It’s not going to get ugly at all, unless Trump wins. Barr and Durham have successfully run out the clock. I think they both slow walked this whole thing because they are not convinced Trump will win reelection and if they went after well connected swamp creatures they and their families would be a target in the next admin.
But no issue with Mueller tampering with 2018 election by running his witch hunt when he knew there was nothing all along. But heaven forbid Barr “influence the 2020 election” by telling voters the TRUTH about the commie-Dems coups and insurance policies. Two FBI agents followed two Islamist terrorists all the way from Arizona and allowed them to drive right up to the the “Draw Mohammed” contest in Garland, Texas. Repeat: the FBI agents were following them in a car and never notified the local police. Fortunately, the local police stopped them with lethal force before they could gun down the participants. To this day I still believe they wanted Pam Geller, Big Fur Hat from IOTW, and others murdered.

The biggest thing to strike me from the Rod Rosenstein questioning in the House, was when Jim Jordan was questioning him on a topic and Rosenstein said he wasn’t there then and Jim said “well you’re the boss now” and Rosenstein said he had 115,000 employees. Since they all seem to be lone wolfs who can do anything they want, think of the destruction that could be wrought by 115,000 lone wolf social justice warriors who are out to get political adversaries. All you have to do is look at the sdny (who employs comeys daughter), and it tells you everything you need to know.

Which is the point, dozens of books have been written on the subject. We all know crimes have been committed. We don’t need a report, we need people to be prosecuted. But Barr-zini is a deep state plant who stood by and watched his friends get ambushed leaving the White House after President Trump gave his acceptance speech. A hard charging AG would have opened an investigation on the DC Mayor the next day for conspiracy to violate the Civil Rights .And that would be for starters.
Several authoritative books and articles (including the heroic work done by Sundance) have been written providing such a wealth of detail and information that a first year law student could have made indictments and successful prosecutions by now.
There is NO excuse other than Barr and Durham are stalling to see who wins the election. He’s a former Fox News reporter and he prides himself on being in the middle (just-the-facts kind of guy, or so he says). Definitely follow him on Twitter if, for no other reason, you still want to retain some optimism. Yesterday he posted a flurry of “it’s coming” sort of tweets. He claims to have sources and has reported/posted on this for years. Who knows what’s real anymore but he seems a credible news guy.
He reportedly broke a few (or many?) big stories at Fox News years ago. I just started keeping an eye on him maybe 2 months ago.
His twitter feed is a mix of gently pushing his family winery (& wine), current events, & politics.
He appears even tempered, and claims to focus on issues, not ideology. He is understandably sensitive to racial issues as his wife is a famous African American actress. Cute kids. I think she / they post videos elsewhere.
Why does Tom Fitton and Sydney Powell who have moved this investigation along more than anyone say on the Lou Dobbs show that the State Department (controlled by Soros) and Barr-zini’s DOJ are working against them in their respective cases?

The problem really is finding even clean people from the past. 1. Did you personally direct, suggest, or otherwise encourage anyone on your legal team to destroy their cell phones that may have had exculpatory information or identify contacts that suggest or document intentional leaks to the media that may have been captured?
2. Did you authorize or permit anyone else on your ‘special counsel’ team to authorize or permit the destruction of their phones or the information on those phones, or communicate such suggestions to any team members?
3. Did you seek any legal or political guidance from any source outside of your team with respect to this issue prior to the request for said information and if so can you provide that name?
Mueller deserves to be fully exposed and undressed in public and forced to explain in detail with specific timeframes all of which CTH has brought to light, and just how the multi-tier justice system is supposed to function within Constitutional boundries and what he would/should have done to fix it.
The criminal, coupe participants should have been rounded up long ago, as well as busting up the federal civil service and dismantling of DC by moving agencies to different parts of the USA and returning DC to whichever state is willing to take it. A good start to getting this country back on the constitution rails…

Although originally DC was created from parts of VA and MD the remaining part is just the portion from MD. Concern over “swaying” the election is a slap in the face to the integrity of the American voter. Information from reliable sources is what is required for the voter to be able to properly assess anything. If Barr believes his information quality is crap, then sure he would be reluctant to disclose it. But, then that tells us all we need to know about the DOJ’s ability to find its own navel.
Barr ought to recognize that the President has not been cleared in the public arena from all of the accusations flung at him by the FBI entrapment scheme and every derivation therefrom. THAT is going to affect the election if not corrected, so Barr’s sentiment of NOT acting with any urgency is exactly wrong.
He is compelled to make America understand that some very nasty and destabilizing corruption was put in play against Trump. He further needs to prosecute it. The best way to do the former in a proper way is to conduct the latter. In such a manner, it will reach deaf ears and begin to open eyes.

You and others pursuing this line of thought are exactly right. Withholding valid information about candidates, their partisans, their appointees or bureaucrats is the most blatant form of election interference. What pols mean is that they want to avoid interfering with the electoral prospects of certified members of the club. Interfering with nabobs like Trump, and others sabotaged by prosecutors during election season is fair game because it protects bipartisan club. An old friend of mine (now in a memory care facility) was a career intel community member who rose to station chief level. He always asserted that honest, un-compromised politicians only reach congress and very senior bureaucratic positions by accident and those few are under constant attack by the deep state. His assertion was that only two types make it to the top by design – people who can be blackmailed or bribed. There are days that I wonder if Barr is in one of those two categories.

Anyone in government is–by Barr’s classification–“political”. Hence, Barr’s preemptive removal of the numerous felons from consideration of prosecution. From the POV of the Swamp, it was a clever move.

2 simple questions to ask Barr that IMO will tell you everything you need to know about two tier system of justice.
1) With documented evidence via Adm Rodgers audit and Judge Collyer’s report which unequivocally shows that just during a 6 month period, 85% of the 702 NSA searches conducted by contractors were illegal.
So Mr. Barr with this massive National Security threat, did you order or insist that a full NSA Contractor Abuse Investigation be conducted to properly assess the extent of this damage and how long this illegal behavior went on for? If not why not?
2) With documented evidence that 31 Government issues phones were “accidentally wiped clean by many under investigation today, did you ever request the NSA or the carriers to go back and provide the missing texts and emails? If not why not?
These are two very common sense questions and any legitimate investigation IMO would have already immediately taken action to fully assess the depth and length of the NSA Contractor Spying And also used every resource available to recover the wiped phones texts and emails.
IMO if these basic actions have not been conducted then IMO the American people have been snookered bigly!

The issue with this is that the IG is not a criminal investigation therefore the destruction of evidence is not a criminal matter. It’s a internal policy matter because the IG is not a criminal investigation.
I’m pretty sure the IG bring sent in first was purposeful in the sense of a dry run to safely clean up and clean house before an actual investigation come calling.
These messages are completely recoverable and don’t require a warrant. More than likely the release of this is part of the process of getting ahead before the messages come out.
