Before we get to this video interview [you only need to watch the first 90 seconds], it is important to remember the accurate and historic context for what is taking place. That is how you see the dots connect.
When it comes to U.S. Foreign Policy – remember, there are fundamentally two factions within the United States government that are constantly creating havoc. Those factions are represented in the Presidential Seal. The arrows representing the military (Dept. of Defense) and the olive branch representing the Dept of State and Intelligence apparatus. They work together creating the mess, but when SHTF they attempt to blame the other team. In the Afghanistan mess you are seeing the battle between the two factions and their media conscripts.

Finally someone asks about Bin Laden’s #2 guy, Ayman al-Zawahiri. CTH has been asking about this guy for months, since the Afghan mess blew up. Some of you have noted there is a similarity between the Afghan outcome and the Libya/Egypt fiasco that led to the Benghazi attack. You are correct.
When you look at the actual policy that was being executed, this is where you will find an almost identical outcome between Afghanistan and the former Libya mess.
Mike Morell was put into place by Barack Obama after the Benghazi attack took place. In the aftermath of the attack; and with massive political issues about to happen; both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton needed to remove CIA Director David Petraeus. Again, falling back on the construct of the Intelligence Branch of Government – you will note that Obama used former Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate Petraeus under the auspices of a relationship with a journalist named Paula Broadwell {Go Deep}.
Attorney General Eric Holder investigated CIA Director David Petraeus for allowing journalist Paula Broadwell to see and know Petraeus’ scheduling calendar. That calendar was the “classified information” leak that led to the framework to remove Petraeus. It was a tenuous stretch but it worked. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told Petraeus he needed to step down.
That was how Mike Morell was installed as the Acting CIA Director with the goal to protect Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama from the outcome of covert missile sales to Libyan rebels, that were really al-Qaeda factions in eastern Libya (Beghazi).
The Defense Department (Secretary Bob Gates) did not want to arm the Libyan rebels, because he knew those missiles could be used against our forces. The State Department, Hillary Clinton, and the CIA, Leon Panetta, conducted the missile sales despite the Pentagon admonitions and refusal to go along with it. That covert arming of al-Qaeda (AQAP) was “Operation Zero Footprint”.
With the “olive branch” (State Dept/CIA) conducting the operation, the “arrows” (Pentagon) were in the dark.
President Obama was all-in to arm the Muslim Brotherhood (al-Qaeda is a faction); after all, the ‘Arab Spring’ was an ideological shift in the mid-east by the U.S. with the intention to support the Muslim Brotherhood. The Arab Spring could not have happened without Obama supporting it. In fact, Obama initiated it with his speech in Cairo Egypt, his first foreign trip.
When it became evident to Defense Secretary Bob Gates what Clinton and Panetta were doing, with Obama’s approval, the defense secretary stepped down. Bob Gates did not want to participate in shifting the tenuous balance in the mid-east. President Obama then replaced Bob Gates by moving Leon Panetta from CIA Director to defense secretary. Panetta was replaced in the CIA by David Petraeus, with Operation Zero Footprint (arming Muslim Brotherhood factions) already taking place.
Everything taking place in Benghazi, Libya, in the fall of 2012 was an outcome of attempting to get the missiles back from al-Qaeda after Gaddaffi was overthrown. Initially they were going to shift those missiles to the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria, but they lost control over the internal al-Qaeda factions in Syria (al-Nusra, ISIS) and quickly realized this was going to end up in a massively political mess (it was an election year). Those missiles were showing up everywhere, including Afghanistan, and the U.S. military commanders on the ground had no idea where they were coming from.
It was the urgent shift in policy (Obama, Clinton, Panetta) from supporting al-Qaeda to now cutting them off from weapons they needed, that caused the Libyan al-Qaeda elements, to turn against Ambassador Chris Stevens and attack the compound in Benghazi.
Turkish Diplomat Consul General Ali Sait Akin made one last trip to see Ambassador Chris Stevens to ask him to support the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria by continuing with the agreement already in place. When Stevens told him the U.S. policy had shifted, Ali Sait Akin left the Benghazi compound and within minutes the attack began.
The U.S. Generals had no idea what was happening in Benghazi because the entire operation was State Department and CIA. The Pentagon was clueless. When the contracted CIA security reached out for help during the Benghazi attack, the U.S. military -specifically AFRICOM General Carter Ham- was caught off-guard because they never knew about the Benghazi operations in the first place.
Can you see a parallel to what happened recently in Afghanistan?
The State Department, CIA and Intelligence Community (writ large), aka “Team-Two” were in charge of Kabul in an almost identical way they were in charge of Benghazi. When they lose control and everything starts going sideways, and they come under terrorist attacks, they shift blame to the Pentagon (Team-One).
What Mike Morell is doing in that interview is protecting the intelligence system from which he came. This is a similar motive he had for defending Hillary Clinton in the aftermath of Benghazi.
There is a stunning amount of hubris evident in Morell now when he admits the Taliban are al-Qaeda. Essentially the State Dept/CIA now saying of course they knew the Taliban were al-Qaeda; which is only a position they take today out of their need to shift the blame for Afghanistan to the Pentagon and White House (remember, Biden is disposable).
The U.S. State Department, CIA and Intelligence Community are the Deep State. They form the Fourth Branch of Government.
I’ll repeat it here, only because I know it makes Team Two flinch to read the truth…. The Taliban, al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, ISIS, ISIS-k, are all under the umbrella of the Muslim Brotherhood.
The defacto head of al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri (pictured below left with Bin Laden), is being protected by the Taliban in Afghanistan. Ayman is the brother of Mohamed al-Zawahiri (below right) who is he head of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Remember, CNN is the outlet for public relations for the U.S. State Department. Most foreign governments view CNN as state media for the U.S. government, which is not an inaccurate way to look at them.
However, if you want to really connect the dots… watch this interview between CNN’s Nic Robertson and Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed al-Zawahiri, and notice the date of this interview. This interview took place on September 10th, 2012. One day before the Brotherhood launched the attack on the Benghazi compound.

