Pennsylvania Senate Candidate Kathy Barnette appeared on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream to answer questions about her prior positions, statements and current candidacy. Barnette has climbed in the polls and is in a tight race for the PA senate seat.
There has been an onslaught of criticism and critique in opposition to Kathy Barnette. Many political followers are concerned she might win the primary but then get crushed in the general election due to inflammatory statements in her past. This interview was a great opportunity for her to calm the nerves of republican primary voters and instill confidence. Unfortunately, Barnette did not do well in this interview. WATCH:
Shannon Bream was fair and gave Barnette plenty of time to explain her positions. Pennsylvania voters will need to make their own decisions. Trust your instincts; if you sense sketchy, it is likely because sketchy exists.
Well, if it turns out that Barnette is one of those stealth McConnellesque splitter strategy candidates and she wins the primary it’s a guarantee the next Senator from PA will end up being a Democrat.
I’m remembering when the Tea Party was just emerging and candidates were gaining ground in pre-primary debates in the States and what happened here, in Nevada, was that several hard core democrats, encouraged by Harry Reid, entered the fray, pretending to Tea Party folk, and really screwed up the primaries so much we ended up with a candidate that Harry Reid mopped the floor with in the general election.
Listening to this interview reminded me of that candidate we had in Nevada, had a lot of nice soundbites but never really addressed the questions so yeah, sketchy is a good word.
If that turns out to be whom Barnette is, and it works, expect to see many more of this type of stealth ‘MAGA’ candidates emerging in other State primaries suddenly coming from behind just in time to throw a wrench into the works for candidates that PDJT has taken the effort to put his name behind.
This is an all-out war between the deep state control and citizens who are just now waking up to the fact we have a Uniparty and are desperately searching for MAGA candidates and we have to learn our own tricks for honest vetting; and trusting that we will learn how to smell out the rats before it’s too late. It will take us all some practice, and patience.
Politics is an ugly business. It takes no prisoners that’s for sure.
Good luck PA voters. God speed.
If you think about it a little more you’ll come to the conclusion that. In reality all of this is designed to present a choice you don’t really have.
No amount of voting will swing us back into any direction that removes power from the government or limits it’s ability to control.
That is where people really need to get to in order to find a path to changing this.
Bingo! I’ve been saying for a couple years now that we aren’t voting ourselves out of this hot mess. And precisely as you say, people need to come come to that conclusion before anything changes.
Many of us who use to read Sipsey Street Irregulars have known this for a while. Buy lots of ammo and hope for the best.
Agreed fully.
If we could vote out if this mess, that would have been accomplished. Patriotic Americans have been trying for decades.
Instead we get more deep state and more swamp in playing by their rules, which they use against us.
Going to need some courageous and Fresh out of the box thinking and a new approach.
Well, I have been waiting for over 30 years to hear about any of this fresh and out of the box thinking. After the need is expressed, the conversation usually stops and we are left to try to reform the system with our votes. The good guys are running for office everywhere this year. Do your research and find them and vote for them. In the mean time, maybe we will hear about a better idea, but by now I would bet we don’t.
I see your point but again, ‘the good guys’ get voted into office, are in Washington about a month, and all pretenses about ‘good’ go out the window.
Dan Crenshaw Jonie Ernst it’s a long list we all have our favorites
Don’t forget the 150+ Tea Party Patriots!!! 🙄
I’d like to point out that about every 12 years “the good guys” aka *whatever new synonym they’ve invented for the word Republican* comes along.
There are no good guys… There are only progressives.
Or possibly an old approach suggested by the Bill of Rights.
We did vote out of this, but we trusted traitors to count the votes.
You could elect trump 10 times and you’ll get the same results. He’s a progressive, more government, more debit, more spending.
Saying somewhat cross things is a gimmick, not a means of change.
I’m positive that this is the game. She’s funded by WinRed, the establishment GOP pac…….McConnell

Many are falling for same dirty trick
Explain Doug Mastriano endorsement of Barnette. Please don’t tell me Doug is a rino.
One doesn’t have to be a Rino to be fooled.
We voters were fooled for decades!
RINOs are never fooled. It’s the battered conservatives that take the bait every time. And get betrayed every time.
Yep, and the smear campaign always works…
We’re like the short fat kid trying to get picked for the baseball team in high school. Terrific sense of the sport and lots of heart but no “game.” We’re always striving but usually losing. Where do we go?
Correct! And one doesn’t have to act like he is a RINO in order to be one. Find out about.
Not going to say that At all
IKR? These purists are who got us here, they’re insane “definition of doing the same thing over and over”
Trump used WinRed.
So what’s your point, other than to mindlessly bash Barnette?
Trump is STILL associated with WinRed.
And WinRed is a relentless fundraising machine that will sell your name to any and every candidate for years to come. I’m sorry I ever sent that $60 to DTJr in 2016. 3-5 mails a day from him to this day, all flailing about how I’m turning my back on the US for not donating today 🤬
This is true.
It is like contracting herpes using them for anyone.
Can you provide an extensive list of 2022 GOP candidates not funded in any way shape or form by WinRed?
You may be correct about the splitter strategy and/or who the splitter is but if you research it I’m 98% certain you’ll find that WinRed has funding tentacles to at least 98% of the candidates.
WinRed and splitter strategies are yet other reasons why MAGA should have their own party and NOT be mixed into the dog’s breakfast that are the GOP primary candidates. But I digress.
By associating with WinRed Barnette made it into the race. Yea, WinRed gets their cut.
Anyone critical of Barnette for being reliant on WinRed when Trump with all of his Super Pacs is still associated with WinRed need to check themselves.
It is not a funding agency; it collects the donations for candidates.
Happens every election. Too many totally uninformed voters.
barnette said she wouldn’t be voting for mcconnell as leader.
Can we believe ANYTHING these people say? We’ve heard it a million times then they get in and become RINOs.
WinRed is not a funding agency; it’s what Republicans use to collect donations just like the Dems have some blue thing they use. Educate yourself before reaching incorrect conclusions.
I have not yet watched the Fox interview but is she asked about her opinion of McConnell??
Just saw ‘Gary’ comment earlier today – I see she is not a McConnell supporter an has said so.
Your a plant .. paid controlled opposition. If not can I suggest a visit to Liberty Daily for another opinion. Research JD Rucker on this subject. JD Rucker NOQ Report among others. Then get back to us. Thanks OZ is a globalist .. any questions?
Yes, I have one…new here?
Bessie is not, and is a clear headed Patriot who presents her views (shared by many/most here) in a thoughtful, unbiased way.
So please take your accusations and head on back to LD or whatever you’re shilling.
Yes I do, and if DT endorses Oz, and Oz is a Winfrey Turk globalist, then why are we pretending to support DT? If our Ultra King is duped or misleading us, then why are we hoping for his candidacy in 2024?
Politics is a game you have your best chance at influencing locally. Nothing short of a godly King will ever work for the long haul. Human democracies and republics are about treading water, at best, so save your money for authentic causes closer to home.
This charade will end when God ends it. He’s the one you answer to, not McConnell or anyone else in DC.
Note you failed to respond to a single issue PA voters care about.
The 80/s want their politicians back
Just vote no.
As I mentioned, I’m not a Pennsylvania voter, but have experienced these same tricks that were instigated by Harry Reid here in Nevada, and our State has suffered immensely from them, so simply adding observation from afar, also from ‘been there, done that, wish it to never happen to anyone else’. So there’s that.
“Barnette is one of those stealth McConnellesque splitter strategy candidates …”
This is one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever read, anywhere.
You missed the first words in the sentence, i.e. “Well, if it turns out . . .”
The Democrat machine is perhaps the most adept at deceiving people as any other crime family and it does great damage to underestimate the games they are willing to play. Again, “if” and I can see how that has worked in the past, not saying it is, simply asking ‘if’?
