We have a rather unique situation here… The digital U-Haul is loaded after our eviction from WordPress/Automattic for violations of community ‘wrong think’ and questioning narratives against the interests of Big Tech. After a decade on the platform we are sweeping up the porch and saying farewell to the WordPress community.
The CTH family is disappointed at the business position of Automattic, but we are also excited about the new home we have created. CTH 2.0 is going to be awesome, liberating and even better. We are so blessed and fortunate beyond my wildest imaginings.
Right now we are patching the holes in the walls and running the vacuum while our long-time friends stop by to express their anger about our eviction. Simultaneously, those who moved away to the big city are coming back to visit and express their support.
I cannot go into details, mostly because I haven’t yet decided whether to accept a proposal for a grand exit – or stick to our customary & understated simple wave farewell, but the big city folks want to use this eviction as a warning of sorts.
Apparently, the youthful rebellious spirit within those who sold-out to mega-media conglomerates and bright lights has been triggered. A spirit we at CTH retain.
Out there in the land of the MSM right now there is a group of ‘journalists’ ideologically reminiscing for a time when the counter-culture was fighting for the truth; damn the consequences and without care for wounded feelings, delicate sensibilities or financial livelihoods. They reflect on a spirit we have retained and protected within our CTH community. A spirit we will never stop safe-guarding from enticement and compromise.
We are rag-tag misfits, we are proud of it, and -if needed- we clean up well.
We are a crew more comfy eating pizza from box on a tailgate than trying to fit in with a new media outlook of highfalutin’ big technocrats. We are, quite simply, the rebel alliance.

Came here several years ago, following the December murder of young Jessica Chambers in Mississippi.
The crime against Jessica reminded of honor killings against girls who transgress social codes in Palestinian culture. I was horrified to think that this custom of punishing and murdering young women had arrived in America also.
It made a world of difference to me that Sundance and the Treepers cared about Jessica as a human being, that what had happened to Jessica MATTERED to the people here.
I didn’t know Jessica personally; but nothing Jessica could have done (and she was as flawed, imperfect and lovable as every other human being) would have made her deserving of the cruelty done against her. It still horrifies me to consider that the person who most likely killed Jessica Chambers, had been assigned the role of babysitter to his girlfriend’s son while she worked. That poor toddler, given over to the charge of a sadist. How could this situation come about? Was there no one else to help raise that baby? What will become of HIM? Will that child become warped and cruel like his mother’s partner, instead of the healthy person God means him to grow into? Childcare matters…adult guidance matters; Jessica had fallen in with a cruel, mean bunch of people, one of whom killed her.
May Jessica Chambers rest in peace. Thanks to all of you for being here, and looking to face the truth of our lives. Your fellowship is valuable to me.
I found this community during the Trayvon Martin episode. I continued to lurk and occasionally comment because the analysis of such current events, continuing through Ferguson and the insurance policy, was spot on. I stay and will follow for the same reasons. CTH is simply the best current events blog, period. On this particular day, during this particular crisis, I thank the Lord that we have our own Jeremiah in Sundance speaking truth to power.
I came a few years ago from a mention in the American Thinker. I can’t remember if it was mentioned in the article or the comment section of an article. At the time, the American Thinker and the Federalist were my two main daily reads.
I’ve read comment sections of other posts, but the Treehouse is the first and only one I provide comments to. Right now, Treehouse and Gateway Pundit are my two main digital news sources.
I stayed with the Treehouse because I like both the content of articles/posts and the content of the comment sections. I enjoy reading here daily. Hearing the Treehouse mentioned by Howie Carr and Lou Dobbs reinforces that I made a good choice in coming here and finding a comfy branch.
Truth is what I was looking for when I found CTH; truth is why I stayed. Goes back to Obama survival days. CTH has always been my first click because I knew the intel was very carefully researched and only what is certain was discussed.
I started here originally years ago when Breitbart was the n turmoil and changed there comment system. A poster.by the name of Cowboy Logic directed me here. If I am not.mistaken at that time original content was limited but the bones were being formed. I got busy with developing a new business. Back then I commented as MiPain. I got back in with the Travon Martin case and have been here ever since.

