Global News is reporting on a slow moving vaccine protest by truckers at the Manitoba, Canada-U.S border crossing.
(Global News) – […] “Truck drivers are circling MB-75 between Emerson Duty Free and the Commercial Inspection station blocking all lanes heading south to the United States and Northbound traffic coming from the USA,” Throp said.
In a video sent to Global News by Dawn Davey, trucks can be seen slowly driving on Hwy. 75 and horns are blasting. (read more)

There are lessons to be learned by all debauched wickedly evil governments who consider themselves monumentally smarter than the people they have their jackboots on.
The truckers, the best of the best, are a brotherhood who will start those classes in 3-2-1…
Amen, and Amen!
My father owned a small independent truckline. I’m thankful he’s not here to endure this today. This would have bankrupted him.
We’re dealing with hideous subhumans here, Dixie. I know you miss him. But I’m glad he’s been spared that.
The welfare state changes everything. AOC and many other leftists think money is just something you print, and it can go on to infinity. No doubt it can, along with ever-growing inflation.
We’ll all be millionaires, and soon!
Many on the “right” buy into this same “monetary policy” that insanely presumes that governments create MONEY, and can therefore create unlimited amounts, without consequence.
True, governments create MONEY, but individuals create wealth, a fact they ignore, at OUR peril.
Banks create money. Government prints money.
It all goes on and on…until it doesn’t, Raptors. The good and the bad. You know it. No one on the left does.
And we’ll be the poorest millionaires that ever lived.
My father died in 1995, Betsy. It’s my marine that was murdered by a Michigan Catholic hospital that I miss most of all.
My best friend and surrogate mom died Spring of 19. I miss her terribly but am SO GLAD she is not here to suffer this atrocity.
C. W. McCall warned them many years aga not to push the truckers too far.
It appears the imbeciles in Washington, all of whom don’t recognize where their food comes from or how it gets to them, aren’t fans of Mr McCall. We’ll see how long it takes for them to realize they have to eat…just like the peasant class.
Betsy, they will use our tax dollars and force the national guard to deliver them food and supplies. That is what will happen. Now, it won’t be for you or me, or other Americans, it will be for them, their families, their admins, etc. And they will tell us how important they are and why they must use our tax dollars and our national guard to bring them their just desserts.
While I see your point, Dwayne, can you imagine the optics of that? National Guard Grub Hub for our “essential betters”? I don’t think they’d dare.
NONE of their optics are any good any more. I don’t think they care. :/
Maybe not at this moment. But they will be MADE to care soon enough, TreeClimber.
Hungry citizens who can’t feed their families or themselves will come from both sides of the political spectrum. Suddenly it won’t matter whether people align with the Ds or the Rs. And that’s a very dangerous position to be in for a maladministration that thinks it has control of the reins on a runaway horse.
They will then understand tsunami of rage which they themselves have orchestrated. I hope, pray, it doesn’t come to that…I really do. But if this monstrous government deliberately continues down this Holodomor-like path, anything is possible.
“Holodomor”, had to look it up. One of the reasons I read this site are the things I learn from contributors. Thank you for introducing me to that very appropriate word.
There are some good videos on Youtube explaining the Holodomor. Horrific and so prescient.
The concrete wall being constructed around 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. speaks volumes. What next, moats and alligators??
Testing the waters for pitchforks and torches…
Make ropes and lamp posts great again!!
But don’t they all have huge bunkers and pantries filled with food? Be a while before they feel the pinch. Evil f*cks.
A COVID convoy.
I can get behind that!
“We got us a CONVOY!”
Was the first thing I thought of.
That film never gets old. Bought a copy last summer. Had no clue how timely this subject would be.
Would like to see them crash the gate doing 98…Let them truckers roll 10-4!
We’ll do our part. God be with those hard-working individuals who keep this great Republic moving during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with you. Glad to have been part of the team for many decades of my life.
Much respect!
16K unvaxxed Truckers, according to news accounts of the past few days.
That’s a LOT of trucks.
The fascists would let children starve before they give in.
That’s what fascists do best – evil.
Notice that Biden brags about defying the Constitution, defying the Supreme Court.
Fascism is a government of men, not a government of laws. And fascists will obey a senile old man. Even the British monarchists hid George III away. Fascists put Biden on camera with just a teleprompter to read from.
Good man!
Don’t mess with truckers – they are some HAMFS
If there has ever been a time to get behind a group and support them, this is it. This is government trying to inflict pain on us, we need to support the truckers at this point and force this issue and let’s see who blinks.
All of this is intentional and by design, do not back down!
That is *exactly* what the players at the Australian Open should do… (but won’t).
Thank you, Sundance. Very interesting! This sounds like the beginning! I just had a friend tell me she had trouble finding canned soup for her husband at Walmart. I can not find the large olive oil at Sams. West Texas
The big thing that will be missing if this tyranny continues will be lumber for new construction and remodeling since we get a vast amount of timber and lumber from Canada.
Aaaaand, Tp and paper towels.
My company is the market leader, by a huge margin, for transporting chips for pulp in the PNW. There is no affect on our supply chain for paper making materials.
Both the source and destination mills are all working full out. The ground piles are huge. We have made our weekly haul counts throughout the entire past 2 years.
We are not woke and we are not and will not mandate the clot shot.
If there is a shortage around here it will entirely be due to media hype and irrational retail customer frenzy buying.
Bless you, Stu, and thank you. Keep up the good work!
Hear hear.
Love ya, neighbors.
