Let this serve as yet another example of how police units will respond to carry out the orders of government officials regardless of what laws, limits or duties ordinary citizens may project upon them.
When told to load YOU into the cattle cars, or fire upon any resistance effort, every single police officer will follow orders; and they will execute those orders with extreme prejudice, without distinction for constitutional limitations. The fuel supplies were confiscated by tactical police officers, loaded into government trucks and removed from the area.
We waited to post this update to see if any resistance voice would come from within the Canadian government. Do you see a single voice of political opposition? No. That should answer every question.
As we saw in Poland circa 1981, the only tyrannical resistance that is likely to be successful (in the long term) is a full worker strike in the same manner as the Solidarity movement. Until the governing elites, and their political supporters, feel the same level of pain as the ordinary working class felt during the lockdowns, do not expect anything to change.

This guy, Steve Lehto, is an attorney in MI and does a lot of discussions on cases that are in the “news”. He does a great job explaining them from a legal perspective. I stumbled across him a few months ago and have watched a quite a few. For some backstory on civil asset forfeiture, search him and Mooresville police dept. He has a few more videos on civil asset forfeiture that’ll make your blood boil.
The video posted below talks about how the San Bernardino Co. Sheriff’s Dept pulled over an armored vehicle and confiscated ~$700,000 the first time and ~$300,000 the second time under civil asset forfeiture. These armored vehicles were taking cash from marijuana dispensaries legally operating under California law to the bank. They took the cash and then turned it over to the FBI to do the civil asset forfeiture under federal law. If the feds are successful, the SBSO will get 80% of the money.
You gotta watch this video, the intricacies are too many to type out that will give them justice. It’s a prime example of how law enforcement agencies will do things they know are wrong on technicalities to get money, essential legal armed robbery. How the DOJ will ignore there own memorandums and how the judicial system will bend over to favor the DOJ.
We can argue all day long whether marijuana is good or bad, but at the end of the day these business owners were operating a legal business under state law and a “local” law enforcement agency used BS reasons to pull over and confiscate cash in order to turn over to feds to prosecute it (the cash) under federal law.

I spent my entire adult life working in public safety. I would always favor the police side of the story based on my interactions with “criminals” and how they clearly lied about the facts; however, I’m now seeing how a lot of police officers will push the bounds of laws for their (our dept’s) own gain without regard to the affect it has on people’s lives. It’s not about serving the community and ensuring we have a civil society anymore for a lot of law enforcement, rather it’s about how can we generate revenue: speed traps, civil asset forfeiture, over the top parking enforcement, etc.

Hi Dixie. It looks like the police took purple gas. In some Canadian provinces, gas used in farming is not taxed (provincially). The way they tell which gas is not taxed is to dye it purple. I don’t think the City of Ottawa views the Freedom Convoy as an expression of agricultural endeavor. So, if they found out about purple gas, they can grab it and let the courts decide.

Somewhere out there, the leader we desperately need is already alive and seeing whats happening and starting to ask the right questions. I frankly do not think it is Trump at this point. He served an important role in getting us here – reminding the world that the matrix exists, if you will… but he seems pretty uninterested in standing at the front of the en masse marches and protests and shut downs that are long past due.

The problem for the fascist government is that these assemblies can spread everywhere. The truck assemblies are a statement, but the economic disruption they cause is real and will leave a mark. That’s what will move the fascists to negotiate, when the populace starts noticing the disruption.
ASAP they must start choosing the large, strategic crossing points btn former USA and CAnada.
The truckers are allowing passage at the Montana crossing, last I heard, but just not moving cargo is an economic disruption. As long as the truckers hold, they can wear down the fascists.
Next move might be to get corporate interest to speak out, like that towing company did. Grocery stores? Fuel companies?

The backup plan could be very simple. Fuel trucks will only deliver to Ottawa fuel stations as long as they can deliver to the truckers downtown. No fuel downtown no fuel to autogas stations.
They can use the same type of small fueling trucks that are use to service heavy farm of land clearing equipment. A 1000 gal propane truck can fuel cooking areas and individual 4.5 gal 20pound tanks for individual trucks.

There are only a limited number of border crossings from US to Canada maybe 6 major ones. “Peacefully” blocking truck traffic through those for a week or two would probably cause a lot of pain. (Gas stations not getting fuel, store shelves starting to empty, GM divisions shutting down with no parts from USA to Canada or from Canada to USA). You are then getting into civil disobedience and these guys are risking getting arrested, having their truck confiscated, and losing their income.
This is EXACTLY what I have proposed is the next phase. The protest in the capital has run it’s course. Ideally fuel up, start up and disburse. Live to fight another day by disrupting supply chains.

There’s a problem with the current predicament that nullifies that option. The goal here is to destroy the economies and social fabric of first world countries, otherwise known as western civilization, and to come in to save them with a new system when the time is ripe.
