Global News is reporting on a slow moving vaccine protest by truckers at the Manitoba, Canada-U.S border crossing.
(Global News) – […] “Truck drivers are circling MB-75 between Emerson Duty Free and the Commercial Inspection station blocking all lanes heading south to the United States and Northbound traffic coming from the USA,” Throp said.
In a video sent to Global News by Dawn Davey, trucks can be seen slowly driving on Hwy. 75 and horns are blasting. (read more)
The Canadian vaccine mandate for cross-border truck drivers began Saturday, January 15. The U.S. vaccine mandate for cross-border truckers begins January 22nd.
As a retired truck driver DO NOT GIVE IN TO THESE TYRANTS!
10/4 Driver!
Oops can’t deliver to Washington DC or Delaware or NYC or LA…., I just ran out of gas, sorry, not sorry!
Shut it down truckers shut it all down! A lot of hard lessons need to be learned.
I personally would love to see it. Just for a week..
I personally think it would get a lot of peoples heads out of their ….
Also show a lot of people a way bigger picture. 🤷🏼♂️
YES!!! let this finally be the Rubicon.
Yes shut it down I’m willing to suffer just to get it done, as long as it takes, to starve these brain dead liberals…
Let’s see what happens when 30,000 US truckers start a “Convoy” all headed directly to DC. Something tells me if that were to happen, there’d be more than just “Crashing The Gate Doing 98”
Would all of them be loaded with ‘all natural’ fertilizer generated by domestic animals that has cooked in the back of the trucks while driving cross country?
Now you are talking! Dump it all as close to the Whitehouse as they can get.
Be careful. They’d love to arrest you for something. You aren’t Antifa , after all.
East bound and down!
I’m east bound, just watch ol’ Bandit run!
Yeehaw!
Me too!
Those stupid “progressives” who believe goods just magically appear in their favorite stores are in for a serious shock and I think it’s hilarious!
stupid “progressives” = AOC
I hope they shut down every major highway in this country, especially major highways leading into D RAT controlled cities. Truckers could destroy China Joe in a week.
I agree 100% that the anti-American global communists are pushing to get the people of this country to provide them with ‘justification’ for imposing Federal emergency measures. ‘They’ are all narcissistic sociopaths and psychopaths that actually believe they are destined to win. If the American people do not cooperate in providing the ‘justification’ ‘they’ feel is needed then that justification will be fabricated.
For the Government to attempt a take over from trucker would discover thousands of disabled Tractors!!!! only a screwed up liberal Democrat would dare think in that direction !!!!
Oh, we must be be careful! We don’t want to upset TPTB!
Go ahead and activate the National Guard. I don’t think the majority of Governors or TAGs would be so willing to do the bidding of this administration. Nope, it’s time to (wo)man up. Stop making excuses. As Betty White once said: “Why do people say “grow some balls”? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.”
Do we need truckers to shut down anything?? The mandates and restrictions were DESIGNED to shut everything down. Economic collapse and unrest is the roadmap of the Great Reset.
Seems the real protest would be to disregard the mandates and keep the products flowing. Let the tyrants resort to threats and violence to stop the flow of essential goods. Show their real intentions.
What’s the right move? Not sure, but for optics, “shut it down” may not be a good strategy. Gives too much ammunition for media to spin the hardship blame onto unvaxxed truckers.
…………..’to disregard the mandates and keep the products flowing’, seem like a very clever idea, indeed.
Puts the onus of shutting it all down on the illegal white house usurper. Thank you for your brilliant post!!!
Agreed, if the truck drivers proceed as normal and just get denied entry so the border backs up it will force the topic and optic of having supplies within reach while the stores are empty. Maybe someone would send in Tim Kaine to resolve another 20hr traffic jam?
This whole pandemic, I’ve been thinking about how the freight train we’re on could be stopped. I believe truckers are the one group that can get the attention needed. When stores have no food, gas stations have no gas, and highways are blocked, MAYBE 🙏🏻
We might have a hard time getting fresh and frozen vegetables for a while.
So besides canned vegetables and canned vegetable soup, I also ordered some “Bear Creek” dry soup mix that has vegetables in it, such as their “Minestrone” soup mix. Hopefully that will supply some non-perishable vegetables.