My husband recently bought a closed upholstery frame shop and an electric sawmill to operate in this building….we got lots of trees here in foothills NC just waiting to be made into lumber!
He’s a retired furniture factory engineer/manager
Awesome! My late husband was a salesman for Broyhill many years ago. Your husband is another example of American ingenuity!
Thanks I’ll tell him!
Tell him to start building gallows.
If you build it, they will come..
And I’m ready to buy from you. How do I get in touch with you?
Need Southern Yellow Pine for structural framing. If you got it, fire the mill up.
I live in Western NC (Foothills) as well. Would sure love to give you some sawmill buisness!
Love that there are so many North Carolinians reading CTH!
We escaped Hellinois in 2019 and are in NE NC.
Awesome! You and people like you are EXACTLY what we need! The “new underground”! Even as we speak, I am searching for plywood, drywall and building supplies in the West / Central AR area and I’m looking for business owners like you to do business with!
Lots of trees in Arkansas, too!
I guess that East Texas loggers and saw mills need to step up and go a bit faster. Canada isn’t the only place we get timber. Stop sending it to china. America First.
Im an oil/gas landman here in East Texas….many mineral owners are choosing to harvest their timber and sell it when they sign their leases. Im seeing it happen more and more the past 3 months.
My family has passed down East Texas timber land (Upshur Co) for generations. More thought goes into growing timber than in generally realized. For instance, intermixing faster growing varieties with the plan to eventually thin for pulp wood and to leave room for higher quality, possibly slower trees. Thinning is an art. It makes a mess but leads to lovely mature stands of straight trees. The final clear cut is always a sad occasion. Once I reached 60, I was planting “crops” for my daughter to harvest. Just as my father did for me. And, you bet, we maintain the mineral rights!
From the Aggies, Statewide pine tree sawtimber prices are up 26% from a year ago and pulpwood is up 11%. And, no, timber growers were not making a killing during the lumber shortage.
Yes indeed…I’m in Tyler working on interests in Cass County and current folks have had these minerals/resources passed down since the late 1800’s….verifying the ownership title gets a bit complicated for sure!
Cass County? If you are working the Samuel Hemphill survey, you can find me at the address on the mineral deed my mother signed in 2011. My parents reserved all their mineral rights when they sold most of their land up there to my cousin and her husband. The land had been growing pine timber since forever. My mother’s great grandparents were settlers in that community in the 1840’s and part of that land in the mineral deed belonged to her grandfather. If I ever sold those minerals, the grantee would have to be a relative.
they will miss us more than we miss them – count on it
I could not find the large olive oil at Sam’s two weeks ago and my next visit found there was half a pallet on the next aisle. Today Sam’s had mostly full shelves but were out of Pepperoni Pizza but had lots of 3-meat and combos. It was also out of regular ground pepper, having only the restaurant ground pepper which acts like glass shards under my denture.
They did not have table salt the day I was there.
Remember the hit song Convoy? It was big in or around 1976 and we need the truckers of America and Canada to lead the way back to freedom.
10-4 Rubber Duck
Lightening has your back door!
Spent many hours on trips back and forth from Georgia, where we lived, to North Carolina, where family was. Never got a ticket thanks to a CB radio and the TRUCKERS!
It’s time to pay it forward and help the truckers however or whenever we can.
Dixie, I was the ‘Dixie chicken’ back then. Wasn’t very confident talking to the big guys, and they could tell. Used to raze me saying, “What?? Piece a chicken?”
Dallas Mustang here…driving my ’72 Cutlass from Chi-town to Dallas in the mid 70’s…
“I’ll be your dixie chicken if you’ll be my Tennessee lamb” – Lowell George (‘Lil Feat)
Haha! Dixie chicken, huh? Good times back then! The truckers were our life savers. Now we can hopefully be their life savers. Since we are sorta the end of the line here in Morehead City NC(or the beginning), if I see any truckers gathered in one parking lot, I will surely offer to get them a meal.
Dixie, I am in Morehead City, too! And we are at end of the line (almost).
Good to meet a neighbor here at CTH.
My mom got on the CB bandwagon, in the early 70s. She had a homebase and would stay up half the night talking to these guys. Anyone who traveled interstate 75, knew who Lazy Lady was. When the blizzard of 77-78 hit in Michigan, we had all these truckers stranded on 75. So my mom got a bunch of neighbors together, and started making coffee and hot chocolate, us kids got to make the sandwiches. We only lived a couple of blocks from 75, we got all the sleds together and for 5 days delivered whatever we could to anyone who was stuck. If you had kids with you you were invited to stay at someone’s house that had electricity. After my mom’s death, all these men and women showed up at her funeral. It was like a CB clubs jamboree. The adult’s were giving us lessons that we didn’t realize at the time. We were just having fun.
Thank you for sharing that story. My heart just grew a bit more.
She loved her truckers. Well, she just loved everyone, she never met a stranger.
Oh my, what an outstanding story – thank you!
That’s real America.
WIVoter: I remember “Convoy” well. Uncharacteristically, my penny-conscious father purchased a CB radio for our Oldmobile station wagon; either a Vista Cruiser or a Cutlass. It was tan and had “wood” paneling. Once, on ski trip to Vermont, a VT State Trooper’s voice came over the CB, letting my father know that our “tan suburban” was speeding. My father was an auxilliary policeman and used to talk himself out of speeding tickets by flashing his badge.
