a sad day in America. You might as well cancel the red wave in the fall and Trump’s second term in two years. Look forward to a long rule by the criminal (Democrat) party. Large scale election fraud is also here to stay, since the Republicans will not have enough power to prevent it. Political suicide by the Republicans
The GOP party platform is anti-abortion! And they had nothing to do with the decision to dump Roe. People who were planning to vote GOP during primaries or in November are not going to change their minds.
Woe is me.
WTF?
LOL….and you erroneously think a majority agreed with Roe V Wade….BOY!!! are you in for a surprise come Nov 8
lol @ ‘Political suicide by the Republicans’
This was a court case.
The right has long been Pro-Life.
“The right has long been Pro-Life.” This is true, but only in the sense that they saw a chance of picking up support from a number of people that really should belong to the Taliban. As long as Roe v. Wade was the law, this support was free without any political cost. Not so in the future.
I’ve said that MANY times. The single issue religious voters will go back to the left.
Are you kidding? The party in power doesn’t do well in the midst of a recession. People always vote their pocketbooks.
Always.
I am sure that the deep state has instructed Antifa who they fund as well as their other well funded groups to cause havoc tonight. This may well be the start of civil war II. The blacks will be out looting the stores and setting fires as they always do and many churches will no doubt be firebombed. We live in a very sick world!
That’s why the decision was leaked weeks ago. The rioters needed time to plan the riots and buy their new Che tees and Palestinian scarves (the prices of which have increased since the prior riots).
It sickens me that with all the safe contraceptive choices so many women have, that abortions have increased exponentially.
I agree that abortion as birth control is an especially heinous crime, but in reality, the baby killing business is down across the nation and has been steadily declining since the early 80’s.
Correction, the SCOTUS sent it back to the legislators, not the states.
That leaves this wide open for Congress to federally mandate abortion to the states in a million different ways.
And I’m betting we see that upstart next week.
If it was illegal for the Federal Court to rule in Roe v. Wade why wouldn’t it be illegal for the Federal legislature to do the same? It’s a state’s rights issue. No?
It wasn’t deemed illegal, it was deemed a poor decision by the court to create law.
The right is wishfully wanting to pretend this is a states rights issue when it isn’t. It’s simply, as Thomas said, a issue for legislators.
Which means, yes states can pass legislation, so can the house… Which as we know will override any state.
I’ll get cussed out of saying it but I’ll lay a big fat Vegas bet on the feds legalizing this before 2024.
Just want to remind everyone that millions of women were lied to about what abortion is and isn’t. Many women were scarred physically, psychologically, and emotionally from their abortions. They were told “it’s not a baby”, it’s just tissue, the product of conception. They were told that the “fetus” felt no pain. They were socially pressured from all areas in life, maybe from a parent, a boyfriend, an employer even, a teacher, a counselor, maybe even a Pastor, that abortion was the solution to their hardships. This tragedy, one of the greatest in our country’s history, had its roots in racism. Every step of the way, the victims were women and their children. Please remember this. Try to block out the strident and hysterical cries of the extreme left putting on stunts with fake blood dripping and play dolls. Try to remember that real women were also victims of this onslaught. They are forgiven by God Almighty should they seek that forgiveness. But, we too must extend ourselves in lovingkindness and remember that these women need our love too. Moving forward, we should be ensuring that our communities have something in place to care for and assist women when they are pregnant. It doesn’t have to be some big organization with banners and bright lights. It can be as simple as paying attention in your own community and reaching out to that girl or that woman who might need help. Real help: a listening ear, counseling, love, maternity clothes, groceries, diapers, baby clothes, a crib, formula, rent money, etc. We can’t just say “This is great!” and then do nothing.
I had a daughter who got pregnant at the tender age of 16 and I can’t tell you how horrible the pressure was for her to get an abortion. My grandson is twenty-something now. I understand what it feels like and I understand what we need to do (which I do). Please join me, in your own way, in helping women and their children and their families be successful.
Just sayin’.
I used to be a stupid Democrat under the spell of all of their propaganda. I was told, just like you said, that the baby isn’t really a baby, it’s just tissue, it can’t feel pain, it’s not even really human because it looks like so many other animals at the early stages, etc etc etc. All excuses to make women have zero regard for the new human life thus have no qualms about destroying it. These days they even refer to abortion as “routine women’s health care” which is insane, the destruction of a baby should never be routine. OMG I’m so glad I dumped that party! My head cleared after I walked away and I saw abortion for what it really is, brutal torture that should never be acceptable in a civilized society.