I just wish canned and dried soups didn’t have so much sodium! You can’t rinse the sodium out of soups, like you can rise it off of canned green beans.
You can dilute it by adding water, and other vegetables and meat, then freeze it in whatever holds liquid, Ziploc bags, etc. A can of Progresso makes a good base for more potatoes, broccoli, carrots and water, or hold the water until you go to eat it, then stir it in. (Disclosure: Not a real cook, just a survivor (so far).)
😂👍👍
If you had the ‘other vegetables’, you would not be in this pickle.
Bbyrd never even mentioned cucumbers. 🥴
I dont think he said he was in any kind of dilemma.
Freeze dried or dehydrated vegetables, no added sodium. I’ve used them a lot to make backpacking meals instead of buying the expensive, sodium laden pre-made ones. You can find easily online.
Or dehydrate your own – fresh, frozen or canned (no or low sodium). Lots of instructions on the internet using either an electric dehydrator (simply ones are inexpensive) or the oven. Some fruits & veggies are better freeze dried, Harmony House is my go to source.
Get in before the trucks stop delivering
A long time ago I was told that adding a peeled potato to the soup would absorb salt. Don’t recall if it had to be precooked or if it was added raw.
I just pulled up sight that explains that the potato does absorb the salt. It had a picture of a pot with a raw potato cut up in it.
good idea…
My mom always added potato to sauerkraut to absorb the extra salt, I still do.
Raw. My dad did that when he over salted his homemade soups. It’ll be fully cooked when it’s time to take it out.
I’d cut the potato in half – remove it before it falls apart though.
Just the facts please, I really like the small soup mixes from Manischewitz. The dried vegetable, split pea and minestrone soup mixes are really delicious. Each 6 oz. package, serves 5 one cup servings. Publix carries these soup mixes and they cost a bit over $2. Each. They are found in the Jewish food section.
Throw in a whole potato and it will absorb some of the salt
Soup and meats like bacon and salami. Eggs keep a long time as well
All my veggies for the year are down stairs in cans. Shut ir down
All I got canned this summer was jam. Hope we don’t end up with nothing but jam.
Get some bread and peanut butter, you’re good to go!
Potatoes absorb salt. Put in a whole peeled potato and let it cook while the dried soup is cooking. Remove the potato and discard.
I don’t know first hand how well this works but I’ve always read that if something is over salted potatoes reduce it.
Fresh eggs can be left at room temperature for almost 2 weeks. They may last longer but, we are usually 3 – 7 days behind laying time depending on eggs per day. Just dont wash the bloom off before you are ready to use them. After washing good, the shells can be baked, (dried), powdered and used as a calcium supplement, (dont use store bought egg shells, they are covered in a thin polymer or shellac)
Thank you everyone, for your ideas.
I just had another idea: Rinse the extra salt out cans of peas, corn, and string beans. Then mix them with a can of “Italian Style” stewed tomatoes. (The “Italian Style” adds good-tasting herbs and spices.) Add some cooked rice, or a rinsed can of navy beans.
Refrigerate the mixture for a day, to make the flavors more mild. Then heat it up, and optionally top it with grated parmesan cheese from a shaker jar. This would make be soup with lots of vegetables, with not much sodium.
Those ingredients don’t have to be refrigerated, so I can stock up on them. And I think they’d taste better combined like that, than in separate piles of canned peas, canned tomatoes, etc. on my plate.
When I accidentally add too much salt or hot pepper to a recipe, I throw in a couple of potatoes to soak up seasonings.
Leave the canned soup on the shelf – you need a stock pot, take a chicken, remove the skin, add a carton of chicken broth, an onion, diced carrots, beans, celery, zucchini, potatoes, broccoli, some soup mix & pepper to taste, more water to cover vegetables, simmer for a few hours, let cool, remove the bones, separate the chicken meat, add back to the pot, salt to taste & divide into portions for your freezer.
it is an easy, hearty, healthy meal that is delicious.
We do the same after we have eaten most of the meat off our turkey at Thanksgiving – just use the carcass & Turkey broth instead.
