Friends, this stuff baffles me on many levels. All around the nation various local media outlets are reporting on this massive influx of people getting tested, or trying to get tested, for COVID-19. Miles and miles of people suddenly lining up for COVID tests everywhere, it’s weird.
The media is pushing the testing aspect hard right now and hitting the Biden administration for not having a federal system in place to facilitate this massive influx of people needing COVID tests. Without a doubt, that narrative is why Biden told the media today the states have to solve the issue on their own. [More on that later]
In the interim, I asked the question on the Twitter about why people would be lining up for hours to get a COVID test now. What’s the reason? Most of the responses are generally of the same mindset as the original question with people also wondering why. I can identify only a few generally valid reasons, and even then, something still doesn’t make sense.
♦ Some people are required to take a test for work, and with the mandates now beginning to kick in, that seems to make sense. However, does this mean people have to stand in line for hours before every shift? [feel free to chime in on this one]
♦ Some people are required to take a test to travel to a destination that requires a negative test. Again, that seems to make sense, I guess. However, it still seems silly from the perspective of testing is unlikely to stop any infection that can happen at any given moment.
Other than ‘being required’ to take a test for the two reasons above, why would anyone take one?
Why would perfectly healthy people, asymptomatic people, line up to take a COVID test? Is this a reflection of mass delusion as a result of government and media driven fear?
Seriously, what gives?
This response from the line in Orlando, Florida seems nuts:
“Well, I’m heading out of town to Kentucky to visit some family, and I hear omicron has really picked up and is spreading pretty fast,” Orange County resident Dave Roseford said. “So I wanted to go ahead and make sure I had the best guard against that.” (link)
So ‘Dave’ is not sick, doesn’t feel sick, is going to visit people 500 miles away, and wants to find out if he’s COVID positive? Because why?…
Then there’s this response, which is even more nuts, but I appreciate the brutal honesty:
“I can answer this because I live in the Lib Death Star known as Brownstone Brooklyn. They are doing this to tell friends and family whether they are ‘safe’ to be around. It’s an elaborate handshake among the Covidians.” (link)
The White House previously attempted to gain some political advantage with the COVID Omicron panic by declaring “a winter of death” awaits the unvaccinated. It appears to me this administration is now going to reap a massive amount of backlash over a panic they created. Once again proving the axiom that every statement, policy or recommendation, that Joe Biden advocates is the exact opposite of what should be done.
The White House has ordered 500 million test kits for them to distribute saying, “In cases where infected people show symptoms or not, testing is the only way to find out if they have the virus so they can avoid being out and about and potentially spreading the disease.” This would imply the only reason to test is to find out if you are infected, yet if you are asymptomatic (not showing symptoms) then why test?
Could it be the hysteria cannot remain in place if there isn’t a new layer of fear of some sort? As Jordan Schachtel notes: ” COVID cases are the engine of COVID Mania. Take away the testing, and the “crisis” disappears. See: every single nation in the world that doesn’t test widely for COVID. They’re doing just fine with the “plague” issue.”

Interesting questions, probably a myriad of reasons. I am recovering from covid pneumonia, not fun. I’ve never gone in to get a test, but when in the hospital they tell be they tested me twice. Both tests came back negative. Go figure. I had one nurse tell me mine was the Delta version. How would she know if the tests came back negative? Lots of unknowns, speculations and opinions. All my friends ask how did someone as healthy as you get hit so hard? Wish I knew.
I also got the delta (I know because of dates – the Moronic had not yet been identified in my state) and what I was told was the beginning of the covid viral pneumonia.
Agree, it was no fun – but the monoclonal infusion turned it around, and 3 weeks out, I have perfect O2 saturation again and can breathe normally.
My tests came back positive. I can’t understand how a nurse could say you tested negative but you had the delta? And the viral pneumonia? That’s nuts.
Did you lose taste or smell? That’s a better test (for anything before the Moronic) than any other.
I had chills for two nights running, followed by a week of mild coughing. Lost smell for a day. Then everything was fine. I’ve had far, far worse bouts of the flu.
Of course, had I gone to a hospital they would have stuffed a ventilator down my throat whether I needed it or not, followed by my unfortunate death. Then the nurse would have filled out the form so they could get payment from the government.
And everyone who tests positive, although they may be asymptomatic, will be rushing to the ER. The media will report that the hospitals are totally overwhelmed.
The media is intentionally causing great panic and fear, they do it daily to retain their corrupt power. Testing people who have no symptoms is a waste of time and resources but it does help create the image that covid is running rampant. The more they test the more false positives, the more power they have over the serfs.
I already caught a snippet somewhere, don’t even remember where now in the last couple of days from a nurse in a hospital that indeed there are many there with no symptoms of any kind demanding treatment. Given the level of psycho somatic illness I have personally witnessed this does not surprise me. I’m talking about way before Covid. This country is full of people who think they have anything and everything they have ever heard about and people that reflexively see a doctor every time they sneeze, cough, etc. These would be the same people that stood in line to get their first jab or got irritable when they had to wait.
Crowd psychology can indeed be very strange. Yes, you actually CAN persuade someone who isn’t sick that he actually is. 🤷♂️
Not only that, but you can actually get them to show some symptoms if the brainwashing is intense enough.

