My gut tells me that if this war were a natural occurrence, Putin would have, by now, given an address to the world WITH HIS CONDITIONS for withdrawal, whatever they may be. This, to me, is a biggie. Also Biden, or his surrogates, would be speaking (not in campaign mode), but rather of US or NATO conditions for a ceasefire.
Again, ordinarily, the major actors would be competing in the court of public opinion for the world to see their point of view. Yet, these main players don’t seem to be interested in a cease fire, nor in winning world opinion to their side, OR EVEN GAINING A NEGOTIATED SETTLEMENT OF THIS DISPUTE.

When we read countless FAKE stories and see countless faked pictures … maybe the folks providing that fake evidence can help you understand why “NOTHING” is being done.
I think you will go from genuine concern about war victims to hot anger over people yanking your chain if you spent a few hours here scanning over the many articles dealing with this Ukraine invasion. There are tons of photographs from left and right media sources, many you’re probably already familiar with, that will point out what is NOT going on.
A no-fly zone is extremely expensive to set up and maintain, esp fuel. Wear and tear of aircraft to maintain a high level alert over a no-fly zone is challenging, and few countries could do this for long.
A no-fly zone over a region can be difficult to sustain over a long period; such a zone over an entire country would be daunting.
NATO countries, with few exceptions, haven’t been abiding by their funding and manpower agreements for decades, so while Russian forces are not at Cold War levels, NATO isn’t up to par either, esp after years fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Shooting down aircraft, esp military aircraft, is an act of war. If we would shoot down a Russian military aircraft, Putin will claim the high ground of being attacked and use it as justification to escalate.
And finally–we don’t want to do anything. With Covid receding as a weapon to control people with fear, TPTB need a new boogeyman to blame for the world’s ills (their failures and corruption)–a new weapon to spread fear and increase calls for government to protect us from big-bad Putin. Although the Iraqis did not dispute the DIA’s claims on Iraqi soldiers killed and wounded, the Iraqis claimed 45,000 civilians were killed by allied bombing. So somewhere between 3,000 and 45,000 civilians were killed. Probably closer to 3,000, but who knows.
And then there was the Second Gulf War with the “Shock and Awe” on Baghdad….
At least so far, Putin has a long way to go before he catches up with the two Bushes.

Putin places this huge convoy near Kiev. Ukraine must defend the capitol so it keeps a vast majority of its military in and around Kiev and other major cities/towns in the West of Ukraine.
Which means……Ukraine CANNOT support the Azov battalion (Ultra Right nationalists) fighting the Russians in the East.
All Putin wants is the Russian half of Ukraine (the East). He only has to fight the Azov battalion and other militias to achieve his objective. Hence why we see conflict videos from the cities in the East only. hardly any in the West (except for the ruckus created by the Russian special forces).

The vast majority of the Uke military (trained and supplied gov’t forces 60-80,000) are in Donetsk and Luhansk getting their asses kicked hard.
Azov’s are in the same situation.
The convoy is waiting until those 3 areas are sufficiently pacified (a lot of dead Uke regulars and Azov) so that they can’t fall back to Kiev to defend and prevent a rear attack on the convoy as it encircles Kiev.

Zelenskky has supposedly armed almost every remaining adult (18-60) Ukrainian with AK-47’s, Molotov cocktails and so on but every reported civilian death is a war crime. Zelenskky’s widely publicized policy to arm his untrained citizens clouds the separation between combatant and innocent citizen. His daily briefings to the world are losing their impact.
Even with “surgical strikes,” unfortunate citizens have been killed and often in huge numbers in all recent wars like Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and as far back as we can recall. ie. WW II Bombings and carpet bombing, Agent Orange and napalm in Vietnam etc. That’s why “war” should always be a last resort and why it has a special meaning that is never anything like the modern fantasy that TV pundits claim is possible. Peace is the only way to achieve that.

Zelensky isn’t the good guy here, Putin already won but people can’t see that, especially the zombies who feed from the MSM information trough. He’s in the mop up phase of his operation and it doesn’t matter how loud Zelensky screams for intervention from NATO it’s not going to happen.
There will not be a WW3 as much as some warhawks in the West are salivating over the idea. NATO isn’t going to fight and neither will Biden be allowed to push US forces into direct confrontation with the Russians.

So, here we have a plane that has been used only five or six times since its construction in 1980, of which once to transport two young girls from Tchernobyl. This plane is equivalent to three football fields.
Then… I thought who would want to get rid of that useless aircraft? And I thought how much does the Ukrainian government pay in insurance fees and upkeep fees for this useless idle aircraft.

What was so interesting was the entire plane was a black, smoking, burnt mass, except for the nose cone which was perfectly intact, no paint scratched, clearly identifiable as the Mriya.

You can’t have a no-fly zone if you don’t take out all the surface to air missiles the Russians have in Ukraine. The Russians would probably put some of the surface to air missiles near civilian locations like water plants, hospitals, and electric plants too. Do you think NATO is going to bomb them and wipe out vital things the Ukranian people need?
And the surface to air missiles in Belarus and Russia can easily take out planes enforcing the no-fly zone in Ukraine. The NATO pilots would be target practice unless they could remove the surface to air missile sites in Ukraine and Belarus and Russia. NATO would have to send soldiers into Ukraine to rid the country of the surface to air missile sites.
A no-fly zone would instantly lead to WWIII.
