While I have a history of being a part of trying to supplant the GOP with a conservative alternative (Buchanan Reform Party in 2000), to say it’s an uphill climb is a vast understatement.

The question for the new party idea is: If you can’t mount successful primary challanges now against the RINO types, how will you prevail in a general election? You’re going to have to set a track record of success in some capacity before the needed mass of voters will get on board.

It seems like time to repost a comment from five years ago.

You’ve spent your life watching the game. You learned early on that it was chess not checkers, and at one time tried to follow the three dimensional game, with multiple stacked boards and pieces moving between them. During flashes of insight you even caught glimpses of the four dimensional game, the Long Game: stacked boards, but with pieces disappearing altogether and then reappearing on a different board later. But the Long Game is difficult to keep in focus and, honestly, can be more than a little scary, so at some point you stopped trying to see it. You also put aside the three dimensional game and focused your attention on a single board. But then an odd thing happened. You noticed the pieces often didn’t move the way they should.

The white pieces sometimes didn’t move the way the player played them, and neither did the black. They seemed to move on their own. That is when you realized that there is a third player at the board, unseen, moving both black and white pieces. And with that realization you noticed that the white queen isn’t white at all. She’s purple. So is the black king, and three of the bishops, and two of the rooks. All purple, and all being moved about by the hand of the unseen player.

But even that didn’t fully account for it, because that purple rook shouldn’t be able to jump, and that bishop isn’t supposed to move sideways. And that is when, in a moment of clarity, you saw. All of the purple pieces are mere pawns, and the unseen player who moves them follows no rules. He is playing the Long Game, and he is playing it against you. No one is just a spectator.

Then along came Trump. He kicked over the boards and scattered the pieces, which scurried to their players, revealing their real masters.

There is a third player at the table, an organization, formal or informal, that transcends agencies and departments and countries and governments. And when a piece doesn’t move in accordance with its color and identity, pay attention, because you have identified its true allegiance.

Prepare, a powerful word.

Prepare for what? a shooting war? protesting and marching? civil disobedience? being back stabbed and sold out by shyster opportunist? a glorious second Trump term? defending my home from marauding marxist? economic disruption from the left if President wins this? Economic disruption if biden wins? Strikes? Leaving the political party system (I did this years ago), space aliens? A Cascadia earthquake? a bad winter? a massive forest fire (this happened last September)?

I was once sucked into the rabbit hole of being a prepper I didn’t care for where my mind was going and so I switched gears to learning homesteading skills, being self-reliant and worked at becoming debt free. I will not get sucked back into the rabbit hole of doom prepping.

For me, being prepared is not a light switch. It’s a part of your DNA, your life style, your up bringing.

I’ve done a number of things around my property to prepare for lean retirement years, I’ve planted fruit and nut trees, put in gardens, backup off grid solar power, a secondary clean water source, chicken, duck and turkey coops, I’ve planted medicinal herbs and have learned how to process and use what I’ve planted. I explore our local national forest, hike and bow hunt in them, I know how to land navigate using a map and compass, start a fire without matches, build an emergency shelter, trap small game, I keep fit, don’t smoke, don’t drink, I don’t use drugs and fortunately I’m not on meds. I keep my rigs in good running order and I do most of the work myself. I manage my own IRA, I buy and sell stocks, I have a good job but I also earn side monies playing my guitar and selling items that I make by hammer and forge. I know and like my neighbors. My sons understand that they can come here if things fall apart. I have a good food and fuel supply. I try to keep informed of what’s going on locally, regionally and nationally.

What else am I suppose to do to prepare?

“It’s too hard, I can’t do it”. Really, are you the descendants of the “Greatest Generation” and their predecessors or not. Sack up, and “let’s roll”.

People in this age want gratification. Culture wars take time.

In light of all the activities/actions of the left, the establishment, the globalists, the progressives, etc., have done/are doing to reverse all that D.J. Trump has accomplished in less than four years can you guess which of the lessons learned (see below) were first presented to the public in 1989 (after serving 26 years as a soldier and in my third year as an American community’s police chief) and which have been drafted since Donald Trump became President?

A Soldier/Cop’s Lessons Learned (LL)

*Soldiers (at least ground combat soldiers that is) do not fight first and foremost for their country, the flag, motherhood, the girl back home, nor apple pie. Note: In all the years since WWII military personnel have been committed in only two overseas military operations with the primary objectives being to protect the American people. Before all else, soldiers engaged in ground combat fight for their fellow soldiers and their unit.