Despair brought me here.
I am an engineer and nerd, love sci fi and the pursuit of idealistic dreams and innovations, made attainable by people who work with purpose and are grounded in logic, rationale and data.
After Bush43 war engagements, and the 1st soetero election, I honestly thought I was the odd duck in the swan room, as I could not grasp the logic or sense of either. This was compounded by living in Massachusetts at the time, where everyone I knew was happily going along, focused on their own bubble and not thinking beyond that, and this made them happy in a sort of way. But I was trying to grow, thinking critically and assessing the impact of events and dangers that were being generated. The more I considered, the more I realized that I was among real sheep, and these sheep did not want to know what was outside their pen, as that would permeate their bubble and interrupt their happy daily tasks. In fact, they were consuming the news spin for nourishment, and seemed to feed off of it; it made them feel good, like they were part of some evolving community. And, as long as they didn’t think too much about tit they could stay happy and nourished that way. Questions were shunned and mocked, warnings were dismissed as extreme.
I wanted out! I got my dual citizenship as my parents were from Canada, and I did some work up there for a half year in Toronto. It was not sanctuary; it was a view into a future that the US was headed to if course was not corrected. At that time Toronto had major middle eastern and china neighborhoods growing rapidly, mental illness rampant on the city streets, and government and societal pressure to conform through insane taxes and survival through coerced corrupt methods only, like avoiding some taxes by opening a small business at a jointly owned cabin in the north and declaring losses on your alleged fishing tours. No; Canada was and is gone; I wanted no part.
I needed to find like minded people beyond my family circle who had a forum to reach others. I had young kids and wanted them to mature with eyes wide open and an ability to think critically and act logically and with compassion, but most importantly with effectiveness and determination. I needed to know I was NOT alone!!
So I did what all nerds do, I read and researched and thought and analyzed and looked for COMMON SENSE. I found it here, in the daily stories on CTH by Sundance. Here, without bias or hubris, with clear layout of facts, timelines and data (Oh those wonderful connections to real, relevant data!!), and with a passion to common sense and justified rational conclusions and actions, was this news site and author pouring it out on topics that mattered tome and to the future of my children. Amazing knowledge and thinking that would make Spock envious. It was like a drug, a window to Realville opened up, and I was not going away from it. I could not watch network news years before this as I did not believe them. I stopped cable news as it did not serve any of my needs. Through Sundance, I found other bloggers and people who viewed events with the same critical eyes and rational thoughts. I was re-energized, spread the word to my family and friends; we did not always agree, but we always got informed and discussed. It was great, I moved forward and became more active in campaigns and events, both charitable and political that I thought important for the future.
Sundance, I’ll be honest, a new site will be incredible, but even if you were forced to cypher your blog a word at a time onto grains of rice, I would still be reading, and discussing, and acting on what I find there. There is no-one else like you and no other place like this. We will never stop.

I was looking for answers as to what was happening around me. The spin made no sense. I heard Conservative Treehouse mentioned on Rush. It has been a source of conviction and information every since. Thank you for the in depth analysis and thought provoking insights. I check daily and learn from the responses as well. This is an enlightened group. Thank you.
I found the treehouse from a link in another article, but can’t remember where, but between 2015 and 2016. I go to other sites but can flip through the blaring headlines in a matter of minutes. On Breitbart, I see what Alyssa Milano, rob reiner, Bette Midler, Barbara Streisand or any other irrelevant, over the hill entertainer regurgitates for the day. Who cares. If I wanted to know what they think (I’d be in serious trouble) I’d go follow them on twitter.
I come here for the insightful deep dives and the intelligent discussions. I don’t always agree, but it always makes me think.

