We have a rather unique situation here… The digital U-Haul is loaded after our eviction from WordPress/Automattic for violations of community ‘wrong think’ and questioning narratives against the interests of Big Tech. After a decade on the platform we are sweeping up the porch and saying farewell to the WordPress community.
The CTH family is disappointed at the business position of Automattic, but we are also excited about the new home we have created. CTH 2.0 is going to be awesome, liberating and even better. We are so blessed and fortunate beyond my wildest imaginings.
Right now we are patching the holes in the walls and running the vacuum while our long-time friends stop by to express their anger about our eviction. Simultaneously, those who moved away to the big city are coming back to visit and express their support.
I cannot go into details, mostly because I haven’t yet decided whether to accept a proposal for a grand exit – or stick to our customary & understated simple wave farewell, but the big city folks want to use this eviction as a warning of sorts.
Apparently, the youthful rebellious spirit within those who sold-out to mega-media conglomerates and bright lights has been triggered. A spirit we at CTH retain.
Out there in the land of the MSM right now there is a group of ‘journalists’ ideologically reminiscing for a time when the counter-culture was fighting for the truth; damn the consequences and without care for wounded feelings, delicate sensibilities or financial livelihoods. They reflect on a spirit we have retained and protected within our CTH community. A spirit we will never stop safe-guarding from enticement and compromise.
We are rag-tag misfits, we are proud of it, and -if needed- we clean up well.
We are a crew more comfy eating pizza from box on a tailgate than trying to fit in with a new media outlook of highfalutin’ big technocrats. We are, quite simply, the rebel alliance.

I found CTH via some comment somewhere…can’t remember where, and amazingly discovered “The Last Refuge”. Indeed it felt like that…the last place to reside where there were conservatives who were thoughtful, intelligent, dedicated to America and our Constitution. Whomever Sundance is, and this organization, they do amazingly deep research and analysis. Then fellow treepers follow up with their own input, analysis, and additional info.
We’re not a group of whackos.

I found CTH through the Lucianne.com site, others shared the CTH articles there and I found the headline and paragraph blurb interesting enough to open the article. Timeframe unknown, when did these articles first begin appearing on Lucianne.com? Shortly thereafter I found CTH…
Then I noticed I hadn’t seen anything from CTH recently so I began going directly to CTH. Shortly thereafter it became a habit. Now CTH is my first and last site to check everyday.
Interesting and informative articles brought me here and it’s what has made this site a mainstay for me. Post election, most days this is the only site I visit.
Excellent, well laid out research and in-depth journalism plus the commentary is what I want and this place suits me well and a lot of the commentary is just as thought provoking as the main article. There are times I’ll read the article two or three times and still have some issues grasping the subject/concept. Then while reading through the comments the light comes on and the meaning takes hold and I get it.
Some of the commenters are as insiteful as the article itself… I’m truly grateful for regulars who contribute in the commentary, really this is what makes CTH, CTH!

As I recall, I came to the Treehouse by way of a posting on Lucienne.com, several years ago, and I stayed. It has been my go-to source for in-depth info and analysis of issues important to me. We are in this together, and Trump’s four years, with the attacks against him by the Forces of Darkness, have revealed the depth and extent of the swamp and its creatures who are working to defeat not just Trump, but the United States of America. He has drawn them out onto the field of battle, and we now see and understand what we are up against.
I have been reading this site since the Trayvon/Zimmerman fiasco. This is my first comment. I love this site which I found reading another blog’s comments. It’s my first read in the morning and my last read before I retire for the night. The articles are thorough, well cited and very well written. I used to read every comment but lately, there have been so many I can’t get through them all. I will be here for the long haul. I have total faith in Sundance and in our president, Mr. Trump!

