The headline here is a twist on a great book about how to not be a participant in your abuse called “Codependent No More“. The message directly relates to something CTH discusses frequently in both articles and in the comments section.
In order to stop being abused, you must first stop making excuses for your abuser. Accept things as they are, not as you interpret them to be. This tweet by Robert Barnes is a great example:
At first blush Barnes is saying something we can all agree with. Yes, Liz Cheney is toxic to the base of support within the republican party; and yes, the GOP putting Cheney into a very visible position of leadership tells us something. However, the visiblity of Liz Cheney is not because the GOPe are stupidly disconnected from their base, Liz Cheney is purposefully visible because the GOPe wants her there. She is a feature not a flaw or mistake; and the GOP totally gets it.
The Republican party believes the conservative voter base of the party is the problem, not the leadership. Please accept that as an empirical fact or we will continue to have discussions that are misinterpretations of motive. From the mindset of the institutional Republican party YOU are the problem, not Liz Cheney.
When you finally accept that the RNC wing of the UniParty hates you, literally hates their base of voters, only then can you begin to break the cycle known as “Battered Conservative Syndrome.”
However, to break this toxic mindset we must stand firm against the abuser. THEY are the problem, not you. THEY work for you, not vice-versa.
The GOP leadership is supposed to represent your priorities, not carry out their priorities while managing your angst.
We The People are being abused by them.
Everything they are doing – they are doing because what they are doing is exactly what they want to do.
The institutional republican leadership are not making mistakes. Accept who they are.
Battered Conservative No More!
If you are a regular reader of this site you are generally a person who engages in intellectual discussion on daily events and more than likely a root cause thinker. Meaning you are able to grasp events at their cause and not at their consequence.
However, for some reason, many of those who understand big picture dynamics are still comfortable sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Many people are still clinging to actual beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to National Leadership.
You’d better change that thinking quickly – or you’ll be asking ‘what happened’ far too late.
There seems to be a willful blindness on the part of the American people, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.
It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of “I can’t see what’s happening” because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate.
“I can’t see it” just doesn’t cut it anymore.
When there is that much money at stake, why would they care one wit what the minions think.
Well, when the GOP asks you for money, do the “Nancy,” and “ just say no.” When the Republican Women’s Groups want you to attend a fundraiser for a RINO; Don’t. When they ask you to make calls, knock on doors, mailer, etc. Decline to participate. The lobbyists cannot win on money alone. They need “ on the ground” support.
Trillions of dollars at stake. And we know that now more than ever thanks to Sundance. I’ve learned so much about the economics of our country thanks to Sundance. And I can’t unsee it.
Here Here!! I too have learned so much from Sundance & the many intelligent posters on CTH. Still my go-to site for “real” news & information.
People only see what’s happening on there street same way with GOP Trumps not gone so we may get some where if this stuff gets bad enough to get to there street where it can be seen.
Most people get their news from a headline or 30 second soundbite – no context. We are all well aware of how they create clickbait
Punctuation goes a long way.
Sundance ?
Much appreciated.
This message bears repeating, over and over and over. Remarkable just how many people go back to complacent sleep at the very first chance they get. America’s perilous condition will not fix itself. We are well beyond wishin’ and hopin’ and dreamin’, to borrow a line from Dusty Springfield.
My Mom(Huge fan of CTH) and I had this discussion this weekend and I think it comes down to the fact that it is extremely hard to keep up with all the ways they are intentionally destroying us. Most get moments of clarity and are able to make informed decisions(Trump, Regan) but most folks are just trying to get by(and that is intentional) school, soccer, kids, homework, busy, busy, groceries, bills and it is all important, but what is more important? I know from experience that to keep your eye on the ball and maintain a job and a family there is little room for sleep, and that is 7 days a week. I don’t blame them, those of us who can just need to make sure we inform them, meetings at your church, dinner, bar, it doesn’t matter where just that you do. And don’t waste time on diehard libs, they will not be converted.
I see a correlation with people who may have gone back to watching Fox News out of habit. Never forget how they backstabbed Trump with the Arizona call on election night and refused to give air to election-fraud information. It’s part of the same system as the RNC. As Sundance says, chaff and countermeasures.
The Hannity repubs
I fail to understand why there is not a big of push from “the base” to completely flush the RNC as there is to flush the leadership. Maybe SD is counting the RNC in “the institutional Republican leadership”. If so, I am in complete agreement.
A lot of the GOP’s money comes from small-money donors. As Pres. Trump comes in and tries to vacuum up all those donors, while telling those same people not to give to the GOP, I think that will produce the flushing effect we all desire.
Absolutely agree.
People of power bought their way into the Republican party, with some having been there for multiple generations. Those same folks will buy their seat again to remain at the table. That is why people Like Liz Cheney get re-elected, and the same with Romney. Good luck trying to flush ANY of the dirtbags out on their asses. May I suggest that you begin with Ronna McDaniel? The “Base” has been played for fools for a very long time. The Uniparty is deeply entrenched.
Yes, but do you think if Liz had 100 Billion dollars she could win the GOPe primary in WY? I don’t think so. At the same time we must be aware that with that kind of currency various forms of bribery and threats against those that count the vote can occur. But I don’t think some flashy ad about how Liz fights for MAGA running 24/7 in WY is going to fool anyone but the low information Republican voter.
