Robert Swan Mueller III should take a bow. IMO, this FBI is largely his creation.
He became FBI director in the Spring of 2001 and stayed in that role for 2 years past the statutory 10 year term limit. That took special legislation.
He reorganized the FBI and its personnel policies. He implemented a 5-year “up or out” career speed bump and broadly purged the talent. After 5 years in one location, agents were expected to move to DC for a stint or basically get on the short bus career-wise. That policy is said to have ridded the upper ranks of community-minded people with families who wished to continue in their locations and using their store of knowledge and connections to do their jobs. According to what I have heard, this created room for ambitious careerists, rather than the kinds of people who could better serve the rule of law.
Somehow Mueller has slipped away.

Perhaps it’s time for her and her friends to go on offense against the local and state level people who have targeted her.
She and her friends need to start an intelligence gathering network or possibly hire a private investigator to dig up dirt on her persecutors.
In this day and age of cell phone journalism, a group of motivated citizen investigators can compile quit a bit of useful info on a target.
Follow someone long enough and, if they’re dirty, you’re going to get evidence of it.
Even if they’re not dirty, you’re going to manage to come up with stuff that is, at a minimum, embarrassing to them.
Start building dossiers on everyone from the people ordering the government investigations right down to the cops or agents that come to your home.
Put THEM on defense.
Use the information gathered to discredit them.
Cultivate useful people in state and local media to aid your cause by selectively feeding info to them.
Get a subscription to LexisNexis and learn how to use it.
Also, when dealing with law enforcement, consider filing a complaint with their Internal Affairs Bureau.
In this particular case, she should file a complaint with the FBI Office of Professional Standards for the way the agent manhandled her daughter.
Better yet, file an excessive force or civil rights lawsuit.
It may not go anywhere but it keeps them distracted.
Trust me, no cop wants an IAB investigation and lawsuits drive them crazy.

Note—I watched the 3 FBI shows on CBS when the season started to see how far they would go. It didn’t take long for one of the shows to include a story about the FBI searching for a white supremacist killer who attended the Jan. 6th “riot.” It showed the evil character walking into a mall and shooting a young smiling, attractive female clerk in the head and then turning and shooting 2 men in the back as they hurried down the corridor. I had seen enough of course to confirm my suspicions about why 3 separate FBI shows appeared on CBS this season.