I turned off the CBS broadcast and folded down the rabbit ears the night Obonzo was elected. No sense watching the news for that reward. Then subscribed to Rush but canceled that the night Obonzo was re-elected. Love Rush but need results not angst and ulcers.
My reading list is American Thinker and, Powerline from whom I learned about the Treehouse. A.T. covers a wider swath; Powerline articles are brief and pointed. The Treehouse is narrow, deep and thorough. I’m ready to drop Powerline because they have not lifted a finger to defend our reelection. I can’t support that.
I assigned 2 of my patents to a Private Equity firm and once the ink was dry, the knives came out. Unequally yoked, I didn’t make a dime. Sundance must have the very best, top notch lawyers to succeed in conjunction with Private Partners. If your agreement is bullet proof, the Partners won’t sign you. Be thankful. All of us on this limb will be grateful.
Frankly, I don’t remember when or how I found the CTH; I stuck around all these years because I found Sundance, et al, to be bellwethers in a turbulent political sea, always vigilant over the horizon and always espousing valuable insights in advance of other sources. Mid 2016 I began here, had turned off the tv some years before that, read at American thinker, a little at Breitbart (couldn’t stomach much of that) & my wife sent me here after she came across CTH & read. Son was raving about that Trump guy (we liked Ben Carson, good man, but could see he was not tough enough). Yes, voted for the best President ever, twice, even though it does not count here in New Mexico.
Truth and street level explanations, I say street level, because I can understand Sundance’s explaining financial stuff! (Was an artist/wood turner, somewhat self sufficient mountain dweller.) Went out of business twice under Obozo, once because of 0’s trashing the economy, the second time, 0’s regulations, rough years, had just given up and got a job after being self employed most of my life.
In short, Sundance’s investigations and verifiable truth, many great Treeper’s consistent comments, and the great mods that keep the place swept up, a nice place to be. Don’t post much, but read daily, and share what I know & the CTH address all over.
How did I find The Conservative Treehouse? I can’t remember. It’s like trying to remember how and when I met one of my closest friends and what brought us together? My guess is that I stumbled across TCH via a link from another conservative website or talk show personality. What brought me here? Probably the need for conservative-with a capital C, commentary, analysis and education. Also, the late Andrew Breitbart–it is Very hard believing that he’s gone. Still. Why do I stick around? Your knowledge, energy, courage-to name a few. Don’t agree with you 100% of the time. More like 99.9%. And the other Treepers. Wow, are they smart!

What it was like, what happened and what it’s like now? Where did I hear that!
OK, as avid AT lurker I’d see on occasion a reference to treehouse /CTH or a link and I’d follow it. I was dissatisfied with Drudge at the time as he began to wobble a bit. I enjoyed Breitbart always.
Rush was a safe harbor but I needed a better mix of opinion, I found my self frequenting CTH more often. Not one with great typing skills I felt good head nodding with an occasional like. It began to feel a home. Once I began to recognize some of the usual contributors the mix of opinion became a source of mental debate. Simply, a sounding board for my already set convictions.
Haven’t looked at Drudge in the last two years. I still enjoy AT each day as a point of reference via the blog. But, I never head out to daily Mass with out the Lords Prayer and Sundance’ enlightenment to set my mind in a positive light. The early Obummer years (and all the rest) were mind boggling but Sundance made sense of it. We’ll turn the page on WordPress and 2.0, I’m sure, will be them old garden shoes – too comfortable to discard but well broken in and fit so well.
I’m ready, let’s roll!

This morning, when I opened the newspaper and read the headlines, I said, “I am so tired of being force-fed propaganda.” My wife said, “Do you prefer your propaganda to be free-range?” “No,” I said. “I prefer no propaganda at all.”
As I was reading Sidney’s filing embedded at the Treehouse, today, I was thinking: “Primary sources are what tiggers like best.”
And that is what attracted me to CTH. I don’t know how I found this site, exactly, but it was during the mess before 2016. I’m sure it was a link from a news agregator. Sundance’s insight, based on obvious experience, is what floored me. The meme humor… The excellent writing… Having primary sources embedded… The prayerful, faithful evidence… Such a caring community… (I’ve prayed specific prayers for people here because of this site.)
This is the first time I’ve posted a comment. I am so grateful for the work presented here.

