The empty shelf problems in/around DC last weekend were mostly due to regional weather and employment issues. However, the snapshot represents an example of how people react to their first encounter. The conditions in the video represent a worst case scenario for those who have been watching the supply chain issue coming over the horizon. {Go Deep}
I doubt our average 2022 result will be this bad overall, however, there are areas where this might be the status. For most people outside urban areas, this severity of a food store shortage is unlikely, unless the federal government gets involved. If the federal government intervenes, this will be more common.
We know from prior examples, if these types of conditions were to last for just 72 hours across every store in a metropolitan region, you would see a level of panic begin. Civic stability remains relatively stable for 72 hours (3 days). However, if these conditions are persistent for more than 3 days, the general mindset of the population changes quickly. Things rapidly deteriorate. After three days, all reference points for civic norms are gone.
Those who remember Miami-Dade, specifically the Homestead region, in the aftermath of hurricane Andrew have a solid reference for what happens. New Orleans after hurricane Katrina was a lesser, albeit more public version. Hunger, fear and desperation are not a good combination.
{Background on Larger Issues HERE}

We’re getting exactly what the Dominion machines voted for and exactly what the DNC/MSM/GOP establishment wanted for their voters.
Can I get a Big Amen to that, Workingman!
BIG AMEN!!!
As Ed Koch (former NYC mayor after losing to David Dinkins) famously put it: “The people have spoken, and now they must be punished.”
… and it did not take long for the “people” involved to find out how true Koch’s words were!
I’m afraid the “people” he was referring to didn’t think he meant them.
And the Biden Crime Cartel spent their Thanksgiving at the mansion of the founder of Carlyle Group, which owns Dominion, David Rubenstein
(Lunch Bucket) Joe Biden is spending Thanksgiving at private-equity billionaire’s Nantucket home

And the last place any Heritage American is going to want to be is anywhere near Democrat cultural marxist “Diversity”. I hope all the good people are in Flyover country with the America loving Deplorables. Be allot safer
All the good people are not in “Flyover country”.
Every blue state and every blue metro area has thousands and thousands of good people.
However, those “good people” will be prepared and will have their feet on the ground with regard to how to manage.
There are thousands and thousands of good people within blue areas, and those good people have known for decades and decades that meat doesn’t come from the store, eggs don’t come from the dairy section, potatoes don’t come from the farmers’ market, and snacks don’t come from the candy and chip aisle.
I hope all the good people who are in Flyover country understand that the blue people in the blue metro areas with their recent antifa experience and familiarity with violence will indeed be traveling to Flyover country to take what they need.
The good people in Flyover country should not be so ignorant as to assume that they are actually “allot safer”.
About 20 years ago, the good farmers in western Minnesota (over 200 miles from any large city) had to completely change how they transported and stored thousands of gallons of anhydrous ammonia after the bad people from the large city found out where they could get the supplies they needed for their drug manufacturing (got it for nothing, because it was standing out in the field overnight as it had for decades).
The good people in Flyover country had better be wide awake, armed, and informed. They have no reason for smugness at any level.
As an ex-pat from a ethnically cleansed Democrat ruined city and state I am smug to say “I am allot safer”. That is a fact. I feel so smug that I live where I do, I thank god I got out years ago. I also thank god my father got out before he was murdered by a Democrat.
“be traveling to Flyover country to take what they need.” GL with that Sharon
I’m always pleased when I hear my neighbors target practicing. They likely have the same reaction when they hear us.
In my area it hasn’t let up
I really love hearing that people are practicing for protection. Living in a small city means there’s no nearby target practice area for me so I’m going to purchase one of the laser kits for home target practice. Looks like a great alternative and you can use your own gun.
Loads of ex-military here and ex-pats from Rhodesia & SA. Some of my cousins are Army now. Airborne.
I live in a CC state with no Democrat cesspools near me. Perhaps we will have to take cues from the farmers in SA & Rhodesia and heavily fortify and guard ourselves from the democrat communists here like they have to do there, the ones not murdered or ethnically cleansed.
Salutations to you friend.
might consider hurricane shutters. glad i live in florida and already have them.
There is much truth being spoken on this article’s comment section tonight.
When my wife and I moved into our first house, one snowy morning there were footprints in the snow around the house, some at the windows. The next day we went out into the side yard and chased cans with a 9mm for over an hour going through a couple of hundred rounds. Lots of people checked us out.
There were no more footprints around the yard that we did not make.
but her warning is not a bad thing. forewarned is forearmed.
“Farmers organized themselves into mutual defense units. In Rhodesia they were usually reservists of the British South Africa Police, while in South Africa they were under the umbrella of the local Commandos (military units that protected their own area, drawing on locals for their manpower and equipped for internal security operations as well as military missions). Many were issued with (or acquired by “other means”) assault rifles, sub-machine-guns and other weapons of war. When one farm was attacked, its residents would alert other farms and their local defensive unit by means of a radio network, whereupon a reaction squad would gather as quickly as possible to go to their aid. Sometimes terrorists would try to ambush responders, which led to some large-scale firefights.”

Kinda like a neighborhood watch system:)
In our house is 40k rounds of ammo for each rifle and pistol, backed up with 20k primers, 20lbs of powder and enough brass to not worry about it. I also have enough water and stored food to last until June-July.
