We have a rather unique situation here… The digital U-Haul is loaded after our eviction from WordPress/Automattic for violations of community ‘wrong think’ and questioning narratives against the interests of Big Tech. After a decade on the platform we are sweeping up the porch and saying farewell to the WordPress community.
The CTH family is disappointed at the business position of Automattic, but we are also excited about the new home we have created. CTH 2.0 is going to be awesome, liberating and even better. We are so blessed and fortunate beyond my wildest imaginings.
Right now we are patching the holes in the walls and running the vacuum while our long-time friends stop by to express their anger about our eviction. Simultaneously, those who moved away to the big city are coming back to visit and express their support.
I cannot go into details, mostly because I haven’t yet decided whether to accept a proposal for a grand exit – or stick to our customary & understated simple wave farewell, but the big city folks want to use this eviction as a warning of sorts.
Apparently, the youthful rebellious spirit within those who sold-out to mega-media conglomerates and bright lights has been triggered. A spirit we at CTH retain.
Out there in the land of the MSM right now there is a group of ‘journalists’ ideologically reminiscing for a time when the counter-culture was fighting for the truth; damn the consequences and without care for wounded feelings, delicate sensibilities or financial livelihoods. They reflect on a spirit we have retained and protected within our CTH community. A spirit we will never stop safe-guarding from enticement and compromise.
We are rag-tag misfits, we are proud of it, and -if needed- we clean up well.
We are a crew more comfy eating pizza from box on a tailgate than trying to fit in with a new media outlook of highfalutin’ big technocrats. We are, quite simply, the rebel alliance.

How did you find yourself a member of the CTH community?…. I was reading the Frontpage Mag in 2016/2017 and one of their posters suggested that people read TCTH.
What was it that brought you here?… a conservative narrative and a style of writing that communicates in simple but consistent ways how to consider the complex situations we all encounter in our lives and see in the political domain.
Why did I stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?… compelling research-based articles offering plausible truths and of course, the wide range of comments and witnessing human emotions in real-time.
I got suspicious of a tweet Hillary’s campaign tweeted out on 10/31/2016 that read as follows:
“Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump campaign to a Russian-based bank”
My first thought was……how could she possibly know that unless she’s working with somebody in the IC (like FBI computer forensics) or employing hackers in her campaign?
The very next day, 11/01/2016, an article appears in the New York Mag Intelligencer about the FBI probing the Trump campaign for Alleged ties to Russia (link here):

This set off alarms for me and I immediately suspected there was some sort of operation underway even though I had no idea the scope or whether it was possibly true or not. After Trump won the election in 2016, I watched the national media go into sudden hyper-drive accusing President elect Trump of having multiple ties to Russia with no evidence whatsoever. Having doubts about Trump having any ludicrous ties to Russia and Putin, and given the parties involved, I immediately suspected, to my absolute shock, that the national media was engaging in what appeared to be a direct disinformation campaign against the President-elect.
I spent a few weeks shouting at clouds on twitter about an ongoing disinformation campaign, seemingly alone in the world, and then I noticed others in the twitter realm beginning to pick up on what was happening. After following everybody I saw on twitter that seemed to understand what was taking place, I finally came across a link to this place and I have been here ever since. Suffice it to say, my account on twitter was permanently suspended as the result of my efforts to bring awareness, because of course it was. I’ve been a treeper ever since.

