One of the best ways to identify what’s going on in any area is a ground report from the people most familiar with it, that’s YOU. If you are voting today perhaps you would consider sharing a ground report from your town, city, neighborhood or voting precinct.
How’s the turnout? Any issues or concerns? What’s the overall climate amid your voting locales? Please feel free to share your personal perspectives in the comment section along with any links to any information you feel might be valuable or interesting.

Trump 2020! MAGA
Wherever she’s voting, I want to move there. Sorry… I may be happily married, but I ain’t dead.
She must be pointing ‘there’ for the benefit of the ladies. We men don’t need any prompting… 😉
Here in Ohio’s Amish country, just talking with a client. Amish businessman and his wife, 30 or so. Both voted this morning for the first time. Lot’s of that happening here.
Where is everyone? I was on earlier and there were hundreds of comments. I just returned and there were none! What happened?
This is a new thread.
This is a new thread, the third (?) election-relatied one today. Check the earlier ones for hundreds of replies.
New thread
This is a new thread, the old one is still there. Sundance will be starting a new thread every couple or so hours for ground reports. He did that last time.
Thanks. For a moment I thought the Censorship Squad had attacked!
LOL!
Nope. Just collecting names and emails for now.
Reporting from the downtown area of the Peoples Republic of Chicago:
All the polling locations are virtually empty — more workers than voters. I heard this from several friends and saw it for myself at my precinct location in Merchandise Mart (ward 42). I voted just before 11am and was voter #75. Normally I’d expect to be around #200 at that time.
I think this is a sign of two things: (1) a bit more early voting / vote-by-mail this year due to all the covid hysteria, and (2) a shortage of enthusiasm to cast votes for Sleepy Joe. Hopefully more of the latter.
MAGA!
I suspect that area is also heavily Democrat so…. 🙂 If the enthusiasm we saw at Biden rallies is any indication of voter turnout? Then it makes a lot of sense.
And why not? It also makes sense that people who are willing to depend on the government for everything else is going to be more willing to let the government vote on their behalf right?
Very slow here in south Miami Dade Democrat precinct . Low turnout here is good for us . Poll watching. Everything smooth . Praying for the Holy Angels to rebuke mightily all efforts to steal the vote .
St Michael the Archangel defend us in Battle ! Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snare of the devil . May God rebuke him , we humbly pray , and do thou o prince of the heavenly host , cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits , which prowl about the earth seeking the ruin of souls!
In Jesus name, Amen ??????
Amen!
Way downstate, I waited in a short line for the 1st time ever.
reply intended for Swanzinator. Downstate Illinois, or Madiganistan as we call it.
Medina County, Ohio My 18 year old son and I got back from voting, this is his first election in person. He did participate in the primary via mail during the pandemic. Went to the fairgrounds, our usual voting place. Easy in and out. No line. My husband voted their early this morning before work without a line either. Medina County Board of Elections had steady very long lines for their entire early voting period, starting Oct 6. Today we are broken up into our own precincts. I think the bulk of the county voted before today, just based on the early voting lines. I talked to one of the GOP people outside, asked how the turnout has been today, he said pretty steady.
I just checked in with my mother in law in Broadview Heights, Cuyahoga County, they have them all going to one place there and she is in a two hour line.
I hope that the bulk of what is coming out today are Republican voters, who typically vote on election day. Plus, the Dems probably mostly voted by mail due to fear of COVID.
*voted there
This is the first national election for my 20-year-old son and his girlfriend. Both voted in Northern VA (one in Prince William County, the other Loudon County) and both for TRUMP!!
Just voted in Laguna Niguel, CA. No line. No waiting. In and out in six minutes. MAGA! Let’s Roll America!
Howdy neighbor!
My wife and I vigorously voted in Aliso Viejo last night. LOL!!!
This is a new post. The 2 pm update on ground reports.
Voted over a week ago in GA. Thank you all for the reports today.