I have almost the same story. My father bought a CB for the Eldo for VT ski trips. Though from Brooklyn, he had an excellent southern accent and spent hours talking to truckers. And every time they would mention “Smokey” he would turn to my mother and say, “see, paid for itself again”.
I went to Pizza Hut in 1976 with a friend frequently. They had the Convoy song on the jukebox, and he would play the song 10-15 times in a row. Needless to say, many of the patrons requested To-Go boxes, but we thought it was hilarious.
I was just coming here to lay that down——here it is, for your listening pleasure. I think it requires volume UP – WAY UP

And this seems like a companion piece—here’s Johnny Paycheck – Take this Job and Put Where the Mandates Are
Forgot about the chartreuse microbes 😂
This was one of my mom’s favorite songs. She quit one job using that line when this was popular. She still brings it up today – it’s like her signature line.
What about the movie with Kris Kristofferson??
You might be thinking of Convoy. With Ali McGraw. Late 70’s.
I’ve got White Line Fever on the hard drive, will give it a revisit. Also, Vanishing Point, though that was more anti-authority than a trucking movie. And Smokey and the Bandit. Man the 70’s were a wonderful time to be alive, even with the problems.
We oldsters have seen stuff like this before but never IME to this degree, especially not world-wide. Nuts.
Gumball
Rally. Great show.
I’m 70 years old and I still get a lump in my throat when I hear Red Sovine sing Phantom 309.

As a lifelong MoPar gal, I fully approve of Vanishing Point.
Paul Brandt – Convoy – Official Music Video – YouTube
Just for you WIVoter
Sam Peckinpah made a “Convoy” movie based on the song, staring Kris Kristofferson, Ali MacGraw, Burt Young, and Ernie Borgnine.
I remember the Teamsters from the ’70s. Granted, there are fewer independent truckers these days, but there are still plenty of things they can do to throw sand in the machine.
Brace for Impact!
Y’all don’t know this but Pete Booty-edge has a CDL
😂😂😂😂
That is so he can fit in with the other lot lizards.
They minimized the number of independent truckers by instituting insane requirements on the rigs during the O’Pontificator Regime, driving a lot of independent owner-operators back into the clutches of the big companies, Hunt, etc., because their rigs didn’t qualify anymore.
Hunt was (is?) labeled the worst company to work for in the USA. IIRC one college professor taught a course using Hunt as an example of a horrible work environment!.
Can Justine Trudeau drive a manual? Perhaps he can jump in and help solve the supply chain issue.
Justine only sucks tailpipes…
Winning!!!
Suck start a Harley!
Hey – Slo Joe claims he once drove an 18 wheeler – problem solved – hard no!
Joe required a lot of training wheels. Most people got by with 2.
This is excellent. Truckers don’t f*ck around….more power to them. If they can hold their ground they can force them to buckle. And god bless the artist in DC who is putting up the Soviet era style posters mocking Biden/Fauci vaccine mandate! Massive amounts of sand in the wheels…KEEP POURING IT!!
So cool, thanks for bringing this to attention!!!
https://justthenews.com/government/white-house/soviet-style-street-art-mocking-biden-and-fauci-appears-dc

I know…what a putz!
And, if this starts to happen at all of the cross-border interchanges……the Elites are going to go full tantrum mode. In CA the mounties will be called in. In the US, FIB.
They will come in with the full weight of the oppressors.
Not really. The elites have ushered in deliberate cross border mandates to throw sand in the supply chain of both countries and make life a living hell for our citizens. This is the ONLY reason for this. Truckers have driven these roads unobstructed for 2 years. Why now?
If truckers foul things on the highways at slower speeds, all the better to muck things up in thé opinion of our governments. No govt agencies will be called in to rectify this. It is all deliberately engineered by our governments who are entirely controlled by the globalists who have written the next chapter of the playbook to destroy the United States and Canada and decimate our standards of living.
Don’t you know all truckers are White Nationals? Call AG Garland to report these insurrectionists.
Isn’t it about now that the Neo-Comms wag Pavlov’s dog and declare war on someone?
Well, the Xiden Administration has already declared war on over half the American population.
Yeah, but its the other half. They will only notice when its Ukraine
They cannot be towed away if they are still moving.
I hope they realize it’s too much at once and reverse this immediately.
Who are you talking about?
You want the government to reverse now and return slowly?
You want the truckers to not do what they’re doing?
I hope the government realizes this is too much at once and reverse the mandate. They have had to walk things back because it caused too much chaos.
It’s not just “too much at once”; there is no reason to tolerate it in smaller portions.
You are thinking like an honest and logical person which you can do no longer.
The point IS the chaos. You need to think like THEM to understand the strategy and their intentions.
And they still haven’t learned their lessons. “F” for fail…and a dunce cap.
I believe the respondent is referring to the flame getting turned up too high on the pot and the frogs are getting restless from the water being too warm and a wise course of action is to reduce the heat.
I would tend to agree, from a practical strategic standpoint; in the midst of supply chain strain, causing such disruption can tip over elements deleterious to the health and continued safety of both critical infrastructure and those responsible for the current pot flame level.
We don’t have any control over the decision makers who are exercising their free will so the results will be what they are.
Yes! I didn’t explain it well.
Totalitarians CAN NOT “back off”; its in the nature of totalitarianism.
If they “show weakness” it will expose the reality that their “power” and “authority” are NOT inherent, and only derive from the consent of the governed.
And once that truth is exposed for all the World to see, they are lost.