Starting about 1858, states both north and south started a bunch of new militias. These weren’t just boys have fun playing with hunting rifles. They were infantry, artillery, and cavalry units. It took time to train companies, and then regiments. Virginia elevated the leader of its state militia to the rank of major general, the highest rank in the country at the time.
After the John Brown raid, Virginia made militia membership mandatory for military age males, beefing them up considerably. They were clearly mobilizing for war from that time.
What happened in 1858 to spark this arms race? Kansas was set to enter the Union as a free state, upsetting the prior balance in the Senate. This made the election of 1860 critical for the South. They lost, partly due to a split in the Democrat Party. During the campaign, Southern newspapers referred to Lincoln almost exclusively as a “Black Republican”.
We have a hateful media that is presently painting Republicans as “insurrectionists”, anti-vaxxers, who are spreading disease and committing treason. The rhetoric is as bad or worse than that in Southern papers in the antebellum period. Parenti also goes over the “clean up” operation (lots of suspicious deaths) after the assassination when there was a Congressional Committee doing an investigation. So, if Lara Logan is correct (and I believe she is), then the US govt has been using tax payer money to support terrorists who have been killing US soldiers and for 20 years we have been paying for both sides of the war. Taliban and Al Qaeda ‘remain closely aligned’, says UN report

As US and coalition forces withdraw from Afghanistan, the Taliban and Al Qaeda remain “closely aligned” and show “no indication of breaking ties”, the UN Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team said in its latest annual report to the UN Security Council (UNSC).
Dated 1 June, the report, which covers developments in the Central Asian country between May 2020 and April this year, quotes UN member states as saying that the relationship between the two groups has “grown deeper as a consequence of personal bonds of marriage and shared partnership in struggle, now cemented through second generational ties”.
Al Qaeda “is resident in at least 15 Afghan provinces, primarily in the east, southern, and southeastern regions” and members of the Islamist militant group have been relocated by the Taliban to more remote areas to avoid “potential exposure and targeting”, said the UN team. While Al Qaeda maintains contact with the Taliban, it has “minimised overt communications” with the latter’s leadership in an effort to “lay low” and not jeopardise the Taliban’s diplomatic position vis-à-vis the 1 February 2020 Doha agreement signed with the United States, the report added.
Michael Morell was acting director of the CIA.
That’s makes him a criminal.
All CIA directors and their subordinates have sanctioned crimes against humanity, from 1947 the list of their crimes is very, very, very long.
After they honeytrapped Petraus, Morrell was brought in as a placeholder for Brennan, whose job was domestic political spying and ramming through the Iran Treason.