Another use of that word “if” is – if people don’t start honing their innate discernment skills how do we expect to get ourselves out of this mess we all allowed ourselves to get put into?
Plus, after following Sundance’s musings for almost a decade now, have learned one thing, that man has definitely honed his discernment instincts to a such fine point that following his hunches over anyone’s facts is worthy to take to the bank.
Sundance is wrong here. Period.
Sorry, even Washington was wrong once about a cherry tree.
If Barnette was a splitter candidate, the press would not be attacking her.
We can’t know that if for some reason the press is also a player. Simply was an out-loud wondering after watching her interviewed raised the memory of what happened here in Nevada with about 5 so-called Tea Party people that turned out to be friends of Harry Reid and the split that happened in the primary left us with one really wacky candidate that Reid was able to shoo away as if she had been a mere gnat.
Stuff like that, once you can see the strings, cannot be unseen, and love Treeper Troublemaker’s idea – Barnette is going to be at one of those campaign events today so a perfect opportunity for discerning Treeper’s to go, and ask her questions to see if she is as we are being sold she is.
FAUX news is giving her exposure so she can clear up any miscommunications. Instead, she became defensive, pulling both the woman card and the race card to distract from her very own shortcomings. Deflection.
President Trump is correct. She can never win the general in a purple state.
Yes they would. Press attacks are the perfect strategy. Make you believe you’re getting an outsider.
The top choices up until last week were both absolutely swamp.
Then Barnette comes out of the pack because she’s actually campaigning. She’s spent a fraction of what they have and yet she’s up there with them.
I don’t know if she’s a plant, but if she is she’s worked a whole lot harder than any of the other candidates.
I know what Oz and McCormick are, she’s at least a hope for something better. I’m tired of voting for the lesser of two evils.
If you live in the Scranton PA area, there is a meet and greet with Kathy Barnette and Jack Brewer on May 16th at 5pm.
Go ask her the hard questions and let us know.
My question for each Senate candidate: When Trump is reelected, will you give him his recess appointments, or will you join with Democrats to allow proforma sessions and let filabusters leave most political appointments filled by holdovers or only by those preselected by McConnell?
I find it difficult to imagine McConnell will be the Senate majority leader, in anyones administration. Rinos are a dying breed.
The senate majority leader is not part of anyone’s administration. It’s independent of the executive branch and the majority leader is chosen solely by Republican senators. If McConnell resigns, his replacement will be John Thune who used to be conservative, but is now a cookie cutter of McConnell, so it doesn’t really matter. For whatever reason, the other senators are OK with McConnell – they claim he is an expert of the arcane senate rules and the others aren’t interested in learning them, but it’s an abdication of responsibility to not get a better leader.
The fact that “arcane Senate rules” are even a consideration is bad news indeed. We need sunlight, not “arcane rules”. Term limits might diminish the importance of “arcane rules” ….
The arcane rules of the senate refers to how legislation is managed through the senate. It has nothing to do with sunlight or term limits. This is the knowledge to know when to object, add amendments, stall, filibuster, reconsider and on and on and on. Those rules are the same with or without term limits.
By the way, the Supreme Court has already rules on term limits back in the 90s. The only legal way is through a Constitutional amendment, which means it will never happen. California voters voted for term limits and it was taken to the SC and the proponents of term limits lost.
anyone can put a parlimentarian on their staff
True. Good point, but for whatever reason that is not done. It seems to be important for the leaders to know the rules themselves, perhaps because they have to be quick on their feet at times while the senate is in session and there is not time to consult.
Please tell me what I’m hoping for in November. The true test of these Rs is in that leadership vote and they cave EVERY. TIME.
Until they retire from their perches of power, they are still in control of the “opposition” party.
Sadly, it will take 6 years to knock Rinos out of power, so he may remain majority leader for the time being.
McConnell has all the authority with this issue. I guess if he was pressured by the other senators, he could relent, but this is his decision. But it’s a great question. The issue of no recess appointments during Trump’s turn really bothered me.
All it would have taken was one single senator to force the recess.
And what does that tell us? None of them can be trusted – even, apparently, Rand Paul.
Never forget this.
Not exactly. Any senator can request the senate to adjourn and another senator can request a voice vote or a recorded vote. In addition, the House also has to agree that the senate can adjourn, so from 2018 through the end of Trump’s term, the House wouldn’t have allowed it anyway.
Je suis vous!
Campaign slogan has a familiar ring to it.
It seems Fat Lenin Fetterman has some skeletons in his closet.
Seems he has some health problems too.
He had a stroke last Friday. He has A Fib.
Fetterman has MANY skeletons in his closet. First, you need to look into his Non-Profits that took over Braddock when he was mayor, There were at least 6 that he operated, all with insurance through his father’s insurance company. These NGOs were in place of actual businesses opening. Braddock is/was a food desert. The nearest grocery store was a bus ride away. Instead of allowing business to come in, Fetterman opened an ‘urban farm’ and a ‘store’ that has expired grocery store food. There was another one that provided a taxi service to residents. As mayor, he ignored domestic violence incidents anc covered up crime. My urban research graduate class did an entire study on Braddock. A group of girls knocked on his door to interview him and his wife answered, naked. He was painting her naked body and smoking weed. He knew what time they were supposed to arrive.
Here, we just call him Fatterman.
The skeletons in his closet will show that he’s very much “big-boned”.
Yeah, that’s a very disappointing interview.
Barnette seems uncomfortable and doesn’t answer basic questions, such as where she was an adjunct professor.
Then she gives a feminist sneer to the phrase “the two men.”
Plus the globalist Club for Growth has endorsed her. That’s a group that loves globalist Pat Toomey.
So.
We’ve seen this pattern before.
A candidate comes out and says the right stuff — but it was all a show.
I’m thinking about Sean Parnell who seemed MAGA, but has now endorsed the establishment candidate.
These politicians are all bought. They are all puppets. They make all their policy decisions based on who is buying them.
It now seems to me that Oz has been bought by Trump.
I don’t think Oz’s past statements matter much.
Oz is NOT the establishment candidate; so, if he wins, he’ll know why. He won’t have the establishment there to pick him up again. He’ll only have Trump.
I was leaning toward Barnette until this interview.
Now I’m going with Oz.
It’s sad that we can’t trust what politicians say. They are always, always lying.
How can the voters choose when they are constantly being lied to?
My gut says, “All of these choices are bad, so I’ll go with Trump’s choice.”
me too.
Glad I don’t have to vote!
I’m weary of glib politicians – actually, I’m sick of them. I prefer a real person – we need more real, normal people in Congress and she is one of them.
I agree. She’s just a normal person and that’s how she talks because she has not been trained on how to lie smoothly.
I saw someone who can ignore a valid question, and poorly “shuck & jive”. Not a racist OR sexist bone in my body…but she obviously doesn’t possess the intellect or gravitas to serve at the level she’s seeking. I wish her success elsewhere. I don’t get to vote in PA, either. My biggest concern about Oz is that he will be another Romney…too controlled by what he considers a conscience to do what needs to be done. I don’t think Oz is personally invested adequately in the idea of America to be a US Senator.
I’m a conservative Republican (with libertarian philosophical leanings) who lives in AZ. I have to say, while I didn’t vote for Kyrsten Sinema…I’m surprisingly pleased with her performance as a Senator. If you read her bio…yeah, she’s ultra liberal, but she sure is an impressive individual. I don’t believe she’s as harmful to the republic as the east coast liberal elites.
You’re actually think conscience plays a role in driving Romney? Oh my. 🙄
If you got to vote in PA, you’d go to her website to find out anything you wanted to know.
Yup she skipped saying where she was adjunct professor, but likely missed it because she wanted to push her website. She’s answered that in other interviews with no hesitation.
I have so many concerns about Oz being my rep that I can’t even name them all. Turkish citizen and voted and served in the military there. He’s pro abortion and anti 2nd amendment, pushed the Jussie hoax and is cozy with lots of leftists.