Repression, intimidation, making examples of people, and generally sewing division within the populace are all focused on preventing people from recognising and acting on this one simple, immutable truth.
And once it is exposed, well “Once you see the strings,….”
This will be an interesting cliff to run off off… Buckle up!
At our morning coffee here in Southern British Columbia the mood among the neutral is changing.
Many are seriously pi**ed off. A dear friend who got vaxxed because he only has one Kidney, and is a go along to get along type.
Is incensed. He and his also vaxxed wife have come down with the “19”
This recent attack on the truckers by our Communist P.M. and the Quebec Communist.
Have galvanized many up here.
It must be remembered that Trudeau only received approximately 36% of the popular vote.
Maxine Bernier the leader of The People’s Party of Canada is holding anti mandate rallies across the country on Jan 22 or thereabouts.
Had Bernier been selected to be the Conservative leader as opposed to the Milque toast we have, Bernier may have been the P.M.
Or at least would be in the House of Parliament.
Things are getting tasty .
Cheers!
God…and we…are with you all, Dekester.
I’ll bet nowhere in their carefully laid out plans did Justine and his globalist masters consider this sort of disruptive pushback. I know it’s early days. Just a guess. Bravo those drivers.
Maxime is the natural leader of the conservatives.
Good to read. Stages vary by person. I was angry in the 80’s. I know what to do now. Anger is long in the past. God be with our good neighbors to the north.
Bernier was Canada’s version of Trump and 2020.
Max had a big lead in the convention vote (Canada still does meaningful political conventions) until the last ballot, when his support disappeared, and Andrew Scheer won.
Scheer was immediately discarded after one losing election. The mission was to stop Bernier, nothing else.
dear friend who got vaxxed because he only has one Kidney,
This to me sounds like a reason Not to get “vaxxed”
Thank you, Sundance. This family is braced for impact. As much as can be.
Pray. Prepare. RESIST!
As Omicron is transitioning to endemic status, world governments are insanely intensifying their persecution. Hopefully the truckers stay strong and don’t cave.
Something really evil here. The more proof that the fraud is unsubstantiated, the more desperate they become. Trudeau just bought enough injection junk to jab every Canadian eight times through 2024. Hardly looks like any easing off ever.
And it’s worldwide. Which logical deduction suggests this is all co-ordinated.
Now France wants to turn Djokovic into a martyr.
“Something’s happening here, and what it is ain’t exactly clear.”
Laundering the tax payers money through the drug companies…. Back to themselves.
It is always about the money.
There’s a lot of laundering through the government, legal and banking systems. We know what to do. We have a lot of power. It’s simply a matter of making the choice and doing it in a collective manner. The enemy is strong, but few. We know what to do.
And massive laundering through the PCR tests. Those manufacturers are ALSO making bank. Funded by us.
For those who read the Bible especially Revelation they have the scoop on what is going to happen…just sayin.
yee-haw!👍🏻😁👍🏻
“There’s armored cars and tanks and jeeps
And rigs of ev’ry size
Yeah, them chicken coops was full’a bears
And choppers filled the skies
Well, we shot the line and we went for broke
With a thousand screamin’ trucks
An’ eleven long-haired Friends a’ Jesus
In a chartreuse micra-bus
‘Cause we got a mighty convoy
Rockin’ through the night
Yeah, we got a mighty convoy
Ain’t she a beautiful sight?
Come on and join our convoy
Ain’t nothin’ gonna get in our way
We gonna roll this truckin’ convoy
‘Cross the USA.”
– convoy, c.w. mc call
oops!
was intended as reply to WIVoter!😊
Perhaps its time for non truckers to show support?
How about a call for convoys on major interstates, coast to coast?
Similar to “Trump rallies” and “Boat parades”?
Oh, how I’ve always loved the line about the “friends of Jesus in the chartreuse microbus”… Good times
Truckers possess more power than any other group. Will they use it?
Yes of course they will use it. More truckers are aware the personal potential danger of vaccines and the danger of lost freedoms. Most truckers know the difference what is safe and not safe. Truckers also know the difference between logical commonsense and cockamamie….Truckers despise Libtard “do gooders” laws.
Truckers listen to LOTS of talk radio. They know what is going on, but it would help if talk radio helped organize a boycott.
They don’t need talk radio- they have CBs.
Be interesting if the same thing happened around Washington DC.
^^^^^ This ^^^^^
I’m being more optimistic than that, I am hoping for giant sink hole to swallow DC in seconds.
Im still waiting for the lightning bolts!
Needs to be like Moses coming down from Mt Sinai and the earth cracking open with all the sinners falling in. Instead of throwing the Ten Commandments tablets, we can maybe throw the Constitution – well a copy, don’t want to throw that away. I actually care about it.
“Their” plan seems to be introduction of self driving trucks.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/calgary-inventor-at-the-head-of-billion-dollar-self-driving-truck-technology/wcm/a19b3f4f-5337-4e1b-a9cd-f42e74829f03/amp/
A friend has used regular cars with self-navigating technology and described the experience to me.
And months ago, can recall Tucker Carlson objecting to self driving trucks for the devastation this will wreak on truckers.
Will search for the link.
This isnt it, but is on topic
https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2021/12/29/tusimple-completes-its-first-driverless-autonomous-truck-run-on-public-roads/amp/
San Fransisco Trucking Company….wonder who’s his Daddy?
If I meet someone new, and want to know THEIR “world view” without revealing my own, I ask 3 questions;
“How do you feel about ‘self-driving vehicles?”
