Drive by two polling places in urban sections of northern Virginia. The first one was a school near a military complex about 1:30pm. People were present, but didn’t see any line formed (about 60 degrees and sunny here).
The second was another school that I passed around 11 a.m. and again at 3 p.m. Saw a handful of people, but didn’t see a line any time (and the check-in area is visible from the street). Did see a group of people posing and taking pictures with big smiles by the Trump/Pence table.
Florida, Jacksonville, Monument Road area here. My voting place is on Lee Road. Voted between 1&2 PM. No lines, was in and out in 10 minutes or less. Steady flow of Trump voters going in and out. The lack of lines was due to the time I voted, and the fact most of the Dims voted by mail. So the people voting today are mostly pro President Trump ????. I believe the demonrats will be screaming at the sky tonight ?. As usual, they will be wasting their time, they do not understand God is not listening to them ?.

I think that the West stupidly decided that the Middle East and Africa were ready for Western style democracy. That couldn’t be further from the truth. I have to share this story in response. My wife and I returned from 2 weeks in Florida last Friday to find our cable was out. I was annoyed but she was not at all happy because it was solely incompetance, again, of a cable employee who cut the wrong service. Anyway, they said “Sunday night at 6” to repair which didn’t sit well. On Saturday morning they call and say how about 10 am today. I said fine. A young man from the Congo shows up and is a perfect employee. As we are talking he apoligizes for acting “goofy” in the truck before he got out which I hadn’t noticed. He said he was Facetiming his mom in the Congo and that it was the first time she had seen him (other than sent pics) since 2012. I told my wife the story and she said “I guess I shouldn’t complain about cable.” A great re-centering moment as is the Nigernian video. Godspeed all.

Central Arizona mountain community here… we personally voted early, absentee, drop-off box, all confirmed. BUT… drove by a local church polling place around 11 am, just to see how things looked. It was VERY busy, and this is a predominantly conservative community. #ArizonaRedWave

Payson. Live in Strawberry, but made the trip into town just to see what it looked like. The parking lot at the polling place in Pine (also a church) was about half full, but there wasn’t a line outside like there was in Payson. Big difference, though, in population… about 2000 compared to 20K. They had guys out in the street directing traffic in and out of the church parking lot.
Based on what I use for indicators. The only way Trump loses this is if he doesn’t show-up.

I live in reliably Republican Oklahoma.
My wife and I just finished lunch w/ three mid-60’s normally Democrat voting friends. Our conversation turned to today’s voting events and confirmed a month prior discussion w/ these same three friends. They all confirmed that for this election they had all come to the same decision; a vote for President Trump as an act of self preservation.
Under normal conditions this would be cause for a mini celebration but the more interesting part is a follows, they were all lifelong Democrats; two of which had switched to Republican and one having gone Independent.
Maybe it means something may not but it sure got my attention.
Voted 7:40 am here in Metrowest Boston area. No line then, but overheard poll workers who were shocked to have so many people in the AM. Must have been a line at 7 am. I was voter #111 at 40 min in. Normally, sounds like they get 60 in the 1st hour.

They closed on their house the day after Thanksgiving 2018. We have had spirited discussions about politics and he is extremely up to speed on even deep Treehouse stuff so I was amazed when he disclosed to me that has never voted in his entire life. A couple weeks ago we were chatting and I was giving him a hard time about not voting and he was still not planning on voting. Had three more conversations over the past couple weeks with him encouraging him to ride the wave with us. He was still not planning on voting.
Fast forward to 45 minutes ago…knock on my door….
Neighbor: “Hey, where is our voting location”
Me: “Hop in my car and let me take you there”

In ID you can register the day of but it is a provisional ballot and not immediately counted. Had him bring his Passport, license and utility bill just in case. He was in and out in 15 minutes. A couple hours earlier my wife and I got in and out in 10 minutes. WOOT!