*Commencing with the onset of WWII the primary force/interest driving all (save two, see LL above) military strategies/tactics/procurements/policies have been those of the so-called military/industrial complex.

*The Seven C’s of Leadership according to a survey of 1646 Vietnam era ground combat veterans listed of the order of their importance are; Candor, Competence, Consistency, Commitment, Courage, Compassion, and Courtesy. The reason the soldiers in the survey chose the word “candor” is because candor encompasses both omission and co-mission. To a combat soldier lack of absolute candor, be it co-mission or omission, are equal sins! In short, soldiers expect/demand absolute candor from their leaders before all else. Note: I regret that I can not disclose the action many soldiers took when their leaders were less than candid with them! Note: I have observed during my career in government service that democrats are masters of co-mission while republicans are masters of omission!

*The American people are the most effectively lied to people in modern times thanks primarily to the American political class, the American bureaucracy, the American media, and American academia.

*Arrogance coupled with ignorance equals stupidity.

*The greatest threats to the American people are the corrupt and/or incompetent politicians/bureaucrats/academicians found at every level of government/academia, and the majority of the American so-called media.

*Most of the politicians/bureaucrats/academicians/media types I have encountered during my years as a soldier/cop I most kindly refer to as; self-serving, witless, cowards.

*The American Profession of Arms and our brothers/sisters in blue have failed to protect the American people from all of their enemies, both foreign and ‘most especially’ domestic.

*There are only two primary requirements to be a career soldier and/or cop in America. One must be smart enough to do the work and dumb enough to take the job.

*American soldiers and police officers must in addition to mastering all of their professionally mandated tasks learn to accomplish the same with at least one arm tied behind their backs and their vision impaired 50% or more.

*After carefully watching the whole of the political class for many years I can say without reservation that most of the group will sell their souls and our bodies just to remain in power.

*Want to see what the United States of America will look like if the left takes control of the government? Take your pick, New York City, Baltimore, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, or the complete packages; California, New York, Illinois, etc, etc, etc…..

*If the so-called progressive/resistance movement continues unchecked a number of able veterans/soldiers/cops are going to be presented with a challenge/decision. Are the American people worth another drop of our sweat, much less our blood?

*I woke up after many years as a soldier/cop to come to realize that I had more respect for those I have killed and/or jailed than I do for most American politicians,bureaucrats, academicians, and media types. I referred to most American politicians as self-serving, witless, cowardly, pissants until I retired to the deep woods and came to know that pissants are neither self-serving nor witless, and certainly not cowards!

Closing:

The truth is that none of the lessons learned presented above were penned after D.J. Trump arrived on the American political stage. However, several were modified/updated in light of recent events/activities. In closing, I must admit that several lessons learned were dropped from the 1989 submission in that my oath of office as both a soldier and a cop charged me to serve and protect my fellow Americans, not to aggravate and/or scare the hell out of them!

Nuts and bolts count. A couple of ideas:

1. Start gathering lists of good people for a ground structure. No kooks or anti-flouridation wombats and, perhaps above all, no (or very, very, very few) crossover apparatchiks from the GOP. Yes, you can say they are cutting themselves off from the GOP by joining the America’s second party (“America’s Other Party” is not a bad tagline for swank), but to me that’s too close to the same thinking that put Jeffy in the AG’s slot.

2. Needs a statement of principles, to distinguish it from a simply personality-based movement. Preferably one worked out at some sort of Log Cabin assembly. To me, Robert Menzies’ speech “The Forgotten People” is a good guide.

3. Needs to look and act, and be a party. Said it twice I guess.

I like the lion logo. Cue Rick Wilson and his cousin’s Bible-class cribnotes whining about “ravening lion,” flies, and whatever other fauna. But still I like it. Maybe because the idea of Rick Wilson doing another round of Theology and Exegesis on CNN brings out my inner snark.

This is what SD means when he says “prepare”, nothing more or less – he’s not talking about some impending apocalyptic doomsday.

Ask yourself: why don’t people donate to “3rd party candidates”? Very simple: it’s not a matter of people not agreeing with them, but always a matter of practicality – “I agree with them, but if I donate, I know it’s probably a total waste of money.”