Ronna Romney McDaniel.
DEAR.. I fix it for you- RONNA DELECTO.!!!! and deal with her as you with -mitten…
….yes…first should be rid off -Ronna Delecto- ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because people get faked out over and over and over and over by the likes of Kristi Noem – aka the female John Thune. They do stylistic stuff we like – wear a cowboy hat or pull a Joe Manchin and shoot the Obamacare bill with a rifle. These decepticon candidates bray on mindlessly like Sean Hannity about “hypocrisy” and “double standards”. Listen to Jim Jordan (Trey Gowdy 2.0) for a perfect example. He’s always in high dudgeon about something (pure theater), but if he ever got the chance to demand, for example, that high tech MONOPOLIES be neutral platforms (like the phone company), all of a sudden he becomes Mr. Libertardian Free Market. Go start your own Facebook. Go star your own YouTube! Go start your own internet, they say.
The best way to tell who will stand up to the UniParty is to see who will say NO to their schemes to intervene in other countries’ business. No to war in Syria. No to war with Iran. No to getting involved with the Saudi war in Yemen. No to military action in Myanmar or Venezuela.
Also, be wary if they say things like “Most people at the FBI are good people.” Bullshit. The FBI is a corrupt and crooked part of a corrupt and crooked DOJ, which is part of a corrupt and crooked federal government. The Supreme Court is 7/9ths crooks. Anyone willing to say that is probably someone reasonably trustworthy.
I feel as you about these sycophant’s. I want someone who walks the talk. The day Hannity as an example, started talking FBI Choir Boy’s was the day I said, “Hannity, go screw yourself”.
Oh Fangdog, you said it. While the “GFY” mentality may be judged infantile by some, there is a legitimate, solid, satisfying freedom in that attitude. It doesn’t mean one doesn’t care, it means that captivity, forced or chosen, is no longer possible. Period. VVSGPDJT leads by example and I’d say 80 million+ followers is a substantial force to be reckoned with. This is a time of regrouping and we see more clearly than ever.
Thank you for the response. I think you are on target. I will readily admit I have been fooled countless times by those ending up to be decepticons. As an example, I’m still in the camp that thinks Jim Jordan is one of the keepers. That being said, I won’t be surprised if I end up being wrong yet again.
You mentioned Pawn Hannity. One of the main reasons I dialed him out was his endless mantra of,”If I had any sense I’d move out of the New York City metro.” NO, Pawn, you will not move out of the NYC metro because you are married to your income at Fox, and to your status in “society” there. What a turd. Makes me ashamed to be part Irish, he does. Someone ask Pawn Hannity how many millions of dollars Donald Trump gave up in his effort to put our nation back on course. But then Trump has scruples, and puts honor of country ahead of money.
No question there are budding and full on Decepticons within the ranks of MAGA but consider this. If we get good at removing them it won’t take long before Decepticons realize their time will be short if they betray MAGA. Second one thing I have observed is that uniparty system of control corrupts even those who go in initially as MAGA.
We need to provide 100% pro-MAGA funding for our MAGA Reps plus legal support. The people we want are uncorrupted Patriots but most will have very little in personal resources to defend themselves against the Lawfare swamp creatures that inhabit the District of Corruption. Most of the MAGA funding won’t be for ads but for legal protection of our Patriots doing battle in the swamp.
The only guy I think MIGHT be decent is DeSantis and even then I expect him to turn on us. I expect them all to turn on us. A lot of people seem to run on HOPE and it makes them act like DOPES. I don’t hope for better politicians to emerge from nowhere, somehow all coming into power in one amazing election season. When in world history has this EVER happened?
What’s coming is conflict, the real kind. People need to prepare for it in a real way. You cannot vote your way out of slavery.
I like DeSantis. Hopefully he understands that we no longer want to be policeman to the world. Bring the troops home, and send them to the southern border to help build the wall. We can handle the US-Canadian border with snipers for the time being.
We the people can’t get rid of incumbents(they get big $$$ and stifle any who want to primary them)….there simply are too many of them and look at the horrible GOPe prez candidates of the past several yrs. It’s why I continue to pray that with more declaring themselves independent when they register to vote that viable 3rd parties could spring up. Instead, the prez is setting up a PAC to fund good candidates. Maybe that effort can get us what we want—which is fewer RINOs.
There has been from me. I’ve known from the beginning that the RNC/GOP must be brought to its knees by people un-registering by the multiple millions and refusing to donate. As long as the GOP still has its membership they will get other money from multi-billionaire globalists and corporate donors. When the membership and support is down to nothing then the GOP is nothing. People can still register as Independent and Unaffiliated voters and in most states vote in the primaries and general election. They can even vote for a Republican candidate that is not Uniparty, Globalist, and Open borders but the GOP cannot be changed otherwise, if even ever. I’m still hoping for a Third Party. The GOP would have to be gutted for even a chance to change it.
SD, I see it and I am mad as hell.
Oh God I wish Dad would take her hunting.
Ouch , RedBall ! ?LOL?
I see what you did there, RBE.
Insert smiley face here for me!
Hello
Which is why GOPe leadership McCarthy REMOVED Rep Marjorie Green from her committees and why Lizzy stayed in leadership.
McCarthy needs to be primaried or in the least not the speaker after 2022. He has to be removed.
