Many moons ago, Steve Bannon had a guy on the warroom called Lou Barletta who is running as an R for governor and at the time, I thought he sounded decent. I ended up getting unsolicited emails from him and kept them because someday I meant to research him.
That day coincidentally, was today. I went to his site this morning looking for positions and contact info.
Noticed immediately that he had a squishy-sounding vague statement on election integrity that said nothing.
There was, similarly, nothing about COVID-1984 tyranny to be seen.
However, in the survey he had up today, the last item was something about helping foster animals.
Now, I have two cats and love animals as much as the next person, but please – after all that is happening to our country today, that’s supposed to be a campaign issue?
So in Teddy’s speech I hear him mention, disparagingly, “a guy we have running for Governor.”
I’m guessing he meant Lou Barletta. Any PA treepers on the ground who can confirm?

No idea about Lou, but Sean Parnell is running for Senate. He had the election rug ripped from under him during the night while they were “not counting” for the evening.

I do hope someone else tries for Governor in PA, though, because states’ rights have never been as important as they are now in the stolen swing states.
Lou Barletta is running for Governor and that is who Teddy was referring to. Lou, personally, is a nice person, but a terrible candidate. He ran against Casey f0r US Senate in 2018 and his campaign was a disaster. It did not help that it was in 2018, a bad year for Republicans and that he received no help from the PA GOP, but he had little charisma, was a mediocre stump speaker and ran next to no ads. He supported Trump, but his voting record while in Congress is what I would call a cross between RINO lite and MAGA lite. He would probably lose. PA can do better.
I like Teddy, I hope he wins, but honestly, it is the same old tired speech I have heard for the last umpteen years from just about every candidate. Sean Parnell is running again in PA, this time for a Senate seat. It would be great if these two could win.

Excellent speech and very strong. However, there is one comment I don’t agree with and that is generation(s) before let them down. No voter has let anyone down. Its a privilege and yes often treated lightly but a choice nonetheless. Its the representatives that has let us down. Once they needed our votes and actually kept their word. They lived in their districts and listened to those who spoke. Now they are above the citizens and only listen to the speaker, second speaker and whip (if that’s what they are called). We get upset because they won’t tell us what’s in a bill. They don’t know what’s in a bill. They depend on staffers to tell them. Don’t blame voters.