Expecting a big red wave! Way over 300 electoral votes.
I live in W Broward County (the most liberal bastion in FL) and have checked on my polling location twice so far and there is no one in line. None at 9am and none at 2pm.
Look for poll watcher’s car trunk that’s where the votes usually are but aren’t found until polls close and they know how many votes are needed. Then they generally split it with Dade County.
Forty-Five wins Forty-Five States. That’s my gut, or maybe my heart.
God Bless our President
God Bless our country.
I think it will require much less math, to tally the States for Biden, than the States for Trump.
Even Joe will be able to do it, one handed, lol.
Seriously, today will be the shot heard around the World.
Hoping to see one more record, beating previous electoral landslide victories, and popular vote as well.
Instead of “Rock the vote” its gonna be
SHOCK the vote!
Shock and Awe!!
Ooh, I like that, Shock and awe!
The voting machine is broken multiple red locations in PA including Scarnton. They are asking to give ballot and they will process later.
maybe you can call one of the above numbers given by SD to report this?
Definitely needs to be reported!! Pennsylvania is going ALL IN on the fraud this time around!!
Do NOT – under ANY circumstances – provide them a ballot to “process” later.
Wait.
Contact the various places this stuff is meant to be reported to, and do it there, in front of them.
DO NOT let someone else process your vote!!!
Went to vote this morning. HUGE lines. And in my area, there are MANY polling locations and they were ALL filled with people waiting in lines. I decided to be clever — headed into work and then come back just before lunch.
Care to guess what I found? HUGE LINES. It NEVER STOPPED! So I relented and got in line. The pace wasn’t great but it was acceptable. The ballots were created by the voting machine and they created printed (human readable) and coded (machine readable) cards which were then carried over by the voter to a single card reader which checked it for errors and then filed the cards away. BEST voting process I’ve seen. I don’t see much room for mistake there unless it’s within the machine-readable portion of the output. The voting terminals themselves do not tabulate the votes so there’s not much to go wrong there. But then again, I would need multiple ballot cards to connect the encoded information with the human readable information.
All things said, I have a high expectation of accuracy from these votes.
And of course, in conversations with people waiting in line, it’s a pretty “red” crowd but in terms of voters and in terms of election staff/volunteers.
But the over-all turn-out is astounding for this election. And I sense it is “defensive” voting in support of this president. They don’t want him voted out of office. Perhaps some of this is projection, but that’s the kind of feel I got from the crowd I was in.
Great report but, what area?
Lancaster County, South Carolina
Daniel where was this?????????
Liked your reply now trying to get Duck Duck Go to work. Chrome & Safari is not letting me stay logged in
There were good YouTube videos of how the manipulation of tiny percentages in voting machines can throw elections, but I cannot find them today. Here are some others.
I’m more than familiar with various voting machines and schemes. This is why I went into detail about the process. It’s very paper-focused. If there was a “problem” it would be in the car reader. There is an air-gap between the ballot reader and the voting machine. Good stuff that. It virtually eliminates issues (tampering) on the card printing machine. I say virtually because, as I pointed out, I have no way of verifying the encoded values (which the counting machine reads) are equal to the human readable values (text characters).
I’ve gone in deep with voting machine scandals since Diebold back in the early 1990s.
Don’t go to Breitbart. Just a bunch of hysteria and scare headlines. They are getting to be as bad as drudge. Pitiful.
I heard some location In Philly, they are asking to fill new ballot who want to just drop mail in ballot. Double dip counting.
At 7 am in Firestone Park, Akron, there was the longest line I’ve ever seen, though it moved fast — got through it all in about 45 minutes. Most of the line was quiet, some small talk but nothing political aside from people hoping we don’t have to wait until January to find out who was elected.
No one in line here in NorCal small town. Chances are Trumpers already voted and dems don’t know it is election day. They are still waiting for Biden to campaign.
