Lancaster, PA had an officer shooting yesterday, Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020 were a man with a knife ran at an officer.
Within only a few hours the body cam video was released, with proper blurring of people faces where appropriate and then the body. I honestly think it was pretty darn quick to get it out.
It was 100% clear what happened and the officer did well. Even with that there was demonstations and rioting as others have posted above.

Reaganite – I like your comment but we also need to be cautious about too much optimism. The left can’t win through the voting system, at least not legitimately. They are planning to use fraud, deception, and all-out war to win. We shouldn’t focus as much on polls as on how we stop them from stealing the election. There is a real possibility they could succeed because of the lack of knowledge of the America voters. Remember, POTUS won in 2016 with a minority of the votes. Here’s how it happened:
Only about 60% of eligible voters actually voted. Those votes were split about half and half between Hillary and Trump. 40% of eligible voters did not even vote. So all those people who either didn’t vote or voted for Hillary were not educated enough to get out and vote for Trump. He was fortunate (and I believe blessed by God) to have his votes land strategically perfect to give him the Electoral College majority. But a huge majority aren’t even educated enough to either vote or to not vote Marxist Democrat.
Between the fraud and deception the left is planning along with ignorance of the vast majority of voters. this is the most important election in history. Looking at polls hasn’t really meant anything in years. What matters is getting such a huge landslide for Trump that the left’s cheating can’t succeed. But it means a landslide as big or bigger than Reagan’s reelection.

Sentient – I have to question your point about people being sick of masks. I live in Colorado, which is certainly a very blue state, but I live in Colorado Springs, which is supposed to be the conservative stronghold of the state (it really isn’t that strong, but it’s all we’ve got). It’s the second largest city in the state and I talk to people all the time and find very few people tired of masks. Most of them are scared enough that they don’t want the masks to go away. They have believed the hype that everyone will die without them. Maybe this area is unique in the entire country, but my guess is it is not. When I talk to friends and family in many places across the country they all seem to be finding what I’m finding. I suspect that if we measure the opinion based on what is said here, we’re getting a very skewed view of what the whole country thinks. I hope I’m wrong, but I’m sure not hearing of that many people feeling what you say, except for the things I read here.
Ken- I think you are correct. I see peple wearing them outside walking all of the time. People in CO are putting masks on toddlers too. They seem to be true believers and never question their Gods in Government or the media.
There are private schools in my area that are making Kindergarten age children wear them all day as well as limiting the numbers of students in the classroom.
I’m sure things vary by location, but here in Wichita, KS for the most part people wear masks only where mandated. I can go for weeks and not see a mask worn other than where it is required by law (generally in stores). While I know there really are people affected by covid, when I ask friends and family if they know anyone that has had it, they don’t. If not for media, and a meddling dem governor, I truly wouldn’t have known covid existed.