Kathy has none of that going against her.
that’s why I like The Great Maga – no parceltongue wordsalads
Go to her website and then comment again. She was a professor and she has 4 pages of service records. She was beating the street while the “two men were trading barbs”
It’s hard to imagine OZ or swamp guy working the streets that way
Also the answers to most of the questions are on the website.
Her website was changed LAST THURSDAY. THe website had no important info last Wednesday. Stop and ask yourself WHY someone running for Senate would so radically change their website days before the primary. This is way beyond sketchy.
Why? She added to her website when people actually started vetting her because all her leg work and stumping through PA had drawn her even with the top 2! Perfectly reasonable not sketchy at all. Her not adding it would have been the sketchy.
So she, like a good sales person, added to her website so that those last minute questions that were being posed as “got yahs” were answered.
You are still seeing in this thread people accusing her of Stolen Valor. She had just listed a generic comment about military service in her Bio. Now she’s posted her paperwork.
She’s the wolf in sheeps
Talk with no action
Trump knows who he can work with.
I didn’t see Oz in DC or on the PA Statehouse steps in 2020.
I saw Barnette there, repeatedly.
Oz was probably hanging out with Oprah in Florida then, laughing at the masked servants.
And that, most likely, is why Mastriano endorsed her.
Trump actually has said he would support her.
“She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.”
She is being vetted and explaining things in her past, so I hope she overtakes Oz and McCormick.
She did answer the adjunct professor question. She referred folks to her website, and there is evidence posted about the Illinois school. Someone may question the evidence, but it isn’t correct to say she avoided that question.
Exactly – there are multiple interviews , Bannon likes her
Bannon also “liked” the guy in Alabama, going so far as to rally against President Trump’s endorsement there. Bannon’s pick then lost to the Democrat, just like PDJT predicted.
This isn’t rocket science.
what were OZ and swamp guy doing 10 years ago?
Your gut and mine disagree. Why? Look at some of Trump’s administrative-level choices during his first term. Yeah, yeah, I know The Turtle “tied Trump’s hands”. Nonetheless, the results are what they are.
Primary among Trump’s poor choices were Sessions and Barr. Both were worse than worthless.
When your only choices are what McConnel allows because all recess appointments were blocked, you have to use what’s available and hope to move the margins. The same for Supreme Court Justices.
Compare those results to the positions where President Trump had free reign and you’ll see the difference.
You go to war with the army you have, not the army you wish you had. You don’t build your strategy on nothing but Hail Mary touchdown plays either. President Trump is acting now based on what will get us victory in the long run.
And Trump stands behind his operation warp speed. How’s that wonderful amazing “vaccine” working out? Yeah, I’d base my decision on what Trump says instead of actually meeting with, talking with, and researching the candidates on your own. What is wrong with you people! WAKE UP!!! Do your own research. STOP blindly doing what someone tells you to do. That’s why we are in this mess to begin with. Vote for Oz or McCormick or Barnette after you’ve personally gone to their events or talked with them. Vote how you want when you’ve done your civic duty of personally vetting the candidates.
I worked in sales for years. When you know your competition has planted an an objection, you need to be prepared with a direct, succinct response.
Kathy flubbed her answers to the questions on her adjunct professorship and military experience. She should have known these questions were going to come up and been ready. This should have been a slam dunk.
I thought Shannon Bream was fair and impartial.
nah,
Bream: “we have limited time for our audience to get to know you so let’s focus on minor irrelevancies instead of the important issues wrecking our country”
Actually Bream wasn’t fair or impartial or she would have quoted the full sentence of Trump’s from his 3 sentence statement about Barnette. She also didn’t even know basic info on Fetterman.
“She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.”
So Barnette”S past statements disqualify her but Oz”S past statements don’t matter much? Hmm.
oz and mccormick are world economic forum.
That for me is bottom line. Because when they take over fully, it won’t matter if the candidate has a D or an R in front of his/her name. Next week they’re voting to turn our sovereignty over to the WHO for any possible health situation. Biden* is voting for it. I imagine Oz would too. Kathy has said she would not and has said she does not and never will go along with the WEF. Her Facebook page has a large banner saying “hire the unvaccinated.” This, for me, is the number one issue.
I’d decided weeks ago that I’d go with one of the lesser known candidates who was breaking out of the pack to go up against Oz and McCormick. I didn’t know Barnette any more than the others. Since then it’s amazed me how many people I know have met her in the past year.
She’s risen in the polls because she’s done the work of actually going out and campaigning.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with your sentiment here, although I would likely still go with Barnette if I lived in the state…
I really do feel for PA voters and for this difficult decision they have to make.
Please also see report as posted on thelibertydaily.com:
Dr. Oz Pulls out the Race Card as Critics Highlight the Many Allegiances He Has to Turkey
J D Rucker
Interesting read. Here’s the url:
https://thelibertydaily.com/dr-oz-pulls-out-the-race-card-as-critics-highlight-his-allegiance-to-turkey/
Yikes. That’s some serious Conflict Of Interest there…. somebody needs to check his FARA paperwork.
Has OZ been “vetted”? I’m hearing that word a lot lately… vetted this and vetted that.
FTA…
“Democrats have always been better at highlighting the negatives of their Republican opponents than GOP primary competitors have been. They will do a much better job of casting doubt on Dr. Oz’s true allegiance. If he wins the primary, his entire history as a supporter and sycophant of a very anti-American regime will be broadcast to the people of Pennsylvania daily.”
It’s comin’… Binder Full Of Turkish Business Relationships. Dems are nasty, desperate, and they’re playin’ for keeps… also: they’re really good at “political stuff”…
Thank you Martha!
Sooooo, I watched the interview and I’m not seeing the trouble mentioned by Sundance. I thought she stated clearly and answered Shannon’s questions. I have looked at her website and her military record is there. There are those who are wanting to muddy the issues up about her military record and don’t understand how to read her records. I don’t live in PA but if I did I’d vote for her over the two Faux R’s. Sick of the RINO’s.
She was asked simple questions, she refused to briefly elaborate. she could have explained instead she said to go to my webpage. she dodged simple questions.
She took control. Something leaders do. Look it up
VSG does this all the time. He doesn’t let the opposition set the terms of engagement
I’m missing something…I thought it was a good interview, also. I don’t trust Dr. Oz. He’s made some very liberal comments on his show in the distant past. And I’m not from Pennsylvania either, but if I were…
Oz’s ongoing close relationship with Turkey seems troubling. One may have dual citizenship passively (e.g., from some European countries, where you automatically have citizenship in your mother’s country, regardless). What puzzles me, though, is his voting in a Turkish election but not an American one. Plus, I am wondering why/how he is an American citizen, since his parents never intended to remain in the U.S.
Yup, military people I know have zero problems with Kathy’s military records. It’s what they would expect from National Guard and Reserve duty.
She never was deployed and didn’t claim it.
Those answers were not on her website last Wednesday; they turned up on Thursday on her site. Why on earth were these simple, ordinary points not there before last Thursday? It seems to me that not very many PA voters checked out her website until the last few days. I’m not in PA and I read through the entire site on Wednesday. The headings are the same, the content is greatly expanded. That is a huge red flag to me.
Kathy wasn’t being asked questions about a lot of nitpicky things until she started matching the two GOPe guys in the polls.
I’d be concerned if she had not added the info to her website. So no red flag to me at all.
I have to really give Sundance credit here for seeing thru Barnette. She’s not ready for primetime and will cost us this seat if she wins on Tuesday, which I will do my best to prevent here in PA.
I personally like Jeff Bartos and Carla Sands the most out of the bunch, but it doesn’t look like either have any momentum. With that said, McCormick is the best of the top 3, IMO. I like the fact that PDJT’s trade negotiator, Lighthizer, has endorsed McCormick.