Interesting that now we may be getting a wave, not specifically of the virus, but of people whose placebo effect from their dogged faith in the vaccines is suddenly shattered, so that they can now, indeed, persuade themselves that they’re ill – and become so!
My wife works for a hospital courier delivery service. She said the ER rooms in dec thru Christmas were empty. But now after Christmas the ER room were filled w/standing only. The people working told my wife, said yep they stay home until after Christmas then they show up not wanting to go back to work.. This is seasonal like all the years before…
So she says something like this happens every year? That would certainly be of interest – particularly if no one ever took videos of it before…

Just drove from Melbourne, FL to Fort Meyers through the sticks. I did this multiple times last year. Saw a COVID testing site set up (in the middle of nowhere) for the first time today.

Could not imagine waiting in these lines just to get a test. Should you have symptoms it makes sense, but with no symptoms at all and going to visit people is absurd.

Here in rural Colorado we seem to be less anxious and go about our business without fear.
So I can offer no explanation for this psychosis.
We had a very happy gathering for the Holidays and no one mentioned covid or testing or vaxs.
Some of us got a little run down from all of the activity but that is to be expected, it was a busy time.
No one freaked we just put the little ones to bed early and us old folks too.

Why does it make sense if one has symptoms? If you have them, take vitamins, zinc, and quercitine or HCQ.
Why would you want to wait in line with possibly sick Covid patients to get a test? While getting sick outside is difficult if you’re standing around a bunch of sick people outside and not separating it can’t be a positive thing.
If you’ve got symptoms stay home and look at the FLCCC protocol and avoid interacting with other people. Think right now about using the FLCCC to get a doctor to prescribe ivermectin and a pharmacy to prescribe it, and have it on hand to take at the first sign of symptoms. Do not let the viral fires burn before you take action, early treatment is the correct action.
Think twice about going to the hospital, they’re paid a lot of money to make sure you have Covid, to give you remdesivir “run.death.is.near”, and put you on a ventilator. A nice bonus paid to the hospital when you die. Yes I believe the hospitals were making things worse, on purpose.
the weird thing is if you’ve got COVID, you likely have at worst, severe flu-like symptoms and they are going to tell you not to come to the doctor’s office and stay home.

I read Sundance’s article right before driving home from hardware store in Southern California (San Fernando Valley) and the thing about lines is true and a new development. I drive past a park and there was a traffic jam caused by parking. I drove past a local union hall with a line of about 50 people.
My guess is people who spent time with family want to make sure they didn’t catch anything during holiday visit.
well it is funny to read this now i tell you…i got a text from my boss at 630 am this morning that he was trying to get a “rapid test” and would be signing on at work late. We have all been working remotely since march 17, 2020. Then at 11 am he sends anther text that he is going out again to wait in line for a test. He said he feels poorly. I wondered, why bother testing, I would recommend to just assume you have the covid and get on with feeling better or dying i guess.

I’m not seeing it in my sphere, but I’m in a small town in Texas, and most people here have a modicum of common sense (I think). In fact, I was at a local store last week where the cashier was complaining about “a head cold.” I quite loudly suggested she probably had COVID since it had the same exact symptoms as a cold. She vigorously denied the possibility because she had taken the vax, and (wrongly) believed that this vax worked like all other vaxxes in history and kept you from getting that which you are vaxxed against!
I had a (ahem) “cold” a couple of weeks ago. I told a few close friends that I was just going to assume it was the KungFlu, and therefore, I’m over and done with this stupid COVID crap. Oh, and I think it’s silly to go get tested for a “head cold”!
Personally, I believe many people are getting tested for the notoriety of it all. In my view, many of those getting tested are the same ones who are addicted to broadcasting EVERY detail of their lives on social media. I guess what this points to is that the virus and the test (not just the vax) are now considered a social status.
There does seem to be a connection with how much some folks feel the need to share about themselves on social media and covid hysteria. Coincidence? I think not.