DJT should be Speaker if the Rs retake the House in 2022.g
That’s never going to happen. President Trump will never run for the House of Representatives.
Way below him. Wishful thinking tho.
Even tho he never will. Republicans would never let that happen.! ??♂️
One need not be a member of the House to be the Speaker of the House.
The majority chooses their Speaker.
An interesting thought.
The Constitution does not require the speaker to be an incumbent member of the House of Representatives, although every speaker thus far has been.
I’ve said for more than a month, he should run for rep, flip the chambers, be speaker, impeach JoeBama &n CommiL and slip right into his rightful Oval chair.
STOP this BS… VSG/ESG PDJT ….is rightfully elected …it is after last not so much corrupted institution ….to get him back to WH….
Has Trump supported her yet?
Or is this her audition?
I do not trust any in the fed Government
Few maybe in State
old junk fixer,
On “the real” President’s website, he has a list of current folks he is endorsing:
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/news
He also made nicey with RINO Blunt.
https://t.me/real_DonaldJTrump/13403
I agree, we need to have RINO and RAT list to make sure we have PDJT vetted MAGA primary opponent in each race. My rough guess is that over 2/3 of the Republican Representatives need to removed by primary in 2022. I was thinking we could raise MAGA money with deck of cards, on the back side is all they did to prove they were RINOs and RATs while in office. In fact we may need to have at least three different decks of cards. Plus we also need the same thing at the State level. So who gets to be the Joker? There is one in every deck.
We don’t use that language here. Go back to redstate.com
Be specific. What language are you referring to from my comment:
“Which is why GOPe leadership McCarthy REMOVED Rep Marjorie Green from her committees and why Lizzy stayed in leadership.
McCarthy needs to be primaried or in the least not the speaker after 2022. He has to be removed.”
Go back yourself.
I think the poster mistakenly replied to you. I read a post earlier that has been removed. It was a gay slur directed at McCarthy.
Take it easy…Maincoon has been around here for some time.
Oh, lookie. Prime example hot off the press of GOP slamming Rep Marjorie Green for asking for roll call votes. My, my. UNI-GOP hates to show us how they vote, because they HATE us & hate Rep Green. UNI guy throws slews that some have too much time on their hands…..
FTA: Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia came under fire from fellow GOP lawmakers after she, alongside members of the House Freedom Caucus, made plans Monday night to ask for a roll call on several suspension bills.
The move would force Democrats to delay votes on 13 pieces of relatively uncontroversial legislation. One bill called for Congressional Gold Medals to be awarded to members of the Capitol Police Force and the Washington Metropolitan Police Department. Other bills focused on child abuse prevention, literacy and credit management, among other things.
Due to the House of Representatives’ COVID-19 restrictions, it would take 10 hours to pass the bills with a roll call vote on each measure.
https://www.newsweek.com/marjorie-taylor-greene-comes-under-republican-fire-shenanigans-house-floor-1574882
Marjorie Taylor Green is now the most effective legislator in D.C. – she is tying up the uniparty rubber-stamp “process” by using the rules to require roll-call votes and such.
The uniparty is both embarrassed and not happy. Prayers up for MTG! She represents all real Americans.
A big thank you to her district!!
She is the most effective. Love her “sloganed’ face diapers. Every day it’s a new one and always triggers everyone!
McCarthy has always been a RINO. Same with Mitch.
Stolen election nothing to see here, and don’t bring it up again.
Good one! Also, accurate!
Mopar or no car brother!
Lol…I think you for missed the biggest influencer Chy-nah.
PERFECT..TURTLE HEAD…
yes…this is 2nd person after ronna delecto is rid off- mccarthy.. and after turtle …rid off them all !!!!!
Does this mean that we’re finished with the cold anger?
Personally I’m at the point of incandescent rage at all things Uniparty.
We’re finished with the Cold Anger, and now firmly in the DeceptiCon Necessary Construct Big Ugly. Apparently.
No. Until the reasons for it are removed or resolved by us or someone who represents us, cold anger remains.
I forget how high the Kelvin temperature scale goes, by my anger is roughly akin to the surface of the Sun. My rage–I can’t think of a better description for my emotion–is off the charts.
But then again, my feeling of helplessness is also unbearable. I’ve made this comparison on this site (and others) several times, but it bears repeating:
Imagine being on an operating table literally seconds before the surgeon begins work with his scalpel, but instead of being anesthetized and unaware, you’re completely lucid and awake; except the anesthesia has completely blocked your ability to move, grunt or even blink. Even your breathing is being assisted. And then the unimaginable happens….the surgeon begins slicing into your skin, then cutting into and exploring your body cavity–and the entire time, you’re completely aware of and FEELING what is happening.
That is how I feel at this moment.
I have said for a long time so many on this website sound like a bunch of co-dependents.
Yep. True. I am familiar with the books co dependent no more by M Beattie. I read them in the 90s. Sure enough I start reading the comments and not one solution. What are YOU doing about it? I started my fight this morning with grocer HEB. Abbott being a disgusting POS left the unmasking of our state up to the businesses and judges which of course bent the knee to the Marxists. Yesterday the mask nazi, standing behind the MASKS REQUIRED sign at the door offered me a mask. I gave her an emphatic NO. Happily, I saw more unmasked than I had ever seen ever. I greeted each with a Hello, American! This morning I read HEB had caved to pressure and was requiring masks. I wrote them a letter telling them at no time would I ever wear a mask. If it was forced I would go off on aforementioned nazi and just a heads up to make them aware. If HEB were really concerned they would be offering free N95 masks and delivery and curb surface would be free but they aren’t. I am prepared to stand in front with a sign and protest. Are you?