“Have you ever worked at a job, with a sign listing # of days since an accident?”
“Bic or Zippo?”
No ONE answer is conclusive, but the answers to all 3 are 99 percent.
A forth would be (while holding a cross word puzzle “Is ‘center body mass’ a term of PHYSICS, or ASTROPHYSICS?”
A self driving truck, in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night.
The wild, wild, West returns. 😁
It’ll be hard to build autonomous vehicles if food and parts have not been delivered by the live truckers.
A truck is a truck. If the routes are blocked doesn’t matter if self-driving or not. Not much a plan.
Having worked on self-driving vehicles, I am very confident that self-driving trucks will not happen in the next 10 years.
You sure about that? …and this was in 2019.
https://www.mic.com/impact/self-driving-truck-completes-first-cross-country-freight-delivery-19440102
these will be much easier targets for the dindu’s compared to moving trains
If they ever have self-driving trucks, I won’t be living anywhere near a large road.
Wonder what it takes to stop one of those things once it goes out of control.
That makes sense but in an adversarial environment, autonomous vehicles are free of one important deterance to adverse action, a human. People are generally naturally inhibited from taking the life of another human but a machine, not so much. Rinse and repeat for anything in critical infrastructure that’s autonomous.
Self driving autonomous will happen. The better question is when will it happen.
This is similar to the phasing out of horse buggies when cars came into the scene and can seen throughout history in multiple other industries and technologies.
So I wouldn’t focus too much energy on this part other than to figure out the “when” aspect. If the “when” is 20-30 years then today’s truckers are minimally impacted. If it is a 5-10 year thing then a brand new trucker or someone considering going into the field should understand what the impact and how quickly it deploys.
That’s some game of Chicken they’re playing.
Schneider to shutter Canadian operations
by Today’s Trucking
January 14, 2022
Schneider Transport has put its Guelph, Ont., property for sale and informed associates it is closing its Canada-based operations.
“Today, Jan. 14, 2022, we are announcing a change in the company’s approach to Canadian-based operations,” the company told Trucknews.com in a written statement, responding to questions about its Canadian operations.
Despite the dedication and best efforts over many years, Canadian-based operations do not fit within Schneider’s long-term strategic focus. This decision was difficult. The change will affect all 150 Canadian-based associates and drivers.
We are working with associates during the transition. Company trucks and equipment will transfer to our U.S.-based network to continue to serve our customers and as we proceed with the sale of the Guelph, Ont., property.
We expect Schneider will no longer have Canadian-based operations by the end of March. We have notified all our Canadian associates and will remain in regular communication with them over the coming months.”
https://www.trucknews.com/business-management/schneider-to-shutter-canadian-operations/1003156380/
Whoa!
That’s a fricking big deal….which explains why no MSM is covering it.
According to their website: U.S. Mexico and Canada cross border shipping | Schneider
They process over 9.2 million cross-border load miles (i.e., an entire truck starting in one country dropping in another- very simple explanation). This is for both the northern and southern borders. So, let’s say more than half are on the southern border and peg the northern border with 4 million load miles.
Poof, gone, for another carrier to handle…..another carrier that may or may not have the logistics to handle this type of increase.
From their website:
If Twinkle Toes Trudeau thinks this is just a hiccup….well, he’s what we thought he was….a moron progressive elitist.
That’s pretty big. Schneider is one of the biggest–if not THE biggest–trucking companies in the US.
Oh God….I hope not, but this might make the Bi-dolt in the wh put the hammer down on them here, probably at
Tru-dolt’s urging. Maybe Schneider has already covered their bases since I expect they’re too big to make knee jerk moves.
Fingers crossed that it all works out for the best for Schneider.
Silly humans. Time to replace you with the T-1000 driver system.
/sarcasm
I’m sorry Dave, I’m afraid I can’t let you do that.
“Open the pod bay door, HAL!”
“I’M sorry, Dave,…no can do!”
“God *?!#!! it hal, open the f’ing DOOR!”
“No!”
Daisy, Daisy……
10~4 good buddy! Bring it, y’all! Yes!! Squeeze harder, please!!
My belief is that the Canadian government doesn’t have an idea of what is about to hit them. How long will they keep this mandate in place once grocery shelves are near empty?
They should have a little chat with the governor of Pennsylvania who could share with them what happened when he told the truckers they couldn’t use the interstates, the rest stops, or the truck stops for fueling and food…..and it took that goofball at least a couple of days to figure out what he had done.
We’ll see how long it takes Canada.
It’s a new game: How Stupid Can Government Be – kind of pandemic Gong Show
Sharon, this new game of, “How Stupid Can Governments Be” is unfortunately misunderstood and the Gubmint is taking it as a challenge to show us all how stupid they actually are.
I thought a Stock Market crash would be the “feel” pain needed to wake people up. However, it pales compared to empty store shelves. Bottom-line, trucks and truckers hold the Ace card. It humbles the arrogant Libtards with a dose of much needed humility. “You want to once again explain to me CRT while standing in front of me with an empty soup bowl”?
Wiil the trucking pain trigger the Mother of all Bubbles popping?
Canadian .gov knew *exactly* what would happen, IMO. *Nobody* can be this stupid.
It’s all part of the plan to destroy the economy and starve people, etc. etc. >>> Make ’em panic and beg for a “solution”.
I agree. They destroy the economy, starve the people and then the people will do exactly what they want, which is to join the Great Reset.