Fresh chicken, eggs, bacon and beef are all on site.
We will be fine, thanks.
XOXO,
A Deplorable in Flyover Country
Dont advertise bud,,, OPSEC
You may be, but not everyone who lives around you will be.
My late husband and I lived in rural farm country like that we had grown up in in the 1950s…we lived there for 18 years from the early ’90s on.
I can guarantee you from personal relationships with friends and neighbors and relatives who considered themselves safe and rural and all had guns and lots of ammo, that many of them were absolutely clueless and refused to believe that not everyone was their friend. That they should not feel sorry for everyone who came to their door.
That they should not turn their small towns over to Lutheran Social Services who were flying Bosnians and Somalians in by the hundreds/per/planeload.
They just kept on giving and leaving their doors unlocked and losing much of what they produced.
There are a lot of foolish and ignorant farm country people .
I was talking about them. I was not talking about you. Everyone is not as smart as you are, Dee.
I also have available to me EVERY SINGLE THING you list that you have. I also have things beyond what you list and have learned skills recently that I would NEVER tell about on this site or any other…. . And I’m in the blue state of Oregon.
Every state’s population is not static and 100% the same when you drive up every driveway.
Yup! Don’t advertise, don’t brag don’t say anything. The nice guy down the road
who always waves when you drive by will take it from you when the troubles come.
When grocery stores are empty for too long, people consider your home the new place to get food. Sadly, we either learn to love and care for one another or perish at each other’s hands.
Slainte!
A lot of 60:40 areas in Blue states. In fact theblue states are controlled by the big cities. The rural and small cities were enslaved by the the 1960s Democrat U.S. Supreme Court case of Reynolds v. Sims which Judical fiat declared unconstitutional State Senates based on geography thereby eliminating a check and balance and making the states monopoly Democrat big cities dictators over the whole state.
Part of a solution could be to create an electoral college style system for the individual State governments with electors by county/municipality.
Your eyes are wide open.
Good advice Sharon
Don’t worry Sharon, we are. Good Luck
Nicely stated Sharon. Thank you for reminding everyone. I live near a gun range and I love love love the sound of it. Cheers me up! Flyover country is prepared. Even the Amish have hunting rifles.
However, no matter how tucked away I may be, I know that in a collapse, the gangs who’ve had a helluva lot more “training” than most of us, will be moving out of the cities in search of what they need. I am under no illusions. Everyone absolutely should be aware and ready.
#FJB
My family is that family you all called “crazy preppers” going back to the 90’s.
Maybe we were then, but we aren’t now… 😉
Hungry savages will roam as far afield as necessary to fill their bellies (at your expense).
Hard to roam too terribly far for too terribly long if there are no car parts and if gas is $7 a gallon.
I worry as much or more about being able to go on a rescue mission into deep blue territory and get back safe as I do about food supplies.
Living a real life Walking Dead episode.
Pardon me Sharon, but you do not have the right mojo for a looter.
Colkitto,
American municipalities are the dead ends of US society, where the worst features of our culture incubate.
All are run by variously pure Marxists who are voted into power by those who tolerate bathing in corruption and utopian fantasy simultaneously.
You have to live in a smaller locale to get away from the deluded detritus, or at least have a shot at them being in a minority.
What is happening from the “Blue State” where I was born is that the Democrat communists destroyed is, the Democrat” “Diversity” are coming up from the taken over Democrat cities/sh–holes and robbing cars and houses in the white snowflake towns that are 1-2 towns away where they thought they could be cool and vote Democrat and yet be far enough away from their insane policies. Wrong. They are soon going to be looting businesses and homes and murdering them if this goes as predicted. No Police, no Laws. Wonder if they will ever think about how America got to this stage? I think they will blame PDJT all the way to the grave.
We just ordered two packages of seeds.
I don’t care if I look like a nut. We are planting a big garden this year, and I’m getting two heifers brought over. I’ll order chickens in the spring.
Friday a whole bunch of us meet to plan for the worst case.
DD
Don’t forget a bull for the heifers.
My neighbor does AI services for most folks out here. Which is a relief because I couldn’t handle a bull.
Thank you for the seed info –
You don’t look like a nut. You look like my dad and mom, my 16 uncles and 14 aunts (two unclaimed blessings there….) in the 1940s and 1950s.
Never had much but worked hard and never ever went hungry.
Yeah, when the prepper stuff started I thought what is the problem that is how I’ve lived my whole life. My grandma would have been shocked!
Do not be surprised that FEMA may decide at some point that they can requisition your crops in a National Emergency to feed other people with no compensation to you.
They will not only take your crops, but they will take the food you have stored and charge you with hoarding.
Exactly.
Very much a collectivist solution to go after the prudent ones after having caused the problem in the first place.
The good thing is that the proggies are soooo fey and weak that they won’t be able to build the gulags they want us in…. or hold up a rifle long enough to force of one of use to do the work as it will be tooooooo heavvvvvvvvy….
With all due respect, I think you are making an incorrect assessment of the enemy. They will be as strong and cruel as you cannot probably imagine. And watch carefully for the women of that tribe when the time come. They will be even worse than the men and not because they are defending their brood. They will be plain vicious just for the sake of it.
Remember about ten years ago when Michigan authorities confiscated and destroyed fresh milk, eggs, etc. from a co-op.
