These safeguards were non-existent in this election and they’ll try hard to keep the loose guidelines in place. They make it so incredibly easy to cheat.
2. Fighting back against assholes that will now use their power of the government, media, and corporatocracy to punish those who spoke out. Just watch. That will be happening. On the one hand, I feel like giving up. On the other hand, I simply cannot quit fighting for my country as long as I’m breathing. We are the last bastion of freedom.
Mr. Trump, incorporate the Freedom Party (or whatever) and concentrate on electing new Secretary of State for each State first and foremost. This will take years, yes, but necessary.

I already did it in 1957, when I willingly joined the Army right out of HS. I was one of the lucky ones, and was kept stateside. But while in the reserves, we were on Alert a couple of times for VN, but never called to go. Knowing what I know now, I would probably go off to Canada, like so many others did. He no doubt didn’t want to give that speech, and it was probably written for him; it doesn’t quite sound like his voice, nor that his heart was really in it. It’s nothing like what we’d typically hear an outgoing president deliver as a farewell address, but Trump’s no typical president anyway.
I genuinely wonder if that’s it. If we’ll hear from him again before the 20th. Perhaps he cut a deal with someone; I’ll go quietly now, if impeachment stays off the table and/or my family is left alone. I wouldn’t blame him if he did.

What you see above, in that video, is Trump’s way of conceding. He won’t name Biden. He won’t use the word “concede.” But that’s what he’s done. He’s conceded. It’s over. It’s finished. There’s nothing left that he can do, other than gather up what little that Washington is going to leave him and depart with some semblance of grace.

Time to imagine what almost was, and to realize how corrupt and unscrupulous the ‘leaders’ of America are and likely have been for a few decades now. I don’t think there are too many other countries that can claim higher ground the we, certainly not our greatest adversaries, China, Russia, Iran, and on. Much of our disarray has been self inflicted and must be self corrected. Our enemies within are our worst adversaries.
He sacrificed everything to save the free world. The least we could do is repay the favor. We need more heroes and more patriots willing to give their all to the cause.
I remember earlier this year when a relative was joking about the second of two recent resignations in Peru.
I thought to myself, you know what the sign of a healthy political system is? Being able to hold public officials accountable for their behavior, and force them from office.
Now perhaps two resignations in a matter of months is instability, but how is that more dangerous than having the same person hold the same office for 30 or 40 years, or in the case of the Dingells, having the same family hold a seat for over 80 years?
I’d take instability over ossification any day of the week.

The fraud in the 2020 election was a poison pill. Accept the fraud and let Biden assume office, or overturn it and set the precedent of “subverting” the electoral process. Once the media “declared” Biden the winner, President Trump was placed in an extremely difficult position in which any option he pursued, regardless of success, would place the onus of “undermining democracy” on him instead of where it actually belonged.
This was unjust, extremely dangerous, and irreparably damaging to bedrock of the American political system. But it happened. All of us have to recognize that fact, even if we do not like it, and prepare for whatever comes next. Because whatever next turns out to be will not be pleasant.
Prepare accordingly.

I love President Trump. He is very strong.
His words reminded me of Jesus rebuking Peter during Jesus’s arrest when Peter cut off the ear of one of those arresting Jesus. Trump loves all Americans. I believe that. Maybe he is taking what he feels is the Jesus approach.
I think his words were directed more towards the instigators. In any case, like all of us I feel blessed to have him as our president and will continue with prayers of gratitude and prayers for his and our safety.
Rand Paul said the election integrity stuff isn’t repairable at the Fed level, but at the state level. I’m inclined to think he has something there. Our war needs to be at our state level. Isn’t the rights (and responsibilities) of each state a bigger deal in elections than what Congress can do? Help me understand.
