The headline was a little misleading, but an understandable mistake as the USBP tweet was misleading. El Paso border sector apprehensions are 135,000 so far for the fiscal year. Now that does not count Arizona or New Mexico. It also doesn’t count who we don’t know about. The best guess is the final numbers are going to be around 2 million. I personally think it will be closer to 3 million. And these numbers are if the destruction of our border policies don’t get any worse.
If amnesty attempts are not loudly and forcibly talked against, forget even if it doesn’t pass, throw those numbers out the window. Because just the thought of amnesty will easily double those numbers. Which means they will double, because of course we have Republicans in Congress that want amnesty almost as much as they want to get re-elected.

My parents were visiting family in Vermont, a couple of months ago, when my mother decided to see an old friend who lived just over the border in Quebec.
Her friend couldn’t cross the border without being forced to quarantine when she returned home, so they decided to meet at the Haskell Free Library, which straddles the border, in Derby Line, Vt. and Rock Island, PQ.
My mother stood on the U.S. side of the border (maskless) and her friend stood on the Canadian side of the border (masked), while border officials from both countries observed the meeting and warned them to not cross the sidewalk to exchange hugs.
It’s absurd.
On one side of the country people are flooding across the border unchecked, while on the opposite side of the country two old ladies, who may never see each other again, can’t even stand on the border and hug each other.

I swear some teams are all Hispanics and there are hundreds of ‘family’ there. NO English whatsoever spoken. You think you are in Mexico. Schools are over-run with non-English speaking kids. ER and medical facilities are overwhelmed with visits that are used as a MD office. Our social services dept if overwhelmed and We The People FUND IT ALL!!!! THIS is OUR America in rural NC. I live in the Erie, PA area and officially Erie now has below 100,000 people, we lost people from the 2010 – 2020 decade. There should be plenty of open rentals but there isn’t .