Yup, ALL will be rationed, and your vax passport will be needed, to getvyour ration stamps.
Hording WILL be condemned, and even BLAMED for the shortages (they already sewed the seeds, during the TP shortage, remember?)
Under a declared Federal Emergency, the govt can “take over” virtually all companies, in all sectors, and run them as the technocrats see fit.
The Emergency powers were greatly expanded and clarified, during Obummer years.
You will have nothing we don’t “give” you, you will WORK where we tell you, produce what we tell you, live where we tell you and LIKE it.
I would sooner die on my feet than live on my knees as a slave.
Dutchman,
They think that way, for sure, but they are slow to realize they are outnumbered, and would be in bandit country were they to push their luck.
Suffice it to say that my local friends are communicating and aware of their surroundings.
That’s going to harder for them to get out of this old lady than they expect.
Destruction of the family/small farms:
The 1974 UN World Food Conference in Rome outlined the necessity of maintaining sufficient world grain reserves, especially since the price of world grain had shot up dramatically via the huge increase in oil price during the early 1970s oil crisis (at one point world oil prices had risen by 400 percent). US export strategy in the 1970s was to further control food supplies. This led to moves to consolidate power as 95 percent of all grain reserves in the world were under the control of six multinational agribusiness corporations – Cargill Grain Company; Continental Grain Company; Cook Industries, Inc; Dreyfus; Bunge Company; and Archer Daniels Midland – all US-based companies. The US long-term strategy was to dominate the global market in grain and agriculture commodities, as outlined in the early 1970s by Richard Nixon. This policy coincided with taking the dollar off the gold exchange standard in August 1971 to make US grain exports competitive in the rest of the world. However, in order for the US to become the world’s most competitive agribusiness producer, it had to replace traditional American family-based farming with the now-widespread huge “factory-farm” production. In other words, traditional agriculture was systematically replaced with agribusiness production through changes in domestic policy. For example, domestic farm programs that had previously protected smaller farm incomes were phased out during Nixon’s term in office. This policy was then exported to developing countries in a bid to make US agribusiness more competitive and to get a hold into foreign markets:
It’s shocking what has happened to small farms in the US. I came home from the hospital to a farm under of 200 acres. It’s been in our family for over 100 years. It’s no longer farmed by anyone in our family but leased out.
Here in Indiana, my husband said the farmers here are mostly working for corporations. Very sad.
The following explains how much of the destruction of our family farms happened. My family is part farm, part city. It makes me sad just like how the Democrats just destroyed so many family businesses through their Covidia to know about the farms. All the best to you and yours. Stay safe and I hope you have good neighbors/ family nearby in case we go Rhodesia/ SA
https://shareverything.com/2016/05/23/kissinger-control-food-and-you-control-the-people/
I’ve come to think that Richard Nixon was a very evil man. Maybe it wasn’t him but he allowed it and he instigated it. He opened us up to China, he took us off the gold standard and he helped undermine family farms. None of this was good for America or the world.
Agreed. Keep in mind his handler was the war criminal Kissinger, who is an agent for….look it up sometime.
All the best
Unfortunately, we are not Chinese.
Read a while ago that we would be allocated 250 square feet of living space per person. Hubby and I would be forced to take in 5 people in our 1750 square foot home.
Some of them will try
Yes.
During the depression years when the economy collapsed and the weather offered up the Dust Bowl, and there were no crops for several years in a rose in the upper Midwest (Montana/Dakotas, etc) the government paid by father and his neighbors a few cents a pound. They were forced to sell their final cattle so that the government could give them to the Indian reservations in the region, where the Indians were starving.
My father in later years told the story of him and his cousin taking their last few head of cattle to the train-railhead about 6 miles from our farms. They walked those few cattle to that train station to be loaded up and taken out.
On the way back home, the two of them got to laughing because they had checked their pockets and realized that between the two of them they had such a tiny amount of money to their name. It was way, way, little amount….I don’t know the exact amount any more and don’t want to invent a number just for the sake of the story.
They laughed uproariously, and kept on walking until they got back to their separate farms. These were men who had nothing left to lose. Except their own lives and the lives of their growing children.
So they talked and walked, laughed, and went home, and got up the next morning and went back to work with whatever materials and potential remained.
Twenty years later, when I was about 8 or 9, I heard the two of them still tell the story and laugh at the ridiculousness of what they had been brought to.
Of our 1200 acre dryland farm, my dad lost about 50 acres of it to the bank–a separate parcel that he let go when he simply did not have the cash to pay the taxes.
The banker was devastated at what he had to do and told my dad, “You will have first option to repurchase it whenever you are able.” Some years later, Daddy bought it back.
men who had nothing left to lose… but a war came up to occupy their time and sense of duty.
Had that not been the case, I often wonder how long the people would have continued standing around laughing about it….
“The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’.
They try, so very hard to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love.
They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it.
They know the moment they fight back, the lives as they have lived them, are over.
The moment the ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’ are forced to fight back, it is a small form of suicide. They are literally killing off who they used to be.
Which is why, when forced to take up violence, these ‘Men who wanted to be left Alone’, fight with unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives.
They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who are merely play-acting at politics and terror.
TRUE TERROR will arrive at the Left’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy, but it will fall upon deaf ears.”

Profoundly sad to contemplate the need to make such a choice.