Come on Sundance…how can I responsibly report something when I’m so damn distracted by the doll in the MAGA hat. Oops… sorry, showing my chauvinistic side. Oh well, mama raised a boy.
Oh, yeah, 1st district in the Old Dominion will definitely go to our POTUS and straight ‘R’.
Sic semper tyrannis!

LOL! Listen to his voice! He EARNED it! That man did more than the average 20-something year old in terms of travel and speaking! That guy just CAN’T be stopped! He is amazing. Human but amazing!
I’m so pumped! They set up their HQ in the building where I work! Wahoo!
Southern Indiana is Trump country. No lines at my small precinct although vote count was a little higher than usual. I voted straight gop ticket on a paper ballot and inserted ballot into scanner myself and watched the digital counter register my vote. MAGA!
We had new machines this time here in Medina county, Ohio. It was a paper ballot inserted into an electronic machine, we selected on screen, it printed the ballot. Then we take the paper ballot to another machine and insert it. I wonder if it’s the same kind of machine.
Before we had a voting card we inserted, and then it printed alongside the machine when we “casted out ballot” but we did not take the paper out, it stayed inside.
*casted our ballot
Man, my typos!
Loudoun County, Democrats are worried about something. There are multiple people taking video of vehicles that drive by the entrances, and they are comparing notes as to whether this is the same vehicle or a different one. I saw on of them take his phone inside, to the cafeteria where Democrats were stationed.
Central Coast Oregon. we dropped our votes in box (not permtted to vote in person) Oct. 20. Usually only one at drop box. Oct 20 two cars ahead of ours. first car dropped in a ballot, second car masked male out of car dropping in a stack of ballots. ballot box different this year with narrow slit allowing only one envelope at a time. There is now a “helper” posted at the box.
Grocery run to Newport Friday saw skinny white man wearing black lives matter hoodie. Rouge restaurant on bayfront with black lives matter poster. BLM thugs in Springfield try to prevent voters for Alek. Portland boarded up for more antifa peaceful protests at 5 pm today. They will dress as Proud Boys. Mayor Wheeler says to expect proud boys violence.
sure hope Alek beats de fasio.
Wheeler is an idiot. It’s too bad he didn’t have a quality opponent in the mayoral election. Of course the violence has been due to his antifa and BLM thugs. “Proud boys” might throw punches when attacked by the thugs but aren’t breaking windows at midnight like Wheeler’s gang.

Dammit it won’t keep me logged in with Chrome or Safari
Sign in on Word press app and select stay signed in. Then try on safari. That works for me and keeps me signed in.
I replaced Chrome with Slimjet (very similar) to cut down on my info being sold. Once I sign in, I’m good unless I close the tab.

Looks to me like the Dim-0-crats have shot their wad prematurely..
At the poll I’m watching today, so far between early vote and today’s voters, we’ve hit a 60% turn out with just under 7 hours to go before the polls close.
There have been 5 names that voters have reported as deceased – neighbors, friends, family – 2 of them deceased for 5 years now. Our voter rolls are still not clean.
One challenge so far all day, upheld, person could not vote. By golly, they left and came back with someone from the state on the phone, wasted effort, they could not vote. Haven’t had another attempt since.
Steady trickle over the last two hours. Poll workers anticipate a large late turnout. At least it will make the 5-8pm stretch go quickly.
The precinct results will be posted on the door before we leave, I’ll snap a pic.
Voted in Manhattan today. I know that a red NY state is surely a long shot but wanted to at least help with the popular vote count. Walked in at 11am, people around but not too crowded and no line at all. Went to the table of my precinct to get a ballot and was surprised that I seemed to be only the 22nd voter today (from this precinct). Could possibly signal low enthusiasm for Biden? Was thanked 3 different times for voting by the smiling poll workers, wonder if they would still be smiling if they saw my ballot, LOL.
In NYC mainly TRUMP district. Long lines. But moving. Less than 20 min. Most here are registered Dems for various reasons but vote Trump.