YES
1000 up vote….can not believe…what some readers think…..
“It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
― Upton Sinclair
We need to call out the so called conservative pretenders loud and immediately. If Liz is running for even dog catcher, we need to remind everyone she is someone, who like the leftist, doesn’t care about the constitution or her constituents. Maybe she can get a job on K street.
I would add that given the state of deep blue areas, kept that way via voter fraud, the DNC uni-party wing hates their voters as well.
In short ‘both’ wings of the uni-party hates the American people because those that fund them hate us.
There is only one way to fix a stacked deck…..52 pick-up. The Party needs to be burned to the ground. WE need to take it over, just like the wackos did to the ‘Rat party. SEND THEM PACKING!
They have done such a great job supporting thier constitutes views
That we should never dare question thier actions.
The Drug they are on is more addictive then any other substance.
It’s called MONEY
too bad for them
The curtain came down and they stand naked before us
I feel like puking
Excellent, Sundance. I think the disconnect is due to the difficulty some have in seeing that many we thought were patriots have now been exposed as co-conspirators with the Dems.
As each day goes by, it is easier to accept that what appeared first as ineptitude is now clearly double dealing. Call them out. Do not fund them. Face reality.
Remind yourself that NOT ONE of them EVER challenged Mitch when he would not allow recess appointments. Not Cruz, not Paul, not Hawley. Why not? Which “Republican “ senator has clean hands?
Anyone in the House and Senate is SCUM
Anyone connected to Federal Gov is Corrupt
Top to bottom
Nobody came out and
Threw it down to do the right thing.
None
You might have some State gov worth something
Maybe
Arizona – keep up with Dr. Lyle Rapacki of Prescott e-news, and We the People of Arizona – who are recalling the (ir)responsible parties who “allegedly” corrupted the Maricopa County elections. Dramatic corruption sh*t going down in the past few days alone. Check it out! Arizona Senate’s follow-through on this may be the domino that starts a set of nationwide election fraud investigation dominoes a-fallin’ down! HOPE! And pray!
And as every cop will tell you, the most dangerous time for a victim of domestic violence is when they FINALLY decide to leave, BUT once they get out of the relationship, a whole new world of amazing possibilities suddenly opens up. I am desperately praying that millions and millions of Americans are FINALLY at the point where they are ready to #walkaway from BOTH wings of the Uni-party!!
Starve the beast and we can take back the country but it will require a LOT of people to wake up and stop accepting the lie that “their guy (or gal)” is really doing a pretty good job. It’s just that they are battling “those horrible people” on the OTHER side of the aisle!
No, Sparky, both sides are working together to keep you so busy pointing fingers at everyone else that you don’t notice they going into the backroom TOGETHER and cutting deals that only benefit them! And, by the way, they are BOTH laughing at us while they slap each other on the back!
Liz Cheney is Paul Ryan is Mike Pence is Nancy Pelosi is Chuck Schumer is Mitt Romney is Lisa Murkowski is Maxine Waters is Richard Burr is Lindsey Graham….need I go on?
The leaders of what we call the left and right get together in back rooms and tell ‘voter jokes’. They talk about how easy it is to get us at each others’ throats while they pick our pockets.
MAGA has to walk away from the uniparty.
You make a good point, vikingmom. Y’all note that come election season, folks mouth off about term limits and shout, throw da bums out … except for THEIR precious representatives and Senators. Oh nooo, those folks are just fine and dandy and need to stay in office for friggin-ever.
Honestly who gets any constituent service from any of these goons? Why is ANYONE loyal to any of them? Because they’re “our guy” somehow? CUI BONO from any of these pukes? I have never had ONE THING done on my behalf by ANY “representative” at any level.
I agree, the walk away movement of former Democrats is part of that awaking as well. We are only picking the GOPe for takeover because we have better MAGA foothold in that wing of the uni-party than the Dem wing.
A key part of the messaging will be branding MAGA representatives as not GOPe but simple a true second party, with PDJT as leader, utilizing the party mechanism of the GOPe to get into office.
“There seems to be a willful blindness on the part of the American people, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.”
Denial. Unfortunately, a trait that will be the death of us.
I just talked to someone today that is completely clueless about Joesph Stolen’s mental state. I predicted that they are going to remove him soon under the pretext of a sudden medical issue. He didn’t believe it. He thought Joe is healthy as a horse and PDJT is the one with all the mental issues. Can’t wait to hear his explanation in the future. Ironically he also countered what that Kamala Harris had done a lot to help the common person. Talking about her actual past was labeled as dis-information. There are none so blind as those that won’t see.
“Root cause thinker” is EXACTLY right. While growing up in the transportation business, we were always taught that accidents always led back to a “root cause” … a failure to train properly, or to recognize aberrant behavior that tends to pile up into lapses that lead to lost-time injuries and accidents, or worse. The political establishment has worked EXTREMELY hard to make “Root cause thinking” an un-personable offense, hence all the “everything is racist / sexist / anti-gender-confusion” rhetoric. They don’t want ANYONE getting back to the root, which is, of course, their continued theft of our wealth and continual attempts to make it sanctioned by “law”.