Your truthful, insightful and dogged investigation of the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman is what brought me to CTH. I don’t remember how I found CTH but after reading the early research of Sundance and the input of the posters, I was hooked. I would come here daily (sometimes more than once a day) to see what new insights were revealed about Trayvon, George and the Black Grievance Industry. It was amazing to read all the different aspects of that investigation by CTH and posters that turned out to be true and opposite of what the MSM was telling us. I have thoroughly enjoyed sitting among the branches and being educated by for more knowledgeable, wise and/or faithful contributors.
The passion to follow the truth whether in secular news articles or faith-based conversations is what kept me returning to CTH. The Truth Has No Agenda!

I came in 2016, I had heard a local radio host mention your page. I’d also seen something referencing Sundance on the Federalist. Once I started reading about the splinter strategy during the primary I stayed.
I stuck around as because as Sundance says “once you’ve seen the strings…you can’t unsee them.” Like traitors at the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street vs Wall Street, the Uni-Party and Decepticons.
It’s been an education. I like the fact that the posters are well read and typically understand the content.
I know that road in the picture. Drove over the “Buffalo”/Bison underpass for years. Now you can see the giant concrete box and steel gate from the new bike path. First saw it as a kid when it was under construction.
A friend told me about CTH. Started reading a little before the Wolf/Watkins dig. The analysis is spot on. Sundance sticks to solid facts and the connections they suggest, but looks at situations at all scales (weeds to 40k ft) to build a solid edifice. Great Work!

I was wading through the open sewer of the Zerohedge comment section in 2015 searching for nuggets, and saw a CTH reference. I came over for a look and never left. This place is the real deal. Sundance’s intelligence, wisdom and indefatigable research approach are the core of the experience, but the branches too are loaded with the very best kind of people. Some are brilliant, many have lived exceptional and productive lives, all exhibit a basic decency that is in short supply in many places. It simply feels like home. I found Conservative Treehouse during the George Zimmerman trial. The prosecution’s case made no sense to me, and the outrageous MSM coverage – ‘white Hispanic’, altered skin color, minimization of George’s injuries, and the altered 911 call – was so unbelievable, and only the Treehouse answered my questions. And Sundance has been keeping me grounded and sane ever since. My husband served in the Navy for 25+ years, and we did not sign up for what has happened to our nation! Sundance helped us recognize the evil we are confronting, We will be forever grateful for the daily posts, and the knowledgeable commenters who also post here. Been coming here ever since, and Sundance’s brilliant analysis and articles are my meat-and-potatoes. He made me understand the “Splitter” strategy, the economic divide between Main Street vs. Wall Street, the “Uniparty” and its goals, the existence of the Deep State, and so many other items political and philosophical. The Treehouse slowly morphed from being one of my go-to conservative places, to being just about the only place where there’s a chance of finding out the truth. Best of all, when Sundance outlines what’s going on, it finally makes SENSE. G.W. Bush’s actions often never made sense to me until Sundance pointed out the Uniparty and its aims. Running 15+ candidates for President just seemed utterly crazy until Sundance explained the “Splitter” strategy (and so I recognized it playing out again in 2019, with the Democrats this time — as I gleefully pointed out to liberal friends). Things that were illogical on the surface became utterly understandable, even predictable, once one understood the players and the goals. Like learning exactly what Islam is after 9-11, it’s been, at times, a very uncomfortable understanding to achieve, but I like things to MAKE SENSE and wouldn’t go back to ignorance if I could. Nor would I give up the companionship of my fellow patriots and dear countrymen who gather here!

