It’s curious how hysterical the left is about the election. Controlling nearly all public instutitions, media, and corporations, they are happy to violently expose themselves with an agenda that does not appeal (almost seems designed to repel healthy, sane people), and enable voter fraud.
It is as if losing an election will mean their personal death, though their opponents are mild-mannered Republicans who have little interest in exercising power even if they had it, and can barely speak up for anything, including truth, liberty, sanity, etc.
In years gone by, people who lost an election would just get over it and look to the next election, which they often as not would win.
The new left seems unable to “wait” for the next opportunity, even if it means destroying themselves instead of waiting for the inevitable easy win. In fact, there are no depths to which they wouldn’t sink to avoiding waiting for the next election. Why?

And Gov. Newsome in California apparently thinks it is good politics to largely legalize pedophilia in a coordinated move with Netflix releasing child porn movies, just before an election. What thought process leads to that as being an ideal action just before an election?
You can trace the left back a long time, but it seems much seemingly suicidal, no holds-barred politics arrived with the legal “normalization” of gay marriage in 2015 … there was essentially no response from the public, so its almost as if Democrats decided “hey, if we can do that with no consequence, we can do anything with no consequence”. Trump just happened to come along after that.
It would be interesting to figure out exactly what is going through their heads, but you get instantly banned nowadays. Just a few years ago, you could debate these things, and tie them in knots. But now everything isTwitter-oriented, with short sentences and then immediate banning, so no tracing of ideas back to their origin.

In the past, something controversial would have been done a year or two AFTER election, so people would forget about it by the time of the next election. In the run-up to an election, politicnas used to pass popular feel-good legislation in the weeks running up to an elextion, not divisive horrors that appeal to a tiny fraction of a percent of voters.
But this was done front and center, weeks before the election — he WANTS people to see him legalizing pedophilia. Actually doing it is secondary.

The law, beside changing the age difference to 10 years, was enacted according to the writers of the law, to make sure that homosexuals weren’t discriminated against by including sodomy and oral sex as being okay. The old law only dealt with normal sex between heterosexual people where one was considered a juvenile. An example would be if a 17 year old was dating and having sex with a 20 year old it would require that the 20 year old register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. Now there is a 10 year age difference and the judge can scrape the sex registration if the circumstances warrant…such as a dating situation…this occurred quite a bit when a senior in high school was dating a freshmen and he graduated but continued to date his high school girlfriend. The law is written poorly and is an attempt to get around the old requirement of sexual offender lifetime registration between consenting persons. The real objective is to eliminate old men hiring prostitutes who are under age. California is the leading state to establish laws that help the juvenile sex trade. All this law makers should be arrested.

BREAKING: 9th Circ. Allows End To Temporary Protected Status
Law360 (September 14, 2020, 1:29 PM EDT) — A split Ninth Circuit panel on Monday reversed a federal judge’s order that preserved temporary immigration protections for individuals from four countries, paving the way for the Trump administration to deport more than 300,000 people.

I grew up in Atlanta area. Lake Lanier built 50-60 years ago. Folks complain climate change has given less water to keep full. Ummm, no. Population of area served has added 1-2 zeros on the end. Rainfall/supply is probably historically fine, its the demand has increased. You can’t build a higher dam to increase capacity.
I used to do allot of work in the Tuscon, AZ area. Had the same discussion with long residents there. They built so fast that they burned through allot of the aquifer and are also having water issues. It is the same story in allot of places where resources and building are not balanced very well…but hey the developers (and their investors) sure make a bundle of money.
Why oh why do people move to a DESERT and expect the WATER supply NOT to be an issue?!

It’s actually been a very cool summer here in Southern California with the exception of one recent weekend. The guy is a liar! Our temperatures have been in the 50° range at night and 80° range in the daytime much cooler than even two summers ago. Last summer was also pretty cool. It snowed 18″ in Colorado and New Mexico last week. So, is climate change selective???.
We lived in the San Fernando Valley in the early 90s while going to school. It hit 118° at the height of the summer even back then. So, same old, same old.