Ayn Rand wrote about this instinct amongst corruptocrats 70 years ago. It must have been common in the Soviet Union from which she escaped.
“He was doling his sentences out with cautious slowness, balancing himself between word and intonation to hit the right degree of semi-clarity. He wanted her to understand, but he did not want her to understand fully, explicitly, down to the root—since the essence of that modern language, which he had learned to speak expertly, was never to let oneself or others understand anything down to the root.”
To help Rob, it is important in terms of observations to note when there was a vote on Liz Cheney staying in her leadership position Kevin McCarthy made sure it was a secret ballot to protect congresspeople from being on record. Kevin McCarthy is the enabler, and same as Liz Cheney it is about special interests and big donors vs. the MAGA base.
On the Senate side, while at this, if Mitch McConnell is on his way out I do think we need to consider who will take his place. For all Treepers to note, John Cornyn is laying low, positioned by the Decepticons to take over from McConnell, and he is just as bad. If MAGA wants a better replacement for Mitch they are going to have to think steps ahead, and go after Cornyn, Barraso, and others right now. It is a shame that it is hard to identify any reliable Senator right now to back to be a MAGA ally.
For MAGA as a whole, I hope President Trump looks to Peter Navarro as a right hand man and potentially future Chief of Staff. Peter Navarro gets it, has good brain capacity, is reliable, and unlike Bannon and some others is also a steady team player.
You are so right about Cornyn. He is one of my Senators and Uniparty all the way. He did talk a good game, now he doesn’t even do that anymore. He is just mini-Mitch waiting to receive his place in the pecking order.
Yes excellent question, almost like fantasy football, who is the MAGA pick to run the minority in the Senate?
Rick Scott has ended up as a big disappointment after initially giving the impression he was going to the swamp to change it. Rand Paul flashes promising signs now and again but is still sketchy, as we saw recently over the election fraud. Marsha Blackburn is rather typical of the bunch in that she always talks big about bills against Big Tech she knows will go nowhere while staying silent on inaction against Section 230. Hawley could be closest, but at times he looks like Cruz v2.0, staying silent when he goes along with cheap labor visa giveaways to Big Tech. A disappointing spineless mediocre bunch.
“our list of allies grows thin”
To paraphrase Harry Truman’s famous comment to a reporter: In an election between a Democrat and a Democrat the Democrat will win every time! Doesn’t the RNC understand that? Of course they do but they don’t care if a Democrat wins!
With apologies to Mr. Truman, the GOP enjoys losing, just so long as it is done with dignity.
“You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the end — which you can never afford to lose — with the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.” — ADM James Stockdale
I think the concept of the Stockdale Paradox is worth exploring in our present situation, and encourage others to look into it.

Interesting. Thanks for posting. Didn’t know it had a name.

I would add, you need to turn anger into positive energy and resolve directed at protecting yourself and family from what is coming while aligning with other Patriots to push for better outcomes for everyone. One thing is for sure, ignore it won’t reduce the impact of what is coming. The simple fact is that the Grizzly Adams strategy of fleeing into the woods to live with friendly bear, may work for a few, but won’t work for 300 million people, not enough bears or food.
Ayn Rand said something similar: “You can ignore reality; but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”
I see I’m not the only one hearing echoes of her insight here today…
Locally, most of those around us are uneasy about what they see underway, but are not well versed on the details.
“The devil is in the details.”
Also, they do not believe that we are realistically on the brink of losing our Constitution and our Republic.
Ostriches. They are missing the memo on purpose because they “can’t handle the truth”.
Excuse me, “LOSING our Constitution and our Republic”???? Hell, we already lost both on 1/20 when the coup was successful. We just haven’t suffered the consequences yet!
As bad as were the results rendered by our elected officials under the Capitol Dome on 01/06/21, and the subsequent Installation, I am not at the point of conceding, taking my toys, and going home. This is the beginning; not the end, unless we roll over and give up.
Actually, it was stolen from us.
Then the thieves put up a fence and guard, to hide behind.
And banned any protests.
Banned certain words.
If those words are spoken or typed the author will be erased from the public discussion. And likely prosicuted for crimes real or invented.
Just like a.g ken paxton is for daring say what we all know is true.
Simple little words that when placed in a certain order can trigger such an overwhelming defense from every power at the government’s disposal.
What can a mere citizen do without even being allowed to use the words needed to express a solution to the problem?
To assemble the people in numbers necessary to make a difference?
To inform without censorship?
How many in your inner circle can you speak with candidly?
We live in same area, just curious.
The opening of the state will increase my reach.?
Yes elections have consequences, ‘especially’ stolen ones.
I am quite shock how some on CTH are unreal see comments -warrprin1- do you realize there been coup against rightfully elected president ??????…..
It’s going to be up to the people of Wyoming to throw her out of office. The eGOP will increase her visibility to try and sucker the rubes. You can’t blame them…it has worked as recently as December with the whole “Save the Senate” charade…until that Senate race went down in the predetermined flames we all predicted.
Saving America has to start with destroying the Republican Party.