Was on zerohedge.com and a post referenced CTH, so I hopped over to the site and became a regular visitor. I’d quit watching TV and the pressitute stations 4yrs after 9/11, the manufactured Iraq War, the Patriot Act and the realization that Bush had sold out America. It was all too synchronized and from then on, I started casting a much wider net for truth vs. fiction. I’ve lived / worked overseas and my son has lived in the middle east 17yrs, so I wanted a bigger picture perspective and CTH has provided just that. I also stay because Treepers seem to share unifying values.. conservatism, patriotism, a willingness to stand firm for God, our Republic, the Rule of Law, our Constitution and freedom. Fairly new to CTH but you were recommended to me by my brother.
I was looking for the Truth (capital T) not spin and/or groupthink by the Media shills.
Have stayed because not only have found that Truth here, but inside information related with integrity; enhanced by commentary by some extremely intelligent and witty fellow Conservative Patriots out there who love this country and all it was meant for which to stand. Amazing what I have learned. Most of all, though I see reflected here the faith and love for our Lord and Savior.
The year was 2015. Ahhhh, the good old days. I had just gotten interested in finding the real story. The truth regarding our Government and ‘leaders’ who just kept talking and not delivering. On anything. Tired of the lesser of two evils. Then, one day, the wife said ‘ I read The Tree House and they seem pretty truthful’. Well, after meandering around the internet reading ‘The Drudge Report’ I came on board and have stuck thru thick and thin and will never leave. No headlines just deep thoughts on important events in our Country and the World. I am a permanent branch on this tree and am looking forward to the next season where blossoms await.
I first heard of CTH while I was switching between Michelle Malkins website and HotAir. Sometime around 2014 I got lucky and was able join both during open registration periods. Some commenters mentioned CTH on HotAir so I started visiting occasionally. I opened a WP account so I could comment but did not pursue commenting further then. Around the time President Trump announced his running for Pres. 2 things happened. HotAir started moving left and then switched their commenting to FB. I followed most of those that left to a startup site calling themselves HotGas and later SpartaReport. Also Michelle Malkin and mostly her regular commenters went anti-Trump. By that time I had been watching and observing and was realizing DT was after what is best for America to preserve her as a Representative Republic. It was during that time I came more regularly to CTH..
What drew me to CTH? Sundance and his writings. His ability to dig in to find what is really going on and presenting it for us to read. Early in my teens I did my own research to find out about Marx and Engels and what communism and related ‘isms’ was about and what it does. So I’ve watched my whole life as America has been pushed slowly to the left. Preserving America is important to me. Truth is important to me.
Being past time to retire but still working I appreciate those who have more time research among the others commenting here.
During the Zimmerman investigation I followed a link from “The Stately McDaniels Manor” and was so impressed by the research and opinion on display without the use of a Paywall I have been here every single day since. There is simply no better researched information available on the internet.
The comments are insightful and generally well informed. Why bother going elsewhere?
I happened to find the Treehouse when I did a search for top ten conservative websites. This was back in early 2016 when I was getting tired of all the lies, and biased news coverage. My job is in financial world, and I was honestly just trying to be the sharpest I could be to best serve my clients. This site was one of those ten.
I have been blessed over that time to learn so many things from such a widely diverse group of close-knit patriotic Americans. With Sundance and crew leading the way, this place has been a haven for me. A compass to guide us through this season of life, second only to the Holy Spirit.
I have treasured the articles, the stories and the commentary. I love the sense of humor and the sense of belonging to something bigger and better than ourselves. There have been some tough and dark days this year, and the Treehouse has certainly been a refuge for us.
I stay for sanity and encouragement in this difficult world.

My aunt brought me to CTH. A woman of strong Christian values and a teacher in the public school. When school districts were erasing history, my aunt pulled out old text books to supplement her students. This was around 2014 and I found the first source documents contained in this site to be very valuable. I appreciate Sundance’s views and opinions and feel very connected to this group. I was thrilled when Sundance was on the Trump train and it helped me speak up about Trump’s potential when others were shy. I was very fortunate to join Trump’s grassroots campaign and meet him in 2016. And during this these attacks against Trump over the last four years, which I felt deeply and took personally against the change I wanted for the USA, Sundance kept me optimistic and logical.
I was introduced to it by a young lady I met at Lancers in Burbank, California. She was very nice and sorta jumped into a conversation me and my son were talking about the Russia, Russia, Russia probe. We talked about the corrupt media and the big tech. She mentioned the CTH and I’ve been a reader and supporter ever since.
I can’t quite remember how I found this site…but it is my godsend every day. It calms me, informs, me, and teaches me. I’ve been reading here and learning since the escalator ride our beloved President took with his lovely bride. I have learned so much and can’t wait to explore the new frontier!
I found my way here many years ago when looking for like minded thinkers. I like analysis and truth. I even more like when analysis LEADS to the truth I think I know. That happens here frequently and is greatly appreciated.
Over the years I have frequently many different sites and still do. Yet, the core sites I frequent like CTH have not changed much. The truth is still presented. This is what brought me and keeps me frequenting them.
When you believe something to be true, you naturally look to find a way to verify that. Many times that is an extremely hard thing to accomplish is today’s world. Sometimes nearly impossible it seems. Yet, it still happens. CTH is among those increasingly rare places where that happens on a fairly regular basis.