Work to the rules.
Breaker, Breaker, Rubber Duck. We got ourselves a convoy!

Don, Sing along with the Truckers…
“….but I didn’t have a doggone dime…we ain’t a gonna pay no toll…so we crashed the gate doing 98…let them truckers roll, 10-4″….
10-4 good buddy!
“Hey there where ya goin’
Not exactly knowin’
Who says you have to call
just one place home?
He’s goin’ everywhere
B.J. McKay and his best
friend Bear”
Good luck, Godspeed, and watch out for those Vax Smokies!
Sand in the gears! Gotta’ LOVE ’em!
I just bought 2 huge hams and put them in the freezer.
This is not a punchline to a joke, ladies and gentlemen.
I did that too! Along with two whole turkeys.
Potato & ham bake – can be frozen. Oil a large Corning Ware dish, slice to less than 3/8” thick, whole potatoes on the bottom, I use Red Potatoes & leave the skin on, next a layer of sliced ham, then add onion rings to taste, another layer of sliced potatoes, ham & onion rings, then a layer of sliced fresh tomatoes, pour a 1/2 cup of cream over the prepared dish, a thin cover of breadcrumbs & some grated Parmesan Cheese & Pepper on top.
Bake, cool & divide for freezer.
i always divide my ham before freezing it, that way I can just take out portions.
Split pea & ham soup too – okay, I’m off to the kitchen, but I already have a lot of home made frozen meals in my freezer – Chili, Beef & Vegetable Casserole, Baked Ziti & soup.
Here is Freedom Convoy 2022 – BC Organizer – Colin B. Valentim speaking:
Everyone is invited to take part in this protest drive across Canada, even if all they do is wave from the overpasses.
Can’t go to Canada right now, but I hope every Canadian will show up.
And, when it is “our” turn, I look forward to joining American truck drivers heading east to Washington, D.C.
Heck, I’m already an insurrectionist. Can’t wait to see what name leftists give our big rig convoy.
If the US is anything like the UK, lorry drivers with any cardiovascular problems can kiss goodbye to their HGV licence and their livelihood.
I can’t blame them. From a non-trucker!
Great song…first drive in I went to was showing Smokey and the Bandit…Fred?
My first drive in experience was to see Star Wars, the movie screwed up so my parents turned the car around to watch the other screen, it was CONVOY. I have always loved that movie.
And what affect will this have Wednesday for the airlines? https://breaking911.com/urgent-airline-ceos-sound-alarm-on-catastrophic-aviation-crisis-when-5g-rollout-begins-this-week/
5G rollout.
Planes aren’t going to fall out of the sky if you make a phone call. What they’ve found is that the 5G signal can interfere with an aircraft’s radio altimeter. Those units are used to confirm altitude when landing in poor weather conditions, where there might not be visual confirmation of exact altitude. These instruments are much more precise that an aircraft’s normal altimeter, which uses atmospheric pressure to determine altitude. Not all runways have a 5G tower nearby, so this issue is being addressed on a case by case basis for now until a long term solution can be found.
5G weak spot is it’s signal penetrating ability. Blocked by your own houses walls and windows . It’s a mile wide and an inch thick.
Might that be why aluminum siding has been so readily replaced with vinal?
So those that took the jab could have a problem?
So proud of them standing up for them and us!! They have a large effect and I and my family will gladly go without so they can stand up for all of us. Thank you truckers!!!
The people do not have a clue how quickly devastating an organized trucker shut-down would have on their lives. There isn’t anything their homes at one time was on or in a truck. Think about it long enough and it quickly goes to very, very scary.
God bless those truckers. They make America and Canada run. Not the lying politicians or the lying news media, although I’m sure many of them believe they are that important but they are most certainly not.
Frens
I’m thinking our own government wants this to happen so they can call marshal law and call in the army.
I hope the truckers stand together and park their trucks.
Any truckers out there!
Thank You, God Bless Y’all and stay safe.
The thought was more important than the spelling.
Yes, but it’s such a commonplace and frustrating error…
Agree, but I made the comment because the first poster clearly wrote her comments from the heart, so the take-down spoiled the impact somewhat.