I don’t entirely agree. If you think it’s not possible for government to be that stupid… I don’t think you’ve met very many governments. Stupid decisions are the essence of bureaucracy.
Though having said that… I can’t definitively *prove* that it isn’t a conspiracy. But as the saying goes, “two men can keep a secret – if one of them is dead.” If there’s genuine malicious intent behind it, the number of people truly “in the know” must be very limited.
They will blame it on the weather, then on covid, then on anti-vaxers, but will NEVER concede any responsibility, nor change coarse.
Remember, if a Tyranist ever “backs off” they are only doing so, in order to get a good run at it.
Bring this entire thing down if we have to.
We have to.
No we will continue to see our leader true leaders.
.
In Poland during the Solidarity movement, they found Lech Wałęsa..
Recently in Loudoun County Virginia we found many emerging leaders.
.
Soon we will see many great trucker leaders in the USA and Canada folks too.
Opps, should have been NOW we find out…
Tip: hover over post. There is a little gear over to the right that enables re-editing.
Copy that.
Wasn’t it a truck driver out east that beat one of the most powerful politicians in his state on a shoe string budget?
New Jersey’s longest-running state Senate president has lost his seat to a truck driver who reportedly spent only $153 on Dunkin and paper fliers over the course of his campaign.
YES!!! YOU!!! CAN!!!
It was more like $5,000 but still impressive.
The CCC – Canadian COVID Convoy. Perhaps Slow Joe the Blow can get behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler and keep the supply chain rolling. Psaki can be his navigator.
Ali McGraw…(with long hair…not short) made my pants go crazy in the late ’70’s…
As time passes, more critical thinkers and objective reasoners who have a confirmation bias towards facts and real Science, ( as in the Galileo, Einstein, Malone sorts of confirmation bias where the subjective is winnowed) are questioning the “Great Reset Medical reasoning” which becomes more transparently fraudulent each day.
These truck operators are one of multiple professional examples of those who see and understand facts, not stories.
Hang tough, Canadian truckers!!
So, after SCOUTS blocking, albeit temporarily until parties are heard, stop the vax mandate for private businesses (OSHA), why are we still talking about mandate going into effect for truckers? Are we now in a territory of “picking” and “choosing” courts’ decisions? If so, God help us as this was the only thing making us different from others. If that’s no longer the case, this is no longer United States of America and maybe a national divorce should happen before it gets kinetic…
The truck driver mandata is a completely separate thing from the interstate commerce regulatory nut jobs. Sundance has clarified it repeatedly over the past few days….my short term memory doesn’t serve me well enough to post links.
Origins and enforcement re the trucks are not driven by OSHA .
The “commerce clause” is and has been abused for a very long time. It needs to be addressed badly.
They use the commerce clause to limit your awards in insurance claims and even for your health insurance company to claim your awards under a process called “subrogation.”
In a world where you can get the same thing insured by multiple insurers, they have managed to use federal corruption to dip into your medical claims.
Imagine a situation where your wife needs cancer treatment and the insurance company limits the treatments it will pay for. But you also have other insurance claims where that money could be used to pay for those additional treatments. Under the abused commerce clause, the insurance company is not only entitled to limit the treatments you receive but can also claim other money from OTHER insurance company awards which could be used to pay for the treatments the insurance company denies. This effectively prevents being able to be insured both by a private insurer as well as by the insurer(s) of the one(s) who inflicted harm onto you as well.
A rig gamed rigged by those who benefit the most.
That’s appalling!
But still, nothing should force someone to take an injection that might well kill him or permanently damage his heartr muscle as a condition of employment. Especially when the treatment in question is still under “emergency (sic) use” authorization.
Did no one ever read the corresponding section of Federal law, which quite clearly protects both your right to give informed consent and your right to refuse for any or no reason? Didn’t think so. 21 USC §360bbb-3, et seq.
“…nothing should force someone to take an injection that might well kill him or permanently damage his heartr…”
Of course not. And I certainly didn’t say they should.
I was specifically responding to cdbm1967 ‘s assumptions/confusion and saw no need to get in to the weeds to try to cover the whole waterfront.
It is called the DOT. Department of Transportaion. They set the federal rules..
For the same reason we’re now on Congress watch as the traitorous Dems try to hide their defeated HR1 voting coup bill in a NASA bill now making its way through the House.
These people can’t operate in the open. They have to use back and side doors to accomplish their dirty work, before Americans unfamiliar with the rat infested sewers of the government realize what has been done.
I wish OUR team had even a FRACTION of the Left’s relentlessness and ingenuity! Just imagine where we’d be….
Sundance said this yesterday on the that trucker thread,
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2022/01/16/vaccine-mandate-for-cross-border-trucking-now-in-effect-mandate-for-domestic-trucking-begins-in-a-week-prepare-your-affairs-accordingly/comment-page-1/#comment-8450042
“Truckers being regulated and required to be vaccinated to transport goods inside our borders.
Federal regulation, like DOT rules, driving time limits, weights and such. Truckers must be vaccinated by 1/22/22 or they cannot drive.”
Pretty sure Sundance got this wrong. On 1/22 the mandate applies to foreign drivers entering the USA only
The DOT mandates were long in process and I’ll bet opposition will face an uphill battle due to their authority over interstate commerce.
I would expect the Communists and their Lawfare operatives to examine and pursue every avenue, no matter how obscure, to complete their mission. After all, their kind wrote the laws to make all this possible to do within the boundaries of the legal and judicial system. America.
Good morning, as your pod has malfunctioned, and you have just awoken to reality, perhaps you might benefit from a cup of coffee?