Removing the RINOs of the GOPe wing party is our objective. Though once we have done that re-branding the name (Great American Party) and logo (Lion) might also go a long way toward showing that the GOP Party is under new management. Business do it all the time, keep their legal name and then say the are doing business under another. After we have a strong enough foothold we can file the paperwork in all States to make our legal name the same.
So,
Step One – Primary every uniparty republican in Congress.
Step Two – Take Back the House and Senate in 2022 (local focus and local action).
Step Three – Choke off funding and Investigate, investigate, investigate. Create alt media.
Step Four – Impeach fhe D President for high crimes.
Step Five – Restore our rightful President.
Easily stated. Hard to achieve. Will take 80,000,000 million.
We have a lot of people who suffer from battered conservative syndrome. And there are at least 2 here who have signed up to challenge her in the primary. That’s 2 too many.
One too many, but I get your point. In many ways, this is why we need our own party with our own nominating process that prevents the “splitter” strategy. Maybe both of those folks are rock solid MAGA types…but if they don’t swallow their pride and consolidate around one candidate, she will win.
I’m not even sure they hate us. I think it’s worse than that. I think they don’t give a second thought to us, unless they’re up for re-election–or we’re standing on their front door step and scaring the hell out of ’em! Then, suddenly it’s time to “manage” those damn peons so that they stay far, far away, and the “overlords” can do whatever they want.
Really, from where I sit, it’s not too different from being a slave.
Here is what I have noticed about the ‘voting’ record of the Decepticons in the GOPe. When they are in the minority, and thus sure to lose the vote, they generally vote as a block against the anti-MAGA legislation.
That way they build their MAGA voter street credit for the next election cycle while safely in no position to stop it. Plus these bad laws builds a strong voter effort to ‘throw’ the Dem bums out. Then when we vote the GOPe into the majority, just enough Decepticons switch sides to anti-MAGA so the MAGA legislation fails. We then become angry and sit out the next election handing back control the Dems.
The solution is gut the GOPe to its foundation and put in as many freshman PDJT approved MAGA Representatives as we can, ideally either with no political experience or from State Legislatures with proven voting record that is pro-MAGA. Any MAGA that betrays us is removed two years later via this same process.
The key is to never vote the GOP incumbents back into office again, because they have had multiple opportunities to keep their campaign promises and failed each and every time. They are untrustworthy so NOTHING they say now can be believed, no matter how sincere they sound.
it’s Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown. They are Lucy, we are Charlie Brown. We want to believe but history is screaming at us to wake up and smell the deceit.
I missed the one where charlie Brown accidentally slips and kicks lucy in the head. Oops!
Me too. It would have been game-changing….literally.
But Peanuts was always a peaceful, gentle story line. That’s why we loved watching them with our children and later our grandchildren.
My point is only enough of them fail us ‘when’ they are majority. When in the minority they can fool us. So the question is how do we know true MAGA from Decepticons? I say follow the funding. One cannot serve two masters. This is one reason why I like newly elected MAGA types. As long as we can keep their funding and support groups pro-MAGA they should remain so.
I have learned to keep their history of fooling us as the baseline. Once we have been fooled with serious consequences, such as their denial of election fraud and their subsequent backstabbing of PDJT using the January 6 “insurrection” as their excuse, then we have no further reason to monitor them.
If they actually commit an act of true representation, fine. But having proven unreliable and untrustworthy, IMHO they are done. As in Finished. Kaput. Arrivaderci. Sayonara. I will vote only for a replacement, if voting still has any chance at all of being real.
Whoops I fear I might have flagged you by mistake – Ad Rem please ignore!
Right on Sundance! All they care about is their donor money, the people are in the way.
As Jack Maxey from the Steve Bannon show said recently:
If our Savior Jesus Christ was sold out for 30 pieces of silver, do you think they wouldn’t sell us down the road for a few million?
But Liz Chaney is bringing us flowers. Isn’t that so sweet. Doesn’t that make up for punching us in the face?
Amen.
Very succinct and unarguable (by rational people of reasonable intellect.)
Going forward we must assess every Republican by their words and actions as compared to Cheney and her supporters, or as compared simply to what we the People voted for in the policies and MAGA goals of President Trump. There is very little room to stand in that doesn’t include a majority of one side or the other. Gray is not acceptable.
EXCELLENT post.
It has taken forever to open the eyes of the conservative voting base especially with the media doing its best to suppress any information on who is running the Republican party. It is naturally difficult to accept that you are being betrayed by people who are supposed to be on your side. There is finally, a segment that simply goes with family tradition in political allegiance without any thought.
The professional Republican is a leftist. Some are militantly open about it but most realize they should pretend not to be. Liz Cheney “”complaining”” about Biden’s open borders is a mix. An open Trump hater spouting Trump policy. In fact, Cheney supports Biden’s border policy.
The Republican business model is that you are dumb and uninformed. It has worked for decades. At this moment, it is still a question on if it can’t be sustained. The RINO who lies to your face is still the majority of elected Republicans.
As long as the Truman Capote leader of the House remains, this disconnect will continue. The Republican members of the House must stand up to McCarthy and the GOPe special interests. Move him out and bring in a strong voice for the Trump movement, a Jordan type, and real progress will be made. Until then, this inter-party fight will stop real progress and the GOPe types will continue to control/dominate DC. McCarthy must go. Now!!!!!
