A bill would establish a K-12 curriculum in the ‘four I’s of oppression.’
The model curriculum now on the education department’s website says the course should “build new possibilities for post-imperial life that promotes collective narratives of transformative resistance.” Yes, this is a course for K-12 students. It suggests teachers provide “examples of systems of power, which can include economic systems like capitalism and social systems like patriarchy.” Students can then be taught “the four ‘I’s of oppression”—ideological, institutional, interpersonal and internalized.
The state guidance includes more than 200 pages of approved course outlines. Some of these seem to mandate student political activities, potentially raising First Amendment concerns. “Students acquire tools to become positive actors in their communities to address a contemporary issue and present findings in a public forum,” says one outline. Among the approved topics: “Racism, LGBTQ rights, immigration rights, access to quality health care, income inequality,” and so on. What about the fifth “I” of indoctrination?

Gavin Beret Dawson and Maxwell Cade McCann were sentenced to probation for two years, with 60 days in the jail’s Alternative Sentencing Program, which includes jail work release and in-home detention. Assuming (not certain) that there is ever debate between the president and China Joe, the president will be asked about and will have to answer about the purportedly greater numbers of COVID deaths in the US vs elsewhere. While it would be perfectly reasonable to put the deaths in context and to talk about co-morbidities, it risks sounding insensitive. I think it will resonate better to ask Americans how much of their freedom they really would have wanted to part with. America is not China. America is not South Korea. America is not even Germany. Would Americans really want:
Mandatory tracking apps on their phones monitoring their every movement?
Being forced to stay home for two weeks because of some fleeting contact with someone who’d tested positive?
Being welded into their apartments, like in China?
His best argument on this is the recently updated CDC numbers showing less than 10,000 pure Covid-19 deaths. The rest had 2-3 serious pre-existing conditions and most were elderly.
Last night on Laura I think, The president began mentioning the obvious: that if it wasn’t for the criminally awful job that cuomo and de blasio did in New York City (and surrounding metro area including jersey and conn) the rest of the USA numbers were very good compared to similar countries. (Even with nyc nj and Connecticut the numbers are comparable to Uk Spain France)
He needs to hammer this point home every day and once or twice explain how cuomo and de blasio blew it
Nyc screwed up in these ways :
1) nursing homes (as been explained elsewhere)
2) subways: for the first 45 days, cuomo kept the subways open and didn’t clean them. Only when someone pointed out that they were full of homeless, were completely unclean, were a Perfect setting for the virus to spread, and linked all areas that had large amounts of Covid with other areas, did cuomo deign to do the obvious and shut down the subways for a few hours a night for cleaning. The subways were the Covid Conduit
3) in March 26 approx, when the trump admin demanded cuomo shut down the bridges and tunnels leaving the city to forestall spread in jersey and conn cuomo refused.
4) cuomo has been taking a victory lap saying he crushed the virus. In fact, his incompetence allowed for the virus to kill enough of the population that nyc reached a type of herd immunity. He deserves no plaudits, only trials.
In short, Cuomo was the Covid governor. Whatever he asked for from the president, he got in spades. But he botched everything and is directly responsible for probably 20,000 excess deaths. De blasio is a moron who didn’t fight cuomo when he should have.
Why should the President wait for the debates to unleash some sanity on the Covid hysteria? Do it NOW!!! Assemble a sane Covid science group and hammer the airwaves with the newest info that undermines the hysteria. Use his powerful bully pulpit. Rescind any emergency EOs on covid and say we need to get back to normal NOW. Here in SW Utah, a desert region, the schools are saying they must, according to CDC guidelines, enforce masks on outdoor sports classes. So our high school football teams have to play with masks on in 112 degree heat??!

In a country where over half the populace is technically obese and where the elderly make up a large section of the population, probably 65 percent have some co morbidities. Mentioning the new Covid analysis will just piss off those 65 percent.
Better is to analyze the death numbers properly. Stress the outsized effect Covid Cuomo’s malfeasance had on the overall numbers: how without NYC and surrounding area, the US numbers are very good. Stress the demographics of the deaths. Stress the insane and inane coverage by CNN and MSNBC: the paranoia porn. Stress the Biden screw ups. Stress chinas role. And stress the economic toll this has taken: that perhaps herd immunity strategy would have been smarter from a cost benefit analysis but alas we live in a country and a world where feelings trump facts. I then found another interview with Monckton, where he said the same thing & this was BEFORE the fall election.
Then I saw that Google & other social-media sites were “manipulating” search results for Stephen Harper to negative news about him, saw photos of Justin Trudeau meeting with Barrack Hussein Obama at a restaurant in Montreal, heard mumblings about Soros, Hillary Clinton, etc. & came to the conclusion that Trudeau was placed in power by election fraud & election interference in Canadian Politics!