I would love to see a thousand screamin trucks
And eleven long-haired Friends of Jesus
In a chartreuse micra-bus going down the interstate. Hopefully there are still a few rubber ducks and pig pens around.
that “11 long-haired Friends of Jesus” line always makes me laugh….in a purty micro-bus yet
I have seen the Illinois national guard…THAT worries me.
Thanks sundance This is news that I have NOT seen anywhere else.
It does appear that the economy will get worse before it gets better.
But but but…the “science” is settled!!
“But I’m a good person because I have been compliant! How dare you do this to me?!”
Good for them! I hope they don’t comply!
Godspeed brave truck drivers!!!
#WeAreWithYou truckers!!!!
#WeAreAllTruckersNow!
Truckers nationwide can eliminate the Fake democRat Residency within 3 weeks by just Staying Home.
Some moderate inconveniences to Save Our Country.
The fatal disease of Liberty is Too Little, Too Late.
Act Now!
We got us a Convoy!
Maybe we need to bring Sam-P back from the Other Side and tell him that we need him to direct another movie. Because they just don’t make ’em like that anymore. That thing was “Dukes of Hazzard on steroids” in terms of the “over-the-top stunts.”
Check out the obfuscation from this RCMP twit fr/ article posted ….. “vehicles”. No mention of trucks.
This they will understand, especially if American drivers join in~~
FJT!
And the Joe Biden he rode in on.
I wonder what Trump thinks about the truck and trucker weapon against the present tyranny by our present government?
Truckers like Trump, and Trump likes truckers.
Trump came out, unoquivically against mandates.
I suspect he supports this, although politically he may be prudent to let it play out, without commenting, at least for awhile.
BTW if any drivers want a non-woke non-vex employer to drive for, I don’t wanna say who we are because of Governors Brownshirt and Insane, but there are companies out there.
Home every day, the critical skill is backing up the 50 ton 53 footer onto the tipper with only 6 inches of clearance on both sides, making sure the tipper is down before backing up.
We always need more drivers!
Stu, I have a sister who has been driving for several years. How would she find these companies?
Something I noticed today that struck me as particularly odd. We live in a very rural area in Western Wisconsin, about a mile from a trucking route that goes through our tiny town. When I was running errands this morning, I noticed at least a dozen semis pulled into a parking lot, the drivers seemingly talking/visiting with each other. Never seen this before. I just wondered if perhaps there are more of these slow-rolling trucker protests being planned? Of course I am just speculating, but I was thinking it even before reading Sundance’s story.
I wonder if this escalates to the point that Canada has a recall vote?
Trudeau would be forced to resign.
Doubt it would happen, but there’s going to be some very unhappy voters. Nothing focuses a Politician better than aggravated voters.
The only way the little TURD gets recalled is with the rope/tree solution.
Daughter in Lake Havasu just told me her Walmart which was open to 11 pm is now temporarily closing at 8pm. She also said that Walgreens opens later and closes earlier.
Anyone else seeing shorter hours of operation?
Fast food restaurants in my area – not all but some close pretty early due to staffing shortages.
S Indiana fast food is drive thru only except for Chik filet due to lack of help
Yes. For some time.
The photo she sent me says starting January 16th on Walmart.
Many businesses in SW Ohio are on short hours due to lack of staff.
Yes, here in Tucson, AZ. Restaurants and stores cutting their hours.
Yesterday, we called a local store to order some pizza from their Italian deli, but they were closing at 4 PM. I was shocked and the worker who answered my call stated that it was because of the shortage of workers. Only one person currently making pizza. This is a very nice store that used to open early and close at 9 PM.
Many restaurants have cut hours/days open. If you dine out, the few waiters are harried and overworked – not enough servers for all of the tables. Food portions are smaller, too. And some only do takeout, now.
This is an article by Rabbi Chananya Weissman, it is about evil. Why it is so difficult for people to understand the evil of vaccine mandates.

We have reached the point, the tipping point where the enemy is consistently “cutting off their nose, to spite their face”, and creating martyers.
“Cancel” Joe Rogan and OANN, and their viewership INCREASES.
Australia with the tennis champ.
And, the enemy can’t help themselves. They can not, and will not “back down” as THEY framed this as an EXISTENTIAL battle, either they prevail, or they are defeated, they can not, and will not compromise.
Having sat hours at the crossing point outside Buffalo, NY on a “normal day in the summer” … this will go over like a wet fart in phone booth in winter if there is heavy automobile traffic at the crossing point. Especially if the crossing points are short staffed by the faux-demic.
Hopefully allot of the people caught in any traffic jams are soy boys in electric cars.
Most of the trucks I see on the road today have a large AUX Tank of fuel mounted.
My father stated trucking back in the early 1940’s before the Interstate System was built. They had to go up the Emlenton mountain in Pa. on route 208, a steep grade on the west side of town. The first time he went up he felt a bump in back of him. Another truck was helping push. It wasn’t unusual to have a line of a half dozen trucks pushing each other up the hill. Truckers stuck together way back then!
My uncle swears he hauled a piano on a 48′ flatbed to Jerome Arizona. He was also one of the full time drivers who hauled the King Tut exhibit throughout the USA back in the 70s. I know the King Tut story to be fact – not sure about Jerome
If your uncle was like dad he had many stories to tell. Good and bad! Growing up I got to play in the 40’s and 50’s International truck cabs dad had.
