According to Atlanta media former Georgia Senator David Perdue had a phone call with President Trump that did not go well and led to Perdue changing his mind on a run for office after previously filing paperwork to do so. Hopefully this report is accurate, and President Trump is starting to lay the groundwork for MAGA-minded challengers to enter the political world and challenge the establishment republican candidates.
GEORGIA – Former Sen. David Perdue announced Tuesday he will not challenge Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-Ga.) for his seat in the 2022 midterms, reversing course after filing paperwork declaring his candidacy.
In a statement first sent by email to supporters, Perdue (R-Ga.) said that he and his wife, Bonnie, had decided against him re-entering the political arena.
“This is a personal decision, not a political one. I am confident that whoever wins the Republican Primary next year will defeat the Democrat candidate in the General election for this seat and I will do everything I can to make that happen,” the former senator wrote, saying he had come to this decision “after much prayer and reflection.” (read more)

I really don’t think that Washington DC understands the depth and extent of what’s happened out here in America in response to their handling of events on January 6th. Every day, I hear and read visceral rejections of the Republican party. People changing their voter registration from R to “None”. The Republicans party may as well be the walking dead, yet they have no idea. It’s like when one spouse suddenly decides it’s OVER but the other spouse hasn’t really absorbed the reality. I can envision Mitch McConnell and David Purdue saying something like “Let’s go out and get that roast chicken dinner you love so much” while the other spouse has already rented a separate apartment.
Please offer us some examples of what we can do right now. Everyone says this but no once seems to have a plan.

Shop at garage sales and thrift stores.
Turn off the extra lights, when one can safely do so, lower thermostats.
If you invest, Invest in tax free securities. Invest in ‘royalty’ type securities. Do your diligence w/regard to investing.

Become a Republican Precinct Chairman. They have a lot of power and about half the positions are open. Depending on where you live you will welcomed with open arms or blown off but that does not mean you cannot find a way to worm your way in. You can also attend meetings for your local party. Another thing is to start calling your friendly state legislators. Talk to them about what can be done to fix the voting system in your state as well as make laws to mitigate the crazy from DC.
If you watch Warroom Pandemic, they regularly have people on discussing things we can do. They also have live chat so you can ask questions.
Also ignore the negativity on forums, chat rooms and all. Every conservative site is being over loaded with trolls and spies trying to make us feel hopeless and even trying to incite us to violence. I am pretty sure this is a coordinated effort. I see them here as well.

All you have to is get like-minded friends/acquaintances to show up and vote for you. The same person has probably been there forever and never expected anyone to challenge them. It’s a very short meeting, the only purpose being to vote. I beat my county board of supervisor member because he didn’t expect anyone to come to the meeting.

I was really skeptical of David Perdue at first. His appearance shouted out to me he was CoC all the way. The others he primaried said they were conservatives but looked like oozing liberals. It is sad when you have to select who you vote by appearance because you cannot believe a word uttered by any candidate.

Perdue was not the worst of the RINOs to be sure. But he was also not a MAGA fighter. Any sitting GOP house or senate member who didn’t stand up strongly in favor of election integrity should be primaried. That means most of them.
That being said, I am not convinced that we will ever win again at the national level because the GOP establishment just sat back and allowed the Dems to corrupt and steal the voting process.

It was not just the Dems who rigged the elections. Nor was this the first time. Both Ds and Rs have been in on this for several decades now. It takes both parties to usurp election law and then not enforce current law. It takes both parties to lie and convince the sheep that all is good, and it’s only Trump and his dissidents that are the problem.
Why? There is currently only one party with two separate wings- the red wing and the blue wing. One is supposed to be the power side (blue), while the other is the cuddly aww shucks loser (the red side). How do we know? Look at their voting records and the policies they pass- it only ever benefits the DC elite.

Don’t forget the power of unionized bureaucracy. AFSCME (American Federation of State County & Municipal Employees) is the largest unionized constituency under the AFLCIO umbrella. Unionizing the bureaucratic structure (city county state federal) is how they’ve done it. The final move began with JFK’s executive order #10988 in 1962. Hokkoda is correct. Taking over the state legislatures and executive branches, as well as elected judges, needs to be a priority. That doesn’t mean we don’t go after the corrupt politicians in congress at the same time.
We cannot give up and kneel to the falsehood that the election of 2020 was fair and legal. Fixing the rigged election process needs to be rammed down the throats of every legislatures.
The problem is many of the current politicians at all levels are so duplicitous it would be hard to determine who to keep and who to vote out. Most aren’t as obvious as McConnell, whom we are stuck with for 6 more years, or Liz Cheney, This is probably the only time I would agree with the statement “better a hundred innocents be executed than one guilty escape” when it comes to all elected offices. All of them need to be replaced ASAP or we’ll be playing whack-a-mole with Big Club hacks forever.
A tougher road to follow, but possible if you control enough legislatures, is the ultimate tool: a Convention of the States. The USA could fix a lot of the problems with repeal of the 17th Amendment, among many other things.

And if you take those delegates and offer them a free hand with the constitution then their mistakes will last longer than the two to six years we have to live through now. They could do anything at all. Convention of the States is one of the worst ideas floating around, the very worst, the dumbest.

Winston, voting machines are not a federal issue. Your local representatives are more responsive to the people, and they make this decision. The counties make this decision in my state.
It was the circuit clerk and board of supervisors who got rid of our electronic voting machines because people complained.
I would extend the effort down-ballot from the governors to get support for the good governors, rein in the bad ones, and develop a young bench of up and comers.
There is definitely a round of “get your house together, dips**t” meetings that have to happen. I don’t think they will unless we start a new party and take out Republicans all over the country.

Speaking of lightning in Colorado, my daughter was struck by a horizontal bolt that literally came out of the blue at a county fair north of the Springs. Her heart stopped and they airlifted her to the hospital. She’s still with us but it was a harrowing experience. She was lucky; that same day a couple of golfers died when struck near Denver..

We were running the Garden of the Gods loop trail at night when a storm came off Pikes Peak, over Manitou, and into the Garden. We took at shortcut and were running down that long hill that leads back to the parking at Rock Ledge Ranch with lightning striking every few seconds behind us. I could hear the wall of rain on the pavement catching up to us as we dove into the car and the storm hit. That’s where the motto came from…we were in a full-out sprint for 3/4 mile.

Granted it would be best to have BOTH offices controlled by patriotic Americans, but if only one office can be targeted is needs to be the SoS.
RS Gadfly, the SoS is supposed to follow the laws made by the state legislature. We have recently seen this is not always the case. Most states allow for recall.
The Attorney General of the state can also bring civil charges charges against those in violation of state election laws. Of course, in some states they are part of the problem also.
