Uh, no. That’s a poor analogy, historically speaking. They still allow opposing programs, art, publishing and the spoken expression of opposing views in the USA, even if it is sometimes culturally disfavored. Goebbels would just send out goons and have those with opposing views beaten, jailed or killed. Not even close to similar.

the recent deplatforming of various individuals/websites – being blocked on Twitter – the absurd “disclaimers” on Twitter about the election results (whenever any citizen pointed out the frauds) . . . and it is getting worse wherein you go to retweet with a comment on an article from the “Washington Post” for example and it will not allow you to do that.
I realize that some people think that one ought not use Twitter now – but I feel that I want to keep using it for as long as possible, if some beam of light might get through somewhere.
I also use Facebook, mainly keeping in touch with former coworkers and out-of-town relatives.
I also use Amazon to order things as they have proven to be very efficient and reliable plus I have made many digital orders over the years, which has been convenient; also, my Mother and I both use our Kindles every day to read or look up things plus she has her games. I have read many novels and plays on my Kindle.
I don’t know if Jen Psaki herself is actually Goebbels – it really seems to me that our own press has been doing that job very well for a while – they seem to fall quite in line of their own choosing. Of course, Ms. Psaki is now expecting the questions to be submitted and that is surely a bad sign – what is a worse sign is the news media going along with that.
The news media was so horrible to Sarah Huckabee Sanders and I was so proud of her, she demonstrated true poise as did the most recent press secretary for President Trump, Kayleigh McEnany. The press could not abide them but they were perfectly fine with the obnoxious Joe Lockhart (Clinton admin.) or Robert Gibbs (Obama admin.). The press was perfectly fine with Joe Lockhart’s reaction to Paul Sperry “daring” to ask President Clinton any questions. For a really good read, check out Paul Sperry’s “My Picnic with Bill”.

They have used their seat in the UN Security Council to punish countries for doing business with Taiwan. They raise holy hell if the Daila Lama visits anyone.
Our dangers are not only from the Democrats now in power, in the White House and in Congress – it is also from the Republican Party leadership which allowed this to take place – the Democrats could not have done it without the Republican leaders who betrayed President Trump and those of us who voted for him.
The Republicans are acting like they have to “honor” the deals that Nixon started and Bush 41 enabled, with the CCP . . . they are doing the “Goebbels” bit in their own way, not wanting the truth to be out about the election steal.

I think we’re more advanced than 1933. The DOJ, FBI, CIA, and State Department are totally corrupt. The judicial system is two tiered and the Department of Defense is in the process of firing all Trump appointees. The election process is made to order for a dictator.

The next time I hear someone talk about Biden getting the vaccine out I’m probably going to throw up.
My mom found out that she can get the first dose of the vaccine on Sunday.
She was honestly crying, she was so happy about it.

I’m having the same problem with my sister in law who was a lab tech back in the day. She’s gonna get the Pfizer one cause she worked for a doctor who was a spokesman for the company. For a smart lady, she can be dense sometimes.
If she’s past child-bearing age, it’s probably OK to have a mutant mom. Maybe she’ll grow huge and could fight Godzilla in the ocean – like the Gargantuas.
I’m not taking a position on the vaccine, but I have to tell you, if “They” wanted to change your DNA, “They” don’t have to give anyone a shot to do that. Vaccines are expensive and logistically problematic. Much easier to unleash a highly contagious virus to… whatever.
All day, every day, we are all filled with millions (if not billions) of viruses, all busily changing our DNA. It’s what viruses DO and nothing does it better. Plus, there are entire classes of viruses that do their DNA changing thing, but don’t kill the cell and don’t make you sick. If “They” unleashed one of these, you would never know you had it.

Fellow cancer patients I have talked with are CLAMORING to get the vaccine, they can’t wait! I am completely in shock that they would want to add ANOTHER unknown experimental toxic drug into their body, especially one that may screw up an already depressed immune system.
I thought about it, but honestly I haven’t had a political talk with her since the Covington High mess.
She thought Sandman was such a bad kid just for smiling at the guy. The discussion was a disaster.
After that, I realized nothing I say or do will change what she thinks.
There are multiple other examples of her totally accepting what the msm says without proof, and not believing what I say even with proof provided. That was just the straw that broke the back.