Can you imagine the government trying to take over trucking and transportation here in the USA. That would last perhaps a month before even the lefty cities would join the Let’s Go Brandon chorus.
.
Amazon Bezos would never go for that.
.
On the contrary, Amazon wishes to grow its market share even further during the crisis because they think they are prepared. But only time will tell anything.
Amazon has so many deliveries they can’t handle it all. Amazon now has their own fleet of planes and trucks. They have drivers, just like the big boy delivery companies. They have everything they need to run a delivery company, and they’re still farming out their freight to anybody with a pulse and a truck. We’re overwhelmed with Amazon freight, so is UPS, FedEx, USPS, and countless other independent operators. So if Amazon wants to increase its market share, well good luck with all that. They’re going to need a bigger boat.
And Elon with his self driving electric semi trucks, gimme a break, those barely go 300-500 miles.
The effect is the same whether they have a dramatic convoy that blocks traffic or just stay home and park their trucks. The National Guard can’t force them to drive.
It doesn’t matter how you spell it, it’s still going to suck.
Yep, shut it down.
I can’t afford groceries as it is.
Might as well go full starvation.
Never go full starvation.
Nobody can support the continued push for mandates. There’s zero reason. But as long as there’s no pushback, governments are gonna keep governmenting.
I’ll bet that just enough trucker events and just enough empty shelves is going to break the back of this COVID sham. It won’t even take much. Just cause the mask-weenies a little bit of pain and they’ll come crying to their news orgs.
And you truckers out there–if you’re part of something big like this you just tell me, drinks on me anytime. (Of course you don’t know who I am but if I find you nearby I’ll make myself known.)
“Nobody can support the continued push for mandates.”
Local news in Portland OR isn’t blaming the problem on mandates. They say everyone is out sick with omicron. Countrywide. It’s a terrible thing. And quite unexpected. So – yeah – all of those people certainly CAN continue to push for mandates, because everybody wouldn’t be sick and off work if they had just been shot. SARC
This is true. If truckers shut down the highway and the news doesn’t report it, did it make a sound?
My husband thinks the Reddits who refuse to work and the hoarders are the issue behind the shortages.
I don’t know where he gets his news, but obviously it’s not based in reality.
And are they really sick with Omicron, or did they just test positive?
So what would happen if the truckers decided to boycott DC since they are boycotting the unjabbed?
Truckers should boycott
Boston, NYC, DC
All three major east coast cities of restaurants, convention halls, museums etc now want to see individual covid papers.
No tickee no entrance.
See how long those restaurants, hotels and tourist spots survive without fresh food and drink.
Add Philthy PA to your list1
Thanks for heads up, I didn’t realize Philly is same.
Ridiculous
Always loved Smokey & the Bandit theme song 😁
Smokey and the no jab Bandit!
Give em hell!
a commenter here says that Truck Mechanics might be joining in.
We’ll see what happens.
But if the Mechanics join in, that would *really* throw a Monkey Wrench into the operation.
Yes… I think mechanics joining would be epic.. during the cold months that “def” mix causes havoc. Def fuel was a created problems by your friends at the swamp.
I retired as a trucker. One thing I know…..dont mess with 40 tons of rolling thunder.
For the last 6 years I’ve held sign waves along a busy bottleneck in northern Minnesota. Most of those signs waves were for Donald Trump/President Trump, with a few thrown in for NO MASKING.
One thing I noticed about truckers who drive 40 tons of rolling thunder, most of them showed their support for sanity in this insane world.
Having a semi blow their horn brought big smiles to everyone’s face!
The ordinary Joe’s of this planet that make the world go around are sick and tired of the do nothing elites!
Perfectly willing to wait this out and watch the libs starve.
My local Whole Foods store shelves were looking pretty empty………especially dairy and poultry.
The worlds best “on demand” shipper (Amazon/owner of WF), can’t solve this one. A supply chain issue created solely by Panicy Pandemic Progressives.
NYC near Times Square WF is same, acc’dng to people who live/shop there.
Other stores in area fine….for now- that was the report fr/ yesterday.
