I support PDJT but was disappointed he didn’t do better explaining his Covid policy….ie I did what Fauci, Birx advised…(that’s their jobs). And also explain the PPE shortage…..China nationalizing factories, embargoed supplies; reiterate he wants critical manufacturing back in the USA, states were responsible for their supplies, Obama depleted the strategic supplies and didn’t replace. And importantly, bring up the LTC deaths in NY, NJ, PA blue states.
Also, he could have cut Guthrie off by mentioning there are just as many studies/stats disproving the “masks work” strategy. States with strict masking are not faring better than those without.
How covid was managed is a very important topic with seniors, medical professionals.

The “we should be on the same side” answer on healthcare was a absolute home-run.
My husband was an excellent high school debater, attending clinics at Georgetown and Dartmouth, so I tend to pay attention to his opinion on these events.
I had the “town hall/ambush” set to record but couldn’t bring myself to watch it, so my husband viewed it while I cleaned the kitchen. I refused to sit down and watch, I am too nervous about this election, and the comments I read here confirmed my worst expectations.
He thought the President was doing quite well. Gentlemanly but knowledgeable and firm in his answers. He also remarked the NBC attack dog was rude, unlikeable and not effective, a marked contrast to President Trump. He said if it was being judged, PDJT won, hands down.
But I still don’t want to watch it. ?

I am just so worried about the country my 6 (soon to be 7) grandchildren will grow up in, so this feels extremely personal to me. I want them to experience the country I love, with the freedom and opportunities, along with the responsibility to be good citizens.

7 Democrats who voted for Hillary in 2016
2 Republicans, one who voted for Hillary
1 Independent who had voted for Hillary