I was reading an article on Breitbart about something, not sure what.
I had just sent a letter to Candidate Donald J. Trump, when he came down the escalator, about how he would be attacked by black arrows and that he would be assaulted on all sides, physically and metaphorically, in the media and outside the media and that I thanked him for his stepping up, standing in the breach to save our country.
Anyway, after I read the article, I was reading comments and saw a link to the conservative treehouse and that it was a good site, among others, that gave good analysis and insights into the topics of the day. That it was one of many non-liberal dominated sources of information.
That was in 2015. Have seen so many of the analysis foretell the future machinations that I was, and always have been, well prepared in advance to know what to expect.
I find the material blogs here interesting and the commenters quite engaging.
I might have changed my handle on here a few times in the past (various purposes, like my current one, WishWizardsandMore, is the name of my blog about writing) but everyone has always been kind, articulate and engaging, aside from the jealous ankle biters and trolls.
I stay because this place a is a solace in a tumultuous sea of deception and lies presented by the manipulators of the media and their puppeteers.

I was very impressed with Donald Trump coming from Queens myself and going to Catholic elementary school and high school in Long Island City….long before Long Island City was hip. It was a good neighborhood when I lived there but rough around the edges. Long Island City High School was simply LIC to anyone who lived in Queens. I was always confused by Republican Presidents who seemed to favor illegal immigration but talked tough on crime. It didn’t make sense to me. Then Donald Trump entered the picture and everything he said was just plain common sense and I became a fan. Looking for a website that had information on Trump led me to Breitbart and that’s where I found a comment discussing CTH. I’ve been hooked ever since. Democrats use fear as their marketing strategy. If you don’t vote Democrat you’re going to die from Climate Change, Russian Collusion, White Supremacists or the latest hoax Covid-19. It works on a lot of people. Donald Trump’s marketing strategy was common sense steps to make Americans safer and more prosperous. CTH brought out the reasons why so much of Washington DC was against President Trump and the reason was simply what was good for Americans wasn’t good for Washington DC! Washington DC is full of traitors.
I grew up in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (edge of LIC Queens) and my brothers went to LIC High School. I talked with friends who I grew up in with in Greenpoint about what about growing up in the Greenpoint/LIC area made us conservatives and immune from the BS? Seriously? It’s a real question. Was it genetic, (immigrant history) or was it environmental? I am really curious.
Cognitive dissonance is the problem. Many people are too afraid to admit the truth of a hostile takeover called the New World Order. So they distract themselves.
I had one friend insist that the Department of Homeland Security was guarding the perimeter against lethal white supremacists preparing for the endtimes. Another thinks that the government will take care of her family. She bought into free college tuition and banning AR rifles.
Confirmation bias is another obstacle. The ENEmedia and tech giants have convinced people that that “Trump haters” are in the majority, and that everybody who is anybody agrees with Globalists.
Back to cognitive dissonance: To accept what is happening to us and the world at large is so terrifying to them that they shut down all reason and rational thought. It is easier for them emotionally to live in lala land, with eyes wide shut, like a deer in the headlights.
What they fail to realize is that diving under the covers with eyes tightly closed will not chase the bogeyman away. On the contrary, the evil has grown more menacing by the day. It only sure road to a peaceful existence is to fight back NOW. Fight like your life depends on it!

March 17, 2017, I was tired of Fox and looking for the truth. It was the day Devin Nunes gave his initial press conference on the unmaskings of members of the Trump campaign & family. Somehow I linked from an article on Townhall.com to Twitchy.com to CTH. I was up all night reading another article posted by Sundance.
I found that article rather shocking.

I’ve been here ever since, pretty much daily, for too many hours. I love Sundance, Admin & the many wonderful posters at CTH. Once you see the strings, you can’t unsee them.

As with many, I heard a radio host cite one of Sundance’s articles. I checked the site later when I got home, and impressed by what I read, I made CTH my go to truth site. I will still go to some other sites, but only after first reading indepth well researched articles, supported by evidence and logic. I stay because of the proven trustworthyness of this site, and you Sundance, are very appreciated.
Before the 2016 election I kept seeing references to CTH on different blogs I went to and decided to take a look. After a few forays into the tree leaves here, I found my small branch amongst the bigger, older branches and I landed and stayed. I’ve been a happy and interested Treeper ever since. I enjoy the ability to discuss all manner of subjects with others who are willing to generously share their thoughts, expertise and camaraderie.
The leadership, information and analysis that Sundance provides and the intelligent, knowledgeable people who come to this place, keep me right here. We need direction, information and unity if we are going to navigate our way as a society and as a unified people to save this grand country called America, to preserve its best qualities and its Constitutional framework. This place, this refuge called CTH is a site where we can begin to do just that, armed with the information we need and with people who are dedicated to the same cause.