McCormick is Mitch McConnell and Karl Rove’s pick.
….and Pompeo’s, I think.
McCormick is GOPe. I agree Sand and Harris are decent, but don’t have a chance.
So why not go for Trump’s pick?
He doesn’t live in Pennsylvania.
I believe the issue has always been whether she could win in the general.
She’s a black woman, running in Philadelphia.
She’s the strongest of the three on voter demographics.
And Fetterman has black voter problems.
Sundance is dead wrong here.
And implicitly siding with a pro-abortion pick, knowing the very pro-life foundations supporting this website, I find very disappointing.
I’ll just have to chalk it up to reasonable minds differing.
china dave and china mitch.
Oz will cost us the seat because the Dems will go after his Turkey connections and hammer them. If that isn’t enough they will show him as a Carpetbagger and anything else they can dig up.
Barnette has been campaigning for months with out stop.
Also there are plenty of people I know who will not vote for Oz because of his stated stand on abortion.
Totally disagree…A vote for Oz is a Romney, McCain, Murkowski, Collins, Barrasso, etc etc etc Vote…We already have enough of those votes. Barnette can and will win.
HERE IS THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUMP BACKING OZ -They have been friends for decades and he lives near Trump in Mar-a-Lago. We all know Pres Trump likes loyalty and he is being loyal to Oz as a friend but we know that Loyalty doesn’t go both ways as witnessed by the above names and oh, should I mention Christie, Pence, Mattis, etc etc…
I bet he’s to the left of Romney, when all is said and done.
Go with Trump’s choice. Oz will work with him for us.
We will get all of our answers when Oz takes the oath of office on a Koran.
I am a Pennsylvanian and I’ve been with Kathy Barnette from the start. Yes, the hit job last week did give me pause and had me reconsidering, but she has answered all hard questions to my satisfaction. She is THE most conservative candidate in the race.
Speaking of race, she’ll be the only candidate who can bring up Democrat candidate, John Fetterman’s racist past.
P.S. Apparently Fetterman suffered a stroke yesterday. GOSH…sure hope that it isn’t serious. (WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE)
First I heard of the stroke was from Kathy.
I’m also in PA and we have two leading candidates, Oz and McCormick who are carpet baggers. Add to that a bunch of out our Commonwealth people telling us who we should vote for.
I decided about three weeks ago that I wasn’t voting for Oz or McCormick and was looking at the other candidates. Kathy came out of the pack because she’s worked her ass off.
Also from PA here. First time I heard Kathy speak was shortly after 2020 election. Her message was solid then and has not changed. I have been reading this site since before 2016, and this article disappoints me terribly. I have done my own homework and have had my questions answered about Kathy long before today. As far as I’m concerned Kathy is the only choice and she’s an excellent candidate.
P.S. My husband & I have determined that if the Commonwealth people recommend someone, we can be certain not to vote for them.
It disappoints me too.
Sundance, who is presumably right-to-life, implicitly affirming Trump’s pick of a pro-abortion candidate, and throwing the only expressly right-to-life candidate under his tweet bus.
Sad.
I do not live in Pennsylvania but if I did I would vote for Kathy. I was disappointed also in this article because I did not see her answers as sketchy at all. She’s just not been trained on how to lie.
Thank you for being a voice of reason! Vote for the candidate you’ve followed, you’ve researched, and you’ve gone to events and heard speak. I’m so sick of people saying vote for whoever Trump tells you to like he’s made the best choices in people or “medicine” aka the clot shot. Do your civic duty and research your candidates and make up your own mind! We need to be done blindly following. We need to be critical thinkers capable of getting to know who’s going to represent us and vote accordingly.
Amen. KB owes nobody. Did you see the ad with her mother? Authentic.
Isn’t the question, ‘why would a true and authentic MAGA candidate accept support from Club for Growth?’ A RINO group which has been anti Trump, anti working class, and pro China.
Weird.
Oz is the poster child for sketchy. Poor choice by Trump. Oz is a carpet bagger, he knows nothing about PA other than expensive hotels that someone books for him. Look at his TV shows, the topics, the positions he supports. Screems Liberal DemocRAT. Cancel out who Mitch and the Country Club Repubs support. That leaves Kathy and the others. The whole Senate needs to be flushed, if she is half the AF representative, I would be happy with that. The fact that she would not vote for Mitch as Senate leader is good enough for me.
I went to hear her speak when she stopped in my home town. She spoke about several items like denouncing BLM, the border crisis, Ukraine , etc. She has my vote and I feel this is a last ditch effort by the powers that be to knock her down. When I make my choice tomorrow, I’m giving her chance. I already know who Oz is as well as McCormick. I will not vote for either of them come fall if they win. That is the feeling of most people in PA. Oz is a chameleon….that I know for sure. Go to Kathy’s site….its right there. https://barnetteforsenate.com/things-you-want-to-know/
Funny, I said she wasn’t a conservative last week during a puff piece on her.
I was a bad person for “reading” about her.
Was leaning Barnette, after all that has been revealed over the past several weeks, I’ll hold my nose and vote Oz.
Someone from PA, voting for a guy from North Jersey?
How authentic of you.
Enjoy your abortions and gun control.
Oz definitely gives off the “Duck Hunting On Saturday, Federal Gun Registry On Tuesday” vibe. IMO.
Life’s about trying to make the best choices at the end of the day. Barnette will likely get destroyed in the general. I’d rather have Oz than crazy Fedderman. You may find that inauthentic… I call it being pragmatic…. Have a nice day!
How is a black woman going to “get destroyed” in the general … in Philadelphia?
Is that what Fox News keeps telling you?
Obviously you’re have no clue about Philadelphia politics. Almost without question people vote Democrat, race, ideas or anything else is not a consideration.
Not true. I’m from Philadelphia and my family lives there.
Actually, I know a lot about Philly politics.
And they do vote on skin color there, sadly.
She’s been hitting the churches in Philly so she is known and listening to people there. Oz? nope.
Oz will get attacked in the general for being a carpetbagging guy with more ties to Turkey then PA.
I think Kathy has a darn good chance in PA, better than Oz!
I suggest you set the Sundance comment aside and listen to the interview with your own ears.
Don’t be a sheep in the herd.
Holding noses is what brought us Romney,Graham and McConnell.Talk about the definition of insanity. So keep holding your nose when Senator Oz votes to codify baby killing!
Why? What has been revealed that you don’t like?
Or is it just attacks on her that have been answered?
The biggest that caused me pause was the Stolen Valor accusation. That made me really look at her and found it was lies.
Anyone implying or spreading rumors about that is a horrible person. I actually know several people who repeated that, and were angry with themselves that they fell for it. They are now voting for her because that in their eyes was an ultimate dirty trick.
Barnette may be less than ideal, but Oz is better?
She doesn’t like Obama? How horrible of her.
If Doctor Oz becomes a successful politician
his claim to fame
will be the UNMASKING of covid fear.
I hope the Doctor is successful in his mission statement.
covid fear = BAD economy
And she said mean things about Muslims..horrors!
She said Obama was a Muslim! Get the tar and feathers! Fox is extremely agitated over this assault on Obama/America!
Her website notes her proposal to erect a bronze of Obama as a symbol of fulfilled promise from the Lincoln/slave bronze BLM tried to tear down. Hmm.
Interesting. This is so weird. So did she vote for Obama twice. In 2008, you could forgive her, but how about 2912?
Hmm. What do you know, given the time Trump was right, yet again. Imagine that.
You know given the amount of times that man has been right and everyone else wrong, you would assume he has earned the benefit of the doubt. Maybe just maybe he knows what he is doing.