My dad had already served in WWI. My brothers and their friends served in WW II and Korea.
They weren’t laughing because they didn’t think it mattered. It was trench humor to keep them going.
I served from 77-81. Carter / Reagan years in Strategic Air Command.
We had laughed at some pretty crazy stuff back then. If we didn’t, we’d
all have gone nuts.
Being a sitting duck will do that to you. Even in times of “peace”.
They better bring along their own medics.
Especially the ones who will slap a tourniquet on a leg for an abrasion from a rubber bullet and push their hand into the inguinal/groin area while the proggie marxist victim thrashes in pain from the initial abrasion, the tourniquet, and the pressure at the groin…. (See the youtube video of Angry Cop). That guy kills it every time.
is that what you plan to allow?
Allow? See my comment above at 6:35.
I will not be giving consent and will not go peacefully with the threat of force.
“Who Dares Wins”
Salutations sir.
forsee some pink spray surprises coming to FEMA foreheads.
We right there with you!!
We get avg 12 eggs a day from our chickens. We started canning from our first “survival seeds” order last year. I’m not a hunter but, I shot small doe first of December and canned 3/4 of it. I’m not against hunting, I just never HAD to do it before. Our nearest grocery store is 21 miles but it’s an IGA. They are filling empty shelves with brands I never heard of but are most times better than the original. Most of the suppliers are small and local. They also sell local produce. For the first time in my life I can meats cheaper at the local butcher.
The ant and the grasshopper fits and best to be the ant.
Thanks so much for the photo and bring up seeds! I’m going to look into it.
Here is a place in Oregon that as non-hybrid, organic seeds.
http://www.heirloom-organics.com/
Good idea! We are talking about planting cold hardy crops (some in containers) now – like spinach, lettuce, etc. Just harvested beets and carrots, and I think we may be able to start potatoes soon.
What zone are you in? Interested in when to plan potatoes. I’m in the 5-6 split.
Prepare to keep the deer out of that garden. They can munch thru a family’s canning rations in one night, especially during the rut.
Don’t forget to sow marigolds between the rows. Bugs love heirloom varieties!
Fantastic suggestion have been wondering if too early to order seeds. Found a version for Canadian climates and getting a herb package also.
Order chickens now! get on list. Mcmurrey hatchery. Road ILand do best even below zero condition.
Replacing our ageing fleet.
I’ve been sending my father articles from CTH on the economy, inflation, and coming shortages.
He called me recently to report that he’s been stocking up.
Yesterday, he called me and told me that the grocery section of his Walmart, in Phoenix, AZ, looked full but really wasn’t.
He said that the store had pulled everything toward the front of the shelves but each shelf was only one item deep.
They had also moved everything toward the front of the grocery department, shelves at the back of the department were bare.
In industry vernacular, zoning. With the CCP a shining example of a modern supermarket in a sparkling new city.
The Deep State will jiu-jitsu this.
‘The Shelves are Bare!!! You have to do something!!!’
‘Don’t worry, we’ll do something about those greedy profiteering bastards!’
Nationalization.
Bing.bing.bing. Winner. Pick up your prize.
Notice people like Sen. Warren say ring on the anti-trust, never the deregulation needed to create more competitive options.
Deregulation is the enemy of the politician. It eliminates their power.
Simple but quite true sir.
Damocrats should ask Venezuela and cuba how well that works
It worked well for Castro, Hugo, and Madero.
it’ll work out just fine for the ruling class.
I can just hear Massachusetts Senator, Liz Warren, screeching that now.
“Every society is three meals away from chaos” – Vladimir Lenin
What’s with quoting a communist on anything, besides being taken out of context.
We are in the process of living in the communist created environment. It’s appropriate.
Lavrentiy Beria: “Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime”.
Joe Biden: “It’s about who gets to count the vote – whether your vote counts at all”.
Believe that the original quote came from Uncle Joe Stalin, not Brandon. Just Saying
Know thy enemy
I always try to confirm the accuracy of quotes I use, and I found many references to that quote. However, I’ve found many other much-refenced quotes which after much digging I found were unconfirmed. I vaguely recall a Roman era comment like that one.
There are also many nine meals versions…:
https://www.barrypopik.com/index.php/new_york_city/entry/every_nation_is_about_nine_meals_away_from_a_revolution
…everyone claiming its an old saying, like this one:
The old maxim still has its ancient validity: “No man is farther than nine meals away from revolution.”
Anyway, since we in the US are devolving into a corporate-owned-government surveillance state and postmodernist (neo-Marxist) dystopia, I thought a commie quote would be appropriate.
It’s those darn insurrectionists, again, messing with the DC food supply.
if ever there was a city more deserving of getting the LAST truck of supplies, it is the imperial palace on the potomac.
The pieces of human trash in DC that have spent every waking minute of their miserable lives trying to dictate the lives of other people absolutely deserve some up close and personal accountability. Maybe in the form of starvation. Hopefully, the weather stays bad and in a few days they start eating each other.
No food.
No treats.
And no mean tweets!
All this by design, if 22 does not go violent that may be a surprise and a Blessing.
Just bought my son his 1/2 gallon of vanilla ice cream (ok, I sneak some in too 🙂 ) at Publix. I clearly remember in the Trump days where deals would be 2 for $5.00 or $2.50 each and normally 2.99. It has gone up to 3.39 recently with deals at 2 for $6.00. Today…………….1 for $4.50, but at least it’s still a full 1/2 gallon.