I came to the Treehouse in early 2016 while reading an article in Breitbart and browsing the comments. One of the comments had a link to the Treehouse and I’ve been a regular reader ever since. I am intrigued by the deep dive of the articles and the exposure of the political and media corruption. We need a better informed public and that will only come through an independent media.
Came here during the Primaries in 2016. I started out supporting Cruz but when Trump began to perform more strongly than I thought possible, I needed to learn more. Can’t remember the source for CTH but once I found it I have never left.
Why have I stayed? Not only have I found a resource that is thoroughly researched and provides documented sources, I have received an education in Economics. The Wall St. vs Main St. analysis has been spot on and way ahead of anything in the Mainstream Media. I sensed much of it before but Sundance’s clear explanation makes the signs easy to identify.
Shortly after I moved from Maryland to Tennessee in 2018, I heard about the World’s Largest Treehouse near my new home. Unfortunately it burned down last year and won’t be rebuilt.
Once the move is done, CTH will take its rightful place and I will continue to support it.
CTH was referenced by a poster on Breitbart in
2015-2016, and I was drawn here like a magnet. It wasn’t always smooth sailing, as I was banned from commenting for the better part of a year, but thankfully I found my way back to Sundance’s good graces.
I find CTH to be a fascinating snapshot of Donald Trump’s explosion onto the world scene. Those who hunger for real news can get it here in spades. Sadly, real news is nearly impossible to find these days.
Sundance recently shared that he keeps the “ragtag misfit” web persona so he can fly under the radar. I had wondered why it was so, because this description prevents me from sharing Sundance’s excellent articles with more people. They don’t take the site as seriously.
I must add that I enjoy the comments here as much as I enjoy the articles. Each commenter brings a unique perspective and a wealth of experience.
I am grateful that we can share our thoughts on various topics here, in the hope that we will collectively find the means to defend and protect our glorious nation and the free world. These are lofty goals to be sure, but with a righteous God and our hero President, as well as each other, I truly believe we will get there.

One of the articles Sundance had written was linked on whatfinger. The title intrigued me so I read the article. Then as I always do I scrolled through comments.
The source documents included satisfied my need to verify information for myself. The posters and commenters bring a depth of knowledge, experience, and other resources to look at. This is easily the most authentic group of real people online. Real people sit behind the devices for a real purpose, not because they are paid to be or bored and making mischief. That is why I stay.
As crazy as it sounds, I came here by means of Mundabor. He is an Italian, a traditional Catholic blogger, and lives in the UK, for crying out loud.
I stumbled on this one accidentally several years ago, and I so loved the articles, the insights, the people, I am forever amazed with Sundance’s connecting the dots, this is the only site I read religiously everyday! It is my evening relaxation! I learn so much from Sundance and the wonderful group of people here, so I am so thankful for all of CTH!

I probably came in through a link from someone, I do remember see the Breitbart banner and saying this looks good to me. I have to admit for some reason, I thought you were a female for some time, not that it mattered, just an observation.

~2015.. was very hard to find material supportive of Trump around the time he announced his candidacy.. MSM was/is extremely biased, full of negative articles.. found this site to be one of the very few sites to read some middle of the road articles.. especially as I didn’t find Trump to be like regular republicans who are generally war hawks, don’t look out for the best interest of Americans when it comes to trade or immigration, etc..
The topics / articles posted by Sundance and team are mostly aligned, I think, to how many Trump supporters feel not just for Trump but for the country too.
The comments sections of this site, I find, is very helpful with good posts gathered by folks which provides good source of information for a topic being discussed. Folks also try to honestly point out disingenuous information if posted by someone knowingly or unknowingly which helps sort through ton of fake news.
Thank you and your team for the amazing work over the years, keep up the good work.. Hopefully your 2.0 site comes out beautifully. Really saddened by the reach of socialism and the draconian censorship along with it creeping this country.
Oh do I remember 2015.. when Brietbart, Fox, Rush, RedState, Mark L, National Review, etc.. they were all against Trump.. supporting other republican candidates Jeb, Ted, Marco.. so if was really hard to find some positive content on what Trump’s actual views were..