My husband brought me to the Conservative Treehouse, from a Drudge link, back in the day when one could read Drudge. I mostly lurk here, as I am technically challenged when it comes to sharing links and such. I became hooked on the Treehouse and President Trump in April 2016. I watched the video of Trump speaking to the West Virginia coal miners. That video is a case study of leadership in action.
I enjoy the Treehouse for its civil discourse not just on politics and current events, but the “sense of the people.” Sundance, your recent post on the need for fellowship is spot-on. Masked monkeys in their cars and out in the open air are communicating, but it is a message of fear and conformity, not fellowship.
I also enjoy the input of people from around the globe. What would we do without A2 and his posts on all things Asia? Or the people who look to the United States to fight the fight for freedom?
The Treeshouse, in a gentle fashion, calls us to raise our sights, to become better, to aim high.
Finally, I appreciate the “mix” of postings on the Treeshouse: serious articles, good research, deep dive analysis, but also political cartoons, jokes, funny memes, patriotic themes, cats and dogs (literally and figuratively!).
I think we are winning the war against the enemies of our country. And we are doing it on our terms: not resorting to violence, hatred, insults, looting, incivilities, etc., but using the tools our Constitutional republic gives us to fight the war of ideas.

My story may be amusing….I found this site because of Hillary Clinton. She said in a speech that that right wing site Brietbart was evil and that little frog “ Pepe” was too! I only watched tv news. I thought if Hillary thinks it’s evil I’ll check it outBecause I’ll probably like it. . From the pre election to the win I searched the internet for truth and reporting I could believe in. Somewhere in that journey near the inauguration I found the CTH from a commentator on one of those sites I visited. I found I took a shine to Sundance’s analysis and insight to what was happening and he blew me away along with so many learned, insightful , and intelligent Treepers.
I needed a home after life altering events and I enjoyed being here every day soaking up the knowledge and a few times needing some of the good humor. And just as Hillary calling out everyone for being Deplorable ; she propelled me to grow from a low info tv news watcher to starting at the Last Refuge every mourning and rounding the globe in internet news websites and blogs. I too was here at 3 am praying for a reprieve from the news promising our President was a traitor. Many times I see or hear news and I think that’s so yesterday because I heard it here first! Because I have learned so much here I find it hard to understand why people are so blinded by the lies of the mockingbird press that I recognize is mostly propaganda. I could not get thru these last four years without this education and the welcoming comment section. I pray we have President Donald j Trump for four more years so that we may continue to live in Freedom and be able to discuss freely how we feel without Interference. After subscribing to the WSJ for over twenty years I became more and more upset at WSJ’s frequent use of leftist writers who thought it was proper to quote for example democrats and socialist union representatives regarding false allegations against Candidate Trump back in early 2016.
Of course this is after Murdoch purchased the WSJ.
I finally called the WSJ, gave them a scathing diatribe with references to biased articles and dropped my subscription.
Up to when Murdoch bought the WSJ, you could count on a short succinct straight report of news 12 to 24 hours before the main msm news reported it.
After some fumbling and perhaps a reference towards the Gateway Pundit I came across several references to the Conservative Treehouse.
I found the Treehouse not to be a replacement for the WSJ, but to be a far better written much more detailed analysis site.
After several decades working in Finance and Information technology, those were the kind of reports I greatly prefer.

• Caring.
• Intelligent.
• Well referenced!
• Details! Details! Details!
• Excellent retention and use of history! No other site that I know of builds their news or analyses foundations then incrementally improve the detail, knowledge, references, links, names and places!

• Firm belief and reliance upon our Founding Father’s Principles, Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Constitutional Amendments.