WTF, FJB!!!!!!!!!!
I needed a red bell pepper for a soup recipe. I was expecting not to see any at Publix ( Greenville, SC). Lo and behold…they had some, and they were so pretty. One red bell pepper was $4. Sigh…it was not to be.
Good lord!
Ouch, I had to get some stuff at Sam’s. Walked by the meat and 3 racks of baby backs were about 42 to 44, down from 52 last weekend. Needless to say, I still didn’t bite and none came home.
Really easy to grow bell peppers. When you harvest them de-seed, and keep the seeds. Wash, dry, slice, and freeze!
Saw bell peppers for $1.29 each. This in Woodman’s, (Employee Owned) Kenosha Wisconsin.
However, more empty shelve space, than two weeks previously.
Interesting observation in Costco. Their shelves are filled, appearance wise. However, there were many covered pallets, not plastic wrapped, but with heavy brown paper, with a designation of “DNI” (~Do Not Inventory???).
Without those pallets 1/3 shelves are empty.
Red bells are unusually high in vitamin C. Excellent source.
Oh yeah, remember the word “equitable”? Or like interfering in the distribution of monoclonal antibodies. Feds did that.
you can set your watch to when they start enforcing race-based rationing.
It might get a tad complicated when they have to sort people by jabbed once, jabbed twice, jabbed three times, recalculate based on all the “races,” and then throw in the 57 “genders”…
Already happening in some areas with Monoclonal antibodies.
Whoever came up with #BareShelvesBiden deserves a prize. We’ll be seeing it more and more. And I suspect hearing a penny or two drop by those people who haven’t bothered to pay attention.
The more they pay attention, the faster they start to panic. Stay ahead of the curve.
Yes, the light bulbs will be going on all over the country, and they will not understand exactly how it is that we’ve all come to this. It was easy to see it in the faces and hear it in the voices of those interviewed above. Incredulity was apparent in every single one of them.
What struck me is that not one of them mentioned Biden at all.
The sign said the trucks were stuck up north. Even though this never happens on this scale during any other winter, nor does it happen in the northern snow belt regions, they chose to willingly accept this excuse without question.
What we can expect as the US goes USSSA:
Food shortages.
Just wait til the stock market crashes.
Right now, speaking from experience and habit (which I am trying to brea, reminding myself to seek ye first the kingdom of God), many of the people in that video are seeking mental comfort in remembering that their IRAs have been doing great and if things get really lean they’ll just tap them and go somewhere the groceries can be found.
Crushed IRA, little food, exorbitant prices, and hungry neighbors, the dots may just start to connect for the urban and suburban Dem voters.
More are armed than you think though. A lot of guns got bought in those areas in 2020.
Most do not understand that one of the four horseman that will be unsealed during the tribulation is going to be the price of food skyrocketing to a days wages:
Revelation 6:6 And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of wheat for a shilling, and three measures of barley for a shilling; and the oil and the wine hurt thou not.
Matthew 20:1-2 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that was a householder, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers into his vineyard. (2) And when he had agreed with the laborers for a shilling a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
Believe me, Alex, I am.
surprised the tech Nazis haven’t started “fact checking” and shadow banning the term.
I wouldn’t know because I don’t frequent any of the sites that do that…
They sorta did. Deboosted and eliminated auto fill today.
Apparently this is moving through the country. We are seeing g the same type of “wipe out” here in south Texas. Hoping our shorter supply chain can recover quickly.
In your case, its because the trucks were stuck over east.
Somebody tell Joe I’m sure he ‘ll be shocked
The funny part of food scarcity is the politicians cant regulate it acording to color like they are doing with covid treatment
You are right. Hunger knows no party.
I wouldn’t be so sure about that.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
i would bet my entire paycheck we’ll see multiple attempts at race-based rationing soon.
Its not that big a leap really…from no Happy Meal to full on Donner Party. Not that big a leap at all.
Pappy meal.
Starvation humor.
Congressional roast
Wait until the Ghetto Rats can’t buy food with their EBT cards. You will see rioting like never before. All those WHITE LIBERALS living in the rich neighborhoods better be getting some good security because the Ghetto rats will be storming their buildings looking for food.
In New York I hope they make a house call on the new governor, Chicago to Mayor Lightfoot and so on. I’m sure Pelosi will share her ice cream.
AOC will demand/recommend the Venezuelan solution: Washington residents will receive a coupon, good for a free bag of rice. Just take it to the empty grocery store. You’re welcome.
Her constituents at least have the Brooklyn Zoo as Plan B for food.
“Hey, Maria…. the porcupine has eets own toothpeeks!”
These poor pathetic fools and tools with their masks…
All outside with their face diapers on.
New promo BOGO. Buy one get out. If you’re lucky.
Bring it on. I am stocked up and ready for things to get very real for all the deceived. Let’s Go Brandon.
Old Joe promised a long hard cold winter and now we know what he meant. Cost of heating, food, gasoline up and now food shortages. Could fuel shortages be next? Could the next deadly disease be coming illegally across the border with the Biden gang sending it to unsuspecting communities across the US?
” For most people outside urban areas this severity of a food store shortage is unlikely, unless the federal government gets involved.”