I’ve been keeping track of the daily covid-19 virus numbers in Nevada, both state and our county totals for a while now. Here’s a short recap of the number of new positive tests per week, statewide:
week of 7-25 to 7-31 the State had a total of 7,203 new positive test results
week of 8-1 to 8-8 the State had a total of 7,331 new positive test results
week of 8-9 to 8-16 the State had 5,886 new positive test results
week of 8-17 to 8-23 the State had 4, 296 new positive test results
week of 8-24 to 8-30 the State had 3,307 new positive test results
week of 8-31 to 9-6 the State had 2,702 new positive test results
week of 9-7 to 9-13 the State had 1,927 new positive test results.
So now guess it comes down to seeing what the new positive test result numbers will be, statewide, for the week ending 9-27 to see if there is a big jump in new positive test results before the Nv. Governor can start screaming murder or something regarding the President’s outdoor and indoor rallies.
What I find interesting on the State vs County daily number tabulations, the County always shows the number of recovered, no. of active cases in the county by zip code area, whereas the State only shows the increasing number of ‘Confirmed Cases’ (which I call new positive test results) because there’s still a huge question of whether or not a positive test = actual case or mere exposure to someone who had an active case, and the State never shows how may recovered, only deaths, purposely keeping citizens in the dark on what’s really going on. The majority # of cases, positive tests, etc, are in Clark County (Las Vegas), our county, the next largest population-wise (478,155 people) have had a total of 8,077 positive tests, currently 6,711 recovered and 1,217 ‘active’. Wonder why Sisolak doesn’t want the people in Las Vegas to know how many have recovered?
Because Sisolak enjoys controlling all of us peons in Las Vegas. And no I did not vote for this imbecile.
Neither did I, or anyone I know; we figured it was that late night bussing in of voters at a pole in southern part of the State just as the poles were closing is what happened, of course, those are the rumors us folks up north were talking about.
Unfortunately, none of this type of data that is available anywhere is reliable.
The reason is because there is no gold standard test. No standard set of criteria to define what is “positive” or “negative”. Because there are over 150 different manufacturers of the tests, and they “cycle” the sample a varying number of times, the “positives” are comparing not just apples and oranges, but lemons, limes, grapes, etc….
As far as “recovered”, that number is totally unreliable as well. The number of recovered people is no doubt much, much higher than what can even be known. The number is actually unknowable.
Considering the huge number of asymptomatics and the people that only have mild symptoms and recover without a problem, who never got tested and never communicated with any doctor or hospital, so no follow up to know if they “recovered”. My 70 year old mom, my wife and myself all got WuFlu in July, never went to doctor or anything. It was only after the fact that my mom went and gave blood in order to confirm she had the antibodies.
this is why I use the words “tested positive” whereas the State uses ‘confirmed cases’ and started thinking that way because within a week of this pandemic becoming a “thing” our county decided it was wise to fire the one member of the county health commission that had actual pandemic training and experience and put in a person who had no experience at all, we figured political connections is what got the new guy in so immediately we knew whatever numbers there are were going to be sketchy, which is why I started keeping tabs.

With the activity in Lancaster, PA yesterday because of a justified police shooting, I don’t think Trump has much to worry about in PA. For those just reading here… and not going back hundreds of posts. There was a deadly shooting in the city of Lancaster, PA Sunday by a police officer. The police within hours released the body cam video of the officer who shot and killed a man running at him with a knife. He had seconds to make the decision and shoot.
There were demonstrations and some low level rioting late Sunday night.
There was an incident in my neck of the woods over the weekend. Calls came into police that a man was on a street talking incoherently and swinging a baseball bat. Police found him and he started walking down the street yelling etc., obviously in a poor mental state. Police followed him for quite a ways and had a trained person who deals with these kinds of situations trying to talk to him and bring him down to a calmer state. When officers approached him, he lunged at them and hit one with the bat. Another officer then fired his weapon and shot the guy.
I believe he is recovering, but you know what came next. BLM and others protested and they were peaceful, fortunately. However, they sure took on trashing the police in front of the media, saying they didn’t need to shoot him and that the medical care he got was an issue because he was black. They could have just tackled him or something like that, they said, not shoot. If they were the ones dealing with this situation, we all know they would be talking a different story, but they always take the side of being victims because of their race and excusing all wrong doing from the ones the police are trying to deal with on that basis.
It’s just awful what has been allowed to build all across the country because these situations weren’t taken care of when the protests first started changing into the looting, violence and rioting and were allowed tocontinue to happen with little consequences. Now everything is excused and the police are targeted with extreme violence or loss of their jobs and jail time for doing them. Very sad and dangerous.

Montgomery County, PA has been hit hard by the Wuhan Flu. It’s been a few weeks since I checked but there have been around 800 deaths in nursing homes in that county. There is a big push by a Democrat-affiliated “non-partisan, non-profit” (Harrisburg address, but really out of DC) on mail-in ballots. Our house received a completed ballot-application, just sign and mail back. It was addressed to my daughter, who hasn’t lived in the state in ten years, but when she was, she was registered as a Democrat. None of the rest of our household, registered Republican, received such a ballot application.
If she received one, even though is registered in another state and with even her car registered in another state, then imagine how many fraudulent ballots there will be. If this were a normal election, it would be no-problem for President Trump. But with Wolfe in charge, we need a big turnout to overwhelm the fraud.

Amish do not vote, at least the ones I know in Kentucky. Anyway, the Amish folk I know told me their entire church is praying for Trump to win the election. They know what’s happening, more so than many college students.