I learn a lot from many of the posters as well as Sundance. I found a home with many knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful friends and neighbors. Realized I enjoyed sharing my observations with the same.
I found TCTH during the the fraud over the “white hispanic” in FL who shot would-be MMA fighter who was beating him to death. My first link in was through Lucianne.com. Operation Zero footprint coverage nailed me down as a regular browser. I sometimes respond to posts but rarely have much new to add to discussions other than a little historical background.
In my misspent youth I worked in local politics in Fairfax County Virginia but got out after I did opposition research and discovered that almost every candidate I had worked for as well as those I had worked against was a crook. The party machines on both sides cooperated to sink honest candidates lest they spoil the opportunities to steal.
Obviously, the same thing happens at a national level. This site is the most incisive coverage that I have found online.
I stumbled upon this site during the Zimmerman trial. I’ll never forget that night, I started reading comments and laughed my a$$ off for a good 4 or 5 hours before I realized I had to be at work the next day. Those were the days of Howie(miss that guy), and I believe our fearless leader still had his SDC moniker, though I’ am not 100% sure on that.
This site offers the best political analysis anywhere. It’s truly second to none! Thank you to Sundance and all the incredibly well informed commenters that frequent this site. I hope to be coming here for another 8 years. And then 8 years after that!
Oh, and one more thing Wolverines, the fact that they hate us so much is one of the greatest blessings we could ever imagine. Never ever forget that!
How did I find this site and what brought me here:
I found this site while looking for real news about what was happening in Oregon during the standoff between the Bundy’s and the Feds in 2014. Not sure which search engine I used, maybe google with very specific terms and Boolean queries but whatever I did I found a branch here and never left. Was a lurker for a couple years. My first post was on election day 2016 and it was an anonymous post. I knew that President Trump was going to win in my heart of hearts and everyone here for most part did too. I didn’t post again until this year when I actually registered for a WordPress account. I’m at a point now where it really doesn’t really matter to me who reads my posts.
Why I’m sticking around? It truly is the last refuge in this digital world we live in. Hooyah Sundance, looking forward to CTH 2.0. Gloves off, locked and loaded, lets do this!
I came in 2016 for a respite from the MSM, lurked for a couple of years before creating an account to join in the commentary, and now the Treehouse is my primary source for news and in-depth analysis of all things political. Sundance’s unique ability to tie things together along with his dogged research isn’t found anywhere else that I’ve seen. This community of friends that I most likely will never meet provides insight, many ideas to ponder, and more than a few times of high hilarity. Watching President Trump’s rallies while commenting with fellow Treepers has been great fun.
I came for the respite and stay for the excellent information provided by Sundance and fellow Treepers. And the laughs, can’t forget the laughs.
My first stop in the morning after waking up has been American Thinker. During the 2016 election, I actually kept seeing references made to CTH from articles at AT. So I clicked the link. Here I found information that at first went against everything I thought I knew about our government and institutions, but deep down knew something wasn’t quite what it seemed.
It was here that I paid attention to things that I never paid attention to before. And it was also here that I actively took part in commenting constructively. Instead of just throwing out a comment and not sticking around for the rest of the conversation. And it was also here that, figuratively speaking, I had my head handed to me on a platter by a certain character that I’ll only identify by their initials as SD. And have also been complimented by him also.
It was also here that helped me to grow, not only in knowledge, but also in level of commitment. In other words, backing up my talk with action, politically speaking. Volunteering as a poll observer. Getting involved in recount teams, etc.
So I still start my mornings with American Thinker, mainly because rarely are there new posts by SD that early in the morning. And then I check here, and throughout the day as well.
Anyway, that’s how I started here, and cannot imagine what life would be like without interacting with my family and friends here on these branches of free thinking and unconditional love of ideas, love of country, and love of our Constitution. May you be blessed beyond all measure of what God, the Source of life and peace, has to offer you.

