Did you catch the brief moment where he blurted out I am not doing this? I think it was a rare rational breakthrough for just a second. He has made repeated mention in the past about what he is told to do. I think dementia patients at some point begin to pass through the veil almost like it becomes somewhat transparent to them, they often worry about people long dead as if they have met them again. Their true nature becomes readily apparent and their employer also becomes more apparent. Joe is probably very frightened and he should be. I still have a little pity for him. A wreck of a life spent in pursuit of something that matters not at all to him anymore and even less where he is headed where only knowledge and experience remain. There were always the rare few new patients in the memory care facility who had to be removed within days due to their reprobate behavior. My 20 year old son just reminded me of Biden’s gaffe/statement while being interviewed aboard Amtrak by Katie Couric way back on Sept 24, 2008. I paraphrase: ” FDR got on the television when the stock market crashed back in 1929.” That statement was delivered by empty suit Joe 13 years ago. Biden knows absolutely nothing of WW2 history and even less regarding the Holocaust or anything resembling actual human rights.

I tried watching for eight whole minutes while this guy makes the case that surprise surprise the biggest investors in most big companies are huge mutual funds or investment companies managing peoples’ money for them. Vanguard does not call the shots at those companies anymore than Blackrock does or T Rowe Price. Even if some of the institutions gather enough proxy votes from the actual investors and gang up they usually cannot greatly affect outcomes. Many of them include many index funds among their options which have to invest in these companies because they are part of the index etc. From such a meaningless premise to start with I lost interest in whatever point he was going to make about it, the usual one percent controls everything crap I suppose.
One thing you can take to the bank is that clothing prices are going up specifically cotton clothing. Seems the cotton crop in many parts got hit with a bad bug and some hedge fund guys found out first and cornered the cotton supply so the price of cotton just went up.

My beloved, sweet, gentle Grandmother was stricken with dementia. As it progressed, she became angry and mean. Her outbursts became more frequent, and could be triggered by something trivial or nothing at all. Watching Biden, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is in an advanced stage of dementia, and descending fast. Once you have witnessed it up close and personal, it is easy to recognize.
I have heard about the personality changes in loved ones with this disease.