Of course, that is exceedingly rare. The RIF is also broad based in that the union essentially picks who goes.
The only way to comprehensively fight Deep State is to kill the civil service. It acts as the jobs patronage service of the left.
There was once a small fraction of civil service who weren’t leftists but they are now gone. The civil service is almost monolithically leftwing. That is why the IRS will enthusiastically engage in illegal actions with branch offices competing to create the most damage. On the other hand, when Nixon wanted the IRS to investigate 1 person, that became a Watergate Impeachment article.
Nothing more would be more damaging to Deep State than to gut its’ army. Once government functions are handled by a politically diverse workforce, it will be impossible to prevent white hats from learning and alerting the country of illegal acts. The Taliban has announced the formation of an “interim government” to rule over Afghanistan. The Taliban’s regime will be known as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. This is entirely unsurprising. The first emirate was toppled during the U.S.-led invasion in late 2001. The jihadis, members of both the Taliban and al Qaeda, waged jihad for the next two decades in order to resurrect it. It is likely that at least some of al Qaeda’s personnel are considered “refugees” in Afghanistan, meaning they will be included in Khalil Haqqani’s portfolio.

This interview took place on September 10th, 2012. One day before the Brotherhood launched the attack on the Benghazi compound.
It was the urgent shift in policy (Obama, Clinton, Panetta) from supporting al-Qaeda to now cutting them off from weapons they needed, that caused the Libyan al-Qaeda elements, to turn against Ambassador Chris Stevens and attack the compound in Benghazi.
The U.S. Generals had no idea what was happening in Benghazi because the entire operation was State Department and CIA. The Pentagon was clueless. When the contracted CIA security reached out for help during the Benghazi attack, the U.S. military -specifically AFRICOM General Carter Ham- was caught off-guard because they never knew about the Benghazi operations in the first place.
The U.S. Generals were ordered not to help the “contracted CIA security”. It follows that Obama and Hillary wanted them dead in order to clean up the evidence of their crimes. Damage from the missiles they supplied with help by the CIA.
They didn’t know because the operation was classified (to move arms from Libya to Syria). They couldn’t know.
CIA security contractors were contacting everyone they knew, asking for help. Troops, were flying in, an ordered back. Admiral was dismissed from his command, etc.
They even found an unexploded missile in the side of an aircraft with numbers on it, that could be traced back to the supplies provided to the CIA.

Let us not forget the role of Google and Facebook in the Arab Spring. Indeed, they were central in giving a platform so the rebels could organize. That is occurring today in Afghanistan where the monopoly internet companies give platform to the Taliban while deplatforming Trump and conservative nationalists.
If you want your business to rise, you must play their game. Interestingly, I think (but cannot prove), the corporations have gained the upper hand. It is they telling the Intelligence Community what to do, not the other way around. This is not 100%, but it is perhaps 70:30, maybe 90:10. Who knows. The problem with this relationship is that the monopoly internet companies have allegiance to their Chinese markets. This allows China to call the tune. It explains why we handed our most sophisticated weapons to the Taliban who in turn sold them to the Chinese and perhaps Russia.

They have perfected this, and in 2020 Mark Zuckerberg donated $400 million, not to the candidates, but to the people who counted the votes. This was revolutionary. And, who did they install as President – a man on China’s payroll. The Intelligence Community and FBI/DOJ chipped in by sitting on Hunter’s laptop.
Let me tell you how Silicon Valley engineers think. First, they know they are far more intelligent than the general population. This is true; however, many tend to have deficient social skills. They believe they can outmaneuver government. They see government as slow and stupid. They are correct. At some point, they realized they did not need the CIA telling them what to do. They could do it themselves, and so they did. More and more as their technology outpaced the government, they grew bolder and bolder. Eventually, they overthrew the US government. In this action they were in agreement with the Intelligence Community, and the FBI/DOJ. Trump had to go.
In truth, I do not know to what extent the corporations (including banks), China, or our intelligence agencies are calling the tune. Let’s just keep in mind that they work together, and they are heading toward One World Government. How these folks think they are going to be able to control China and Russia when the time comes, is a mystery to me.