Thanks for the help with the popular vote!
Commie propaganda has sure taken a toll, it wasn’t that long ago Giuliani was mayor.
Gibson, I THINK you misspoke, er misppsted?
Blue is Dem, RED (Retire Every Democrat) is US.
I may be engaging in wishful thinking, but I think NYS, which normally goes BLUE, only because of the city, COULD go RED this time.
And your post does nothing to discourage my hopes. Thanks for the report.
Dutchman, yes, I meant that this normally deep blue state has only a small chance of turning red, but here’s hoping …
Still great energy and positivity here in rural NE Georgia. Lots of interaction that is not the usual—wearing Trump hats etc. engenders others saying encouraging things to each other.
This is us out and about:
?dl=0
Nice ride!
Is that a 1956 Chevrolet? It’s a beauty. My dad was a small town Chevy dealer, so I remember those cars with great affection.
Thanks for voting!
1955 210–everything underneath is modern—engine, transmission, power rack/pinion steering, power disc brakes, air conditioning, blue tooth stereo, wiring, led lighting etc. ?
Woohoo nice
We got in line ahead of the poll opening in suburban Birmingham, AL this morning. It was a large crowd of hundreds on the coldest morning of the season yet for Central Alabama. People seemed ready to vote, very intent. They were peaceable. The lady behind us commented that it was her first time to vote in the morning and she wasn’t used to standing in lines. She also expressed concern that she wanted to vote early rather than after work to avoid issues after dark and be indoors.
This is good news, yes? Will the networks hold off reporting Florida until after the panhandle closes or will they try to stop the Red Wave again just like they did in 2000? As Florida goes, so goes the country?
If more R’s vote than D’s, we win. Even factoring in some NeverTrumpers emerging from caves in the Philippines, we win. I bet there is some D crossover voting for Trump. Maybe not huge, but non-zero.
I think R voters have figured out that if we want to win, we have to show up this time. Last time was a bit of luck…Hillary was a lazy, entitled, drunkard…and she campaigned like it was in the bag. This time, we will not catch them napping and so we have to show up. All of us.
I’m presuming that 127K advantage includes early voting not just Election Day.
Call the election early because of a Trump win in Florida? That would contradict Dem strategy as commonly understood, thus I would not expect the media to pull that stunt — unless Trump crushes it in eastern states and the Dem-controlled media panics and tries to prevent a blowout in down ballot races in western states.
My guess is that the Dems will be hoist by their own petard.
No, I meant that the MSM might try to call Florida early for Biden like they did for Gore in 2000…to push a false narrative that Biden has the necessary EC votes to win, no matter what happens in the Midwest or Mountain Regions.
From the same twitter. Looks like my wildest dreams may be coming true. Voter enthusiasm among Dems is very, very low. And the fact that Democrats predominantly believe the garbage about COVID while Republican predominantly do not believe in it suggests the rigging of the election may well have “unintended consequences.”
Stick a fork in Biden. He’s done. That’s game set and match right there
Voted in deep blue Bethesda MD. No line, done in 20 minutes. There are fewer voting locations because of covid, so I thought it might be crowded, but no. Maybe there was a lot of mail in voting. Anyway, one more vote toward the popular vote total.
Thank you!
Same in Olney MD. No line. In and out quickly. Biden workers out front but there was a Trump supporter by the outside stairs. Avoided him on the way in but gave him a thumbs up on my way back to the car. He got so excited!
No Trump or Biden signs in my neighborhood. Just Neil Parrotte – who does NOT put Republican on his signs.
Voted in SoMD. Was in line 30 minutes before polls opened. I was probably number 250. Took a couple of hours, but worth it- like you said, goes toward the popular vote. When we were done voting, the line was twice as long. For what it’s worth, I did get 6 people to register this year- 6 more votes for our president!
Just passed my polling place, and line was just as long.
After the 4 year long Democrat temper tantrum, there is about to finally be a spanking.
