I have great respect for Andy McCarthy and still do, I have to disagree with him on this one. Out here in Red State America, we are really steamed over the corruption inside the DC bubble. They are fools to think we will permit their status quo to continue.
Steamed is a polite way of saying it. My parents are both in aerospace with whatever the level above Top Secret clearance is (I forget the term now). They’ve worked on all kinds of classified stuff and their customer is almost always the government, DOD, military, etc.

The treason statement, by example you hear Trump say it often. It’s being used as an expression of frustration, it’s not inaccurate in that sense. But from a legal standpoint, it’s almost a theoretically impossible bar. Unless you had something like proof of the DNC actually working for and with the Chinese in a collaborative effort.

Drop tech centers into the inner cities and the suburbs, and make classes affordable or grant-based, etc, partly sponsored by industry with a career path placement built-in. Then instead of sitting idle in despair, or protesting, they will have more options for a good future, companies will address the skilled employee shortage issue, without needing to import them from overseas, and the nation will grow strength at its core.

I can’t say that I disagree with the points made by Rich Lowry even if his article does come across as a Never Trumper kind of rant in a last ditch effort to ‘vote republican… any republican’. I have always understood this president, at least his direction, but I have many times been disappointed by his verbal delivery. During this campaign he points to all of the things he has accomplished but doesn’t allow himself even a moment to answer his supporting critics that he has walked back his support of the second amendment with his bump stock stance, failed to take business to task in the ongoing issue of hiring illegal immigrants and not taking on directly this issue of race and race relations in this country.
He has effectively silenced those on the right who vehemently foist on or constitution their religious views of homosexuality, because rightly, it is not a societal construct that should concern the constitution but he refuses to articulate the race baiting actions of leaders like Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan and groups like BLM and The New Black Panthers. He has had opportunity after opportunity to call out this bigotry and defend his comments at Charlottesville but he doesn’t seem conscience of his position behind the Bully Pulpit or is just incapable of explaining to the people his philosophy on this subject if he indeed has one. For this entire campaign and ad nausium in his rallies, he bullet points his past achievement but to my ear, has yet to say one word about the future other than ‘a vaccine is coming soon’. We still have no idea about DACA although I suspect that they as well as their extended families will get amnesty. We don’t hear much about a merit based immigration, anchor babies or chain migration and we certainly don’t hear anything about fiscal discipline.
President Trump’s base is sold; some in the independent ranks are being swayed, not by Trump but by the words and actions of Pelosi and BLM. While this president is moving us away from the direction that we have been steered for the last several decades and that is good, I have never felt that he had any kind of philosophical underpinning to his actions and therefore could not articulate to those beyond a group of people who know that regardless of his purpose or and genuine vision, much of what he is doing needs to be done.
I am as frustrated as the next about RussiaGate but little is likely to come forth in the next couple of weeks that will change a voters mind. Four more years and a change of leadership in many of his appointable(?) positions and a few positions controlled by aware Republican voters should give him all the leverage he needs to expose the criminals behind it, but for now, he needs to loudly tell us who he is, not allow the left to tell everyone who he is not.
