Wanting to understand more about the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. I started with Clint Hickman, of district. 4. Why was he so resistant to an audit?

Clint Hickman, was an apparent up-and-comer who had won reelection over 16 competitors. Nothing strange here, I thought.
Clint Hickman, a 4th-generation Arizonan from one of the West Valley’s most prominent families and businesses, was appointed to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors March 21, 2013. Hickman was reelected in 2016 for a four-year term. District 4 voters have demanded strong fiscal stewardship starting with Jan Brewer to Max Wilson and now have passed the torch on to Supervisor Hickman.

Clint Hickman is from the family that owns Hickman Valley Farms / Hickman’s Eggs. I think Clint Hickman is or was involved in running the business in some way….I could be wrong about his involvement in the business ..my memory is not very good anymore.

Since when does the House or Senate get to have a secret vote? They work for us, we pay them their salaries, we should know what work they have done for us. Those votes should be released. Is it legal if it is secret?

Then I started to look at the voting machines used in the 2016 election. For the Maricopa County they appeared to use the Dominion machines. Was Clint Hickman the supervisor of district 4 reelected into office over 16 other competitors using one of these machines.
I don’t know, but it seems to raise an important question? Some have suggested that Dominion machines have a questionable record. Have we identified a reason for the apparent resistance for audits in Maricopa County?

This electronic voting and the mess of this election is such a perfect way to hi-jack votes. Would it not be a better plan, to agree to mail-in voting to avoid the electronic vote stealing, and get a bill going to preserve each envelope and ballot at a county location for a years time for individuals to be able to view their own ballots and envelopes ? It seems so bizarre that once we vote, we can never go and verify how our vote was counted. Wouldn’t the best fix be to preserve a hard copy of our vote to individually prove its final result out?