Conservative women are so beautiful :3
Only mail in ballots in Washington State. Only Dems predicted to win, by MSM, except Sec of State. I don’t believe the MSM, so we will wait and see how big the Trump train is on the Left Coast. Most of the state (about 35 of the 39 counties) are red, but only Seattle (King County) needs to be blue for D to win, statewide. With a moron of epic proportions as our Governor – Jay Inslee- there is lots of hope for the R challenger, Loren Culp, to pull off a YUGE upset.
I’m on Whidbey Island (the north part that has a brain). I see a TON of Culp signs here. Please dear God let him kick that mask-loving moron out!!!
The North part with a brain……sounds like that statement excludes Coupeville?
The boomerang effect, on the shutdowns.
A vote for Trump, is a vote against lockdowns, and that, I THINK may push many voters “OUR” way, who otherwise wouldn’t have come over.
Poor Dems, they have “reverse midas touch syndrome”; everything they touch, turns to crap.
They have ‘played’ this election, and the electorate ALL wrong, while PDJT has played it beautifully.
Had a walk away tell me lockdown was deciding factor for him afraid Biden was gonna lockdown the nation again.
King County has roughly one-third of our state’s registered voters. What if the other two-thirds votes red — wouldn’t our votes outnumber KC?
fionnagh,
Yes, then add in 1/4 of registered Dems in King County voting Red, plus many who haven’t voted much, coming out for “us”;
Mark my words, there are NO “solidly blue” States this election.
Such an assumption is based on comparisons to previous elections. This despite the obvious reality that there is virtually NOTHING about this election, that is like previous election.
Long lines in Brooklyn. The religious Jews are waiting to vote.
Gee,. I wonder WHO they are voting for,…giggle.
Montgomerry County Pa. Long lines all day. About 100 people in line at 11:30. In 2016 There was no line.
Orange Beach, (Baldwin County) Alabama — huge voter turnout. We’re a small town and the polls are very busy.
Love Baldwin County
I passed by my polling station in Sacramento, CA this morning and the street parking was lined with MAGA cars and trucks. A good sign for my urban neighborhood. The city of Sacramento is typically blue, but the surrounding suburbs are VERY red. Let’s hope we can turn the city RED again and run off a few more Calicommies!
I am about a mile south of downtown.
Very few Biden signs, and the polling place down the street is packed.
Just back from voting in my smallish Hartford, CT suburb around 1:45 Eastern, during a break in meetings. I seemed to be one of the few adult males in the place, so hard to give a read. But my area has trended liberal for years.
The people outside holding Biden signs all wearing masks. The one older gentlemen holding an American Flag surrounded by Trump signs – NO MASK. Of course I walked over and commented that you could tell who the Trump voters were. When I walked in, I kept the mask off. They indicated to pull it up, and I say “it is encouraged, not required”. She reluctantly gave me my ballot.
On the positive front, prior experience is people who work vote early or vote late in the day. And I expect that older folks in our community have already voted via mail in or dropping off their ballots are Town Hall.
NY Congressional District 1 – Vocal Trump supporter Lee Zeldin’s seat.
Was very impressed with the improvements this year, everything was well organized – for the first time ever.
For verifying registration at arrival, the ridiculous old-fashioned, cumbersome voter rolls were replaced with smart screens. Very nice.
The crowd was bigger than in past years yet we were in and out quicker than ever before. Again, very nice.
The noticeable difference this year was the almost complete absence of elderly people – both electoral workers and voters. The poll workers have always been elderly, many have been neighbors, and mid-day voters (as opposed to early morning or evening voters) have in the past been almost all elderly/retirees. Not so this year.
I know even in my own family the elderly are afraid of the Chinese virus and all voted absentee ballot – but for Trump of course!
I feel good and you should too.