Amen. Those of us who can physically and financially do it should also consider fostering a child. The red tape isn’t as exhaustive as it used to be. It’s something I’ve been looking into. I have 3 spare bedrooms and I throw away uneaten (and good) food every other day.
We have back to back days of DOJ publicly disagreeing with a Supreme Court decision.
That’s a bigger problem than abortion rights.
Meanwhile we are being told by Congress that shepherded trespassers are “insurrectionists”?
If DOJ does not apply decisions of the Supreme Court, is that not insurrection?
How right you are….shameful that the DOJ what make such a statement about the Supreme Court. Whether they agree or not is immaterial, but in this day and age Justice has a whole different meaning.
The DOJ frequently disagrees with the SCOTUS, that’s nothing unusual and it happens on both sides of the isle.
Youngkin released a statement he had State Police etc on alert, he said he would not allow violence to break out in VA. I hope he holds true and cracks heads if necessary. I hope he has the Justice’s homes covered.
So, they can still go get an abortion elsewhere, major companies have said they would fly and pay for their employees to get one. Quit yer crying!
Planned Parenthood and its cronies cannot be happy. LIFE goes on! It’s a good day.
I think that this will become a big election issue, that it may even change the outcome of the election. For those who are affected by it directly it will be a big issue one way or the other, and so far it looks like the larger majority is pro Roe vs Wade.
I think that the Democrats will make this the biggest issue and it might be successful for them. I fear they may have found the one advantage that could keep them in power. The timing of this decision is perfect for them, what a coincidence.
Yup, all the people on this board celebrating haven’t done the calculus and realized that any more talk of a “red wave” at this point is pure folly. It’ll at least be close enough now to enable them to cheat and win in Nov.
LOL…wow several doubting Thomases here misreading their tea leaves….Roe has held minority support for many years now with support for it getting less and less every year
Or they could be like me, and understand it is a teaching opportunity.
Millenials and GenZ alike have questioned me about this. What I have told them is simple. ALL this means is that the decision now lies with the states. Most states let the people vote on issues like this. Therefore, it will reflect the will of the majority. And if you DON’T like the law, it’s easier to work and change it, than it is to change a “federal” ruling.
I disagree. Abortion or the banning of it doesn’t hit one’s pocketbook as much as $6 fuel and rising food and electricity bills.
Let the DEMS focus on abortion. It’s only going to demonstrate even more their complete absurdity, lack of awareness and connectivity to real people in the real world.
With gas at $5/gal and groceries unaffordable, this issue will take a back seat by the time the mid terms roll around.
The ruling was NOT 5-4 or 6-3
Rather, it was 6-3 on the Mississippi case, and 5, 1, 3 on overturning Roe
Today, my entire family knelt down and prayed and gave thanks to God.
I recommend ALL AMERICANS AND PEOPLE OF THE WORLD DO THE SAME.
It MATERS!
Let me copy this link and quote and please contemplate upon the wise words of alito here. I am absolutely CONVINCED that GOD placed his influence on this court.
Instead, Alito concluded, the issue of abortion should “return … to the people’s representatives.”
“egregiously wrong….deeply damaging”: there are only a few scenarios IN LIFE where using this phrase has true meaning. 65 PLUS MILLION MURDERED HUMAN BEINGS is by far the most egregious WRONG and it IS deeply damaging.
When a man can no longer find the struggle over the question of taking a life, that man has lost his soul.
Today…the scotus judges showed they have a soul and a desire to make what ought to be what is.
this is A GREAT START.
Now, the mission continues. Get involved. let your state representative know your OWN judgements on murdering small human beings.
Today is the day we all look in the mirror and ask: have I done my part to honor GOD?
Honor God.
God Bless America
While we are all distracted and focused inward and bracing for a nasty weekend, don’t forget to keep an eye on Europe. Follow the monkey. Lots of activity, including nuke sniffers along the US East Coast.
Would it be possible for you to provide a link with regard to nuke sniffers along the US East Coat. This is important news.
Thanks🙂
Today’s broadcast
There is and was NO Constitutional right to an abortion. I would like for these web sites to stop saying such….