As Shakespeare would say:
‘There’s the rub.”
For this event Washingtonians WON’T want riots in the cities, so they will “mandate” corporations in all food distribution to deliver to the big cities first & foremost.
Simultaneously the Pravda media will broadcast the reason is “Equity”.
Those in the suburbs and deep open & free America who voice anger and objection will be deemed…
You guessed it !
Racist/Supremacists.
FIRST you create the crises, THEN you gyn up public demanf for the Feral govt to “DO SOMETHING” and THEN you institute the liberty stealing, freedom stifling Feral govt enlarging policies that you wanted in the FIRST place, and that was the REASON you created the crises, in the beginning.
And, you can create multiple crises, and multiple “solutions that never solve” simultaneously.
Spot on. Thesis vs Antithesis=Synthesis
“There’s the VapoRub.” W. Shakespeare with Omicron
Doesn’t matter. Flyover country grows their own.
My red line: step on my property without my permission and I’ll blow your head off. Just sayin.
I wonder where the majority of truckers live, and who they think should have priority 🤔
And this is the reason why all the looting of the high-end stores in LA and SF was allowed.
You have a problem? You’re hungry? We’ve shown you one possible solution.
What more can we do?
Looting an empty grocery store, doesn’t seem to have much benefit.
Its like looters “flash mob” a grocery store, only to find empty shelves, with Brandon “I did that!” stickers, lol.
Now if we can just blockade D.C. and let the situation run its course.
Yes build a barbed wire fence around DC with armed guards to control the hoarding of politicians, buraeucrats, and federal employees! I’m sure they have the bunkers filled to the brim in the tunnel network underground! It was their idea to defraud America installed illegitimate Biden behind barbed wire fences with armed military troops guarding the private ceremony called a “coup” anywhere else in the world! The press has turned on Americans like the feds and report lies and propaganda. The arrogant politicians would be furious but not as furious as patriots sick and fed up with 50 years lies, deceit! DoD Fauci Obama Clinton Bush are all in this and Pence! I pray God will continue to have these evil ones expose theirselves! Pray for America and justice for those falsely accused! I pray for justice for all those who died from the evil plott to murder us! I pray dear Lord to keep my heart in check with your will obeying your laws and truth. “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” Proverbs 4:23 ❤ Forgive of us our sins and all who seek your holy word. God bless America and make a way out for the millions of Christian Americans to keep our Republic. In the sweetest name of Jesus I pray. Jan
This will get fixed when looters show up and get pi55ed at the o’biden regime.
Blood shortage right now as well. For countless people with a wide array of diseases and illnesses, as well as those with acute medical problems that require transfusions, blood transfusions are literally a lifeline.
https://www.theblaze.com/news/american-red-cross-blood-shortage-emergency
I’m not sure the unjabbed should give blood as they are being denied organ transplants and other types of medical care.
Overseas, it is not unheard to pay one’s blood donor directly for hospitals with a “arrange one unit, get one unit” policy
In France, Death by Vax = Suicide
“If you’re a Frenchman with a life insurance policy, and you die as a result of the vax, the insurance company does not have to pay the contractual amount to your beneficiaries, because your death is considered a suicide. This is official, mind you, as confirmed by a court ruling.”
https://gatesofvienna.net/
I said ages ago that the insurance companies would find a way to not pay out on deaths by “vaccine”.
It should be criminal but so far it isn’t.
I do think the world is waking up. I pray it is not too late.
And More Bore, I won’t make any overt comments online and hope others don’t either.
I would suggest if you don’t have them already (Miss Jones and to all others of good will here) to check out Eufy doorbell survelliance system and or Adorcam. They do not require a monthly fee, can run on batteries or electric and are easy to hook up.
We’re good. We have one paid and one non-subscriber system in place.
If you’re prepping, two is better than one. 😀
Old hippy guy actually thought he would have “heard about it on the news”???!!!!
Yikes, dude. >>> Wake. Up. !!!
Looks like he’s headed for starvation w/ a smile on his face.
Sunny,
My response approximately.
Maybe the dope is about to experience his first mugging, as in “a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged”?
Yeah, I know unlikely. Too much hippie confirmation bias.
Remember Andrew very well, then 2004 with 4 storms in 6 weeks.
Still have the generator ( Our Lady of blessed dynamo) , 13 days for Frances and 7 days for Jeanne.
Grocery stores had waste management trucks putting food directly in hopper, no dumpsters as people would take the spoiled goods.
I wonder if Nasty Peloxi has trouble filling her twin SubZero fridges at her DC lair.
She’s moving to Florida.
Well, you know, at least we don’t have mean tweets. <eyeroll>
We’ve got 300 billion useless vaccines, they are trying to force people to eat them.
In all seriousness, I’m not sure whether to laud these people for their calm understanding or to wonder if they’ll be caught totally off guard if and when these conditions persist.
They seem to have accepted the damage Potato Joe has done to the economy as a just fact of life. No concept that in years past, this never happened – snowstorm excuse or not.
Exactly what they deserve
To further DC cratering….
Let the tourist cancellations begin
https://iotwreport.com/dc-starting-saturday/
Yep. The bulk of DC tourists are people who like America from flyover country. They are less likely to be jabbed.