I found my way here through the comments section at Gateway Pundit. I’ve been on Trump’s side since I first heard him speak in the primary – when my wife asked who I liked I replied “I kinda like Trump, he’s the only one talking sanity.” I used to listen to Jim Quinn’s “The Warroom” on talk radio but he was taken off the air. I was a Drudge reader for years, but after he turned against Trump I started looking for alternatives. Spent some time on InfoWars, but the signal to noise ratio seems low. Breitbart was awesome, but his site hasn’t been the same since he died. I was feeling somewhat adrift and looking for an honest message with the original sources to back it up.
I’ve always found comments sections to be great places to learn. I don’t do social media, so message boards have been my place to really find new information to pursue. I haven’t been here too long, lurking a year or so, and have only started posting in the last month or two, spurred on by recent events as I’m normally a very quiet person. But this is the best community I know of to read and share with. Thank you for making it so. Keep the faith – it is the single most important thing we can do, and I appreciate that you do.

I just found CTH a few weeks ago following election night… and I love it! I must confess I did not realize the amount of information being censored on a daily basis. I am disgusted by the events of November 3 but feel like it awakened myself & millions of others to what is happening in America. Maybe this is what it takes to awaken Americans. O my ! I think I got to The Treehouse from something on Breitbart. Was mid 2015 around the time our great President Trump and Melania came down the escalator to announce his entering the Presidential race. I was hooked by all the posts/analysis by Sundance plus all of the great comments from Treepers. This site is the first I look at in morning & last at night. God bless you Sundance, Adrems & all working on this awesome site. Praying that the transition to CTH 2.0 goes smoothly. And God bless President Trump for 4 more years!

That’s how long you and this wonderful place has been a multi-times a day visiting place.
If I look back through years of emails I see hundreds of links, clips, ideas and quotes from articles and comments written here. It was a punch to the stomach when I first read about the deplatforming. The fear of all this multi-level, detailed and resourced information possibly being lost to the world was palpable.
Historians will one day write about this place as a place where liberty made a stand. And won!

I do not remember what link led me here. I am a long time reader and barely poster. I speak of Sundance as a trusted friend to others. I feel as though I belong here with like-minded God and liberty loving people. I have never met Sundance or the posters but I know Patroits reside here.
I found the Treehouse in the July of 2015. My son was study abroad in S Korea and we were visting when the Philando Castile shooting occurred. The few websites I checked (all MSM) were demonizing the police, so I had to look hard to find “just the facts”. I was impressed with the perspective of some guy called “Sundance” and also found most of the commenters to be sane.
I stayed because I started reading some of the other articles about business & the economy. I actually thought Donald Trump was running for President as a publcity stunt. After I read many posts & comments, I knew I would vote for the gimmick…
It’s sad to see the tree being cut down – but glad to see the Treehouse is moving to a more open platform (WordPress makes it almost impossible for me to comment or like posts for the past year!)
Sundance is awesome. His accuracy and predictions are unmatched anywhere. He has opened my eyes to so much far beond politics. The admins are unmatched on any other platform. Treeper are the greatest fellowship.