Truly frightening regarding the number of people that had severe reactions and deaths. The media exaggerated the numbers of Covid deaths, you can be assured that they will do what they can to suppress the numbers of those harmed by Covid vaccinations.
I feel lucky to be retired and won’t have my employer forcing me to get this shot. There’s $ billions to be made by big Pharma and they will never tell you the truth. I bet people have to sign a waiver before getting this vaccine.

Having been the recipient of my child’s ire–and cut off for my beliefs–I would cut your mom some slack. She is human and makes mistakes just like everyone else. She’s been spoon fed terror for almost a year now. A lot of people consider the vaccine the end of the virus. Unfortunately, this vaccine isn’t like vaccines of old, people can still come down with the virus.
I am the only person at work that refuses to get the vaccine. I had a bad case of the ro in March of last year, so my feelings are mixed on this. I would not want anyone to go thru the hell that I have been thru for the last 10 months (long haulers), so yeah, I understand her relieve at the notion of a vaccine. Just like politics, her health concerns are hers. Your worry for her health is understandable, approach her from that place and she might be much more receptive to your concerns. You might want to find the article about the congressman who had both doses of the vaccine, only to get the virus. Also, if she is a certain age, she is eligible for antibody treatment if she does get sick. Have her talk to her doctor about that.

My brother is an insane leftie. I have found that talking about things that we still have in common is the only way to retain a relationship. He goes off on Trumpers and Christians (tho he supposedly proclaims he is one himself), I just shift the subject to something we both love, which is playing music (we both play the music from our day in public – we grew up playing in bands together on and off), and kind of channel his ire away from the stupidity. I just have to be the adult and pretend not to hear it. We seem to be doing OK just focusing on a common interest. I am not ready to spend any real time with him though because, as I said – He is clinically insane.
fortunately, My Mother is very conservative and raised us right. He has to temper his temper when she is around. Our get togethers are usually brief, but polite. No need to let Politics invade your personal life. You dont have to let that happen, it is a choice.

We talk about cooking, which we all love, extended family, friends and neighbors, jobs, financial situations, girlfriends and fiancé’s, their outings on the ski slopes, tons to talk about. When we start wandering into “forbidden territory,” I say, “STOP, now.” None of us are in doubt about what each other’s views are. It is a choice. We chose each other.
It doesn’t feel any better to have passed on not your beliefs about a virus, but your emphasis on thinking for yourself, and recognizing brainwashing when you see it, to your offspring, only to see them targeted by their peer group.

They are still telling people to go home and see if they get worse, which they knew back in April would be setting some individuals up for a case needing hospitalization.

When my doctor asked me why I didn’t go to hospital, I looked at him and innocently asked what treatment was available in March. Shut him right up.
If it was just this moment, I would have a much easier time of getting over it.
But with her reaction to EVERY (not hyperbole) issue being to assume a worst case scenario is guaranteed to happen, and with her hysteria being continuously ratcheted up these last four years, it is so hard to be understanding right now.

Green tea and Zinc supplements will cure your symptoms but are not a cure. They simply give your body time to develop an immunity to it.
I was doing zinc, green tea and tonic water because I couldn’t get quercetin(sold out). I also was taking three different asthma medicines, D3 and had a prescription of a broad spectrum antibiotic on hand. I think that was the only reason I was able to beat it back. The recovery has been long, but finally on the upswing.
We have friends who have rarely been out of their home since March of last year; haven’t seen their friends, families, etc. They are super excited about receiving their Covid vaccine this week, say they are supposed to wait 10 days, then are hopping on a plane to Hawaii.
We have another friend who goes on an annual January trip to St. Augustine with friends; all staying in their own condos. Her friends cancelled because of Covid. She just got a phone call from them informing her that their trip was back on for this month because they are getting the vaccine. She was welcome to join them (in her separate condo) as long as she had the vaccine too.

