The Canadian government may indeed win the battle after they triggered the national Emergency War Measures Act. However, all that has been seen cannot be unseen by a citizenry now witnessing the severity of their police state. Prior to the freedom protest, the detention fences and government guard towers were invisible. The rumors of their totalitarian state was scoffed at as conspiracy theory and ignored.
Now, the watchtowers are being seen by everyone… and many Canadians will sleep less comfortably knowing they are subject to the arbitrary whims of the dictators who have power and promised to confiscate their wealth for wrong-think. What is interesting about the Police Chief’s resignation is just last week he said he absolutely would not resign. So what changed?
Possibly the state police badly damaging several pieces of the Truckers large equipment, about $50,000 in damages from what I read.
Then there is the state police “framing’ the Truckers at the same location, saying they have guns despite the local Mayor saying that the persons with the guns had no relationship with the Truckers.
All of this took place at the bridge the Truckers peacefully left after thanking the local police and bringing them dinner.
Lastly according to a video posted by the Truckers they have been told by credible sources that weapons were going to be planted among the Truckers in Ottawa.
I see the state police as out of control and this Chief wanting to put a lot of distance between him and whatever is happening and about to happen.

Is it possible for these tow truck drivers to “close” their business for a period of time? I know it would be a huge financial loss, but I also know their future earnings are with these Truckers. Can they “lay-off their drivers” and claim they are unable to comply?