I had been hanging out at Ace of Spades HQ for 8 or 9 years and I must have followed a link from a poster over there. I started following CTH a few months after Donald Trunp announced his campaign. I think I was ready for a more mature experience. Sundance of course is an exceptional writer that digs deep for the truth. Thank you Sundance! When I went back and read the Benghazi Brief I literally cried. It always bothered me-alot-that we had no good information much less the truth about that.
Commenters at the Treehouse are respectful, funny, wise, and encouraging. I’ve learned alot from all y’all about myself since I grabbed a branch and called it home. I learned I’m a truth seeker and always have been. I admire so many of you for your courage in life. Im glad that people of faith are here and outspoken about it. I feel like you are my people and this is my home.
I come here everyday. I don’t always speak out. Like everyone else here I’ve been emotionally exhausted from the election and what the DS is trying to do to us, our nation and our President. But the last couple of days I’ve been feeling a lot more stable and better yet, optimistic. Like the tide is turning. POTUS has been very quiet aside from his tweet storms. It’s like he’s got a few things up his sleeve. And I believe he does.
Not sure whether I first searched into CTH or linked from other conservative sites in 2012-13 several times chasing (suppressed) news details e.g. Travon. ZeroHedge was my favorite then. After a while I realized I was seeing more complete and accurate news details on controversies and suppressed news, sooner, with good comments.
So this became my first choice of the day for many categories.
A coworker told me about CTH about two years ago. I’ve been reading posts every day since. I can’t even stay in a room where the MSM is on air. I need the CTH.
I found this site about a decade ago because I followed Andrew Breitbart. Since then The Treehouse has been my primary source for news. I trust & love this community. This is my first ever comment mostly due to time constraints involving my child. Conversely, our community mostly echoes my thoughts on the various topics in the last decade so I don’t have much to add. Cold Anger doesn’t require a comment. I’ve stayed a loyal Treeper because of the quality of the content. God bless all of you & God bless Sundance for all you’ve done. I’ll see you on our next adventure. Love to all from Missouri.
How did I get here: stumbled here during the Travon debacle. I love the intellect and the honesty of fellow Treepers, I learn so much from the comments and sincerely thank all. Sundance’s loyalty to Treepers is amazing and always will be appreciated.
Found CTH from a link at FreeRepublic forum in the middle of 2016 primary season. Signed up with WP and started commenting in Oct. 2016. Watched with amazement when DJT walked out of the curtain amid le Miserable theme song with Keln’s great poster in FL. Shared the great joy of Nov. 8 – 9, 2016 at CTH. Disappointed and left briefly after heated discussion about “Jeff Session/n-D chess”. Learned from Sundance the terms and phrases like Uniparty, controlled opposition, trillions at stake and so many more. Convinced Sundance is among the greatest minds of this century and deserves Presidential Medal of Freedom after this epic battle to save the Republic is won.
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you, Sundance and CTH, for giving me a home where there are so many like-minded decent and smart people. The best blog/forum on the net. Hope to see you all at the new CTH home.
I’ve been visiting for years. I found the Treehouse searching for news on Benghazi. I became a daily reader when the coup against our President began. I’ve never left a comment. I stayed because the conversation is respectful and insightful. Sundance is a treasured last refuge for TRUTH. I appreciate all of you as you have made me laugh, cry and mostly nod in agreement. When I read about the Treehouse getting the axe it scared me as I thought I might not be able to continue to enjoy reading the conversations and then also on a deeper level of what it could mean to silence this forest of patriots. I promised myself I would begin to comment when we got transplanted over to 2.0.

Saw mention of CTH years ago on a forum I was a member of. Dropped in due to a link on a Canadian financial blog once the coup attempt began.
What was it that brought you here?…
Well, the attempted annihilation of President Trump. I knew exactly WHY he was elected, but did not anticipate the ongoing coup attempt(s). Red pilled. What an awesome man he turned out to be.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?
News junkie, very strong sense of right and wrong, a bit on the investigative/sceptical side. I’ve found that very often, better and more accurate information can be gleaned from comments than from “official” sources (MSM articles). This place turned out to be an ever-exploding volcano of information, both articles/posts and comments.
Sticking around now to see who wins…light or dark. Winner affects all of Western world.

What was it that brought you here?…
Using Google, I could only find left wing news. I thought there must be conservative/right wing news somewhere. I found a few websites that mentioned others and so on and, through six degrees of separation, eventually found the Treehouse. So that’s how I got here, but it was the high quality of content that kept me here.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?
Quality analysis and content. No better analysis can be found.