Ground report for rural, central OK: The line was at least 7 times longer than I have EVER seen it, wrapping around the overflowing parking lot. Everyone was downright jovial about the novelty of standing in such a long voting line. One fellow American said it was his third time driving by before he found a spot on the grass and got in line. The line had gotten HALF as long as it was when he first drove by! Poll worker said they were already on their last roll of “I Voted” stickers so me and Hubby shared one. Fantastic “Let’s get this party started!” atmosphere!!!!

Lancaster, PA. Rural/suburban area – Arrived before 7 AM – no parking spaces left at the medium sized church and the line of people stretched to the road. Took about a half hour to get in to vote. Every one was calm and pleasant. As I was leaving, an Amish horse and buggy was turning into the driveway. My father reported passing an Amish buggy with an American flag and a Trump flag on it as he headed home from the same location I was at.

My 22 year old who bailed on voting early yesterday because of long lines came back from camping to vote in person today. He was there around noon and said line had grown to 1 1/2 hours.

No big deal. But I have called the county court clerk’s office today twice–she was so helpful and polite.
Second question was …’how do I know my name won’t be used at other voting station’–we have only 3 in this county. I saw my name marked through when I presented address, photo ID.
The lady said that medium was connected to the other voting stations and when my ID is presented, it will show I voted already and will be arrested!!??!!!

My daughter has a Ph D in Political Science from an Ivy League School. She was raised by two very conservative and patriotic parents. Once she went away to grad school, she changed. This was a girl who would do yard sales to raise funds for pro-life organizations when she was a teenager. I knew she had turned more liberal over the yrs. She has all along refused to talk to me, (a retired physician) , about politics because, “Mom, it would be like me talking to you about heart disease. You just don’t know the facts.” Her conservative husband called me a few weeks ago to ask me to pray for her as he was fearful she was going to vote for Biden. Today she confirmed that she in fact did vote for Biden. When I asked her if she was still against abortion she said yes. When I asked her how she reconciled the two, she said “Mom, you don’t understand the facts. Trump’s policies have taken more total lives than all the lives lost with abortions.”
I was stunned! This is a very bright, God-fearing woman, who really believes this stuff! I asked her to show me the numbers she was talking about, but she said she didn’t have the time to round up all the numbers!
The brain-washing by her school is amazing! I am very saddened by this and just needed to share this as this is very hard to go through. In a sense I am grieving the loss of my daughter’s innocence.
She will come back around, you gave her a great foundation….be hopeful, she is just going through a phase, after kids, she will turn right back to the little girl you raised.
We have a daughter like that. She won an all expense paid education at a liberal university and changed tremendously after 4 years of nonstop indoctrination. On a brighter note, the rest of our offspring all all deeply conservative. I pray every morning and evening that God will touch her heart.

I was raised by truly apolitical parents for the most part; politics wasn’t even part of their lives. I went and got my Poli-Sci degrees and a minor in Classics from the UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO-BOULDER of all places! Guess what? I got all As! I came out a very well studied and informed conservative and am still to this day.
After graduation, I taught my parents including my dual PhD (from Ivy League) father the importance and rationality behind conservatism, and they are some of the most die-hard conservatives I know now.
I know what you are going through is tough and I have much empathy. Stories like yours is why I will do all I can to prevent my boys from ever going to any type of liberal arts campus like I did. I hope to start a small business soon to be able to pass on to them, or simply have enough wealth built up in the next 15 years they can use it do as they please (but not loaf, no , you don’t get cash to loaf around!). But fret not, you will have grand-children one day, if not already, and they will be yours politically (Especially with what sounds like a Dad with a good head on his shoulders you described there). Trust me on this. Grand-kids trust their grand-parents much more than their parents. You will be associated with the rebellion against mom, and you will have them. I believe it truly!