Yeah and it is ironic that WF is owned by Amazon, eh?
Whole Foods should be avoided as an Avenue of commerce at all costs
I’ve been noticing, for the past three months or so, that truckers don’t seem to be driving as fast as usual. Not just one or two here and there, but nearly ALL of them where I’ve been driving. Mostly NY/PA 81 & 80. North bound, south bound, east or west – it’s the same. It’s so noticeable to me probably because the trucks tend to scare the crap outta me when we are traveling, but lately they have been just a bit slower than the average vehicles around them. And because we’ve been traveling a bit more frequently, I can say it’s been pretty consistent.
Some of that is increased fines and penalties for speeding. They affect your CDL and has repercussions for insurance purposes and employment purposes.
That and most fleet trucks are governed to a certain speed to save fuel and comply with the libturd regulations.
The Green New Steal has its consequences.
Well, 70mph zones, trucks doing 60-65. On flat. level roads. When **I** pass multiple trucks, while I’m driving under the posted limit, more than a couple of times in an hour??? Never has happened before, LOL. In the whole time I’ve been driving. Certainly not for multiple months – every single trip. Not all the trucks are doing this, but most of them are.
Truckers just following state/federal rules will empty the shelves.
They need to find out that this nonsense doesn’t work.
After they find out it doesn’t work, the US will still implement the failed policy.
Honk honk!
Go bandit!
Thank God. The trucker are the only ones who can bring the madness to a stop (Yes, my grandfather and brother in law were truckers)
The the Canada flatbed truck flying the “Don’t Tread on Me” yellow Gadsden flag at the 30 sec mark.
Love this. We will succeed in freedom because loosing is not an option.
Another laughable interview on evening TV news (Fox ch. 12) out of Portland, OR. Last night, they tried to talk about the empty shelves, but at broadcast time the large grocery store chains they had contacted had not responded, so they spent the entire feature talking about how everyone should go and buy from the vegetable stands that are here and there–particularly in January. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
Today’s effort was a little more direct: lots of empty aisles and lots of empty shelves.
*Wait a minute. I thought that Delta and the first effort were far worse and millions of people were dying in ev ery state….and no one was dealing with empty shelves then??? /SARC YES
*All-righty then….but now EVERYONE is out sick with omicron–truckers and everybody. They’re all sick.
*Nowhere in any form are the mandates, dismissals, resignations, etc. mentioned or acknowledged.
And get a load of how some the “public” is functioning–just in case you have any hope of anyone figuring out on their own that they’re being lied to: the TV reporterette interviewed a woman who was just frantic about how much her grocery bill has gone up.
Here is the quote from that 50ish woman, speaking of herself and her husband: “It’s just the two of us and my bill is running $500 A WEEK.”
Don’t assume that level of unthinking is because she live in Portland. They’re all over the place. If they weren’t, obama would never been elected twice.
So–everybody’s lying about everything—and those who aren’t lying on purpose are lying because they have no idea where they are or what they’re doing.
…..and yet we still have dozens of comments every day containing something like, “I just can’t believe this!” “This is unbelievable!” “This CANNOT be happening.”
Tough times ahead for sure…..that woman’s husband should maybe get a taste-tester on board, I think. He’s going to start looking like a protein source in a month or so, considering how freaked out she is now—only being able to spent $500 a week on food for two. I’m guessing she’s never clipped coupons.
If I had $500 a MONTH to spend on groceries I’d be in heaven.
Spent about that much over the past three days, stocking up for possible hard times.
Should be good for the next six months or so:)
Wasn’t just groceries, either — paper products, lots of ink cartridges for my printer, batteries, and airtight containers to keep cereals and flour bug-proof.
Of course, there’s only me. Maybe her husband just eats a lot…
Pro tip:
Add a few bay leaves to the containers to help prevent bugs
Also good to get car items like oil and filters, belts, brake pads, and tires if needed. Tire prices have gone thru the roof recently.
Well looking at the informative posts on how to prepare this or that is really good stuff. Just like the Uber eats commercials I see on stream tv. Today I am having fresh tender loin of venison. After harvesting two fat doe’s this weekend we are now all deboned and soon to be made into fresh summer sausage.