The base have made their intentions known to GOPe power structure for well over a decade. The GOPe have no intention to comply for whatever reason. The reasons don’t really matter. We have made our wishes known to the GOP in as plain a fashion as possible. They are willfully ignoring them and in some cases quitting. So be it, the lines are drawn and positions well staked out. They either listens to us or continue their March toward extinction.
Amen SD!!?
Now days it seems people would let them selves be put in chains and lead off to a camp.
Before they would ever do a damn thing.
To many count on these politicians to save us. The same ones that are ummm ******* us…
Glad America split from Britain way back when there was men.
We can take over GOP, along with Trump, by simply donating to his new Save America PAC. I already sent first donation day it opened (day before his CPAC speech) and will send more every month:
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/
If 75 million of us even gave just $10 each, Trump would control $750 million in campaign funding for America First candidates and sweep out the RINOs. We can do this!
Make them sweat. Change to NPA or independent. One can always change back for a primary if needed. If the RNC see their numbers take a deep drop, that will make them sweat. Plus less money. Always the money.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
This is the same as believing the GOP are cowards, or feckless, or weak. It allows you to believe that they have the same underlying beliefs and goals that you but BUT they are just ineffective.
The truth is that they DO NOT have the same values and goals. Rather than admitting that, they say things “we have weak leadership,” “we are afraid f the press,” or “the press will not report what we say so why bother saying it.” All of these statements are designed to make you think they agree with you at heart.
Once you realize there was nothing that frightened the GOP into voting 70% to keep Cheney in place, you understand that their goals are entirely different than ours. Once you understand that, you see the Uniparty.
I wish someone would described to me the source of the fear that caused the GOP house under Ryan to stop voting to repeal Obamacare.
They need us to believe they have the same values and goals so we will send them money and come out to vote. It is an outright lie and they know they are doing it.
Narcissistic, Sadistic, Psychopath seems to be a job requirement for any serving in government.
You forgot Parasitic
Whatever angle one looks at this situation from, we can all be united in making sure the Liz Cheney’s of the world become retired politicians.
And that is why, after moving to North Carolina from Virginia, when asked what my party affiliation was when registering to vote, said “unaffiliated”
I took off the large sunglasses and heavy makeup (revealing my figurative abuse) a few days after January 6th when Republicans began blaming Trump for the faux insurrection. The election–by secret vote (145 to 61) of House Republican congress critters–of Liz Cheney to a leadership position only solidified my resolve.
The Republican Party is dead to me. I might–I stress, might–vote for a Republican if he (or she) is a thoroughly vetted and approved MAGA supporter. However, given PDJT’s sometimes sketchy history on personnel selections, I reserve the right to opt out of MAGA™ approved candidates if I am unconvinced of their sincerity or conviction.
Like ole Maximus has been saying, politics as usual ain’t gonna cut it anymore.
It is our party and Trump’s party, not theirs.
Think Big! And win.
We need to never forget that these politicians are “PUBLIC SERVANTS”. More importantly we need to make sure the public servants never forget who they work for.
Time to take back control!
Cheney is serving up the false dichotomy that the Republicrats wants us to believe: You can have either this (border protection), or, you can have that (open schools). It’s a pacification technique, meant to lull the conservative electorate to sleep.
No, we don’t want “either this, or that,” we want the whole enchilada. We want secure borders. We want open schools. We want all of our constitutional freedoms. We want government representing us. In a word, we want the Uniparty (Democrats and Republicrats) gone.
Great post SD. Rush said something very similar decades ago.
This Tea-Party Hobbit-Jihadist has had enough.
It really is time to replace them all, or we’ll be playing whack-a-mole forever. It’s evident most in DC have assigned roles in the political theater, including personalities in TV and press. You just can’t tell anymore.
Remember it was George Will who stated that the MAGA base ” can join the Republican Party on our terms.” And where is celebrated conservative intellectual now? Voting for Democrats and trying to get other “conservatives” to do the same.
The list goes on.
RNC called me today, that makes 3 times this week they’ve called.
I have told them all 3 times to stop calling me, that I do not support them, that I support PDJT not the RNC.
Today I told them if they call me 2 more times I will hire an attorney to make them stop, after 5 times they will be put on notice to leave me alone!
People want to know how they can help? Do what I do with unwanted calls – keep them talking! Don’t stop them from ringing back, just think how many fewer folks they can call.
Of course it takes a little of your time but it stops them calling and possibly persuading other (uninformed?) people to contribute. The time taken to do this is (part of) your contribution to the cause.
Admittedly, I’m not American and live in France and only get sales calls, but the principle is the same.

Young voters that voted for President Trump are asking me how can they survive the Communist country now that it’s taken a foothold. I tell them to never ever accept Cancel culture. Stand up to it and tell them they are absolutely wrong to deny a person their Free speech rights whether you like or dislike what’s being said. Psyopsed is a word being expressed more and more
They are becoming more and more aware of the traitors in the Republican party and know that there’s nothing perfect about it but they also know the alternative is the end of a free and vibrant life.
As much “learned helplessness” as “wilful blindness”.
Seligman and Learned Helplessness. Fascinating stuff. Explains a lot of the sheeple behavior regarding masks/distancing…
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learned_helplessness
I would have thought the fact that only 2 or 3 (R) Senators spoke up about election fraud would be a wake up call. The Republican party might be salvageable, but not in our lifetimes.