Frankly, DC has been pretty unpleasant since the initial 2 weeks to stop the spread. It’s bleak.
good
I love how she says Prrof of vaxx and Photo ID for 18+… does she feel the same way about voting? If it’s racist to ask for ID to vote, then it must be racist to ask for ID to go to a movie theater, right? 🥴🥴🥴
I made it out to a fairly popular Twin Cities grocery store yesterday. Most everything in stock…but did notice some very thin shelf inventory in certain area…especially the power drinks areas. I could have bought any kind of meat…but I have noticed for the last 4 or so months that there is a lot more Turkey floor space. Anyhow….no crisis here in Minnesota at this time.
JoeBama’s Dark Winter. All of this is intentionally done.
My fear is that as shelves become more empty, criminal elements become more prevalent. Home breakins for necessities will be next.
GLWT – No TV dinners in my freezer. Everything must be prepared by hand.
Home invasion that forces you to prepare them a home cooked meal! The horror of having to serve a bunch of democrats!
During the oil embargo when gas became scarce, people started siphoning gas. Everybody had to start buying locking gas caps for their cars.
I would expect if things got bad, people would start siphoning food.
And then cars all started being manufactured with locking gas caps, as well as radios that don’t work when torn out.
(I still have my early libertarian appreciation for problems that can be solved simply by letting free people use their brains. But much of what we’re dealing with now is no longer in that category…because tyranny…)
If you’re in San Francisco, though, couldn’t you just steal it to the tune of $950?
Then the feds will trot out their own police force.
Hope some of them like to eat lead…
Yet another illustration of the trade off of the durability of redundancy, for the efficiency of JIT delivery system.
JIT now has been adoped universally for ALL “supply chains” be it electricity, food or fuel.
Like trading liberty for security, it is inherently a bad deal, because although JIT does actually deliver on its promise of lower costs thru efficiency, when the system brakes, and it will the costs to fix the resulting mess far outweigh the efficiency benefits.
In other words “Just in Time” right up until not at all, for a long time.
Just what we want, for supplying VITAL resources like food and energy!
Just in time on a slow boat from China.
Dutch,
Excellent point.
Which is why, if you have a brain, you don’t reside in a US city of any size, and you have paid attention to the situation, and are well stocked up…..in as many ways as you can control.
DC Residents Shocked to See Grocery Store with No Food
Good. I lived there for 15 years and it was eye opening. I hope they turn to cannibalism. Let the Bureaucrats feed off each other instead of us for a change.
I said the day after Election Day 2020, “We are Venezuela.”
Congrats to the Socialists!
I hope you like dog and cat meat.
Long pig
My words were “from a Constitutional Republic to a banana republic”.
If it gets bad,
it will be FJBs legacy
”Remember when we had that food shortage in ‘22?”
”Yeah. FJB”
“I didn’t hear about this anywhere”
True !
Imagine what else you all don’t know about.
So Cold! So Good!
Guess that you were listening to “Fake News”.
Was this involuntary Red pilling??🤔🤔🤔
Remember early on in the COVID pandemic, how food supplies/inventory were low and rationing was prevelent. Chicken, milk, pork, etc…..empty meat markets?
P Trump wasted no time and reversed that course wthin weeks…..He put Purdue in attack mode and turned it around.
Oh how I miss P Trump. And our wonderful First Lady Melania.
I remember.
I bought 20 LBs of chicken breast at our butcher.
Pretty much cleaned out the chicken breast in the window.
The guy behind me asked, “Is that all for you?”
”And my family”, I answered.
He looked down and shook his head.
My dog is on a prescription diet, part of which is boiled chicken breasts. At a Walmart, I loaded 3 packages into cart when some “associate” asked me the same thing. No, I said, it’s for my dog and threw in another package! I thought this guy was gonna blow!!! FJB!!
Our dog had cancer. if he was hungry and I was eating steak. He got the steak.
Grocers do not understand this… and you can’t explain it to them.
Yeah, know where you’re coming from. GOD gives us Dogs…..! 🙂
Dogs are family.
If Trump was Prez, this wouldn’t even have happened.
It’s been so intentional, every step of the way. Breaking every part of the system to get to this result.
Said to Hubby last night, NONE of this would be happening with the rightful leader at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It’s astounding how fast and hard we are collapsing.
Let them eat cake!
I wonder if they’ll be setting up special grocery stores for the government bureaucrats like they had in the Soviet Union.
After a while those Party stores aren’t so hot.
From a research lab on field assignment:
In 1982 I got to shop in the Party store in a Soviet client state after my baggage was lost inbound and only had a carry-on to live out of for three weeks. There wasn’t anything worth buying even in slight desperation.
We had to behave ourselves extra and no cameras – we were told it was assumed we were CIA. Although various Russian guys could be friendly, the country was a zoo.
There could be famine in Washington DC and they would still vote 95% for the Democrat party.
There are normal people in every big city. They are there doing the jobs of making daily life work for the maniacs. The maniacs are incapable of doing those jobs.
The no-longer-quite-so-silent majority is all around. Everywhere.
But the Taliban are going to get $308,000,000 of our tax money in cash to “feed Afghanis”!!!! (uh….why not let the Pakistanis, the HOME of the Taliban, (and the jerks who prolonged the war over there and knowingly hid OBL for almost a decade ) and or the Saudi’s foot the bill since they are soooo in touch with their ummah fellowship crap…. just like none of the OIC at the UN still NOT condemning China for Uiygur muslim genocide (basically only the US)
Speaking of islamic cultural norms, can we always print “FJB” after each mention of Biden just like they do “PBUH” after each mention of Big Mo?? Make it a habit.