I found CTH via comments from Howie Carr on his radio show. Once found, I never left. It is one of my primary sources of info.
The deep dives and references to other actions where you analyze and tie it together is of huge value and hard to find anywhere else. The Treepers comments provide additional insight. Links to the underlying testimony, documents, hearings,etc are the icing on the cake. It’s about the truth.
Simple: When I want the truth, CTH is the place I go. My brother recommended this site years ago and I’ve stayed since because Sundance is brilliant and there are a lot of very smart people here who I trust and respect. Some days, coming here is the only way I can stay positive and optimistic – it is literally a breath of fresh air. I recommend it to everyone I meet.

I found CTH five years ago as a link from another political page (and I honestly cannot remember today where that was) and have rarely had a day go by since then that I have not checked in here.

I was looking for some logical/rational news and political commentary – and boy did I find it here in spades; both Sundance and crew as well as those who post.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?
Sundance and crew offer the best – yes the absolute best – in political analysis with a kindness to those who comment. Posts here are thoughtful, timely and often written with a great sense of humor. I so appreciate how these folks and their links allow me to catch up on news from many sites that I might not otherwise see.

December 2014 the Jessica Chambers murder. Another article linked back to this site and that’s how I found the Treehouse. I was hooked on the discussion and search for truth and the kindness of the people that gathered here.
I started coming to CTH in the fall of 2015 because I was looking for a more accurate reflection of the Republican primaries than was available elsewhere. I kept seeing a reference to CTH in comments at Breitbart. One day I decided to come take a peek. I knew things were amiss in D.C. and with the “elites” of our country but I was unsure how to take some of the info revealed here. So over the course of the fall of 2015 I would check in periodically and somewhere along the line I decided to perch on branch and have stayed, all be it, silently since at least December 2015.
First and foremost, it was the economic content that really made sense to me. Then it was the breakdown of the fake polls. Ultimately, it was the people who kept me intrigued. The responses were heartfelt, intelligent, and the focus on spiritual matters hit home with me.
I am grateful for all that Sundance has given to us and to this site and I am grateful for my fellow Treepers.

it is the first i go to for news…every day i scroll thru the daily thread and keep up with what is really going on.
Trump doesnt get treated fairly any where.
but here….truth…honesty…filters out the crap and i feel like i’m hearing the straight dope.

I also worked as a janitor when I needed money and a job.
Along with jobs cleaning up after cows.
And probably a worse job cleaning up dried human sewage waste. (USS had a deal with the local government to treat sewage. At the end of the cycle they dried it into a sludge. Which we shoveled out of their drying house and piled it where USS could bulldoze it over near the river so the next flood would carry it away.
Hunger and cold are tough masters and I’ve taken jobs just so I would eat and put a roof over my head.
I discovered The Treehouse while reading American Thinker & an article referenced Sundance & CTH. I don’t recall the exact article but at the time, Benghazi was all in the news still. The Benghazi Brief, written by our fearless leader Sundance was referred to. I was curious & flew over to find & read The Brief. It exhausted me, made me angry, & I wept for my country. I have never been a Hillary fan but when I finished reading The Brief, what blinders had been on were fully ripped off and I saw the corruption that I KNEW was there exposed in all its dirtiness. I had a difficult time grappling with the manipulation that took place and have despised Hillary & Obama & that administration for the great harm that was done to our military etc etc. I could go on but my blood pressure is beginning to rise. After that, I became a frequent reader. About 2015-after the 2014 midterms-I found my permanent perch here. I discovered I was not the only person who thinks this way about politics & our country. This site has become my forever home. I site CTH & Sundance all the time & have encouraged others to read here. It is THE best website for behind the curtains going ons that affect not just our nation but the world. Thank you Sundance & team for these many enlightening years. Where you go, I shall indeed follow.
My path to the tree house came through the Zimmerman trial, but the thing that made me a regular was the phenomenal commentary on the Trump economic philosophy.
The fundamental common sense strategy associated with economic security is national security has always seemed so clearly obvious from my seat in the stands. However, the clarity with which Sundance articulates the rationale for the Trump doctrine is reminiscent of the Great Paul Harvey.
I have really enjoyed having the ability to explain to those I converse with the “why” behind the various policy initiatives of the Trump era. In addition, the exposure of the political marionette strings has been the most eye opening part of if my education at the treehouse. While the truth of the level of corruption has been a sobering jolt to my sense of justice in America, I believe my perspective as a citizen is now much more aligned with reality rather than the blissful belief that what happens in Washington does not impact my life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Sadly, it is now crystal clear to me that there are very few patriots currently within our government and our system of justice is no longer based on a single set of rules.
However, the first step to change is becoming aware that there is a problem. With the insightful analysis presented by the Conservative Treehouse, my eyes are fully open and the deception is now easily seen. Thank you Sundance. You impact is prodigious.

