Earlier on Thursday evening it was announced that presidential advisor Hope Hicks had also tested positive. Prayers for Ms. Hicks, President Trump and Melania for a speedy recovery. The President’s physician released the following statement:

A positive Covid test could happen to any of us, at any time, until you’ve either “had it” or have an immune system so strong that the viral load never builds high enough for a positive. Just finished a great phone call with @POTUS

There is no “test” for COVID, it’s a disease characterized by fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc., caused by infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The virus can be detected with PCR testing, and any symptoms consistent with COVID will be assumed to be caused by the virus.
Brings up an interesting point – when influenza season starts, there will undoubtedly be thousands of flu cases who also have detectable levels of CoV2 in their bodies!

COS Meadows says despite “mild symptoms,” Pres Trump is on the job and will remain on the job. In talks with him today, he says Trump wanted to know how the economy was doing and the status of negotiations on a new stimulus bill.

I had it recently and that was my treatment. Mind you, you won’t get that treatment from every doctor or hospital. Blessed to have a physician spouse who did all you mentioned.
It began with a remarkable fatigue that I easily explained by having a long day. Over the next few days I had mild cold symptoms–runny nose, sneezing, coughing. It’s really easy to think you just have a cold, particularly if you have allergies as I do. But out of precaution, that’s when he gave me z-pack and zinc. About the 5th day of symptoms, I lost smell and taste and went for test. It was positive.
Thereafter, I had low grade fever off and and on and one or two days of mild flu-like aches in my legs and hips. I thought I was over it because I felt so well. Day eleven my fever shot up to 103 and remained there for 48 hours, and then it was gone. From there I was fatigued and short of breath for a few days.
Took another week or so until I felt like myself again. God was good to me. Others in my community have not fared as well to include hospitalizations, vents, and death in some younger than I.
Don’t discount what the darn thing can do to you. But we know President Trump will have the best of care, like I did.

My daughter’s family had Covid. My daughter (in her 30’s) had a cough, fever to 101 and loss of smell. Her husband, the same.
The 3 kids (6, 4 and 16 months) had almost no symptoms.
The 6 year old, who has asthma, only experienced a loss of smell. That was a huge relief, as he usually has an asthma flare-up with any upper respiratory infection.
They all recovered with no treatment.
Our President & First Lady will be getting the best treatment and they are both in good health.
I did take hydroxy beginning the day i tested positive. Glad your family survived!

I’ve got another question, if you don’t mind. Did you have any problem getting the pharmacy to fill the Hydroxychloroquine prescription? Any questioning from the pharmacy about documentation of a positive Covid test?
I’m wondering if there are still pharmacies refusing or limiting Hydroxychloroquine Rxs.
I did not because we had some already. Others we know have had pharmacists turn down the prescription! Pharmacy board gives them the authority to do so. We are hearing the hospitals do not treat with it either.
