Video from Ottawa shows heavily armed tactical police units move in to take fuel supplies from the Canadian Truckers during their Freedom Protest.
Let this serve as yet another example of how police units will respond to carry out the orders of government officials regardless of what laws, limits or duties ordinary citizens may project upon them.
When told to load YOU into the cattle cars, or fire upon any resistance effort, every single police officer will follow orders; and they will execute those orders with extreme prejudice, without distinction for constitutional limitations. In the era of COVID compliance, all police officers are jackboot security agents of the authoritarian state. Conduct your affairs accordingly.
The fuel supplies were confiscated by tactical police officers, loaded into government trucks and removed from the area.
We waited to post this update to see if any resistance voice would come from within the Canadian government. Do you see a single voice of political opposition? No. That should answer every question.
As we saw in Poland circa 1981, the only tyrannical resistance that is likely to be successful (in the long term) is a full worker strike in the same manner as the Solidarity movement. Until the governing elites, and their political supporters, feel the same level of pain as the ordinary working class felt during the lockdowns, do not expect anything to change.
Stop cooking, cleaning, serving, assisting, delivering, facilitating or supporting the lives of the people within the ruling class. Shut it down. All of it. Shun, isolate and ridicule those who are guards for the totalitarian state. Then, perhaps, things might change.

IMO, these truckers do not have a goal of starving the people of Ottowa (or anywhere else). We are sitting in the cheap seats projecting that. My guess is they are prepared, will remain peaceful and will withdraw on their timeline.

One of the organizers says the “raid” at Camp Coventry on Sunday was a photo-op to appease the Ottawa citizens, mostly government employees, that the police were doing their job. They confiscated what he calls “purple gas” or “farm fuel” that is not allowed in the city. Thank you Sundance. I have been calling for actions such as this for some time now. Stop spending any money on anything that does not feed or house you and your family. The threat of the affect this would have on the economy would bring the government to their knees.
The next step would be for a day/date certain that if they fail to eliminate the mandates then on the date chosen no one goes to work or engages in “any” economic activity. That would include anyone who supports the movement to restore freedom!
I would bet that either one of these two actions would bring the government to its knees.

How is passive resistance via a boycott violent? The goal is to change the minds of politicians who answer to the people. Truckers are the circulatory system of the body politic. There isn’t an item in Ottawa that wasn’t delivered by truck. Imposing a inconvenience on the politicians and populace by forcing them to go out of the city to obtain supplies is a non-violent but effective long term strategy that minimizes the odds of confrontation. The current demonstration is already curtailing the supply chain as streets are gridlocked save a lane for emergency vehicles. Let the government try to deliver on their promises by themselves for a while. And, if anything, the current demonstration is more confrontational than a boycott as demonstrators seek food and fuel to remain in place as LE obstructs their efforts creating anger. Without adequate pressure the demonstration is doomed as the government attempts to wait them out.
I say, let the truckers handle this. They’ve been doing ok so far without us.

It sounds like the fuel they took was “purple gas”. In Canada, untaxed gasoline used in farming is dyed purple. You can only use that gas for farming purposes. If purple gas ended up in the logistical chain supporting the truckers, someone could be charged and the courts used to decide whether it was appropriate or not.

Government and police trying to force a violent protest in what has been a peaceful and well-organized protest. In many respects, I think they underestimated the character and the raw courage of the truckers and all those involved in the protests…truckers, farmers, and private citizens.

At this point, the truckers should peacefully leave the craven city of Ottawa.
There should be a national strike. It’s sad that it has come to this because now everyone suffers.

As far as what the truckers “should do”, I’m going to trust them. They have proven themselves, to me anyway, they are far superior to anyone else on our side.

On one of the links to the videos on twitter, I saw a thread within that post. Apparently, someone tried to start a fire in one of the apartment buildings in Ottowa. The individual posting the thread is essentially accusing someone from the convoys for attempting to start the fire. This smacks of antifa, hijacking a lawful protest and turning it violent in order to provoke a confornation that would end in the police then being ‘justified’ to go in and forcibly remove everyone. What was most scary, the video footage clearly shows someone’s face – have the Ottawa police tried to track that person down yet? Not likely. Be careful out there you marvelous people. The authorities will do ANYTHING to stop you.
To be fair …. the seizure of fuel is consistent with Trudeau’s goal of a “Net Zero” future … FREE from ANY fossil fuels. Yes … The State will seize your fuel and your power … to “save the planet”. And you’ll LIKE it!

In WW2 they used small but effective resistance…… like water in fuel…puncturing tires…draining engine oils……. which seem slight but will incapacitate security vehicles that are left unattended…
It is a similar modern day weapon (like wounding prisoners in war rather than killing them to make them a liability to your enemy)
Truckers know how disable vehicles easily…. and if police cannot move their vehicles ….. they have no power in those conditions…..

Those rigs will have the same affect if they are parked in front of their drivers houses, better ‘working’ condition and the country comes to a halt. Two weeks with no food and gasoline should get the people out to downtown Ottawa quick.
Keep trying. Every time you and one of your ilk try to this tactic of Go Home, we will mock you. Separation kills, literally. They need to stay as a team, a group, a community. The desired effect is still the same.

What this says to me is that Trudeau et. al. know they have lost. This is their dying attempt to show their power but it is just making them look weaker and weaker while strengthening the movement. The mayor of Ottawa has admitted the protestors are calling the shots. That government is DEAD. I agree with Sundance. Counter move-shut the entire country DOWN!
Probably a foolish question, but were there any warrants issued by any court for these actions?
