Comrades, many American citizens stood jaw agape as they watched Australian metropolitan police departments begin cracking skulls and making arrests for violating COVID rules and restrictions. Yes, it always seemed like Australia, New Zealand and Europe were the beta testing ground to see if police would comply with jackboot arrests of their own community.
Well, now we can see those same tactics being deployed in the U.S.
New York City was the first large metropolitan area to require vaccination identification cards to enter restaurants, bars, dining establishments and various public and private venues. Now comes the enforcement part.

When asked why they would arrest their own community members simply for being unvaccinated and wanting to eat a sandwich, the police turn a deaf ear. This should not be a surprise. When it comes to getting their own paychecks, or putting food on their family’s table, just about every single police officer in the U.S. will load you in the cattle car…. while saying, “It’s just my job.”
We watched this escalate in Victoria, New South Wales and various regions throughout Australia, as well as France, Germany, Austria and regions in Europe. If things go as they did in previous examples, when/if the citizens of New York City begin to push back against this, there’s no reason to believe the NYPD will not respond with armored cars, riot teams and rubber bullets.
It is profoundly disturbing, sickening and wrong, but shouldn’t be too surprising given what we have witnessed in other countries. When push comes to shove, very few police will not participate; most will do exactly what they are told by the local and state officials.
NYPD is the first to start showing their jackbooted nature. Next will likely be Chicago and Los Angeles; it spreads from there. Once the Blue State governors and city officials see they can turn to violence in order to retain their dictates, orders and demands, that violence will not stop – nor will it diminish.
The best course of action is to see the world as it is, not as you would wish it to be.
Watch the police in action, and take note of their irrelevance to the questions put to them. There have been multiple psychological studies of this behavior over the years, and all end up with the same result – the police will do what they are told regardless of their own views on the matter.
Many police and law enforcement officers will tell you they will not comply with such orders. However, when those orders actually materialize, the police compartmentalize their behavior and do exactly what they are told.
The local police in your town will do exactly the same if they are ordered to carry out the rules of the city officials in your area. Your local police will do this regardless of what they might say right now.
As we witnessed in Australia, once the police officers start carrying out these types of operations, the only way to make it stop is to make them uncomfortable. That requires mass non-compliance by large numbers of citizens to overcome the mental barrier the police use to justify their conduct.
Then, after the police start getting uncomfortable arresting moms, dads and children, it takes open and vocal public shaming on a large scale toward the officers on a community level to get them to stop.
Remember, when the Chinese government first told the regular army to open fire on the students in Tiananmen Square, the soldiers would not shoot. The Chinese Communist government then brought in the Mongolian divisions who had no connection to the local community. You know what happened next.

Such tactics were a mainstay of our fight against the British governors in the 1700s (read “Desperate Sons”), and were considered fair play by our Founders. Take the PEACEFUL protests right to their front door – catch them in the a.m. as they’re leaving for “work.” Force the violence to issue from their own lips and hands, not yours, always maintaining the moral high ground.
As for the question of “whoyagonnacall?” – the “victim” of the crime is always the FIRST responder – and thankfully our Framers were aware of this and codified our NATURAL right to self-defense in the Second Amendment – thus we need not be relegated to “victim” status.

A town or city is nothing but a corporation established under state law. Being present within the physical boundaries (limits) of that corporation binds you to its rules and regulations (“laws”). The people who reside within those limits elect an leader who appoints an enforcement officer who hires more.
Understand if your state is a Dillion Rule state or a Home Rule state. If it is in a home rule state, it can do almost anything it likes – move to the county.

btw…..I do object to one of your points. I have known a person or two who were former gang members – people who eventually straightened out their lives. Their consistent theme has been that this is less about race (i.e., black cops perform the same repressive actions) but about poverty.

I recall their eloquent union leader reminding people during the defunding phase that police officers are members of the community. This is not being a member of a community. Quite frankly, as a result of Police actions and nonactions in many large cities relative to enforcing WuFlu authoritarian mandates, my respect for the men and women who make up the thin blue line has plummeted.
They were hired to perform Law Enforcement, not Mandate Enforcement.

1) If they patrol and enforce laws in high crime minority areas they are at risk of abuse, being attacked, killed or, if they themselves are forced to use force, especially lethal force against minority criminals, prison time.

This is a repeat of a conversation from about 10+ years ago, before I retired. A police training officer told me that at the time acceptance standards for applicants to the local forces in and around North Texas Counties had been opened to accept officers with low civic attachment, lower moral standards and tendency to violence disposition…these same applicants would not have even been considered for acceptance before that point in time.
Said this before..the people who control the personnel offices of any government agency wield allot of real power. They hire, fire, train (indoctrinate), promote, discipline and assign the people in the rank and file of the agency they support. They set the standards for applicants to and for continued employment in that agency.
What if the vaccinated and unvaccinated stopped going to restaurants altogether as a means of protest? How many NY restaurants survived the shutdown? How many would survive such a boycott? Until We The People in NY stop going to places where a vaccine card is required the arrests will continue. But how many of these restaurants or other places of entertainment requiring a vaccine card are essential? Maybe more detail about this specific incident is required before everyone goes off half-cocked. I am, by no means, a blind supporter of LEOs but, just to be fair: It appears that, upon further investigation, the NYPD was summoned by restaurant management to enforce the laws regarding trespass by a group of protesters. The group was asked to leave the premises by management and when they refused, the police began arresting those who refused to leave and charged them with trespass. Nobody was arrested for being unvaxxed. BUT, DON’T BE FOOLED BECAUSE THAT DAY IS, MOST ASSUREDLY COMING.
In other words, those patrons were arrested because they did not comply with an unconstitutional mandate.

Every people in that restaurant should be filing a case action suit against the NYPD for 4th amend. civil rights violation with arrested claiming the most damages. The patrons that had to leave via arrest or threat of arrest have had their rights violated.

Criminal trespass is a violation of the law as codified in the statutes of NY, or any other State in the Union. Vaccination status verification is an unconstitutional edict, not law.