You don’t get to a position Trump is in by repeating your mistakes. Patience and trust. Trump has earned that much…
Trump was dead assed wrong about the vaccines and keeps pushing them.. And don’t give me the garbage about he is not for mandates. That is not a good excuse.. it is blindered.. I cannot forgive hm for that. Too many have died directly from them and absolutely no acknowledgement of that stinks to high heaven. Don’t talk to me like Jesus and do the work of the devil.
If you say so. It’s just funny how you guys always end up at the same place. No representation but hey let’s go with your way because it’s so clearly worked in the past right?
“Not for mandates” is the difference between taking personal responsibility for your health care and the Democrats forcing you to choose between a job or being a lab rat.
I would not call that “garbage”.
Doctor Oz is using science and common sense to defeat the
Nervous Nancys and Bagdad BOBs of the covid world order.
Oz is taking flak because he is over the target’s.
He is dropping truth BOMBS and the Democrtats are running for cover.
Oz praised ‘Chyna’s’ handling of the lockdowns and approach to covid. Anybody doing that is dead wrong. Do a little research on what’s happening there now. Do a little research on what they are doing to the Uyghur population there. Do a little research on who owns the WHO. It’s Chyna! Guess who’s about to take over our sovereignty as a nation when it comes to healthcare…the WHO. So, yeah, I’d say Oz has a Chyna problem.
I couldn’t believe when Trump said “two very smart people” convinced him to shut down the economy…and he did! Are you kidding me, I thought then it was possibly the worst decision ever made by a President.
Trump is wrong in supporting Oz. He’s been wrong about a number of people.
I’m in PA and I will not vote for Oz or McCormick, they are both swamp.
Trump is fallible and his rationale for not endorsing Barnette, “not being vetted”, has fallen by the wayside.
She has been campaigning for over A YEAR! Is it her fault she wasn’t “vetted”?
She has answered all the questions. Trump could have had these answers before endorsing Oz, but either he chose not to get those answers or someone close to him kept whispering Oz in his ear as his retort to CoC McCormack. Does it matter which?
When Trump admits he was wrong about the clot shot and apologizes for his role in it then you can say things like he was right. That shot has killed and maimed thousands of Americans. He refuses to acknowledge that at his rallies. He was dead wrong on that, so he may not always have the best judgment…
Everyone here voting for Barrette didn’t learn the Roy Moore lesson from Alabama.
Yes, we did.
Which is why your Roy Moore job on her won’t work here.
Trump gave us the tea leaves on Barrette. I suggest everyone finally learn how he operates.
A vote for anyone else in the Primary is a vote against Victory
Posted on Truth Social, Statements by Donald J. Trump
“Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats.
She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party – and I will be behind her all the way.
Dr. Oz is the only one who will be able to easily defeat the Crazed, Lunatic Democrat in Pennsylvania. A vote for anyone else in the Primary is a vote against Victory in the Fall!”
Yeah, sure.
Those tea leaves on Romney and Graham and McConnell sure taste good now.
Oz IS vetted. And he’s a baby killing gun grabber that supports transiting children.
And McCormick is the Uniparty.
We here in PA are voting for our neighbor. Not PDJT’s neighbor who lives in North Jersey.
Watch the interview and ask yourself why Mastriano ran with her. I think you will find the answer.
I can’t stand that “she can’t win” BS…they said that about Trump.
Trump is a poor judge of character and he is why we have Romney instead of a MAGA candidate, Dr. Kennedy, who was just starting to gain on Romney and Trump killed his chances. Sorry, love Trump, but he needs to learn from past mistakes.
Like Sessions and Barr.
I’ll tap out and Come back around on this tomorrow
To me it seems Trump still believes that endorsing and praising of a candidate will incur loyalty in them to him later. Has it ever worked? Not to my knowledge.
You missed the part in the middle “She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party – and I will be behind her all the way.”
She has cleared up those items and she is only being vetted now because she caught Oz in the polls.
What I’m hearing Trump say is that if Kathy wins he’s support her. He didn’t say that about McCormick did he? As to her defeating Lamb or Fetterman, She’ll just be attacked in different ways then Oz or McCormick. Unlike them she’s actually been campaigning for a long time for this office.
Roy Moore went into hiding and no other candidate on the ticket associated with him.
That is NOT the case here.
Here’s to Kathy riding a horse to the voting station to cast her vote for herself!
The Roy Moore election was stolen, Moore was ahead but Jackson County did not finish counting its votes until the count was finished by all the other counties, then Jackson County had just enough votes for a Doug Jones win. Had Trump called this out and insisted on a signature match and investigation it would have been harder for the Democrats to use the same techniques against him.
The problem with the Roy More election began with Trump endorsing Luther Strange who was McConnell’s candidate, this was back when Trump and McConnell were honeymooning and letting McConnell pick Senate candidates and Federal judges. We should not forget that before Trump called out McConnell be endorsed McConnell for re-election.
McConnell’s slush fund attacked Brooks first, then turned on Moore. The only money McConnell’s slush fund paid for was to attack Republicans in the primary. There was no support to investigate false slanderous attacks against Moore. Senator Shelby would not even endorse Moore and Trump failed to support Moore as well.
the Governor Key Ivy says that there will be no stolen elections in Alabama, but she had no comments about the Roy More steal. She has lost my vote.
She has those dead Stacy Abrams eyes.
Idiot comment. You obviously did not spend any time watching the interview or thinking before posting that babble.
We have a lot of new posters here, brigading hired opinions from talking point lists. It happens here right in the weeks right before every election here. Then most of them are never heard from again.
And some others who cannot separate themselves from Fox News and the other establishment brainwashing outlets.
And then we have some outright cultists, who march along just like mindless leftists.
As I’ve mentioned a few times here recently, MAGA is a movement. It is not a cult of personality. PDJT is a fabulous President, but he is not “Dear Leader” to many of us.
Use your own, independent, critically-thinking brain. And vote with that. Not Trump’s, not Sundances, not Newsmax’s.
After previously stating he was not going to take any position on the Republican candidates for Senate in PA, Sundance decides to refer to the Barnette interview as “sketchy” and implies Barnette is sketchy.
I dunno why Sundance said one thing and did another. I expect he will clean up his mess later today.
Nope! No fox! CUT THE CORD!!
Not read this one sorry Sundance. On a great mood. Going to take fists to fix America.
I am not voting for Oz. I was leaning Barnette but if I change my mind, it will be for Carla Sands. Bartos doesn’t even have any of his positions posted on his website.
Watch the interview. What was sketchy?
I watched the interview and saw nothing sketchy about it. She didn’t name were she was adjunct professor, she said it was on her website. Guess what it is and a lot of other info about her.
If people want to really know about her do some research!
https://barnetteforsenate.com/things-you-want-to-know/
Fortunately, most of the “internet votes” here in threads like this one don’t matter. Especially those sent here to brigade the board with a hired opinion. The actual votes tomorrow from those of us living here in PA do. And many of us in PA have been around Kathy Barnette far longer than most of the people posting here.
There’s a reason Doug Mastriano is endorsing and campaigning side by side with Barnette, and not with Oz.
Yes, she was unpolished and a bit awkward on Faux News yesterday. So what? She is not running for news host.
And more importantly, she is not a slickly-polished out-of-state TV huckster who supports abortion, gun control, and transitioning children (Oz), or a professional machine politician right out of the Uniparty’s stable (McCormick).
And Barnette cleaned both their clocks during an actual debate. Which is why the Uniparty is sparing no effort to destroy her now. Because she has finally broken through as a potential national voice. And one they cannot control.
On the core MAGA issues that PA conservatives care about — the right to life, the right to bear arms, limiting government control, election integrity, and America First — she is head and shoulders above the others. She is not perfect. She is young, inexperienced, and a bit emotional. It is her strength (the debate), and her weakness (her tweets). She is more aligned to the average person in those respects, and behaves a lot like MTG that way. She is real. And she is the best MAGA pick.
