I suppose it all depends on what your definition of a politician is or what their job duty should entail. If getting the most graft measured in dollars or keeping oneself in office the longest and climbing the ladder gains one master level recognition, then he probably qualifies for such an egocentric pursuit. If one were to reward that title to people who actually accomplish things that are good or noble for all citizens under their jurisdiction, then I would applaud the designation. I seriously doubt Willie would make the tournament much less the cut.

After spending over a decade regularly ranch sitting in Texas, I am in the process of moving there from my home in California. I’ve spent over 3 months in Hill Country this year and I’ve got to say it feels like America used to be. People are nice, smart and funny in the area I spend most of my time.
My hubby and daughter want to stay in California because of our deep roots here, but I imagine they will come around. One of my sons moved his family to Dripping Springs at the beginning of the year and they are thriving. His children are no longer ordered to wear masks at school and my son can legally defend himself and his family.
Watching Al Sharpton get the treatment he deserves makes me happy.

Hill Country is gorgeous and the real estate prices reflect this. I ranch sit outside of Medina and it is as beautiful there as our current home in the mountains northeast of Santa Barbara. Dripping Springs is also lovely, so it is challenging to find something in our price range where we want to live. It’s especially tough since we are not selling our house in California.
Our home has been in our family for over 100 years. Our family dates back to Carrillo, which is why it is so hard for my daughter’s family and my husband to leave. I used to feel the same way, but life is too short. Nothing matters if you lose your sovereignty. Your life is no longer your own.
Ah, it will be a lot easier for them to follow if you have a place already set up for them to go to . I want out of CA also, friends and family in TX but at 75 years and to pack up everything and move by myself seems too difficult at this stage … now, if I already had a spot ready to land on it would make it much easier. Good luck!!! I envy you; in a good way.