The Alliance of Youth Movements
In December 2008 the U.S. Department of State, along with Facebook, Google, YouTube, MTV, Howcast, Access 360 Media, and Columbia Law School held an “Alliance of Youth Movements Summit” at the Columbia Law School in New York City.
Others involved with the Alliance of Youth Movements are: Jared Cohen, Director of Google Ideas and former advisor to both Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton; Blue State Digital, which operated Obama’s online presidential campaign; Jack Dorsey of Twitter; and Scott Heiferman of MeetUp.
An affiliated group named Movements.org was formed by Cohen, along with Jason Liebman CEO and co-founder of Howcast, and Roman Tsunder co-founder of Access 360 Media.
Summit attendees participated in workshops and received an “activist field manual” on how to effect social change using online tools.
An attendee at the December 2008 summit was Ahmed Saleh of Egypt’s “April 6 Youth”. Ahmed Saleh and Ahmed Maher formed the “April 6 Youth” group to support textile workers planning to strike on April 6, 2008. Maher, in an interview with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said, Being the first youth movement in Egypt to use internet-based modes of communication like Facebook and Twitter, we aim to promote democracy by encouraging public involvement in the political process He also said they will support Mohammed ElBaradei.
Margaret Scobey, the US Ambassador to Cairo said in a December 30, 2008 cable to the State Department: “On December 23, April 6 activist Ahmed Saleh expressed satisfaction with his participation in the December 3-5 ‘Alliance of Youth Movements Summit,’ and with his subsequent meetings with USG officials, on Capitol Hill, and with think tanks.”
Saleh described his Washington appointments as positive, saying that on the Hill he met with Rep. Edward Royce, a variety of House staff members, including from the offices of Rep. Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) and Rep. Wolf (R-VA), and with two Senate staffers. Saleh also noted that he met with several think tank members.
Saleh claimed that several opposition forces — including the Wafd, Nasserite, Karama and Tagammu parties, and the Muslim Brotherhood, Kifaya, and Revolutionary Socialist movements — have agreed to support an unwritten plan for a transition to a parliamentary democracy, involving a weakened presidency and an empowered prime minister and parliament, before the scheduled 2011 presidential elections.”
Google’s Weal Ghonim
In February 2010 Google marketing executive Weal Ghonim built ElBaradei’s website for his run against Egyption President Hosni Mubarak. He help generate opposition to Mubarak through the April 6 Youth Movement.
In June 2010 pictures of a 28-year-old man, Khaled Said, who had been killed by Egyptian security officials appeared on the internet. Ghonim anonymously launched a Facebook group called “Kullena Khaled Said” (We Are All Khaled Said). The page proposed a Jan 25, 2011 mass protest. Thousands gathered in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. Police identified him, he was arrested Jan 28, 2011 and held for eleven days. The April 6 Youth Movement picked Jan. 25, 2011 as their protest date because it’s a public holiday: Police Day. In previous years they had always marched on Jan. 25 to mock the holiday. As Maher said: “Because how can we be expected to celebrate these thugs, torturers, criminals? But this year, what happened in Tunisia has given a different feel to Jan 25th.” (Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali was deposed on Jan. 14, 2011, after 23 years in power)
Organizing Protests
Fifteen days before the date, the April 6 group set up an “operation room,” as Maher described it in an interview. Its purpose was “to discuss routine details including assessing the reach of our calls to protest with regards to internet websites, looking at the data and information that was being provided to citizens, and studying innovative mechanisms of protesting which aimed to overcome the methods that the state security services always use to pre-empt demonstrations and protests.” Two days before planned protest, Maher said the group organized cells of 30-50 activists who would be posted to central areas and public squares to incite protests while only the leader of each group would be informed of the precise location of where the protests were scheduled to begin… meeting his group in a pre-selected location just prior to the beginning of the protest, and then guiding this group to the main rendezvous point.
Revolution
Days after protests began there are still thousands of protesters on the streets. Speaking in Washington Jan 30, 2011, Secretary of State Clinton said, “We’re trying to promote an orderly transition and change that will respond to the legitimate grievances of the Egyptian people, which the protests are all about. We are urging the Mubarak government, which is still in power, we are urging the military, which is a very respected institution in Egypt, to do what is necessary to facilitate that kind of orderly transition.” She said she was “deeply concerned about the use of force” to quell the protests.
As the Tahrir Square protests continued through late January/early February 2011, the April 6 Youth Movement issued specfic demands on Feb. 6, 2011:
● Mubarak must immediately resign
● The national assembly and senate must be dissolved
● A “national salvation group” must be established that includes all public and political personalities, intellectuals, constitutional and legal experts, and representatives of youth groups who called for the demonstrations on Jan. 25 and 28. This group would form a transitional coalition government for a transitional period. The group would also form a transitional presidential council until the next presidential elections.
In addition to the April 6 Youth Movement, bloggers and activists representing a range of political and religious views — including labor advocates and the Muslim Brotherhood — played leading roles in the protests.
February 11, 2011 Mubarak resigned as President.
After Mubarak’s resignation the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces under Field Marshal Mohamed Hussein Tantawi assumed control of the country. This period was marked by major protests calling for the end of military rule.
In June 2012 elections were held and the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi won.
November 22, 2012, after granting himself unlimited powers to “protect” the nation, and the power to legislate without judicial oversight or review of his acts, Mohamed Morsi followed his decrees by making an effort to push through a referendum on an Islamist-supported draft constitution.
June 30 2013, millions of Egyptians flooded the streets of Cairo with tens of thousands of protesters surrounding the presidential palace demanding the resignation of Morsi.
The military announced that it would intervene on behalf of the protesters. On 3 July Egyptian armed forces headed by General Abdul Fatah al-Sisi acted on its 48 hours ultimatum to intervene and ousted Morsi, suspended the constitution, and called for early elections.
Violence erupted between the military and the Muslim Brotherhood.
On March 24, 2014 an Egyptian court sentenced 529 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to death
Al-Sisi ran for president in 2014 elections and won 96.9% of the vote.