For those whining that the GOPe won’t help Barnette in a general, or that she is “unelectable”, go take your Stockholm Syndrome and barricade yourself back into your bedrooms with Fox News. Rove, Hannity and Levin and more milk and cookies will make it better for you. The rest of us have moved on from that big, continuing psyop. Abusive wife syndrome is not for us.
The GOPe here hates Trump, too. They barely lifted a finger to help him here. And it was, and remains, the conservative grassroots that elects him, and will elect Barnette. And Doug Mastriano, too. Not Jake Corman and the big-wallet country club PA GOP clowns, and their out-of-state Uniparty friends. All the Uniparty has left here in PA is their vote fraud machine. And the fight against that continues. And it is the GOPe that is fighting us.
A black woman can’t win a general election? In Philly and Allegheny County? Against a white guy from Lancaster that pulls shotguns on innocent black joggers? You’ve got to be kidding. She also resonates with a lot of soccer moms in the critical Philly ring counties, because the strong aura of “mom” just radiates from her.
The ‘can’t win’ card is the GOPe’s desperation card against every outsider. And Barnette is an outsider. That is why the entire Uniparty Establishment machine is coming down on her. We here in the grassroots trenches laugh at the ‘can’t win’ canard, just like we laughed when they pulled it on Trump. Now, go watch us elect them.
The fact is, it is PDJT who is splitting the MAGA vote in the PA Senatorial primary. Not Kathy Barnette. Barnette has been here with us for a couple election cycles now. We know her. She fought Madeleine Dean in a rigged race that required national Democrat influence and resources at the end, and was beating Dean at 10:30 pm on election night, when the fraud arrived.
And after the 2020 steal, it was Kathy Barnette who sponsored numerous PA bus caravans to DC to protest it. It was Kathy Barnette who stood on the steps of the PA Statehouse, with hundreds of citizens, to protest the stolen PA vote. Not Oz. Not McCormick.
Oz doesn’t even live here, and just popped up in PA, like a phony jack-in-the-box over the last several months (after Sean Parnell, his last pick, imploded — and then defected to the Uniparty).
And Trump’s earlier Sean Parnell pick should tell you volumes. He’s now actively campaigning for the Uniparty. Another fraud.
By picking Oprah’s TV doctor, who doesn’t even live in PA, and who is PRO-ABORTION, PRO-GUN CONTROL, and PRO-GENDER TRANSITION FOR CHILDREN, PDJT is breaking from core MAGA principles. And confusing the base here.
Barnette is not vetted? Well Oz is vetted, and he stinks. It is a BAD PICK. ‘Winning’ by electing a pro-abortion gun grabber to US Senate is not winning. Oz is even to the left of Toomey, who most PA conservatives can’t stand, on these issues. We are done voting for fake conservatives here in PA. Trump endorsed Romney. Romney is a fake conservative. And we don’t want another Romney in PA.
And lastly, Sundance’s tweet, implicitly affirming PDJT’s pick of an expressly pro-abortion candidate, I find absolutely mind boggling.
Kathy Barnette is the only leading candidate that expressly declares the right to life as a fundamental element of her campaign, and said the same in 2020. PDJT is wrong. And so is Sundance.
PA conservatives are voting for Kathy Barnette. Because, unlike the others, she’s an actual conservative.
Great post! I wish I lived in Pennsylvania because I would be running to the polls to vote for Kathy Barnett.
Yes, my thoughts exactly, littleflower!
I was reading last night that she helped organize “Stop The Steal” transportation in 2020/2021? And she’s being billed as a Q-Anon-Big-Lie-Truther, as far as I can tell. *shrug emoji*
Wow! I don’t live in PA but you do and your words carry weight. Also, another sharp cookie’s opinion I respect is Jack Posobiec’s and he has fought hard for her and against Oz, using Oz’s own words against him.
I agree with oldersoul. Just one additional note. I live in Montgomery county PA. After the 2020 election Kathy knew all was not right. She went out and brought in Dr. Doug Frank. A well known Mathematican. They with volunteers went out and knocked 1600 doors. Findings were 32% phantom votes. Based on that information 79,000 votes in Montgomery county were phantom. Of course they would not let them do a full audit. Check out Dr. Frank on frankspeech.com.
This is why Doug Mastriano has endorsed her, all the work she’s done to fight the 2020 steal. It boggles the mind that the candidate she was fighting for didn’t endorse her.
Kathy is MAGA. I will be voting for her tomorrow. If any of the others win, I probably won’t vote for them in the general. I won’t vote for any establishment Republicans or Democrats. I’m finished playing that game. It’s what got us where we are now as a country. A bunch of establishment so-called Republicans who couldn’t even stand up and defend their own president by investigating the election.
^^^This!!!!^^^
Thank you. Very well said.
well put; no holds barred; didn’t smash the competition too hard; questioned PDJT’s decisions without disparaging him – nice job
A lot of anti Trump people here have finally shown their faces
You’re hilarious.
How many hours have you been posting here?
That’s BS, you can support Trump and being in PA have a clearer idea of what is going on. Trump himself has said he’ll support her so get over yourself.
I totally agree with everything you wrote. Especially “The GOPe here hates Trump, too. They barely lifted a finger to help him here. And it was, and remains, the conservative grassroots that elects him, and will elect Barnette. And Doug Mastriano, too.” I saw the absolute contempt for Trump locally from the GOPe. Toomey and the rest can’t stand him.
I agree with “The fact is, it is PDJT who is splitting the MAGA vote in the PA Senatorial primary. Not Kathy Barnette. Barnette has been here with us for a couple election cycles now.”
I don’t think Trump thought anyone but Oz might win and he listened to people outside of PA. I think Barnette surprised him but he’s about loyalty and won’t walk away from Oz.
Trump has thrown a nice curve ball to Barnette in his statement last week. “She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.”
At this point she is being vetted and explaining items from her past to many’s satisfaction.
I see that as Trump leaving the door open that he will support her if she wins the primary. It also is telling PA voters that he’s not going to be upset or surprised if she wins the primary! To me that’s like telling Kathy and her supporters to hit it out of the park, Trump is rooting for you.
Trump is tactically smart like that, and has done the same thing in other races.
But Oz was a strategic error. Now he has split the MAGA vote by his late injection of Oz, a candidate of very dubious ideological credentials.
Barnette has been here in PA pumping hard for MAGA for over three years. She was here first, and has built a devoted following that has been building momentum for many months. The debate was her breakout moment to a national audience.
PDJT has now disrupted that growing momentum, and it may lose the race for both of them. A major strategic error. He should have just held back after the Parnell debacle, and let the base decide. We were doing just fine sorting out these candidates.
The general is relatively easy this year. Fetterman has major racial baggage. The economy under Biden is in tatters.
Meanwhile, the Uniparty salivates and keeps throwing millions at their new robot, McCormick.
I don’t live in PA, but this post stimulated my curiosity. Kathy Barnette’s website has a page of answers to the questions Bream poses:
https://barnetteforsenate.com/things-you-want-to-know/
Satisfies me. Look for yourselves, especially if you live in PA.
I didn’t think it was sketchy at all. She should have just come right out and said how long she had been an Adjunct professor because the college confirmed it. She’s just not polished and the way she speaks to be honest it’s kind of like a woman. I see nothing wrong with her and if I was in Pennsylvania I would vote for her.
“Speaks kind of like a woman” 🤣
Can we please get rid of the 17th Amendment?
I completely disagree with Sundance here for the first time I can ever remember.
Accusing Barnette of a dodge or sketchy behavior by simply asking folks to go to her website where all the info they seek is posted is a much better way to stay on message and on offense than to allow an interviewer to ask attack questions designed to put you on defense.
She also explained the “Obama, Muslim, tweets pretty well. He may not claim to be a Muslim but remember his actions.
Perhaps Barnette is not the most refined “prime-time” candidate, but either you are representing #WeThePeople with a government “of, for, & by” the people or you are not.
