WE, the “Republican base” have been betrayed by the “Republican party leadership”, both in and out of Congress, for my whole 65 years.
We called them “Rockerfeller Republicans” when they torpedoed B. Goldwater, a populist candidate, in ’64.
Then we called them “Country Club Republicans”, and they opposed Reagan, which is largely why it took him 3 tries, to get the nomination.
And, they stuck him with Bush, as V.P., seeded his admin with Bushies, constantly undermining him, etc.
They got away with it, all these years because a significant part of the base was unaware, and another significant part WAS aware, but kept falling for the same old schtick; at election time, they would campaign on “strong military, smaller government, less taxes” and rig the primaries to defeat any primary challengers, and “in the end, vote for the R, cause they are at least better than the D” a call to ‘team unity’.
I think that schtick is no longer working, hopefully we will NOT see (as we have seen traditionally) only 25 percent turn out in primaries, which just like in the general makes it much easier to cheat with low turn out, much harder with BIG turnout.

Unfortunately, election fraud has been happening for a long time. Many years ago, it tended to be in urban precincts run by Democrat machines, and isolated places here and there. Common variety ballot stuffing and vote buying.
But I think this stuff started to beoame organized strategy with the concurrent loss by Bush I in ’92 and the internet. And electronic voting machines to counter the supposed problem with “hanging chads” in 2000. Then clearly there was a problem in the 2016 election given but the Dems were surprised by the anti-Obama et al. sentiment and numbers of real votes for Trump.
Also do not forget 2018 midterms in which “somehow” House seat after seat turned from Republican lead to Democrat, particularly in California. Rampant fraud.

The unasked and un-reported upon question is…how many crossovers or will the unhappy Democrats just vote for a new “promising” Democrat Face as is the history of democrats.

Nearly every state (red or blue) has very large, very blue urban areas. Add on that the open-air vote fraud that has gone completely unaddressed and you have a simple system of determining outcomes in-spite of actual votes cast in most states.
As an example, look at Illinois which has 102 counties, nearly all of them very red. You need 3 – 5 certain counties to win statewide offices. The vote fraud out of Cook County alone is enough to swing the entire state in most election cycles.
In these rural counties, 70% of 20,000 votes ain’t much when the Chicago-metro area is 9M people voting 55/45 blue to red legitimately. Add on that the illegal voting and you can’t out-vote the fraud. Nearly every state has a similar situation.
We are watching our country being taken from us right in the open. No more “dark-shadows” stuff as it’s in plain sight.
Thank God for the people exposing the fraud as they have. They are taking an incredible personal risk. Watching the GOP try to worm away from all of this is also very worthwhile. No more hold-your-nose-and-vote. Not ever again.

We’re in Clark County Nevada (Las Vegas area). We were one of the Swing States that mysteriously froze the election counts when Trump was leading in the 2020 election. We have a Dem-controlled County Commission, Dem-controlled Elections Dept, Dem Governor, Dem Majority legislature, 2 Dem US Senators, 3 out of 4 Dem US House Representatives and Dem Attorney General. They used mail-in voting, ballot harvesting and no voter ID in 2020, and then just mandated it to be full-time mail-in voting and ballot harvesting for all future elections, with, of course, the continued use of Dominion electronic voting machines as well. With 100% Dem controlled elections, we’re finding it very difficult to be optimistic about any non-Dem candidate to win anything (except perhaps a token board seat here and there to give the illusion that the vote counts aren’t rigged).

No one who is really in power on the Left really believes that it’s a good idea to destroy the created sexual order, or to refuse to prosecute crime, or to have open borders and bring in tens of millions of illegals, or to print so much currency that you have hyperinflation, or to send all our manufacturing to China, or to spend billions on a pointless and unwinnable war in Ukraine. The purpose of all this is to destroy the present civilization to make way for their Leftist utopia.

I utterly despair at the posters here who dismiss the Democrats as stupid or crazy.
They have a very clear vision of the world. It fails in practice , it always fails in practice. So what?

Well if the “feature” is a disposal fool, the “flaw” is that they are not going to be held accountable and it could ultimately prove to be “fatal” for the Democratic party.
First if you only won 6% of the counties it is hard to imagine that you received 85 million votes and hold the crown for most popular president ever.
Second the percentage numbers they are showing are fabricated. It is far worse for them and far better for us.

It seems they really just don’t care if they are losing voters. They have the power in Washington and in many of the larger states.
