This truck driver has passed through the Laredo border control check point with their dogs on I 35 many times. They have never X-rayed my rig there though I have had it X-Rayed several times when crossing into the US from Canada,
Along I-35 on the way in they take your picture on the way out you stop at the check station. Paralleling the Interstate is a RR track where I have seen trains stopped many times to be checked out. They have little towers along that track for the agents to climb up on to observe the tops. Any trailer I pull out of Laredo is sealed.

My guess is that Border Patrol uses thermal imaging from the ground or air to catch many of the trucks hiding illegals. Perhaps there are other methods of detection as well.

The last time I was in Arizona it snowed. The news people went gaga.

Politico published the story the day before the inauguration of the gentleman from Madame Tussauds as president.
The story purports to cover Biden’s then forthcoming inaugural address, but is more notable for this tardy detail reflecting the gentleman’s declining mental capacity:

This leak appears to come from somewhere within the Biden camp. In days to come these leaks will come from sources on the distaff side of the Harris/Biden administration.

If you don’t believe that a bunch of disparate, ordinary people can take down the ‘big guys’ you might want to check out the story of a Reddit forum and Gamestop stock. It seems that a couple of million of reddit folks have been buying up Gamestop stock (which has been heavily shorted by hedge funds) pushing the price way, way up and causing a short squeeze. One hedge fund has already lost considerable $$ and if the “redditors” can keep the price up until Friday hedge fund options will close and they will be forced to buy shares at a highly inflated price. This will make the redditors very rich and the hedge fund will collapse. And a few ‘masters of the universe’ will have their butts handed to them. Most entertaining!
Thanks for this post. I had heard a brief blurb on the radio yesterday about this stock rising to crazy highs and was wondering what the story was.
It just goes to prove what I have said before, that we the people still have the power as consumers to bring down the bad guys if we are smart, unified, have a focused goal and work together. Bingo for example number one, Gamestop Stock. A bit manipulative for sure and shows the flaws of the market and what can happen, but still a delightful way to start my day.
Exactly….I just logged into my trading account and see that at least one online broker has stopped allowing trades on GME and also another stock AMC which Elon Musk said last night was a good one – it’s up over 200% today.
I don’t mean to make this about stock trading, but there ARE some major flaws in the market set up (the whole derivative market for one) and it’s usually the retail investors that get shafted by the hedge funds. Those guys manipulate stocks to their own ends constantly, making it very difficult for regular traders. I don’t really know what the motivation is for the Reddit gang but kudos to them for finding a way to beat those guys at their own game.
Of course the big end of town will punch back….the trading platforms covering themselves is probably the start. Will be interesting to see where this goes.
But the people have lots of power if they work together. The overlords know this of course…..why else would they be so focused on shutting us up. ?

The newly declassified FBI memos also contain many other revelations. For instance, McCabe’s testimony to Congress that Rosenstein offered to surreptitiously record Trump is supported by his contemporaneous May 16, 2017 memo.
“As our conversation continued, the DAG proposed that he could potentially wear a recording device into the Oval Office to collect additional evidence on the president’s true intentions,” McCabe wrote. “He said he thought this might be possible because he was not searched when he entered the White House. I told him that I would discuss the opportunity with my investigative team and get back to him.”
This lax security protocol by the Secret Service is a national security risk because Rosenstein became overly confident about the possibility of secretly wiretapping President Trump since the Secret Service did not bother to search his body before letting him enter the White House.

We finally have evidence that both the DOJ and intelligence agencies like the FBI speak to each other in coded languages.

Here is another story…a young man who is a mobile hospital testing tech told me that when a worker calls in not feeling well the hospital administrators make them come in without a rapid test result…they cant simply take off work…..that person then infects thise around them…this time over 7 other staff members including him got covid from that worker…dont even want to think about the patient risk…..i told him my husbands company requests they get a rapid test before returning…his company also brings in testers free of charge for anyone exposed to that person…

Yes, I posted about this just above. I agree – I think this is going to turn into something quite big because they are targeting other stocks as well. And now at least one online broker (Ameritrade) has announced they are preventing trade on GME (and I think also AMC). This opens them up to some major potential law suits. I guess they don’t want to get caught holding the bag with margin calls should the hedge funds go under.
Frankly, as a strategy by the “peasants” I think this is utterly brilliant. Anyone who trades, knows just how much the funds manipulate the market – particularly by shorting stocks and driving prices down. I LOVE the fact that these people are using legal tools to turn it around onto the hedge funds. I’m not sure how the big end of town can possibly stop it although I’m sure they’ll try everything.

In addition to the money and resources necessary to produce new vehicles, now we’ll need to install charging stations everywhere.
And what will happen to all the old vehicles? Will they be declared “clunkers” and recycled/trashed? I, personally, believe in taking care of the things we have and using them to the end of their useful life. Thus, our family has two vehicles deemed classic/historic in my state, ie over 20 years old. I like my old, mechanical odometer.

We hear about coal mines and mountain top removal–hence, the mantra electricity from coal = bad–but have they ever seen the huge mining operations that provide us with aluminum, iron, molybdenum, copper, nickel, etc.? It makes you think twice about buying something you don’t need.
