Is this ADE actually occurring? I have relatives who work in major hospitals and no one has seen a single case of this. With half of the adult population vaxxed, many of them still getting COVID and recovering, I am a bit skeptical.

I am only a couple of years away from retirement. One of my goals was to sail my boat up the east coast, anchoring near NYC and seeing the sights. Do not really see that happening as of now, I think I will just stand out to sea and make for Nova Scotia.
I will never vacation or venture into a major “blue” city again-that includes Columbus, OH, which is 20 minutes from me. To be honest, I don’t think I would be protected from the “Boys in Blue” due to liberal agendas.
Hubby and I had pre-retirement/retirement plans which have significantly changed due to the whole Scamdemic. We are preparing ourselves to be somewhat unscathed during the next few years, and enjoying quality time with our adult daughters. They are the most important thing in our lives, and beyond that, the rest is a bonus.

My retirement was 17 years out before covid nonsense hit. My employer has said the jab or my job by Sept 21–could we be in another lockdown and/or nation-wide vaxx mandate by then? Who knows.

Unfortunately, I don’t have hope for New Yorkers. A well-read neighborhood (Manhattan)blog did a write-up today on the new vaccine mandate, and to my horror, 100% of the comments were in support.
The irony is the yuppie / millennial Manhattanites, who are petrified of COVID but are not at risk of dying, are all in on this . However the low income neighborhoods in other parts of the City ( Bronx , Brooklyn ) are low vaxed and I seriously doubt the City will heavily enforce the rule in these neighborhoods . They will let in slide there, but will do showboating enforcement in Upper East Side , Mid Town and Tribeca etc
Don’t forget that the everyday people of the low income neighborhoods can’t afford to go out to eat like the well-heeled in Manhattan. Nor do they go to Broadway shows or belong to indoor gyms. These are the people who are more hesitant to get the vax. DeBlasio is such an idiot. His edict will only hit visitors and they can go elsewhere to vacation.
And when the employers start demanding compliance, the service industries will collapse. After all, between unemployment, the additional money from the government, and now the extension of the eviction moratorium, you can stay home and live quite well.

I read on twitter there will be a big demonstration in the City Hall area this weekend, which would be a surprise, since it seems that all that’s left in NYC now are supporters of the Democrat Crime Syndicate and Communism and isn’t this what they’ve all wanted?
I feel sorry for anyone who owns property in NYC. Watch property values drop like a rock now that the Communists are in full control of this once great city. It is almost as bad as the ChiComs moving in on Hong Kong, except the Democrat’s KGB-like squads are not in full force yet. Give them a few months. They will have unmarked vans patrolling the streets, setting up check points, and hauling people away, never to be heard from again.
What businesses would remain there with these new laws requiring vaccine passports? Forget being a restaurant owner or trying to run a theater. Tourism is dead and never coming back. You’d have to have your head examined to stay in this mess of a place. Get yourself and your family out as quick as you can if you are unfortunate enough to still live there. I have had the CHINA VIRUS and now have anti-bodies and my God given immune system to ward off the variants. I never hear anyone discussing the anti-bodies, or the readily available and known protocols to address the CHINA VIRUS such as HCQ and Ivermectin. One of my abiding memories of visiting NYC was going into that place with another couple who were good friends and hosted our trip to town. The husband, a good guy and very familiar w/the city, flat refused to take the subway, saying it was far too dangerous and especially dirty for us to be around. We walked around Broadway and Times Square, then headed for home. The memory comes from what my pal made all four of us do – take off our shoes and leave them outside the front door to the house, where he sprayed them down with Lysol and insisted on leaving them overnight. He didn’t go into it with the girls around us, but when alone did tell me what he’d seen in that town while visiting it while on the job. Incredibly filthy, trash and every sort of expectorant and purged bodily fluid on the pavement wherever you went. The whole place smelled like that. And this clown is going to lecture us about health, and healthy living?? Whiskey – Tango – Foxtrot??
Do they actually expect a store or restaurant owner to sit there with empty tables turning away customers! This is one more of the endless war to destroy the economy and business owners! Anyone reading this is far enough down the covid rabbit hole to have figured out by now that there is something much more afoot to this entire thing than a virus with an IFR similar to the Flu.
What we are looking at, with the push to mass vaccinations, and prior to that mass testing, is essentially the largest biogenetic experiment the world has ever seen. The entire globe is the test subject.
Having successfully installed the spike protein into the SARs virus, lab analysis revealed it to have a IFR similar to the flu, but it being resistant to temperature, and more virulent. There was simply no way to create the desired mutation of the proceeding with a high IFR. What was needed was millions of test subjects, millions of tests, and the kicker of a vaccine to push the population to develop the desired virus, within their own person. The odds greatly go up that someone out there, of the millions of infected people will produce a variant of very high IFR years faster than a lab could. Judging only by the continuation of pushing for more vaccinations and more tests, the exact right variant has not been found yet, or, the variant has been found, and will be released after a vaccine is created that will give TPAB immunity from it. Once it is released, everyone is at risk. We can see from the data that the Indian variant is not it. They may be working on it to see if they can bump up the IFR, and possibly others that have been detected, but the fact remains the best option for a variant that produces the results desired, is the population at large.

Although always living elsewhere, I grew up loving this freaking city. From a very young age, my Mom would always take me to the city to visit once a year. I experienced its up and downs over the years. I saw the bad times through the 70s, 80s, and into the 90s, but once Rudy took over it demonstrably changed. I went for three years straight to the Big East tournament in basketball from 2007-2010 and the city was amazing.
It has now degraded so much I won’t ever think of ever going back. This place is going to need a fence or wall built up around it.