Has anyone stopped to look at some of the maturity-challenged D-Senators lately? Falling for the double-standard setup here is disturbing.
Also, why has no one realized the level of attack on this woman is likely commensurate with the “minority female” demographic (Overton window) she would move as a black, Republican woman.
I am disappointed with this seemingly shallow and negative take from our friend, but I still love him.
Agree. Sundance erred and many will take him at his word and skip watching the interview.
I watch few clips, but that one I did not skip.
The cult of personality syndrome, with anyone, is a very dangerous habit.
Everyone makes mistakes. But only a mindless school swims into the net together.
Sundance is wrong here. And so is Trump. And that is simply my opinion.
Her being black won’t attract any black voters, and her being female won’t attract any female voters. But because some in the GOPe wrongly think along those lines, we have clowns like Tim Scott and Nikki Haley. Ask Clarence Thomas if him being black has ever in any way appeased the left. Thinking the gop should promote a certain candidate because he is black or she is female is basically accepting the left’s premise that the gop is racist. And it’s never worked and never will.
She has been visiting churches in Philly and has many people’s support.
I know Democrats who are finally leaving that party over abortion and are voting for her in the primary. It’s a big deal to change your registration from D to R if you’ve been one your whole life.
Yawn…
From afar , I would go with President Trump on this – She filibustered through a lot of it – perfect stealth splitter if you are a suspicious cat perhaps – can’t help thinking of O’Donnell in Delaware , stupid Moore in Alabama – Too bad Old crow McConnell and Rove spend all their brain cells on undermining R primaries , seems to be their only real interest or talent , but who knows
She responded to fire with fire. She handled it well.
And Bream knew nothing of the Fetterman shotgun incident? If that is not a damn lie Bream is beyond ignorant.
And Bream didn’t give the full Trump sentence that included him being willing to support Barnette. Just the first part question her integrity.
“She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.
That was one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen, ever
I thought Kathy handled it like a pro.
Someone please square the circle created by Doug Mastriano’s endorsement of her with Trump’s most recent endorsement of Mastriano after Trump endorsed Oz.
If you ride with Mastriano it seems to me Barnette should be your choice for Senate.
You have Doug Mastriano and Mike Lindell (and likely Steve Bannon) standing with Barnette.
You have Oprah (and the pro-abortion demons) standing with Oz.
You have Mitch McConnell and Karl Rove standing with McCormick.
Who would you stand with?
You said it.
Trump needs to stay out of the endorsement business.
I watched the interview and reviewed Kathy Barnette’s website. She is getting my vote even though Dominion will steal it back for one of the establishment RINOs.
Dominion is a concern here.
It stole her 2020 election in MontCo, along with PDJT’s.
And the PA GOP is fighting election integrity here, some think even harder than the Democrats.
What about the black fraud machine in Philly? Do you think they might come through for Kathy?
Likely not at the party level, as those people in the vote counting centers are all heavily vetted machine drones.
But there will be voters across the City who will vote for her, simply because Barnette is a black woman, and Fetterman is a white guy who pulled a gun on an innocent black man.
And the standard Democrat attack tricks won’t work on her. It is extremely dangerous in places like Philly to try and paint a black woman as a “racist”. The boomerang effect could be catastrophic. The Dems won’t touch her on that, or on her religious-driven opinions on homosexuality. There’s a reason Obama ‘over-performed’ in Philly.
Looks like the McConnell /Rove strategy working perfectly–people bickering over Oz or Barnette and the real evil POS snake McCormick slides in for the win. Please Pennsylvania, unite behind a candidate to beat McCormick!NO MORE McC’s!!
Just remember, it is PDJT splitting the MAGA vote here.
Barnette has been running since early 2021 here. She has been consistent, going all the way back to 2019, with PA conservatives.
Oz got dumped on us from North Jersey, by PDJT, just a few months ago.
After his first pick imploded and has since defected to the Uniparty (Parnell).
Older soul gets it
Yes. I’ve been following Kathy since the beginning.
I agree, but Trumps statement last week gives a mixed message. He didn’t condemn Kathy just questioned her. At this point she has cleared up and explained her stands and military record… so I don’t have any problem feeling like I’m going against Trump… because the vetting is now done. He literally OKed voting for her.
“She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.
Scottish Rites roots are deep. I should know.
Barnette is a fraud who spits out sound bytes and catchphrases designed to elicit anti-establishment emotions. Nothing more, nothing less. After the the primary she won’t even be a footnote in history.
For a second, I thought you were talking about Oz.
Oz will be the footnote when Evangelicals don’t show up for a pro baby killer!
Kathy has been out speaking and meeting people for over a year. Oz just shows up for a few photo ops here and there and then disappears.
Are you in PA? Do you have any idea of what we’ve gone through and how the GOPe has treated conservatives here?
How is calling Obimbo a muslin a bad thing?
At his core he is more accurately described as a Marxist but why quibble?
Sometimes defending the Deep State requires one to mention absurd comments.
The suggestion that Barnette’s candidacy merely serves to split the Republican vote and ensure an establishment or Leftist win is one that the Swamp has used for decades to cudgel Republicans into line.
As many have noted, it’s doubtful that we will vote ourselves out of the morass our timidity and indulgence has created. But it’s a certainty that our pre-surrender on the issue of selecting those people who represent our views will ensure that we remain stuck there. A robust contest where competing views contend should be seen as a hallmark of a healthy political system. The notion that only “electability” matters, with that being regularly defined, curiously enough, as voting for the establishment pick, gave us Romney and McCain as Republican standard-bearers, and would have given us the disaster of Jeb Bush vs. Hillary, rather than Donald Trump. It’s a variation of “hold your nose and vote for our candidate or be responsible for a Democrat victory,” and then going on to watch precisely that victory take place and being told, in hindsight, like Charlie Brown watching the football, “we’ll have more success next time.”
In Pennsylvania, a state where people turned out by the tens of thousands in hopes of carrying Donald Trump over the finish line (which they arguably did, if actual finish lines mattered any more), the Leftist Democrat attack machine will make mincemeat of Oz, who is no America first candidate. The Democrats will seem to be more MAGA than MAGA as they highlight his foreign connections in ways that Republicans are too timid to do. Oz is to the left of practically every Pennsylvania voter who will be stampeded into voting Dem or just staying home because they feel there is no real choice.
Have we not seen this game played before? Lucy van Pelt, is that you?
Barnette is surging for the same reason Trump did – she’s connecting with people where they are. Have we really learned nothing about how the game is played so that we’ll allow “mean tweets” to direct our hand? Enough is enough of this nonsense. Maybe voting itself, this late in the day of the crumbling of a great republic, is a pollyanish and quaint idea, but God is still on the throne. It’s not the swamp, it’s not the WEF, it’s not the globalists. Do the right thing, vote your conscience, trust in the Lord no matter what happens, and let no one gainsay you on your convictions, and you’ve done your duty as an American and, ultimately, God will give the increase.
Again, Barnette was here in PA fighting the MAGA fight since 2019. She announced a Senate run in early 2021.
PDJT dumped carpet-bagger Oz on us just a few months ago, completely disrupting a race that had been underway for over a year.
Oz is the splitter candidate. And he doesn’t even support what MAGA is about.
Good answer to all the comments about who the splitter is. Maybe President Trump didn’t realize he introduced the splitter. ???
If he’s that malleable by the GOPe then we need to do better.
I think Ms. Barnett answered like President Trump answers questions. He gets in what HE wants to say then in the end answers. I am not using PTrump’s method as I call it to say Barnett did ok here. I’m saying she did well because the whole interview was about answering things said against her!
These are general, evasive answers she gives to questions.
Go back to 2014 I think that is when she begins her cinservative journey. Says she moved to PA ‘9 or 10 years ago.’ Is it 9 or 10?