Many workplaces are requiring Covid tests before you are allowed back to work if you get sick with just about anything. I have a friend who had a run of the mill respiratory infection and she was not allowed to come back to work without a negative Covid test even though her own insurance company wouldn’t pay for it because she didn’t have the main symptoms of Covid. Luckily she found a place locally that gave tests for free and of course she was negative. My daughter in law is a manager of a clothing store in a major mall. There is always a steady stream of employees in that Mall who come down with Covid. Her upper management requires HER, who has not had Covid, to submit a negative test once a week. She found some sort of home testing business that mails the do it yourself Covid tests to her home every week. Thank goodness or I suppose she would be one of those at the testing sites each week. These businesses can’t afford to shut down so I guess they are going to the extreme and that might be a part of the issue.
My nephew & his wife appear to have colds. She is a teacher & cannot go to work unless she has a negative test …. he works for a large enough company that he cannot go back to work either without a negative test. Christmas Day, everything was closed. They tried all day yesterday to find somewhere to get tested – no luck. They finally ended up on some humongous waiting list …. looks like they’ll have a week’s “vacation”.
A niece in NYC got C19 (positive test). After a week of mild symptoms, then feeling well, she took a test to see if she could come home (she wants a negative test before being around her folks) …. missed Christmas waiting for results and I don’t know if she’s gotten them yet. Hoping to make it home by New Year’s, but between the “crazies” going on & all the flights being cancelled, I don’t know that she’ll make it. She might have better luck just waiting for Easter.

Frankly, I would suspect that the massive lines for testing are actually among the vaxxed, rather than the unvaxxed. It is the vaxxed that are fearful, and now see that the vax that they took does not protect them from infection or transmission. Personally, I cannot understand why anyone who has no symptoms would be so fearful as to insist on getting testing, unless they completely bought into this propaganda, or needed a negative test in order to do something where it was required.

I have had what felt like a cold for a couple of days. No fever or pain, just runny nose and cough. I thought about getting tested, but decided not knowing was better. I have yet to be tested even once.
A friend’s family all came down with something and all got tested. After three days they still had no results so they got rapid tests, all negative.
No one here is likely to have your answer. Go hang out with the crazies and they will eventually tell you. Let us know what you find out.

In the suburbs of Kansas City on the Missouri side I’ve seen nothing like what you are describing. Haven’t heard anything on the local news either. However, as I was out today with my wife doing some post Christmas bargain shopping, we both noticed a lot more unrequired mask wearing.
I have a slight case of the sniffles. I usually have this every morning anyway. I feel like I have a slight cold which I also get at least once per season. No coughing, sneezing, fever, not tired or fatigued basically sniffles. I’m vaccinated and if this is Omicrom then this crap is really overblown. I don’t plan to waste hours of my day in line to find out either.
They test for the flu since they’ve never isolated Covid-19. Which makes me wonder how they can tell there is a delta variant. They never isolated the virus but they use a test to show the damage of a solution does on monkey kidney cells then show the cellular debris as proof of the virus. Retired Magistrate here: I live in Delaware County, Ohio. Just got back from going to Christmas decoration sales and the grocery store. More people are wearing masks and have that frantic “deer in the headlight” look to those of us that are unmasked. The Kroger store I went to is blaring every 5 minutes “if you are vaccinated you need to wear a mask; if you are unvaccinated you need to wear a mask, we all need to keep each other safe during this difficult time, etc., etc., etc.” Since my husband are I are not vaxed and realize the masks are absolutely useless to prevent anything other than you breathing in your own germs, we refuse to wear them. We get lots of dirty looks; however, to those free men and women who were not wearing masks, big smiles were exchanged.
Every time I turn the radio on, it seems to be Pfizer pushing the vaccine, the Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Department of Aging or another government entity. Same thing for the TV. However, people are out shopping, albeit masked up, and trying to go about their daily lives.
Just when you think it can’t get any nuttier, it does. Oh well, my husband and I are doing the best we can to throw sand in the machinery and live our best lives. Merry Christmas, it is still the Christmas season and enjoy your life as free men and women.

I had to laugh to myself the other morning on the way to work. 7am, 27 degrees. There is a line of humans wrapped around the 24 hour urgent care in my city. People standing nuts to butts in line in below freezing weather, in order to find out if they are sick.