I discovered the CTH through a link when I was trying to find out more about Trayvon Martin. I stuck around because for the first time I was reading information that made sense to me. Sundance filled in the missing pieces left out by the MSM. Since then, I visit this site several times a day to get the truth without an agenda!

Ended up at CTH during Michel Brown/Ferguson bs. Account and links to the site kept showing up by different accounts that I was reading and was impressed with the research and information posted from this community. As time went on the site just became one of my default news sites and I truly enjoy it. I’ve only every posted a couple of times before I think it was back in 2016 just not my thing but couldn’t pass on this opportunity to say thank you and god bless all of you.
It was a very good friend who directed me to the Treehouse. It was right around the time of the 2016 election. I realized just how much I could learn from Sundance’s posts and others commentaries. It was so nice to see actual video and full transcripts of President Trump’s speeches and not just selected soundbites that are often taken out of context by the MSM. I also enjoy viewing presentations by the cabinet members as well.
I have always felt that the purpose of the Treehouse was to present facts and honest analysis, then let us discuss and debate ideas. I like the way Treepers engage with one another ( although it seems lately there is a lot of name calling and less discussion from newer voices). I feel like I understand more about the economic side of things than I did before my education by Professor Sundance.
I hope to occupy a branch on The Treehouse 2.0. It is the news source I trust the most at this point in time.
I came across Treehouse through a search, around a year and a half ago, possibly my resistance to giving sites that look bloggy a chance held up my finding of it, but I found it and have been a daily follower ever since.
I went to liberal colleges. At one, I had a prof that made the class look at mainstream news the way I had always seen it; as a drama, swaying you to what the next fad would be, fear and separation leading their way. He also taught them to question all statistics, they can be made to explain what you want them to. Needless to say, after that affirmation I stayed away from all ‘news’.
I have a heart for our constitution, for actual focus on all lives matter (all -ist studies are far too narrow,) for laws upheld without loopholes, an idealistic hope truth will prevail. I don’t like labels, but if I were to generalize myself, I thought I was a left liberal, who just didn’t fit in completely; I’m a optimistic outlook, passive being.
My break from mainstream news as actual information went for about 15 years. Then these past 3 + years, I had to see what was being swung. MSM was so far from truth, from law, from the actual.
CTH was a breathe of fresh air to find. Intellectual comments, not fueled by hate, ( having the comments section still active in general,) in depth articles with actual documents visible, from actual authority sources. I don’t feel like you are told what to think, or how to think it, in the way Sundance presents the information. I dutifully read most all comments, so much great information is shared within this vast community.
I enjoy that news stories are not just getting added. But are introduced having what appears to be a period of vetting. ( I know regular old life interruptions are a cause as well. and BigTech annoyances.) I stick around because when I come to CTH I do not feel like someone ‘owns’ what is shared. But that someone, who has better attention to all that is going on, is sharing at the fastest speed they can, with publicly available viable sources. Alone searching, I could not keep up with all that gets shared here.