From American Thinker as I recall. I stayed because Sundance, et al, are publishing content that is worthy of the Pulitzer, and beyond. Many contributors add valuable insight. And once in a while someone on here gets ‘pissed off’ about things (like Obama, Flynn, etc)…and that’s ok too. I understand ‘Cold Anger’…but good ole ‘blood-boiling anger’ is understandable.

The last four years have been mindboggling. I graduated from law school 44 years ago and practiced law actively until four years ago. Law practice gave me the ability to think critically and sniff out the truth. At the same time I retired Trump was elected. For a time I bought the MSM dirt on Trump but increasingly it didn’t sound right or true to me. The more I questioned the more I found I didn’t believe the MSM. So I began to look around for the truth and soon enough I found this place. As I say, the last four years sure have been mindboggling.
The site was recommended to me during the Zimmerman/Trayvon train wreck. I was on the inside of that situation at the time. It was very satisfying to be able to provide Sundance some specific insight into some aspects of the story and then see how he was able to take the info, expound on it and then connect some dots within the numerous side stories within the story.
I love this place. Great info, the best people, period.
I could see the dots but Sundance connected them with the correct amount of reality that I didn’t want to face.

I found this wonderful refuge shortly after President Trump was nominated and never left.
Sundance offered me peace, tranquility, hope, knowledge, shared values, prayer, earned respect, and most importantly truth.
Everywhere else I turned wanted me to sign in, sign up, subscribe, buy a news letter or some product they were pushing. But in my search for the truth Sundance asked only for manners, prayers, and polite but, unencumbered conversation.
I remained quiet as a mouse on my branch for 4 years reading and learning from Sundance and Treepers, to think critically, to go deep, to pray, all the while feeling like I was part of a family.

What was it that brought you here?… I like to consider myself a reasoning person and one thing that I really don’t like being bombarded with armageddon reporting. It is wearying on the mind and soul. I liked that I could see what was happening with our leadership without feeling attacked by “friendly fire”.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?… I stayed because you provided proof. Every opinion is well thought out and backed up with facts, not just “statistics” (there are lies, damn lies, and statistics!). And while things can definitely seem bleak at times, you always find a way to provide hope.
I don’t remember exactly how I stumbled into here. Probably by way of reference from post on similar site. I stay because I seek the truth. The whole truth. I’m an adult. I can deal with it. Please commit to and continue pursuit of the truth. Happy Thanksgiving!
I can’t remember how I came across TCH, but one article in I was sold on “the real deal”. I was in the presence of genius made better by humility. It took some mental gymnastics on my part to stay up to speed with what I was reading and, truth be told, I never really got totally up to speed being a humble hillbilly. I’ve received far more than I can give and for that I am forever grateful.
I just stumbled onto the site during obutthead’s first reign and the trayvon fiasco. The TV was lying to me and I was welcomed here.
I was looking for common sense. It seemed the world had started spinning in the wrong direction and my country was being chipped away. I was drowning and nearly out of air. You were and are my lifeline.
I stick around because the people here are kind, caring and love this country. My opinions and ideas were warmly received and encouraged. I had hope again that America would survive. I felt I was “home and among a loving family”
I followed a link from somewhere long forgotten when the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman narrative was being set by MSM, etc. It was predictable, contrived and worthless. Verifiable information kept me here throughout the episode. Afterwards, I continued to watch and read for a long time before I ever posted.
I was already well traveled through the wide highways and back alleys of the Internet in my search for truth. I’d been to the “most respected” establishments, read both sides of the aisle, stopped in the venues where whispers were traded like currency and spend numerous nights and days in historical archives. I learned a lot of solid information, found a bunch of junk and poked a hive network of lies. Nowhere did I encounter the kind of raw research and teamwork to find the truth…for the sake of truth…than I found at the Treehouse. Raw and honest. Dots connected.
That’s all I want. My principles don’t change depending on who is involved or with what party they’re affiliated. These steadfast principles drive Sundance, the mods and most of the posters. The pursuit of truth is worth the effort. It’s far too valuable to be deterred by the rocks and mud thrown by fearful people who think winning by any means necessary is noble amorality. Winning is knowing the truth.
That’s why I came and stayed. Thank you, Sundance, mods and comment contributors.
I don’t know how I began visiting this site, but I probably just found it buried somewhere on the Breitbart sites.
I have been dismayed by the growing collectivist mentality that is now attempting to force its will on freedom loving Constitutionals like myself. I found many people on this site who share my faith in God and in the Constitution of our Country. Many of us believe God helped our Founders to create this Republic.
I have always held Communism to be the political force of evil. The people who post their thoughts here generally demonstrate a high level of integrity and seek to find the truth in the torrent of media diversions and outright lies. I feel I get closer to the truth here than most all other places, and that is why I visit every day.
I found Treehouse from a link from Breitbart before Andrew died. Loved the members, from Zurich Mike and his love for bacon to Menagerie’s recipe extravaganza’s but Sundance’s well researched articles is what kept me here. Stellar blog and members. Will go wherever you land. Thank you Sundance. I am grateful for your shared information.

