With barely more than a third of the country supporting the installed occupant of the White House, Joe Biden took to the podium tonight to demand a litany of new gun restrictions. Biden called for the banning of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines through reinstating the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban, noting that if that can’t happen, the government should raise the legal age to purchase such weapons from 18 to 21.
Biden also called on congress to construct new federal background checks, which sounded a lot like a federal registration of gun ownership. Also, he is demanding “red flag” laws that will allow schools, counsellors, doctors and others to flag an individual as a threat to themselves or others, thereby removing their right to gun ownership. Biden also said he want’s congress to ban large capacity magazines limiting all firearms to five bullets. WATCH:

It was suspected the ATF was going to do the serial number thing in the recent and controversial new ruling which dealt with Pernonsally Made Firearms or PMF’s and Frames and Receivers. The document of the complete ruling however did not do that.
There is no way to just undo how serial numbers have worked for decades and decades and not cause a massive crash of the the system with so many damn serial numbers. There is no way they could store them all.
Too many guns to be grandfathered in that are already legal. The five round magazine is a joke. These kind of draconian threats against basic human rights are going nowhere but reason enough to stock up. I would expect to see another surge in gun purchases.

Ohio governor DeWine will sign into law a bill that reduces to 24 the number of gun training hours required for teachers to be armed at schools. Previously, the number of hours was over 700 (basically, full police training).

The failure of our country is money and corruption, AKA bought government. If we try to hide the problem, we can never fix the problem. As long as corruption exists on one side, the other side has to be corrupt in order to have two political parties.
Both sides will fight in order to keep the system of corruption going and make it stronger. This is why they had to steal the election.
Luckily, we are down to one Koch brother which is one too many.
I am not sure but it seems like Florida came so very close to having a really weird black guy as their governor.
If he had not passed out in a hotel room with a male escort I think he was ahead in the polls and looking pretty good to win.
The voters lucked out on that one.

I’m no legal wiz-kid, but I’m pretty sure nearly everything his handlers are suggesting has been tried at the state level somewhere and mostly shot-down in the courts. I’m not suggesting we shouldn’t pay attention here. Everyone knows we are dealing with Maoists and they play hardball.
Just ask any of the folks that lived through Mao’s China in the 50’s and 60’s. Many are still alive and can tell you first-hand what they did to people and the methods they used. We are primed and ready for much of that here already. It will just take “an event” to make it so.
agree, another thing is that federal gun laws are too out of touch with communities. As example a citizen of Alasks may need a gun to walk a mile along a road to a store. it’s not criminals, it’s wildlife. Some people in normal suburbs may not need a gun every day but it is good to have. Responsible People in NYC should have guns to protect themselves from criminals who have guns.
“Logic”, or, “Common Sense”, will get ya no where with those who do not understand what “Logic”, or, “Common Sense” means.
Your point is made though & makes sense to those who Do understand Logic & Common Sense.