To many people think we can bide our time until 22 or 24 while others think we are going to fix 2020 while they codify the fraud.
Our forefathers told us what needed to be done in times like these. It wasn’t to sit around and hope Donald Trump can or will fix the mess that happened on our watch.
But Americans will wait and do nothing until they are striped of all rights, homeless and eating out of trash cans. Then finally when they have nothing to lose, they will lose it.
Then be honest and say what needs to be said.. We watched a non violent coup happen in real time.. Communist make the voting laws (unconstitutionally) and communist count the votes.. There is only one way to defeat that..
This is from an article dated today from the NYT:
“The Wyoming Senate is set to hold a committee vote on Thursday on legislation that would require runoff contests after a primary election if no candidate wins a majority — a prospect that could doom Ms. Cheney by forcing her into a one-on-one contest with an opponent loyal to former President Donald J. Trump.”
Title of the article: ‘Wyoming lawmakers weigh runoff legislation that could hurt Liz Cheney.’
I don’t want to link to the article.
Hope that happens. It would defeat the splinter strategy.
Why does the State of WY get to dictate what rules the PRIVATE Republican Party of WY has to use to select its candidates?
Maybe the Republicans are the majority and can do it.
Because states get to do that.
Please don’t shoot the messenger, but I’m completely bemused by how the American election system works and the general acceptance of it. Until there is a change of perspective I can’t imagine how you will ever get up to banana republic status.
I’ll try to explain what I mean, and I sincerely hope as a nation you win out, because the rest of the world is sort of depending on you guys.
What do you mean when referring to the “PRIVATE Republican Party of WY”, what is private about it? Please forgive my ignorance of each state having its own different rules for elections, but when you register to vote you can register as any party or not as you wish and you get to vote for who you want to stand against?
In the UK, the person who stands for each party is decided by each party (according to their rules), but only people who “belong” to that party get to vote for that private party representative. They usually pay a yearly subscription for that privilege, and to attend meetings and vote etc. However, nobody can influence who stands for another party unless they “join” that other party as well (assuming they’re allowed to). When they register to vote, they don’t register with a given party/candidate connection. Come election day each candidate/party stands for election and the one who gets the most votes wins.
Other countries work on a proportional basis allocating seats to each party according to the ratio of votes received nationally. This is not my cup of tea as I believe it is very difficult to feel personally represented.
The American system is open to game playing when any individual whether communist through to conservative can register to vote for any party they choose – and can therefore influence the candidate selected for a party they don’t align with. Via people like Mitch, any candidate can be “selected” to stand for any party as long as the will and organisation is in place.
The whole concept of letting everybody/anybody selecting who in a state/county election their preferred candidate may have to run against is borderline insanity in my opinion.
As a career IT person the idea of entrusting votes to computers, which renders the votes invisible is also beyond belief. Votes on paper ballots can be seen, recounted, kept track of and verified manually by relatively unskilled people acting as observers. Good luck with doing that on a computer if somebody else has an interest. Much more difficult to create/disappear votes.
Would you play Blackjack or Craps for high stakes against a computer whether you’ve seen the code or not? Especially when you have no idea who is operating/overseeing the computer.
Voting should take place in person on election DAY followed by the counting – no delays this would reduce any opportunity for irregularities. If you can’t arrange to be available for election day, often with a year’s notice or more, voting is obviously not important to the person involved. Absentee voting should only be allowed in particular circumstances and requested in advance. No advance request – no vote.

This is the bills wording. My state rep sponsored it.
https://www.wyoleg.gov/Legislation/2021/SF0145
Must be nice to live in a place with some sanity
Don’t be so sure. My rep calls it a pink state. The left has run far left radicals here, and my county Marxists just put an AOC in charge of the DC. Our gov could be described as a RINO in good standing.
Many of my fellow citizens are stuck in the 60s where (R) is good, while being oblivious of the progressive creep in the R party. They need to get with it.
We have primary runoffs in Texas if no candidate wins with 50%+1 vote. Ted Cruz was able to take on our then Lt Gov mano-a-mano in a primary runoff for Kay Bailey Hutchinson’s senate seat.
The general assumption is that if an incumbent or a person who is overwhelmingly expected to win cannot hit the necessary 50%+1 vote in a primary, that person is likely to lose in a runoff.
In the 2012 R primary, Ted Cruz received 34.16% of the vote. Lt Gov David Dewhurst received 44.63%. The other 7 candidates split the rest of the vote.
In the runoff, Ted Cruz won 56.82% to Dewhurst’s 43.18%. Basically, Dewhurst polled the same percentage that he did in the regular primary.
Primary elections narrow the field and allow the voters to say, “Not that guy.”
Excellent post. the 50% rule is a great one, because it prevents the splinter strategy that has given us so many RINOS. The moderates/Establishment get behind one candidate who’ll pull 40% – sometimes less. Than they “Flood the zone” with opponents who split the conservative vote. McCain actually got nominated in 2008 running that strategy. They tried it 2016, to help get Yeb! nominated, but Trump came along.
personal ‘loyalty’ is not needed, or appropriate.
“Predictable Honesty”, and ethical representation of constituents is required for non-GOPe candidates.
Simply not being a lying, backstabbing ‘deep state’ weasel would be a big improvement.