How did you find yourself a member of the CTH community? Before the 2016 election, I read WAPO faithfully. I loved Charles Krauthammer and was at least thankful for some conservative comment by Jennifer Rubin, et al. When Trump became the nominee and Krauthammer gone, WAPO was all of the sudden 100% anti-Trump and though I didn’t support Pres Trump until the third debate, I was disgusted by the biased media. After the election I saw CTH mentioned, checked it out, and was hooked by the analysis that was at least 95% accurate. The Big Ugly opened my eyes and I haven’t looked back.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value? Sundance’s research is amazing, but the comments, especially by long-timers, and the links to other articles have kept me here. I appreciate the diversity and the deep convictions of so many, especially faith convictions (I am Christian). Grandma Covfefe’s daily prayer post is amazing and I often just pray, “may it be!” The site is now virtually my only source for news, save justthenews.com. Thank you!! Can’t wait for the new site.
I’m a Canadian who, growing up, always loved America for no particular reason. Today I understand why I was right. For about a decade starting mid 90’s I did a lot of business travel to factories in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina and Kentucky making products from automotive glass to packaging pharmaceuticals.
Because our technology usually had to be adapted to suit existing production lines I worked with the people who were on the floor actually doing the work. That’s when I learned to love the people as well as the country,
I was mostly non-political until late 2007 – early 2008 (e.g. I had no problem with Hitlery as prez) when I heard a couple of Obammy speeches during the primaries. It was the first I’d heard of him but considered him a snake oil salesman with no chance.
When he got nominated I knew something was wrong, looked around and found people like Bill Whittle and Breitbart and my education began. When Andrew Breitbart died I started watching Fox regularly because Hannity was going to complete the exposure of Obama that had been started by Breitbart. (haven’t watched since election night)
After Mittens spit out the bit it was mostly confusion and frustration. I knew there was a lot I did not understand. Even when Trump announced I still didn’t get it. He was my last choice because I thought he couldn’t beat Hitlery and that was all that mattered to me. I was actually introduced to him by chance once in the early 90’s and he could not have been more gracious.
As the campaign progressed I realized he was the only one who could beat her and I’ve been on the train ever since. But I was still naive enough in the fall of 2017 to think that the whole Russia deal would end once the fact that Clinton had paid for the dossier and the whole Fusion GPS deal was revealed.
As it continued to heat up a good friend directed me to CTH around Christmas 2017. Finally things began to make sense.
I remember my first comment a few weeks in. The gist was that finally I had found a sanctuary of sanity with the best commentary anywhere.
I haven’t missed a day since that first day and reading Sundance has given me a much better understanding of how the world works. I’m not happy about all of it, but it’s better to know.
There is also a connective spirit among commenters here that makes me feel like I’m with friends.
So, my heartfelt thanks goes out to Sundance, Ad rem and all the Treepers. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I think it was through a recommendation in a comment at Breitbart during the 2016 election cycle.
What was it that brought you here?…
Some clarity on the mess of the 2016 election cycle. I’d been voting/politically active since voting in my first election in 1988 and had never seen a field like 2016. It felt weird and wrong and I knew there was something going on. Your roadmap explained it.
And why did you stick around with this group through whatever endeavors you found of value?
Because THIS is the America I grew up in. America, Apple Pie, John Wayne, Stand for the Pledge of Allegiance, Respect your elders. You all represent that to me.