I saw the King Tut exhibit back then at the Field museum in Chicago! An amazing thing.
I saw it in the Museum of Man in San Diego. Awesome.
Wow … I know that hill and this is likely a good story. We used to drive through there on the way to Tioga County to hunt with my Uncles who lived on the NY Border, when I was a boy. The real marvel was all the years we drove through watching the I-80 Bridge being built across the gorge.
Then you know the bridge is much more impressive looking up at it instead of being on it looking down!
I swear it’s like they have knowledge and compassion for the people driving trucks and cars around them. Truckers are awesome and always have been. We have compassion for them too. There is a Food Lion truck I see quite often at my Food lion trying to make the turn into the parking lot from a small road. I always stay back far enough away for it to make the turn giving it room. I always get a happy wave from the driver.
A friend of mine and her five siblings grew up in a cramped apartment because their trucker-father lost their house during the big trucker strike of the 70’s. He gave up a lot and his family suffered, but he wouldn’t budge. Don’t mess with truckers.
I got out of college in the 70s. I worked with two girls about the same age, maybe older a bit. Both tall, gorgeous and coulda been models elsewhere. They decided to quit our low paying job and go to some trucker school. They got their licenses and new jobs. Can’t help from wondering how they did. I’m sure the other truckers enjoyed looking at them.
We’ve been stocking the pantry and the freezer for some time now, but still feel we’ve not enough
But then, can you ever REALLY have “enough” when it comes to stupid like this?
I was thinking nearly the same thing this morning. We habe been following this on Treehouse for a long time, and consider ourselves in pretty good shape. And then you go to bed at night, and your mind starts to race. Almost like “did I leave the coffeemaker on” when leaving for a week-long vacation.
Or, did I shut the garage door when I left for work and you work 30+ miles away? 😉
Stocking up is only a first step, BECAUSE your surplus can only last so long.
The next step is to transition to SELF-SUSTAINING, which will supply you with necesities, indefinetly.
Just like stocking up, start small and build. ANYONE can grow your own SPROUTS, which are rich in nutrients, requre little space or effort.
A “window garden”, ebven if its only spices, can greatly reduce costs and enhance quality and nutrition, as well as give you experience to build on.
Once you use fresh oregano, at 1/10 the price of storebought, you’ll never go back!
Then, expand to vegetables and friuts,…
and, research “aquaponics”; gives you fruits, vegatables AND fish, and can be infinetly scaled from small, tabletop models on up.
Even in an apartment, you CAN grow your own!
Or reload ammunition and stockpile. Better than money.
Yup. And this is why we return to thinking about producing what we need instead of obtaining what we need.
My mother was born in 1905. I was born in 1944 (last of 7).
Our family never had to worry about having money to purchase:
beef, pork, poultry, milk (skim milk, whole milk, buttermilk, or cream), butter, cheese, potatoes, carrots, onions, asparagus, rhubarb, peas, beans, sweets/desserts, homemade ice cream, eggs, pickles, etc. etc. etc.
We needed cash for fresh fruit (which was purchased by the bushel and then canned) and for flour, vinegar, sugar, oatmeal, cheerios, salt, pepper, cocoa, spices, and such.
We never purchased ice cream, candy, soda, potato chips or any kind of prepared food (such as pizza). No tobacco or liquor products. No paper products except cheap everyday napkins.
My mother prepared pies, cookies, cakes, breads, the best donuts on earth, all year-round.
We ate great. No one was overweight.
My grandparents were born in the 1890s and raised 15 children. Many of those children lived to be 100 yrs and no doubt whatsoever it is because family farmers had Much better food during there formative years.
I remember helping to a small degree with farm chores, hunting, gardening, and I know if push comes to shove I can survive.
Inner city folk haven’t got a chance if the trucks stop for more than a couple of days.
Especially if the power goes out. They’ll be eating each other within two weeks.
We do that when the mood strikes.
You so bad.
I was just telling a woman, born in 1939, that when my maternal grandmother died at 87 she left my grandfather 3 years worth of canned and frozen foods. He lived to 95 and was born in 1899 @ 14 lbs. She knew she had cancer, but no one else did.
Eat half of what your family normally eats and you food supply will keep twice as long as you stocked.
Drink extra tea and coffee to fill your bellies up and leave the milk for the children only…
Right. We’re set for a few months. Hopefully local farms will have enough capacity to supply the area after that….
This is what it will take to wake up the sheep.
When they cant get the food they want, or need, then they will get mad. The truckers are a different breed, and the idiots in politics dont seem to get it. I drove a long hauler for 2 years, its a lot of sacrifice and not much credit. Its a tough job, and then they do this to them? Insane man….
We went out today and spent a grand on dry goods and canned stuff, and topped up the freezers. Me and the misses are sitting pretty, along with having enough for family and neighbors if the need arose. along with the more serious issues of self protection., I am not worried about myself and mine for now.
Stay alert. Stay safe. Be prepared. Watch your backs and watch your people’s too.
Its a dangerous time for everyone, as long as this continues. I do not ever count out a large war, to deflect from the failure of this plandemic. The fact the Dem Rats went to Ukraine to meet with the Gov, tells me they fully plan on confronting Putin, when it is not our fight.
We are going to be in tough for the next little while.
Pray and stay the course.
My USN hubby is on standby, to be deployed to Russia. It’s about to hit the fan, I believe.
I’m so glad you said this.
I’ve been doing this for months and am constantly thinking I need more.
Was starting to think I was becoming a hoarder like those people on a TV show.