I just call him Xiden, it’s shorter…
A local gal was trying to drum up donations for her church for “Afghan refugees”. Not a dime from me.
It’s happening.
Some of these people may be like my grandchildren – they have NO CLUE where the food comes from! My granddaughter thinks that meat comes shrink wrapped!
http://fxcuisine.com/Default.asp?language=2&Display=119&resolution=high&page=1
Show her this. We raise American Mulefoot hogs and this is how a Romanian family butcher here on the farm each year, a week before Christmas. Clean and neat and lovely edible pork. Not for the faint hearted.
I checked out the page on butchering hogs. Very interesting.
My family had a dairy with walk in refrigerated storage. Every year for Independence Day weekend, we would have a hog killing. We did not wait for cold weather.
Anyone that worked on the farm could help and almost all did. Our family would furnish hogs fattened on whey and milk waste. We would usually kill 10-15 hogs one day, hang the carcasses in the cooler and cut them up on Day two. That is the reason we needed a weekend.
Everyone got all of the pork they could use. My grandfather made sausage. My uncle cured hams and bacon and there were chops and roasts to everyone. It generally worked out to one hog’s worth of pork per family, more or less.
The whole tradition came to a screeching halt after the dairy inspector made a surprise visit and shut it down. He let us off with a warning with a promise to never do it again.
We always cleared the area of milk and completely cleaned everything before restarting the dairy. It did not matter. Government rules must be obeyed.
Communist regulations. I went to a local farm stand years ago and asked them if they had any apple or pies of any kind for sale. They said they had to stop because of regulations. Wiped out all of the local markets. But its ok to have open borders. This is all designed to use “Liberal” fake compassion laws to destroy.

I grew in a family that owns wholesale food and liquor distribution in the old country. My great-great grandfather was a butcher.
In my youth, the family owned stores, and a restaurant ( they still do ) so I was used to walking in the BIG coolers and freezers. BIG walk in… with beautiful slabs of veal hanging from hooks, and beer, BEER, sausages, cheese….
Then, I’d get taken along, in the summer, to the stockyards when my mom would go to pay the weekly bill.
I love the smell of freshly slaughtered veal and beef, hanging from hooks, over stone floors just hosed clean. Awesome. The best part was eating lunch ( the big meal is at 1PM) at their cafeteria…. the beef was always delicious.
Here in our 150 year old farm house in Maine, we have a “walk-in” fridge”. In the summer, fall and spring, it’s a walk-in-closet. In the winter…unheated, temps hang around 35º
Thx for posting this. Very interesting indeed and I appreciate the warnings as you scroll down.
I grew up doing that. and we traded eggs for milk with the dairy farmer down the road. I remember getting it hot in the jug and having to shake it up because the cream would separate in the fridge.
DC is a cesspit. They have the government they deserve.
in a just world they would be the first city cut off from the supply chain.
Generally, in totalitarian countries, the capital cities are provided for, while the hinterlands starve.
Dopey leftist visitors to Pyongyang (Capital of North Korea) come back insisting that they saw no shortages. And they weren’t allowed to leave Pyongyang for security reasons (they buy it).
The Democrat Fascist Party is a work in progress.
Like the Hunger Games.
It’s babylonian Bartertown. It has to be thoroughly fumigated.
One of my sisters once said to me, when I offered her some farm fresh eggs, “I’m not eating an egg that comes out of a chicken’s butt!!” I kid you not. Maybe she thinks eggs from the grocery store come from a far off fairyland where the fairies wave their magic wands over the cartons and beautiful eggs appear.
ROFLMAO
Does she think eggs come from the Cadbury bunny? 🤣
Thumbs up for the laugh
That’s funny, but sad at the same time. I’m in my middle 60s, and still grow and harvest my own food. There’s nothing like fresh eggs, fish, venison, and vegetables. My neighbor down the way just turned 95, and is the same way. You want chicken, go out grab one up and harvest it. This is the life I was born to live. I’ll never give it up.
right there with you Hilton.
I have 2 deers in the freezer. I will never give up this life.
too much food to be had. we never grow hungry.
Agree. What we have grown are generations of people who are soft. Who think their food comes from the grocery stores.
Moo!!!
she is about to get an education.
life isn’t like other teachers joyce. Life gives you the test first and the answers afterwards. if you survive
MY kids hunt. they KNOW where meat comes from.
heck, I have a 8 year old that has an ar15!!!!
teach them to be self sufficient first. then teach them to play
When I was about 10, I was already pretty proficient with the .22. One day when no one was at home, I got out my brother’s .303 British. I picked it up and went to the range, the big dirt pile behind the house we called a hay field. I had “borrowed” 4 or 5 cartridges and got down on my stomach just like the .22. I loaded up a round, aimed carefully and pulled it off.
Okay, that was not fun. That eight pound (m/l) monster slammed my shoulder pretty good and it was louder than I anticipated. A lot louder. I took out another cartridge and started to load. Nah. That was enough. Cleaned it up and put it back. Good thing my brother did not count ammo.