I was also banned by Houston Chronicle/Disqus after I criticized Zero for refusing professional international assistance regarding the Deepwater Horizon incident.. purposely prolonging the environmental damage to the Gulf Coast Marine and Fisheries Industry and Ecosystem.. intentional destruction..
..it is what it is..
I have even seen the catastrophic damage of the “Dead Zone” in the Gulf of Mexico firsthand.. trudging knee deep in detritic sealife.. in an area of the sea totally void of any life.. an environmental disaster that continues to be swept under the rug..
it is caused by all the crap coming out of the Mississippi River.. America’s sewer line.. runoff.. a large part of this problem can be solved by providing an alternative organic based fertilizer.. I digress..
I had ran across CTH articles, which continued to provide a Common Sense approach that has been lost in modern journalism..
And that’s the beauty of The Constitution.. Common Sense.. you don’t need ivy league paper to understand it because it is based in Natural Law..
That’s why The Constitution is so popular with The People.. and so hated by despots.. it provides the maximum chance for peace and prosperity for all.. not just for the few..

Like others have mentioned, I saw a link in the comment section of another site just after the 2016 election, I think it was Breibart. I was looking for a more realistic interpretation of the russian collusion hoax. Like plenty of others, I didn’t believe it for 30 seconds and knew it was a political hit job from the start and once here found a whole lot more than I ever would have imagined. I’ve come here every day since.
And why did you stick around with this group…
I thought about this for a while and what popped into my head was what happened to me in 2002. During the summer of that year i came across a message board and to make a long story short i joined in, had a great time and met some great people. The name of the board was BBChatter or KEITHX (my name was “st”, just in case anyone remembers this) and we talked about everything but politics and religion. Anyway, several months into this i was sent a private message and asked to join some of the same people on a smaller, more private message board called Naughty Bits. So, I followed the link to this other board and was totally shocked to see these same people talking about politics, but posting with more anger and vicious hatred than i thought existed in man. They hated George Bush, they hated NASCAR and they would all join in these long threads, sometimes pages long expressing their venomous hatred for conservatives and how stupid they were. I lurked there for a little while because it was so shocking and it was also then that i realized i was definitely not a liberal and i did not and could not agree with much of anything there were saying. Over the next couple years i would go back occasionally and witness a little more of it just to remind me. Anyway, from that point on in my life i knew that there were very real people who lived here, but hated our country, a lot of it’s people and everything it stands for.
The first thing i did when i got here was I read an article, the second was I read a bunch of comments to see who you people were and what you were thinking. I’ve been happy here ever since.
I found CTH in 2014. Had been looking for information on the Jessica Chambers murder. It was quite astounding going from “regular news” to the information found here. The research from Sundance and CTH community/family was and is always impressive. I enjoyed the whole campaign of our President, it was nice to go through it with like minded people. The brady bunch boxes was a favorite. When the Parkland murders happened and Sundance posted how he had warned them years earlier, it intrigued me to check out the archives. I have learned so much and will be forever grateful to Sundance for his truth, knowledge and dedication. My son gets really irritated with me because every time a new article is posted, I always say “How does Sundance know all of this, who does he know, where is he getting his info” I don’t care if that is ever revealed, I’m just so glad to be here. And will be happy to be at our new home. 🙂 Thank You !!
I believe I clicked on a link to CTH during the Trayvon Martin case. I found the fact based analysis to be honest, convincing, and clear eyed and the level of objective and persistent investigative journalism to be unmatched. Throughout the BHO years of scandals hidden and covered up and spun by the corporatist and globalist media, CTH has been a safe harbor for patriots seeking truth in a sea of lies. And of course during the last 4 years of the attempted coup culminating in the massive electoral fraud, CTH is the place where Sundance and our band of patriots can best discuss the lay of the land and the real stakes in the battle for the soul of America.. The community of God fearing patriots here helps me realize that I am not alone in my observations and concerns regarding the growing deep state and globalist threat to our Republic and in my resolve to fight the forces inimical to our freedom. It is an honor to be part of this community of good and decent men and women who understand the material and spiritual battle in which we are engaged.
I kept seeing and hearing the comment, “hat tip Sundance” or “hat tip Conservative Treehouse,” and found the website thereafter. It’s the big daddy i like to save for after work to find the inside baseball types of analysis. I don’t leave so many comments. Just really dig the ideas being presented. I’ve referred a few friends here, telling them it’s where to get the early skinny on tomorrow’s news and that Sundance can keep a mean timeline.

