The “Walk Away” movement was an organization of voices of former Democrats who turned away from the extreme leftist moves by the democrat party. The group was supportive of President Trump and the populist ‘America First’ message.
This move comes after Joe Biden called President Trump supporters “domestic terrorists” and announced his administration’s intent to target those voices as members of an insurrection against his administration. An alarming move to a totalitarian state where dissenting voices must be silenced and removed.

Additionally, there is currently a massive “pro-Trump” purge happening on Twitter. They even banned Tech Fog, a CTH friend who was never controversial, always careful, and only posted court documents highlighting legal cases involving corruption.
Axios– Reddit has banned the subreddit group “r/DonaldTrump,” a spokesperson confirmed to Axios.
Why it matters: While not an official group or page hosted by the president, it’s one of the company’s largest political communities dedicated to support for President Trump.
What they’re saying: “Reddit’s site-wide policies prohibit content that promotes hate, or encourages, glorifies, incites, or calls for violence against groups of people or individuals. In accordance with this, we have been proactively reaching out to moderators to remind them of our policies and to offer support or resources as needed,” a spokesperson tells Axios.

In the aftermath of CTH being deplatformed we received many notifications of support and shocked messages from inside the tech industry. In recent days those same voices have signaled that CTH was likely a coordinated first-strike that previewed this post election wave to shut down voices of dissent.

I was just reading on Gateway Pundit that President Trump joined Parler and now the Parler servers are overwhelmed with all the new accounts signing up.
So it could be the server overload, not necessarily an attack. Although an attack is always possible, too.
I was of the same thought. I blamed my iPhone upstream. Hope Parler appreciates all the new MAGA subscribers! If not, they can spend a snit ton of moolah on new servers to keep up, and then we’ll just leave them in the dust also! 😉

Ok – so I have reconsidered removing my Facebook accts. Yes I have 2. Personal and business. I also have Instagram accts for both. I use insta 98% of the time. Am rarely on FB.
But – I have many memories on FB. I mostly keep my account there because I can revisit my late mother’s comments on things. It’s memories, you know? How do I wipe that out? Is there any way to archive it or download it or save anything from my personal page??

Might reconsider, and use DuckDuckGo for a search engine. Have used it for years with no problems and good security.
I did the same several weeks ago, but I recommend adding DuckDuckGo as your default search engine on Firefox. Supposedly, it greatly reduces or eliminates tracking of your searches.
I think their servers are overloaded. I was on earlier and now cannot get links to open. I know they have posted several times that the increase in traffic to due to recent deplatforming has really stretched their capacity. I also cannot get on GAB tonight. Then Bongino announced today that he will be off Twitter at the end of his 12 hour suspension, at which point he will have a final post. I’m sure a lot of the Parler problems have to do with that. He has about 3 million followers. I don’t think the new platforms had any idea this was going to happen.
Parler needs to get their technical act together. I have always found it problematic.

Conservative Twitter accounts are being suspended even as I type. Some are pretty unknown, but have an active conservative following.
I don’t have any social media accounts, but check in on some daily. Have bookmarked the Parler accounts of those I “follow,” and web pages of those who apparently don’t have Parler or Gab presence yet.
Suggest everyone find alternative methods of keeping up with people or news sites. Anyone may be deplatformed at any moment.
I am not an alarmist by nature, but this feels realy bad. They are doing everything they can to isolate all conservative thought. And at warp speed!

I find that GAB is the best platform and the CEO Andrew Torba is also a Christian who understands the first amendment. Free speech is paramount and he understands this. It is my understanding that you have to submit your drivers license to parler and they also data mine you and GAB does not.
We can create our own platforms but we must fund these companies that are trying to grow. GAB has already been deplatformed by many processors but they are still growing really fast.