But PUH-LEEZ, if there’s anyone in your family or friends who need a kick in the ass to get their vote in after work, KICK THEM IN THE ASS. Every vote counts (even in blue states like NY, Ca, Mass & Illinois.
VOTE.
Treepers,
I previously reported in about my voting experience this am and the unprecedented turnout I witnessed in my NH town when polls opened at 7:00 am.
I was at work today in my “everyone in my office is a Marxist except for me office” and an employee announced that she had been slowed down getting to work by heavy traffic in my village that she has to drive through to get to our office.. She would have driven through my village about 10 minutes of 9:00, so that tells all of us that the pace of voting had not slackened in the hour and a half after I left the polls.
I’m going to swing by later and see how crowded it is.
I wouldn’t mind a couple of stickers like that!
Kalifornia – Central San Fernando Valley – local “Voting center” parking lot not full, no line visible at approx 11am PST. We voted last Friday in the evening – vote center was sparsely populated – more voting officials than voters. MAGA!
Here in Oregon all elections are mail-in so no lines, etc., to observe. I don’t expect President Trump to win but my hunch is he’ll get a much higher fraction of the total vs. 2016.
If he DOES win here that would be utterly astonishing. Won’t know until after 8PM (Pacific time) when they start counting votes.
Prepare to be astonished, maybe even gobsmacked. This is an election like none other.
Yes! Your words to God’s ear! I’m completely willing to be blown away by election results, especially if it goes the right way here in the People’s Republic of Portland.
Voted for Pres Trump and all the other Republicans today in NE Twin Cities MN suburb. Not too much of a wait. Poll worker said there was a long line when they opened but it went quick and traffic has been steady all day afterwards. They expect record voting levels in MN this election. Nothing funky happening there that I could see. MAGA/KAG!!!
Just voted in Saint Robert, MO. Much larger turnout than in 2017. Took about 1hour in line. Straight R ticket. Wife will be voting straight R shortly. No doubt about the Red Wave. It will be shock and awe by 9 PM. Only massive voter fraud an help them.
Tulsa, OK here. My voting location had about 100 people in line when I got there this morning just after the rush. It took about an hour to cast my ballot all for RED. I expect as the afternoon progresses people will leave work early and the lines will get longer progressing to 7 PM. Prayer groups are praying online all day and offline, too. Trump is my President.
Does this headline reek of democrat desperation (not to mention depravity) or what⁉️

Pennsylvania reports largest single-day spike in coronavirus cases
https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/524260-pennsylvania-reports-largest-single-day-spike-in-coronavirus-cases
Yes it sure does.
You just knew that was coming. Sundance and Rush both talked about this type of propaganda.
Good luck with that.
Voted in a completely (almost) red state in the South. Longest line of people at my semi-rural precinct I’ve ever seen in 50 years of voting. It took 45 minutes to get through the line. It appears the Republican vote is coming out in force and this in a state that is always Republican.
People here are taking nothing for granted.
And THAT is the attitude that we must continue to have!! The only way that the Left can steal the race is if it is close enough for them to cheat without getting caught. If the totals are so overwhelming that they can’t “find” enough ballots, then the President wins re-election in a landslide, IMHO!!
The man that lives a few doors from me took down his Biden yard sign a few days ago
Somebody woke up.
Wish I could say the same for my next door neighbor.
But my 7 GOP signs, including Trump/Pence 2020 are battling agaiinst her 5 Dem with Biden/Harris. She WAS a registered Republican so she flipped. It’s either her Akron U fiance’ or the fact she works for the Chinese.
She was never a Republican.
Just voted in Upper Macugie, PA / District (Allentown / Lehigh Valley) and was in and out in less than 10 mins.
My wife and friends waited in line 1 to 1 1/2 hours in the morning.
Upon checking in you name, address and signature was validated on an iPad. Voting as a paper ballot which then you put into the scanner, vs. the usual electronic voting machines.
On Obiden maroon was outside holding up a placard but he was pretty far out in the parking lot.
*District 1*
