Well, maybe you own rental property and I can see where that might cause you concern. However, there were 40,000,000 people facing eviction today from rental properties. That would make the dustbowl okies seem like a drop in a gallon bucket. These problems are caused by the governors and pseudo scientists…not the President. The President has encouraged governors to open up their states. The President, because of all of the properties his companies, is also losing money because he can’t evict anyone either. The Trump administration issued an order Tuesday banning landlords from evicting tenants from rental properties they can no long afford to rent due to income lost to the coronavirus pandemic.
The order, issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), would make it illegal to evict any individual that expects to make less than $99,000 or a joint-filing couple that expects to make less than $198,000 in 2020. The tenants would still be required to pay rent owed per the terms of the lease, but will be allowed to stay in their unit through the end of the year.

Firstly, unlike the CARES Act moratorium, this applies to all rental properties. If any home is being rented out, it is covered by the moratorium depending on the tenant’s circumstances.
Tenants must make a *self-declaration to their landlord* – it does not need to be processed to be effective.
They first must declare that they
(a) received a stimulus check, or
(b) did not have to pay tax in 2019, or
(c) expect to earn 99k or less, or 198k if filing jointly.
Second, they must declare they have lost income or incurred unexpected expenses due to the economic or medical effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Third, they must declare they are doing their best to make partial payments, taking into account other necessary expenses e.g. food.
Finally they must declare that they will become homeless or have to move into a congregated setting such as a family home, shelter, or house with roommates if they are evicted.
Once this declaration is made, they can’t be evicted til 2021.

Democratic Pollster Predicts a Huge Trump Win on Election Night — But Says Biden Will End Up Winning Within a Week

President Donald Trump is likely going to win big on election night — including in traditionally Democratic states, such as Minnesota and Virginia — but will lose the election a week later because of mail-in voting, according to a Democratic pollster.
“We are sounding an alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on election night an incredible victory for Donald Trump,” HawkFish CEO Josh Mendelsohn said in an interview with Axios on HBO.
One scenario modeled by Mendelsohn’s polling firm even shows Trump prevailing in the Electoral College on election night, winning 408 electoral votes compared to just 130 for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The model shows Biden winning California, New York, Colorado, Oregon, and the state of Washington.
That scenario accounts for the idea that just 15 percent of mail-in votes will be counted by election night. In that event, the model suggests, Biden could prevail days later — if counting goes smoothly — by 334 electoral votes to 204 for Trump.
“When every legitimate vote is tallied and we get to that final day, which will be some day after Election Day, it will in fact show that what happened on election night was exactly that, a mirage,” Mendelsohn said. “It looked like Donald Trump was in the lead and he fundamentally was not when every ballot gets counted.”
He pointed out that this outcome may shake the losing side’s faith in the integrity of the election.
“Even if you ultimately get to the end result — which is that Joe Biden would be president of the United States — now you’ve taken what in politics would be taken as a bit of a mandate to govern … you in fact find yourself in this deeply polarized situation where a portion of the American electorate, a real portion of the American electorate, feels that injustice was done,” Mendelsohn said.

Exclusive: Dem group warns of apparent Trump Election Day landslide

The methodology, described in detail below, was based in part on polling from FiveThirtyEight in August. (NOTE: On Nov 7, 2016, 538 was calling for a massive win by HRC).
The ultimate results may well sit somewhere between these low-end and high-end scenarios and will also be impacted by who actually votes, and how voters’ views about their options change over the coming weeks.
The other side: “The news media should get out of the business of predicting the future,” Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh said in response.
Between the lines: Hawkfish is not just trying to educate the public about the possibility that Trump could prematurely declare victory, or try to delegitimize a Biden victory if it took days or weeks to determine.
The group is also trying to sensitize state and county elections officials, news and social media organizations, and the courts to the perils of premature results — and to the possibility of Trump and his team applying challenges and political pressure to reject a high share of mailed-in ballots counted after election day.
And the group is warning voters that rejection rates for mail ballots are higher than in-person voting.
To avoid having their votes thrown out, Hawkfish is advising voters to be extra careful about voting early enough and following all the instructions to the letter — or, potentially, putting on masks and gloves and going early either to safely vote in person or return the mail ballot in person.
Methodology: Hawkfish surveyed 17,263 registered voters in 50 states and DC, July 1-Aug. 16, 2020, to assess who people planned to vote for and whether they intend to vote by mail or in person at a polling place.
Responses were filtered for those described as definitely voting or likely to vote and weighted for state and national registered voter demographics.
The scenarios assumed votes at polls would be counted on election day itself (Nov. 3). A scenario taking a week to count mail ballots would translate to approximately 15% per day on average.
In another scenario, mail ballot counts took four days at 25% per day. For states that have had high vote-by-mail participation rates, Hawkfish assumed they would take two days.

Not only that, but IMHO if there ever is a ‘win’ by a Democrat or any other party with the objective to make us a socialized country, the foundation to keep us a free nation will not be easy to get over, under, around or thru.
As Trump and members of his family have stated, he didn’t need to do this – take on the challenge to Make and Keep America Great. He could have lived out his remaining years living the life of luxury to which he is entitled.
Instead of gratitude and support for what he has undertaken, instead of cheers for what has been accomplished, he gets non-stop criticism – even from his supposed supporters.
Do we want changes to happen faster? Sure. It isn’t until you look back at the list of accomplishments that you begin to grasp how far we have come in a very short time – despite 24/7 opposition.

My beloved horse Tuddy is starting to act like Sleepy Joe. He is 16 years old and has been blind since he was 3. Tuddy always managed by sound, smell, and touch, but now I fear he is deaf. The changes are obvious. He can barely find his food and he seems to not know where he is. I won’t put him down, but he needs more help from me if he’s going to survive. Tuddy does have one thing going for him that Joe doesn’t have. He still has class and keeps his water bucket clean
I hope Tuddy hangs in there, he’s got a chance to be on the ticket.