Hubby,younger son and I just voted in person in a brainwashed, deep deep blue area north of SF, as well as our older son and his wife in the Sac area — 5 votes to add to the popular vote!
The polling place was quiet,so much so that the election workers were excited to have us walk in, lol. I was only voter #40 after the polls had been open for almost 4 hours. Since we live in “special snowflake country”, as I call it, it may be due to early or mail-in voting from Covid fears, but I’m wondering if it’s at least partially due to lack of enthusiasm.
I’ve noticed something interesting in the last few weeks. While there are a few Biden/Harris signs out on our upscale dead end street (we’re the “poor kids on the block”, lol), driving through the neighborhoods down the hill and around town, I have not seen *any*! Instead, I’ve been seeing a sprinkling of American flags flying, in an area where patriotism, or any deviation from the progressive narrative, is considered “unenlightened” if not overtly scorned.
Also, the trailhead for a popular trail is nearby, and normally I see a lot of cars with bumper stickers — lots of “O” stickers in ’08 and ’12, and lots of “I’m with Her” or “Bernie” stickers in ’16. This year, not a single Biden bumper sticker to be seen — there, or anywhere. I did see 1 on a car on the freeway a couple of weeks ago, but that’s it. Hopefully, that translates into a lack of enthusiasm rather than just Covid snowflake issues.
Another point of interest — our younger son was really surprised that security had advised the stores in the area where he works to board up windows, etc., because of threats of potential violence. We are in an area that is usually not affected by protests etc.
I used to live in the East Bay.
In 2012, in the general area where I lived, there were almost no Obama signs anywhere–lawns, bumper stickers, etc.–until he won. Then they came out like mushrooms after a storm.

I commented earlier about what was happening in Raleigh, NC. The local news just announced that Mecklingburg County, where Charlotte is located, had problems with polling stations opening late this morning. So the state is allowing them to stay open later than 7:00 pm EST.

Just dropped off all the ballots of the members of my immediate household here in UT. I’m a 4/4 “super voter” but 3 others are first-time voters.
Some Biden signs have been up in my suburban neighborhood for weeks now. As I drove down the street I noticed several new Trump signs posted on houses and in yards. Cars with Trump flags driving down the street.
There was no traffic at the drive-thru drop-off location at 12:30PM. City hall for in-person votes seemed like it had some activity but if any, minimal.

As i said before, I’m at my sister’s house across from the schoolgym where voting is taking place.
It’s slowed down. Maybe one voter every 3 or 4 minutes. Parents in line to pick up kids when scool gets out at 3:30. A lot are getting out and going to vote.

Complicit is to be involved with an illicit or illegal act. And I don’t think there’s much to worry about from Trump supporter in that regard.

BREAKING: Reports on the ground show voter traffic in battleground North Carolina — and even blue Virginia — is “slow in urban areas” and “heavy in rural areas,” a positive sign for Trump.
I have thought that maybe city folks can’t bring themselves to vote for Trump, but don’t want to vote for Biden. Sitting this one out. I call that a half vote for Trump.
The liberals keep screaming about riots in the cities. Who wants to stick around for that? I think the residents are long gone, especially the limo liberals. The ENEmedia shot itself in the foot on that one!
THese will be the folks who early voted also. So the D’s blew their load already.
I think this is the biggest factor. The Ds are more likely to be fearful of the Wu Flu too, so I doubt they’re going to come out for some late afternoon/evening voting.
I have a lefty friend in NYC who despises Trump but doesn’t like Biden so is sitting this one out. That works for me. (Not sure I wouldn’t have done the same thing in 2016 had it been Jeb vs Hillary.
My little rural county in Virginia had LINES this morning and again at lunchtime. We never have lines. Have never had to wait for more than 4 or 5 people. 🙂

Early and Absentee ballots by Party: 37.4% (D) , 31.7% (R) & 30.3% (I).
Early and Absentee ballots returned total 96% of 4,77 million total ballots cast in 2016.
2,773,534 remaining eligible to vote on Nov. 3rd.
I’m in rural NC and in talking to election reps about what appeared to be a low turnout, I learned that in my county 65% of registered voters voted early.
