We should not be pushing the Q crowd away. We should welcome them, and understand them. We share something like 90%+ of political views with the Q crowd. Lastly, we need them as much as they need us. There was an excellent article in yesterday’s zerohedge which dealt with the implications of greater EV (electric vehicle) use on our environment. Not only does the manufacturing of batteries for these EVs require a significant amount of carbon emissions, but the fact that EV cars are heavier than their gas counterparts causes the life span of tires for these “green cars” to be around 20,000 miles.

I’m tutoring a former high school honor roll student who failed every class last quarter. He is home alone all day because his parents have to work to pay their bills. He has really just thrown in the towel and decided he can waste a year sitting in front of a computer screen learning nothing. What is he really learning this year? It’s ok to fail? You don’t have to work hard? What a waste. It would be better for him to be outside all day in the woods, than rotting in front of a computer. How many more kids like this are out there?
I’ve been impressed with the handful of parents I know locally who pulled their kids out of the system and formed homeschool learning pods. I know of a couple of parents who are working with the system, but who formed a group so their kids are together in one room during the school day, each working independently on his/her computer, with one parent monitoring the group. Not everyone can do this, but it’s an idea.
In a jury trial, any potential juror who stated that he already had an opinion on the case would be struck from the jury panel.

If the Senate is going to hear an Impeachment charge against PRESIDENT Donald J. Trump, then no one should be allowed to have a vote if they have A) Already stated an opinion as to his guilt, or B) Failed to attend virtually every minute of the impeachment trial.
This Rule would force them to all finally hear ALL of the evidence in defense, including, but not limited to, the many days worth’ of testimony and videos and affidavits of those who witnessed or were literally themselves a part of the election fraud. No longer could they avoid the evidence; no longer could they say “There was no evidence of election fraud.” (Unless of course they wanted to prove themselves liars.)
This is NOT a court of law but a legislative action governed by rules set by the Senate. Stating opinions before hand is considered “normal” for a legislative action as long as the “Senate Rules” do not prohibit these statements.
That was the Civics lesson from the 1st Impeachment, all here on CTH should have learned. Common courtesy, fairness and right have zero to do with Congressional Actions.

Agreed on that note but a bigger tell on where the Senate trial may go is that the Senate Vote on RULES was 83-17, with 33 Republicans supporting the RULES of the Senate Hearing. That vote should have been 55-45 as it was with the Rand Paul motion.

We need to see the actual Senate Rules for the hearing, which 33 Republicans approved.
Those Rules can state the Senate Trial is no more than a reading of charges and move straight to the Floor Vote. Nice and clean with no embarrassing record of witnesses and discussion. Gee just like the Shanghai Mitch lead impeachment last time.

Called my local Representatives office yesterday to share a few thoughts. One topic I brought up was the nonsense with the transgender (anatomically correct) males allowed to run roughshod over women as a whole (bathrooms, sports, scholarships, etc. etc,). My expectation was that my representative would find a group to work with and take this to the supreme court. The staffer said ‘oh because the Dems have the majority we just can’t do anything.’ My response was ‘BS – 51% of the country is female (I think a court can find standing), he can find one or several groups to work with to bring this to the courts. I’m not buying what you’re trying to sell.’
Don’t let your congress critters get away with this ‘we can’t do anything’ program.

Ausonious, I’m an Australian/Canadian dual national currently living in Canada. To say that I am beyond shocked at what has been going on in my homeland is an understatement. For me personally, the idea of being unable to travel freely between these 2 countries for the foreseeable future is unbelievable. I’m facing a difficult decision about which country I should be in because I don’t think we will EVER get back to free global travel. I am one of many, many ex-pats around the world who are in limbo.
The Australia I grew up in was not like this. Aussies were known to have a deep mistrust of authority and were keen individualists. That appears to have changed. Like all Western countries it has been beaten into submission by the UN and other global entities that don’t give a rat’s derriere about the country. Meanwhile the people have been subdued with endless, meaningless consumerism and entertainment.

I am no stock trader, but it is a really interesting response by the masses. Think about it, Wall Street has had connections and the advantage in knowledge for decades. However, with democratization of the patforms and decreases in barriers to entry, individual investors are able to with communication platforms use the rules against Wall Street to deliver a broadside. And it is decentralized and organic. Very intriguing.