The Taliban originated in Pakistan and infiltrated into Afghanistan next door.
Osama Bin-Laden is a Saudi who went to Afghanistan and was trained by the US to help fight the Soviet occupation there. After that OBL returned to Saudi. It is there where he formed Al Qaida, most of his recruits coming from the south along the Yemen border where Saudi (and Yemen) have little control. Most of those in the 9/11 groups were from this area.
Saudi engineers I talked to when I lived in Saudi said OBL was considered a hero to the young Saudis mostly because he put action to words, unlike the Saudi government that was trying to be more subtle.
The Saudi government did not like OBL’s methods although the two had the same objectives – the spread of Islam (including Shariah law). They kicked OBL out where he then went to Somalia. From there he moved Al Qaida to Afghanistan where the Taliban left him alone to do as he wished.
After 9/11 when the US went in to Afghanistan it was primarily for Al Qaida. The Taliban controlled some parts of Afghanistan but mostly Afghanistan was controlled by local chieftains, each with their own territory carved out. That is who the US worked with most. The Taliban’s focus during this period was trying to convert the Afghans to Islam.
After the US had been there awhile they decided to start this ‘Nation Building’. That’s when the Taliban became more enemies of the US because this ‘Nation Building’ put the US at odds with Islam.
President Donald J Trump had the best solution.
Broker a deal to have us withdraw all our civilians, Afghan aides, and our military – in that order – and we would leave them alone if they prove they will leave us alone, while brokering peace deals between like-minded Muslim countries and Israel who would work to drive the terrorists from their respective countries.
Pres Trump’s solution was working. It was taking us out of the nation-building chaos and working for the U.S. and not other countries. We wouldn’t meddle in their affairs and they wouldn’t meddle in ours. Peace was being achieved.
But alas, our traitors in D.C. cannot refrain from meddling in and controlling other people’s lives. Talk about hubris.

It occurs to this writer that the admission is not merely intended to deflect blame for the exit fiasco but, signals a shift in boogeyman intentionally. Under Trump, peace was breaking out all over. If China is the biggest threat to us and everyone not to mention to the poor Taiwanese about to be “liberated” once again under mainland rule and I think they are but, easily stopped with the right man in the white house. Russia has not mouthed a threatening word since before Gorbachev except stay out of our neighborhood. A stable ally planted right in between Iran and Pakistan could not be allowed by the MB and we know who is really in charge. By destabilizing that area and helping create a larger contiguous caliphate, he achieves his aims there while simultaneously taking all focus off China for the foreseeable future so business can be conducted with their ideological brethren there already set up with Joe and Hunter’s assistance during Obama’s first two terms in office.