Just like I mentioned last night, the reason hospitals are currently flooded is due to hypochondriacs. Which is also a major reason universal healthcare never works.
The system will be forever over run with people that run to the hospital for feeling faint for less than a second. Probably because they stood up too fast. But with Covid around it’s going to be 10 times worse.
Throw in universal health and it’s game over health care system.

In Canada the feds sent kids how with three testing kits each two weeks before Christmas, so they’ve sent them home to triple check and if they test positive everyone in the house hold is treated like they have covid and most stay in the house for ten days. See what they did, they set up a psych-op to ensure the numbers go through the roof, they get to lock us down and have an excuse to force children to get the non-vaccine? It’s one organized propaganda event every single time the media start to lose their fear power.

It is truly bizarre and I don’t understand it either, unless it truly is people who have been told they must have a negative test in order to attend any kind of holiday event?
Our daughter-in-law is terrified of the Rona and she refuses to even come into our house, even though we both already had it and have the antibodies tests to prove that we are “safe”. We did talk about doing an at home test just to put their minds at ease if that would get them to come over for Christmas, but in the end, our son said it wouldn’t matter to her so we didn’t bother. But even stories like that wouldn’t account for these kinds of lines….
A person afraid to die, is afraid to live.
Sad but true…she is married to our son so we are trying to keep the door open but it is hard to remain patient and loving when she is looking for boogie-men behind every door!
My sister in law made her husband stop on the back porch and take off his work clothes every day before coming in the house and then go straight to the shower before he saw her for months. Who knew we were so close to the edge as a country?
We have a relative who washed all her groceries before bringing them inside.
I have a friend that did that, she also wore gloves to bring in the mail. I don’t know if she still does it because I have distanced myself from her, I don’t have much patience anymore.
I feel so bad for you. My mother died in January after the hospital diagnosed her with Covid. They put her on a ventilator without her permission or ours and had killed her within a week.
If I had the chance to see her again or hug her or spend Christmas with her I’d gladly do it, not refuse to come inside her house.
I watched through a glass door while she died in the hospital. The staff refused to let me be in the room or hold her hand while she died. I stood at the door telling her how much I loved her, praying she could hear me as she left this world.
My point of telling you my experience is that I see this whole Rona Hysteria different now. Because it affected me personally by losing my mother. I do not refuse to go inside my family’s homes or refuse to hug them because I never want to feel the way I did not being able to touch my mother while she died.
Your situation breaks my heart because the fear that has gripped your family is preventing them from spending time with you NOW and showing you how much they love you NOW. Tomorrow is not promised and they may live to regret the choices they’ve made.
Thats the worst part of this whole thing to me, it is tearing families apart and letting fear overcome love. For what it’s worth, if you were my mother or mother in law I would have spent Christmas with you and hugged your neck with no fear instead of spending Christmas without my mother like I did this year.

I am so sorry for your loss! I have heard far too many of these stories in the past two years and each one makes me more angry at the EVIL that is being done to families across the country! People dying alone, cut off from their loved ones and many dying due to a lack of effective treatment that could well have turned them around if given early on in their illness!
My heart breaks for all of the people who are too afraid to get together with their friends or family, who are sitting huddled in their homes, in fear of what, for most of them, would simply be a bad cold/flu.
We had friends who were all “in” at the beginning of the madness, staying away from their elderly parents and not seeing their grandchildren. But, she is a retired nurse and she started asking some questions and her eyes were opened…Her 90 year old father broke the log jam after about two months and announced that he wanted his whole family to be together again and that he would trust God with the outcome. They spent the next six months celebrating holidays and birthdays and hugging each other like there was no tomorrow. Last year, just before Thanksgiving, he was diagnosed with a re-occurrence of bladder/prostate cancer and he chose to not do treatment. He refused to go to the hospital and they brought a Hospice bed into my friend’s house. He lived about two more months and his family was with him every step of the way. It was beautiful to see true faith in action and I pray I could go like that!
My son is, unfortunately caught between a rock and hard place and we are simply trying to keep the door open and continue to love him, hoping that he will see that and maybe stop trying to placate someone who so clearly needs counseling for her irrational fear of life!
Again, condolences on your mother…I truly believe that she could hear you and I suspect she will be waiting to greet you with open arms when you see her next!! Christmas Blessings and much peace and joy to you in 2022 – go live your life well!!

