Though I shoot (targets at my brother’s house) on rare occasions, I haven’t owned a gun for decades. Had no real desire… but things change. A couple weeks ago I took the first step, applied for my FOID. Based on what I understand, I should have it within the next week or two. Again, that’s only the first step, and when I get around to shopping for a gun I’m hoping there’s something decent that I can afford.
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone here know about this since I’ve been hinting at it for years. But to be honest, I’m NOT happy I’m having to do this.
Me personally, I would rather have a gun and not needed, then to need a gun and not have it.

All of these riots are starting to take a toll on me emotionally. I pray for our country every day, and I fear for the safety of my wife and three boys. Fortunately, where I live in PA, wr have not seen an influx of these animals (that’s what they are). Lots of guns and ammo and farms where I live, so that is a huge plus.
We also have a state being run by a communist governor who listens to a health secretary with a mental disorder. Kids over 2 do not need to wear masks at school because the infection rate is less than 0.5%. It’s maddening.
If not for my family ties to this state, and an excellent educational support team for my oldest son, who is on the autism spectrum, we would have been out of this state years ago. The communists who all congregate in the southeast part of this state (Philly for those of you who live in Rio Linda), have ruined everything for the rest of us.

I’m not big but I can make someone regret they messed with my privacy. March and make noise. Fine. The second you toss my meal or flip my table over you’re going to get stabbed or have a glass broken over your face. These people make my blood boil. So it’s good I moved to the country I guess. : )

Washington and Lee University in Lexington VA now offers a course in “How to Overthrow The State”. If this is what Academia is teaching, it is time to defund those Universities that foment sedition. In the case of W & L, it is a private university. I wonder if the patrons know what is happening with their money.

A bit of uplifting news because so many seem so fearful and downcast…Today i left my house to go spend lunch time with my family in the next county over, which is deep blue. As i left my house (red county) you couldnt go more than two blocks without seeing Trump signage. Flags, posters, signs are prevalent. I have seen only one Biden sign near the library. As I pulled in to pick up lunch in my town the car in front had a Biden sticker. As i drove through the blue county I saw two total for Biden and lots of local names. My county is red but was surprised at only two Bidens over there. No Trump over there that I saw. I would think folks are embarrassed! Anyway, cheer up, it isnt bad everywhere.
BLM is Trump’s ground game. They advertise for him nightly.

I doubt it’s a nefarious WordPress thing.
For as long as I’ve been reading here (quite a while), I’ve seen people having issues both posting comments and liking them. I regularly have issues when accessing the site on my phone, but on my PC it works just fine.
Wordpress is just… wordpress. Or something =P
It seems once I go to post and am then required to sign in I am able to “like” on the next page or article I view no problem.
For whatever reason, I’m not able to “like” anyone’s post until I’ve posted a comment on the thread.
Why this is the case is a complete WordPress mystery.