Postings and articles linked during Zimmerman affair were the absolute best available… and quality comments and digs were unequaled at the time. You/We still have only occasionally “peer-like” competition. Became a daily reader from the laydown of the 2016 election strategy forward.
When we are at our best, nothing matches CTH and commenters here.
I was linked here from another site. I read the article and then started to read the replies. I was impressed with the detail and knowledge that was being shared. As time went on, the research and analysis within the articles were proven out to be accurate. Sundance earned a level of trust not earned on any other site I’ve visited. Many of the posters here are knowledgeable in disciplines that help to bring clarity to topics.
This site often is weeks or months ahead of everyone else while maintaining an accuracy that’s unmatched by other sites.
I will grade a site on whether or not they allow replies to their articles and the ease of being able to post to the site. My thinking is if they don’t allow replies, they are an agenda driven hack. If they ask for too much personal information up front before allowing a person to post, then they are a data collection site that can’t be trusted. If they allow replies to their articles to be easily posted with a minimum degree of intrusion, then they are open to discussion and a free exchange of ideas. My experience with TCTH has been that there’s a free and open exchange of ideas on quality articles.
My answers to the first two questions is pretty much the same. My quest for indepth and credible information about BHO’s past began before 2012 which, eventually, led me to many interesting sources, including the CTH. I have continued to follow the CTH because I have full confidence that your research and information provided is reliable.
I first visited the CTH just after President Trump won the GOP nomination in 2016. I did so after seeing multiple Sundance comments quoted by other people over time in Yahoo news comments under various articles covering the election. One of them provided a link to a Sundance post which I then followed to CTH and I read my first, full Sundance post. After reading the piece I was intrigued and subsequently began reading previous posts, including the comments section. It quickly became apparent to me that CTH and it’s community of commenters provided the kind of insight, analysis, and commentary that could not be found anywhere else that I knew of then or now. I have been a daily visitor ever since.
Simple. I remain a daily visitor to CTH because of Sundance’s writing style and analysis. One of the many things I appreciate about Sundance is how he follows and repeatedly posts on very distinct veins of news and information in his analysis, such as President Trump’s economic policies, while regularly referencing older posts within them. Importantly, he provides links to underlying documents and news references which ties into his analysis. Very quickly, a reader can develop a continuity of thought and understanding of Sundance’s beliefs and perspective regarding various topics, which are often related to one another. For example, his previous focus on corrupt Broward County politics in FL is easily linked to the same in DC, mainly because Sundance does an excellent job in focusing on methods and sources. Turns out the means and method of control and influence are mostly the same whether inside of a county or across a nation.
Overall, I credit Sundance and CTH with awakening me to the realities of the “uniparty” in Washington and America, how DC really works, the existence of the Deep State (ie. shadow government), how/why President Trump is attacking it, and how/why it is attacking him. I feel Sundance’s perspective is, on the whole, accurate and truthful. To quote a phrase used frequently here, “once you see it you cannot unsee it”. The best and most current example of this is the “coming out” of Fox News, how it “called” election night, and why Fox News is no longer any different from other corporate media outlets such as CNN. There are dozens of other examples, and the passage of time and outcome of events has convinced me of the validity of Sundance’s analysis and perspective.
I now see and know the foreign and domestic enemies of our Republic, as well as the war they are currently, and long have been, waging upon America and our Constitution. I am a firm, dedicated, and committed supporter of President Trump and his MAGA-centric foreign and domestic policies…NOT the Republican or Democrat parties. I am an American patriot and Constitutional originalist. I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. I do solemnly affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the now and re-elected President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.
Those in positions of power and influence should seriously consider what this means, because I am 80 MILLION+ strong, and we have never been more awake and aware than we are today. We will no longer be swayed, we will no longer be lied to, we will no longer be coerced, we will no longer be threatened, we will no longer be defrauded, and we WILL demand justice and accountability from the traitors, seditionists, and enemies who have made war upon us, our families, and our Republic.
So help us God.
I honestly don’t remember how I found this place. It may have been during the Trayvon Martin case. I’ve always enjoyed the in depth analysis in Sundance’s articles. Where as most media outlets want you to just skim the surface, look at just the stuff they point out, Conservative Treehouse always encourages you to dig deeper. It’s a refreshing change of pace from most websites.
As for whether you should make a quiet wave goodbye or go out with a statement, I’m a statement kind of person. I’ve always been on the rebellious side. Give them a giant middle finger on the way out.
I can’t remember exactly, but it was probably around the early days of the Treehouse (2010-2011). I had my regular sites I visited for real news and analysis. I was getting frustrated after discovering inaccuracies, flat out lies, or obvious agendas.
It was ‘The Right Scoop’ website that had a link to the Treehouse. I was hooked immediately by the site layout, the writing style, the honesty, and the comment section. I’m a shy person. I’ve only actually posted maybe one or two comments. But I would read the posts and comments every day.
I eventually dropped the other websites and became a Treeper. After years of source documents by Sundance with his own analysis, I no longer trust any other news/blog site. Once I started using Twitter, The Conservative Treehouse was my way of fact checking others. It’s the only place online where I truly feel at home.
I know 2.0 will be bigger and better. But it makes me sad to see The Treehouse go.
I am angry with all the censorship going on right now, yes it’s Cold Anger, but I say go out with a bang……. while giving them all the middle finger. We are stronger than ever before! Thanks to Sundance!