Thank you so much for your kind words. My mother’s death was completely unexpected. She was only 63 and still worked and led an active life.
You never know how things will turn out in life or how fast they can change. My family gathered for Christmas last year at my mother’s home. There were 24 people there. 15 got sick and she died.
I am grateful to have spent more time with her than I ever had in my life right before she died. My stepfather was diagnosed with cancer and was given 6mons to live right before Christmas. He was in the hospital and I was staying with my mother at night, not because she needed anyone to care for her but because I didn’t want her to be alone at night.
We all expected my stepfather to die because he had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer but no one expected my mother to die.
I stayed with her 3wks before Christmas and up until she was hospitalized. I stayed at her house and rode in the car with her multiple times before she tested positive and I never got sick. Even after she tested positive on New Years I continued to stay at her home for a week and had a negative test before I would come home because my husband has serious heart problems and I didn’t want to make him sick if I became positive.
I never got sick and I had a negative antibody test so I do not know why I didn’t catch it other than the Grace of God.
Like I said things don’t always turn out like you think because my mother was healthy and my stepfather had cancer but she died. I was exposed to her and other family members who were sick for weeks and I never got sick. This should encourage your daughter in law that not everyone catches covid even with consistent exposure to it.
I hope she did hear me talking to her when she was dying. It was the worst thing that’s ever happened to me in my life not being able to touch her and comfort her.
I am so grateful for the time I spent with her before she got sick. I have other family who had not seen my mother in 2yrs because they feared Rona and they told me they regret this and are heartbroke over letting the Covid fear stop them from being with her.
I pray your son and daughter in law stop letting their fear keep them from being with you. I hope if they read my comment they take my words to heart.
I pray they see that not everyone catches Covid, I didn’t. I hope that they spend time with you while they still can because I never expected my mother to die but she did. Life is short and I would’ve given anything to have my mother with me for Christmas.
I pray they realize the precious time they are wasting being afraid. Most of all I want you to know how blessed your children are to have a mother who loves them and wants to be a part of thier lives. We have to live and love each other while we still can. What happened to me did not cause fear but determination to live and love no matter what new virus they come up with.

I went and got tested on Christmas day to confirm that I had covid. I did and what a relief. No more worry. It has been no more than a cold for me (66 yo). Asymptomatic testing doesn’t make sense to unless you’re trying to protect a loved one with health problems.
With all due respect Jim, the PCR test is bullshit and you still have no idea if you have “Covid”
An in-law was banned from a trip because of “posistive” test. Tested again next day and was “negative” and so trip was approved? 50/50 odds.
I think the most reliable test, at least probably 100% will detect a positive infection, is to hold up a rag soaked in vanilla extract and ask “What does this smell like?” Because if you can’t smell it, you got/had the rona. Not that you if you had it your smell/taste is necessarily screwed up, but if it is almost assuredly you had it.

But that objective, empirical, simple test that everyone could do for themselves, is no longer relevant to the Moronic (Omicron). The Moronic does not include the symptoms of loss of taste and smell.
One of the virologists talking about its mutations also mentioned that some features of the earlier variants on the bioweapon were no longer present.

I sometimes wonder whether the Moronic is a new design, with that very convenient symptom left out on purpose. I would in that case have no idea why TBTB chose to make it less lethal, unless they simply couldn’t control that aspect successfully (viruses gotta do what viruses gotta do).

Hi Rawkstar…I am well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the PCR-NAAT. If you get an asymptomatic positive, it is essentially meaningless. But if your fully symptomatic, a positive result is something you can trust to a pretty high degree.
I tested positive in October. I have had sinus infections where I was sicker. My worse symptom was fatigue.
I got symptoms the week before Christmas. I was figuring it had to be the all too contagious Omicron variant so I went to my PCP for testing and medication. 24 hours after having a probe shoved up my nose and out the back of my head the result was negative. Just the common cold. Better luck next time I guess.
Still, to what avail? Regardless of cold, flu, or covid, what would you do differently? Take OTC meds for the symptoms and limit contact with others until you are feeling better.

Since they refuse to provide treatment, I see no point in individuals who are not forced to be tested to go and request testing. Good grief.
my doctor had to wait until I had a positive test before she could schedule me for the monoclonal antibody infusion. Timing is critical for the infusion….it needs to be within the first 10 days after onset of symptoms. I made the deadline by 3 days. Yes that was the only treatment she prescribed.
That is a very good reason to get tested if you are symptomatic and in a risk group. Unfortunately, the FDA has pulled the Regeneron antibody treatment authorization because it doesn’t work on the new variant.
Interesting. That’s the first I’ve heard of that. Sounds like more suppression of effective treatments.