Contrast her evasiveness with Lt Gov Winsome Sears in Virginia when she was running in 2020. Opposition had nowhere to go to question her military record, hometown, etc. Not a sliver of daylight beteeen her records and her answers to the media and the people. Matched up.
Not so much with Barnette. That’s why I think people are skeptical.
However, Oz is no prize either and that plays into the people’s willingness to trust her like the devil you know is worse than the devil you don’t know.
Sorry for the typos.
barnettes military records are pretty clear.
Barnette listed items on her website in general terms. It was only when the two carpetbaggers and the media started nitpicking and questioning her that she expanded those items on her website.
She wasn’t vetted by anyone except the PEOPLE of PA and that’s why she rose in the polls enough to get the Swamp’s attention. They needed to squash her and threw everything they could at her hoping something would stick.
I’m in PA and I didn’t want either Oz or McCormick and was looking for another candidate. The attacks on Kathy have drawn attention to her and she has a good chance now to win because she has been vetted now and there are no unanswered questions.
For those griping about Club for Growth backing Barnette, I too was taken back by that for all of 2 seconds until realizing they are bankrolling the splitter strategy. Now who do you think CFG REALLY wants to win? Say maybe a certain hedge fund captain from CT named McCormick? Promote KB to siphon MAGA votes from the Trump endorsed Oz and let the globalist McCormick skate in.
Let’s be realistic, one of the top three are taking the nomination. Most conservatives puke at the thought of Oz winning. McCormick at best is an even trade for Toomey, another globalist wall street shill. And then there is Kathy Barnette. On Tuesday I am going with Barnette. I don’t see how she can be worse than the other two choices, and she was a Trump supporter since 2016 so Trump will quickly start singing her praises once she wins.
One final point to those saying she can’t win the general election. Really? Have you seen her opponent Fetterman? He is a friggin in-your-face pot head with racial issues that is sitting in the hospital following a stroke and heart problems. You think black Dems are gonna line up to vote for that guy? Read his history. If he wins, it will be from more mail in voting fun and games, and Philly ballot box stuffing, I don’t care which his opponent is.
The Club for Growth wants desperately a win against a Trump nominee. This is a false flag operation throwing all that they have against Trump. If Barnette loses, they win and if Barnette wins they beat Trump. Someone mentioned this is a Rovian strategy and I agree.
In this election, ignore their stench and vote for Barnette.
She is a double agent.
Yeah, that’s it.
And Putin pays for all her abortions, too.
If voting really worked we wouldn’t be allowed to do it.
Good point! But just in case, …
What would help is a populist platform to sort out where candidates stand.
Everyone talks about abortion, 2nd amendment, election integrity, building the border wall, or who can kiss Trump’s ring with the sloppiest wettest kiss.
They don’t want to talk about is unlimited aid to Ukraine or investigating deep state conduct leading up to the Russian response or what those involved with the Ukraine impeachment hoax did in Ukraine when Biden was Vice President, or why the same people are there stirring the pot again.
They don’t want to talk about abolishing government law enforcement agencies for constitutional abuses, reducing the deficit by cutting the bloated federal government, or taking away the power of a president to shut down energy production.
Not being from Pennsylvania, I have not followed this closely but it seems that Barnette has promised to vote against McConnell to remain in a leadership position and is opposed to the latest grifting bill disguised as a military aid package to help Ukraine in its loosing war with Russia that may collapse our economy.
in Alabama I have eliminated voting for candidates who: refuse to debate (Ivy, Britt, Duran), make claims for things they failed to do (Ivy – claiming that an election will never be stolen in Alabama, but Moore’s election was stolen), have worked as lobbyists advocating for tax increases (Britt), or lie about the voting records of opponents then claim to be a devout Christian (Britt).
was it william f. buckley that said ‘i’d rather vote for the first two hundred names in the phone book’.?
thats where i found barnettes name.
Kathy can and will win. Trump is keeping that option on the table. Don’t tell me she is some plant by the Dems.
Kathy Barnette will never be able to win the General Election against the Radical Left Democrats,” Trump stated, noting that she has “many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party—and I will be behind her all the way.”
I’m in PA, I can’t vote in the primary being registered as an independent . Think I’m gonna chance that Tuesday just to police the republicans .
If Barnette manages to win the primary , she has a good chance of winning the general election imho.
The people in Pa with a brain are fairly pissed since the plandemic started . Add in Biden , and the direction of our country , she can certainly win . Then you have the endorsement from Mastriano. He has become a well known person over the last two years fighting against the democrats . From lockdowns , to election fraud .
I hope OZ doesn’t win , I don’t trust the guy !
fetterman can’t beat barnette . black american’s won’t be voting for him. he’s got a past .
Long time ago when I was fresh out of school and looking for a decent job I used to go on a lot of job interviews. I learned to steer the interview away from any weaknesses in my background by taking the initiative and shifting the subject matter to particular strength, skill, or experience I can elaborate on.
Thats what I just saw in this interview. There are definitely a bunch of wholes in her background the enemy will exploit. Im no expert but I can easily see what she doesnt want to talk about. She should have a solid response on those issues already but she does not. She trys to change the subject and maybe that is her only defense.
Trump is very sincere about Oz. I think hes learned much about the people he chooses to surround him. In the world of the swamp, Trump is literally the only one I trust.
So, did you get the job? And did you give the job all your best for the company?
I inevitably got a job. I did a good job.
People see how Kari Lake handles herself and anything that’s thrown at her. She’s beyond sharp, strong, and has the benefit of all that tv experience. She believes and says all the right things. That’s the standard when you choose a high office as your first rodeo. Barnette says a lot of good things that resonate with people. I just think she has bitten off more than she can chew. She should set her sights on Mastriano’s vacancy.
Trump thinks Oz can win. What I don’t understand is why he didn’t save himself all this drama and just run as a democrat.
I disagree with Sundance writing “. Unfortunately, Barnette did not do well in this interview.” Normally I think you have great insight and are seeing the big picture. Too many people from out of PA are involved in this election starting with OZ and McCarthy!
As a PA resident and voter, I think she did fine. No stumbling over her words and got her points across. Yes she didn’t name the College, but said it was on her website which it is. That may have been a tactic to drive people to actually spend a few minutes getting to know her.
The interviewer quoted Trump, but didn’t even finish the sentence because it was positive about Kathy.
“She has many things in her past which have not been properly explained or vetted, but if she is able to do so, she will have a wonderful future in the Republican Party — and I will be behind her all the way.”
It’s clear the media didn’t do there homework in regards to the lesser candidates and just focused on the top two Carpet Baggers who are GOPe and Swamp because those are the ones were they don’t care which one actually wins.
In the past couple of weeks, I’ve been talking to people about this race and I’ve been amazed at how many people have met Kathy and like her over the top two. That is why she has surged, she’s showing she’s an alternative to the Swamp. A lot of people don’t want those two ‘men’ as Kathy politely called them, they want an alternative.
Oz brought up her 20 point loss in the race a couple of years ago… well she is in an area that is Democrat +10 so a 20 point loss wasn’t surprising!
Kathy hammered home that she was at all the Debates and Forums and Oz and McCarthy only did a few and skipped the rest. Maybe that’s why she’s joined the two leaders who have spent $60 million?
It was also interesting that the interviewer didn’t know about the Fetterman gun incident, I’m in PA and I certainly did!

Maybe Barnette is plant, but I know what Oz and McCarthy are and I can only hope and pray she’s the real deal.
As to her chances against Fetterman or Lamb, she’s done some homework on them and has actually lived in PA for years longer than those two Swamp creatures.
Fetterman’s recent stroke may come into play in the primary, and it certainly will likely cut down on his activity if he wins the primary. I wonder how many people have already voted by mail for him!
Wow – read the NBC report on Fetterman.
I do not fault him for what he did but can you imagine the reporting if Fetterman was not a Dem??? This incident would be being rehashed 24/7 during this campaign.