I believe I was reading Jeff Carlson when I stumbled onto you. I was trying to follow the Clinton fiasco and follow what was happening to our great president. I found your site very informative and how you are able to keep up with everything is truly amazing! You are my news site lol. I read your posts every single day. You made everything easy to understand and if I got confused I would go back and re-read what I think I missed. You no longer can believe the msm and you are my go to person. I started as a lurker many years ago. Before PDJT. The Christian element lets me know how to start my day. Amen. The amount of hyperlinks and references is amazing and confirm the dialogs discussed. Many strings are shown that would have been missed with experienced eyes. Thank you.

How did I get here? I no longer remember, but I believe it was through twitter(yes I still have an account but no longer use it except as a link to news from elsewhere}during the Martin/Zimmerman case. Well before the trial. I had also been using a site that had that crazy picture of a police officer pointing a weapon at a small child trying to hand the officer his Skittles! I was looking for answers and found this site. The information and rationality appealed to me so I lurked for a long time.
I stay because of the in depth discoveries, clear and concise explanations, and the format of the comments sections. I don’t like the bickering, name calling, language, etc. of the other sites I had visited. Here you can like a comment or answer a comment without all of that. The comments form other posters also contain, in many instances, more relevant information to the topic because they act like a team that CARES about the topics and the TRUTH of the topics.
I have enjoyed Sundance’s, and all of the admins, efforts to give us clear headed and in depth analysis on the topics. Thank you for your efforts and don’t leave us behind.
Happy Thanksgiving! I came here via freerepublic shortly after the 2016 election. I had been looking for info on the Russia nonsense when someone deep in an FR thread credited Sundance for doing some amazing work on the topic. So I came here and found out that was true.
How did I get here? I think someone sent me one of your posts. That was 2015 or 2016. Why did I stay? I found you fantastic. I listened to an interview with Trump – the first one I listened to – on this site.I found you the best single resource to understand what was going on politically in the states. I still haven’t gotten everyone clear – but I know you know. And you seen such utterly nice people. Anyway, I’m from Canada, and I tremendously appreciate what you do. A million thank you.
Well said Elsa. I don’t really remember the first time I came to this site. I think it was during the Travon Martin situation. I remember being astounded by the facts and clarity this site brought to the discussion. This has been my first read of the day from that time forward.