A really good staple to have on hand is Mortons’s Tender Quick. You can preserve just about any meat there is and that is a vital ingredient in our deer sausage recipe. Once mixed and stuffed the sausage will keep a long time and it is very good….. Love the truckers God Speed to em all…
Hey Chairman Biden, Can you say loooooosing?
Looooosing loser lost!
Truck drivers are quarnteened nearly 23 hours per day in their vehicles. 37% in a recent poll said “no jab, no way”.
Tyson foods implemented a vax mandate, 20% of their drivers quit.
Nuremberg Code.
Never forget!
Love you guys!
I’m doing a field trip to “Roots Country Market” tomorrow. Trip will be the bomb, there will be an abundance for those that attend, the produce auction is a almost a spiritual moment. Tuesdays are the new Friday!
I’m seeing the song “Convoy” sung by C.W. McCall mentioned a lot here tonight. Nothing wrong with that.
But here’s an interesting factoid. That song was written by one Chip Davis, who is better known as the founder of Mannheim Steamroller.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convoy_(song)
“Convoy” is a 1975 novelty song performed by C. W. McCall (a character co-created and voiced by Bill Fries, along with Chip Davis) that became a number-one song on both the country and pop charts in the US….
Written by McCall and Chip Davis, the song spent six weeks at number one on the country charts[2] and one week at number one on the pop charts. The song went to number one in CANADA as well….” 👍🏻😂👍🏻
Smoky and the no jab Bandit!
Yeahaw!
Our guys are probably keeping their powder dry until the 22nd.
Statements fr/ dif Grocery Store CEO’s, blaming shortages on, basically, everything *but* the vax mandates. Maybe the reporter edited out anti- Mandate statements? Or the CEOs just don’t want to go there.
Once the mandates take effect, maybe they’ll mention it? Or will they just stick their heads in the sand?
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10410787/Omicron-surge-supply-chain-issues-lead-shelves-storefronts-US.html
There heads are already stuck up their….not in the sand!
Central Planning. Bread lines.
I remember 9/11 when the borders were closed and Ford stopped production because parts were not crossing to their factories.
Please forgive my ignorance but I am not sure what is going on here. The truckers are driving slowly and blocking the roads to protest the mandates? What does that do? What’s the end game?
To demonstrate that truckers hold all the cards
You gotta know when to hold em!
Keep on truckin’!
This vid fr/ Canada was in the comments of one of the twits re. Truckers. It’s pretty nice:
deleted by me.
I posted this when President Trump was in power. I think it just may come true sooner than I thought.
The US Media is always going on about how many more College educated voters vote Democrat than Republican. If all the people with Women’s Studies,
African American Studies, Gender Studies, Political Science, Journalism and many other frivolous degrees took the Sports Journalists, Celebrities, Media talking heads, Lawyers and Politicians with them and they all disappeared tomorrow. In 6 months no one would notice and our society would
probably be a better place to live.
On the other hand, if the stupid people: Electricians, Carpenters, Millwrights, Truck Drivers, Sanitation workers, Plumbers, Policeman, Fireman, Ambulance personal, Farmers and many other trades were to disappear. —In 6 months these “smart” voters, if still alive, would be living in the dark, wiping their butts with leaves, eating garbage any where they found it and society
would be in total chaos.
Amen brother!
Very well said and ‘amen’
Smokey and the no v a x bandits! Give em h e l l !
Smoky and the no jab bandit!
East bound and down!
“Ol’ Smokey’s got them ears on and he’s hot on your trail.
He aint gonna rest ’til you’re in jail.
So you got to dodge ‘im and you got to duck ‘im,
You got to keep that diesel truckin’.
Just put that hammer down and give it hell.”

Progs WANT to slow rigs.
Read Trucking industry publications and note the ” GREEN ” agenda trends.
” De-Carbonize ” Trucking with electric / Nat. gas rigs. Then driverless trucks.
Obama said something like ” Naturally you will PAY MORE ” about shutting down power plants.
Same mindset applies to trucking.
LOL , No worries mates !!!! They will send Buttigieg in for the fix !!!!