Why don’t conservatives boycott? Why don’t they en masse say “to hell with big corporations, I will patronize local shops – on top of that, hell, I’ll talk to the owners and ask outright if they support the President or they support BLM and patronize accordingly”? Again, because they believe it’s a waste of effort/few extra bucks.

The Uniparty thrives off of this reality.

This reality is precisely what President Trump, if he is betrayed by the GOP, would lay waste to.

Behind President Trump, we would no longer have these doubts. We would be effective beyond multinational corporations’ worst nightmare.

Maybe a day or so ago, Supreme Court Judge Alito has agreed to hear my PA Representative’s case re the violations of Act 77 this coming week.
I sent Representative Kelly a thank you note tonight. Had to. He is “merely” asking the Supreme Court to uphold the established PA laws when it comes to VOTING.

I am not worried about the outcome of this election at all. Trump said in 2016 that he was thinking of making a “big play” for California. Now he’s doing it. Bercera, Newsom, Garcetti, Pelosi, Waters – he will sweep them into the ditch when this fraud is exposed.

One outcome of a new Trump “America First” Party following Sundance’s line of thinking would be a dramatic loss in Republican political/campaign contributions. Now that the base is aware, it’s only a matter of Trump pulling the trigger. Once a true opposition party materializes, there won’t be any more “cash for cowards” to be had and rich donors are not likely to back losers who now serve no purpose as democrat opposition (not that they ever really did) and are despised by those who were their only voters. Money makes the political world go round and Trump knows this. Even if he stops the steal and serves another term, I’d still like to see him go forward with this idea. It could go a long way towards ensuring his political legacy.

The cause of Donald J. Trump is the proximate cause before us, at this time. He is our choice, and apparently our choice is unacceptable to many within the establishment. No matter whether he is given credit for his victory or not in the coming days, we should be thinking about what is left to us to bend the government to the will of the electorate.

Direct action will not be perceived as legitimate, so I don’t think that is a viable option (yet).

What is viable it local activism. I’m not talking about protests, I’m talking about people networking within their neighborhoods and communities to talk about these things, locally. That has always been the driving force behind the constitution, behind the western ideology of Republican consent. Get out there and get involved with your local version of the VFW, or the American Legion, the Elks, whatever there is near you.

The only way this gets fixed is for individuals to speak truth into the face of this current chaotic potential. We know this is true. It’s been part of us for thousands of years. It is part of our genetic makeup. Get out there, and get involved, personally. Shake hands, build relationships, and make a difference. That sacrifice and willingness to right wrongs is what distinguishes us as a nation. Sustain it.

I mean, the uniparty only needs to run one candidate, not two, in order to retain power. Paul Ryan became useless to the uniparty so he gracefully ended his run in politics and has retired into luxury. Same with Jeff Flake, Mittens etc. And sometimes it’s their DEM counterparts that bow out so a member of the GOP can attain a political office for a decade or five. It’s rather transparent.

Uniparty war chest + compromised elections = MAGA would be the ‘controlled opposition’ and the same players would go on winning as usual. Might just be more favorable to DEMs affiliates of the uniparty because MAGA isn’t supporting GOP affiliates anymore.

I still prefer we *take* control of the existing R party, its apparatus, systems, voter records databases, etc., instead of trying to “re-invent the wheel” and try to build a new party from the ground up, a monumental task. I have a question that maybe someone can answer and if it’s been asked/answered I apologize – I missed it.

When the fraud is finally proven and the election restored to President Trump, can he name the DNC as a player in the fraud and act accordingly, per his 2018 EO, specifically:

“directly or indirectly engaged in, sponsored, concealed, or otherwise been complicit in foreign interference in a United States election.” This includes, “to have materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of, any activity” related to the election theft.

While my spouse and I (seniors) felt we were fairly well prepared for an emergency that might require staying on the home front for a few weeks or so, because of a tornado, ice storm, some other event that would not allow us to ‘just run to the store’ (COV)… Reality just dropped a MOAB on us with this Election Fraud, and now my head is swimming. We may be better off than many city dwellers and urban folk, BUT, we are in no way comfortably ready for what Appears to Be Lurking Just Around the Corner! The roller coaster of emotions is at times, overwhelming. We will do what we can to fight against the evil before us, and that which surrounds us. A reminder to all of you speculating about things here.
The uniparty has no (zero) respect for human life. No respect for your freedom, your children’s freedom or their children’s freedom.