Here is my take on the vaccine. Firstly, I do not know enough to state confidently that it will do this or that to our DNA. The fact that information, other than the usual O, its 90 something % effective, bla, bla, bla, but……… doesn’t fill me with confidence. I want to know EVERYTHING, and if I sense ANY “secrecy” or ambiguity, you can stay well away from me. Then, which I believe is the MOST important. If the virus is only deadly (for the most part) to a very specific “group” largely elderly and or with serious comorbidities, and the vac will only provide “additional” defence (not bullet proof) – you can still get and pass on. Then surely one has to ask – if I am under the risk age, reletively healthy, and got Covid, but recovered without problems (99% of us), then WHY the F do I need ANYTHING????
My father died from the flu vaccine in the 70s. He had a complete physical two weeks prior for an insurance exam; not overweight, no health issues.
I’m in my 60’s. If my friends, sisters, parents, want the vaccine it is their choice. But please NO, to my kids who are engaged and want to have a family!!
Same here, I worked 30 yrs as a flight attendant and the last 20 never got sick because my children were older (always caught their colds) , washed hands ,ate right, took vitamins and tried to get 10,000 steps in everyday. People need to take responsibility for their health as much as they can.
Has anyone stopped to think of the obvious? A 99% survival rate IF you catch the virus. Vaccines shouldn’t even be discussed among the general population, and only by specialists for those at risk.

I also know someone who insists the coronavirus is very dangerous, because he knows a woman who had to stay home from work for two weeks because her kid had the sniffles at school, or something.

It seemed clear. If that’s correct then anyone who discovered that would be extremely disheartened by that revelation. One other thing..Sundance presents the evidence and then I believe he wants us to draw our own conclusions. We all get educated in the process together. What would have been President Trump’s options had the Senate refused to approve of any of his nominations to fill positions in his administration? Could he have kept filling positions on a temporary basis?

Not only that but the position of party floor leaders in Congress did not even exist back in the Founding Father days.
The first floor leaders in Congress were formally designated in 1920 (Democrats) and 1925 (Republicans).

The bigger issue was that the Senate did not approve hundreds of undersecretaries, assistant secretaries, etc. Trump never had any of his people in the agencies. Even if you get your Secretary, if you are missing the thousands of appointed staff – nothing you want will get done.

Whenever someone proposes a new bill, I would like a reporter to ask, “Who wrote this? Who gave this to you? Who paid for this bill to be written?”
Instead, everyone pretends that these bills are written by the elected “representatives.”
It ought to be the first question anyone asks about a new bill.
Who wrote it?
Identify the special interest lobbyist that wrote the bill. And match that lobbyist to the campaign donations given to the “elected representative” (selected con man).
Now . . . we know that sometimes the NRA writes gun rights bills and gets them passed. When that happens, I cheer. But I only know about this because the NRA tells people that it writes these bills and pressures for their passage.
And we know that sometimes the health insurers write laws (Obamacare) and get them passed. But we know this because of whom the law benefits.
And we know that private prison contractors write crime bills to increase the need for prison construction. This is also obvious.
But I want to know who wrote the bill more particularly. For example, I would like to know WHICH health insurance companies hired the law firm to write the Obamacare bill that was delivered to the lobbyist to deliver to the selected “representative.”

Now we have a bill in Florida championed by its governor, DeSantis. It addresses free speech on social media. It will allow Floridians to sue big tech for censorship in certain situations.
This sounds like a very good bill to me. But I still want to know: “Who wrote this bill?”

OAN ain’t all it’s cracked up to be, either. Their young anchors and reporters are liberals. I read an article and the person from OAN being interviewed admitted it. They still report what their teleprompters say, but they gripe about it amongst each other when they go to the bar after work. But go ahead and watch and see for yourself. I suspected it and that caused me to go out and do a search on one of the night time anchors and that is when I found the article. Sure enough the anchor I suspected is an admitted liberal. They take the job at OAN as a stepping stone.
That is disappointing. I can’t find that post, but it is sad that they can’t find any American patriots to work there. This is a result of our education system.
