I have always lived by the “cooler heads prevail” motto when confronted with anything that goes against the “norm” or values unbecoming to the populace as a whole. I am beginning to think that this will not work. We can not count on Barr to do his job – he is deep state and will disappoint and be that “regular guy”. We already know Wray is bought-and-paid for and will not do his job and by all accounts, the entire DOJ is corrupt beyond repair. (And this includes the very corrupt FBI and the federal judiciary)
The cold-blooded murder of a Trump supporter should have every American seething – but evidently, that is not the case. If the tables were turned, we know what would happen.
My question for all is when will we know that it’s time for “We the People” to defend our country against obama’s army? I remember well when he called for a civilian army; it’s here in our streets and they are not pro-America or pro-American. These are Marxists who are well-funded, well-organized and detest this country and will do anything to destroy it. What do they have planned in 30 days? 45 days? 15 days?
I share many of your sentiments but we cannot allow ourselves to be baited into an effort to pit American vs. American. The fringe leftists would love to proof of their false view that ordinary Americans as a bunch of tribal creatures motivated by hatreds and always on the cusp of violence. That is not who we are and that truth scares them as it should

Be they Governor, mayor, city councilor, state/city attorneys, bureaucrats, judges, health officials etc. In effect they are allowing organized, coordinated terrorists to operate (many non-local), releasing prisoners then crippling LEO’s. etc etc. Citizens within their jurisdictions are threatened or denied self defence, free speech, equal treatment under the law, etc.
Is it not Legal in the USA to form a local Citizen’s Militia and arrest the errant elected officials/bureaucrats? Perhaps the police would cooperate since they have suffered and been victimized in some of these cities?
Unless wealthy, citizens are being put in the position of hostages in these cities. Individuals can choose to associate and organize to protect themselves, families and their communities, and businesses.

I was going to post this yesterday but got sidetracked.
In my opinion, Kyle Rittenhouse is an American hero. He successfully defended himself from 3 adult attackers who were out to kill him. In the process, he exposed the fact that ALL 3 of them were CRIMINALS! The one with a gun was a felon and should be arrested by the FEDs but they seem unwillingly to do so, like that murderer in Portland who shot the conservative guy IN THE BACK! That is cold blooded murder! It was documented all over the place; why is he still walking around?
You know the police run checks on people they arrest. Why aren’t they reporting the criminal histories of these people? How many of these people are convicted criminals? I suspect most of them.
Because of the attention that Kyle Rittenhouse has drawn to Kenosha, the police department was forced to admit that most of the arrests have been people who do NOT live there. What they haven’t admitted is that probably not a one of these thugs is in jail and they haven’t revealed if any of the arrested have a rap sheet. It’s obvious to me that the DA is one of the SOROS supported criminal DAs whose job is to let actual criminals walk while attacking and persecuting honest citizens. In my opinion, when these crooked DAs, and there are many, let actual criminals walk, they are violating the civil rights of the victims and hence, should be arrested and prosecuted under FED law. The fix is in to keep them,elected (Look at that POS St. Louis DA who framed the R governor. She “won” her primary? Yeah, right!! She is STILL in office despite the evidence showing SHE framed the governor, who in my opinion was a wimp for resigning when he didn’t do anything wrong, but that seems to be how most Rs are; it’s disgusting. The Lt. Gov of VA is an actual rapist and the SOB is STILL the Lt Gov! Since most Rs are wimps, it’s no wonder President Trump scares the hell out of them.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, MI– Authorities of the Macomb County Sheriff’s Department have arrested a 26-year-old woman who allegedly set fire to a vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle that was set on fire is Avery Stevenson. He claims that he knows Parham, but does not know her motive for setting his vehicle on fire. He also said that she is not his girlfriend. Stevenson took a video of what his car looked like after the fire was put out. His jeep was 3 months old. (Awful video one big ashtray -nwtex)
The flames ended up melting two cars.
While at the jail, she was medically evaluated and treated for minor cuts and burns.

We should replace a lot of what the public schools no loner do with: skill centers, guilds, apprenticeships, and other such organizations. We need to supply our industries with the skill sets that are needed. Those that cannot or will not contribute should be either regimented or placed in manual labor organizations with a path to advance into something with higher skill requirements.
and a strong emphasis on morals and etiquette. Even if they can’t figure out 2+2, at least they’ll know how to behave in polite society.
Steve- I totally agree with you as far as teaching kids a trade in the schools. We have a lot of plumbers and electricians in our family who didn’t go to college, but who went to trade school during and after high school. While their peers were struggling to find minimum wage jobs after college, they had been earning $50-$75/ an hour.
Another thing- what about music? I am a big Jazz fan and as far as I’m concerned, Jazz is one of the greatest musical achievements ofyAfrican Americans, yet that is not being celebrated. Where are all the aspiring young Black Jazz musicians these days?

You expect the common public to become scientific and medical experts? Of course, the public listens to others to help inform them what is best. I also don’t study the scientific journal articles and medical data on medical treatments or: I trust a doctor who has been through medical school, and if in doubt, get a second or third opinion.
I also don’t have time to conduct my own experiments or do a meta-analysis on the issue of mask wearing.
I wear a mask only when required by public officials or store owners, but I also do not discourage others from wearing a mask because I am aware that more medical experts are recommending wearing a mask than not wearing a mask. I am not sure you can go into a doctors office these days without them requiring a mask.
Yes, people have taken mask wearing to the height of silliness–alone in their cars, walking alone on the beach, riding a bicycle alone on a mountain trail. But it isn’t bothering me.

Yes, I have a healthy skepticism regarding the effectiveness of masks. But I also have a daughter who is a medical doctor who works in a COVID ICU unit in a major hospital and she presents evidence that masks work and, of course, wears a mask and goggles when she is working. She is a lot more informed than I.
I am opposed to mandating the use of masks, just as I am opposed to mandating business closures. But it seems to me that the battle ought to be against the mandates and not trying to convince people that masks don’t work, because I am pretty sure you will find a lot more scientific/medical authorities saying they do work. And I would not want to convince someone that masks don’t work and find out that I am wrong. I don’t mind telling people there are two opinions on the issue, as you have done, but I draw the line at trying to convince them of something of which I am just a layman and could give bad advice.
I’d wear one there too, Nepanyrush, if I worked in a Covid ICU unit. She’s smart to take every precaution and it didn’t take some bureaucrat to tell her to protect herself.
I still wear a mask and gloves to medical appointments. There are a bunch of sick people(!) who go there. I should have been doing that for years, not just for the Wuhan Flu.
I wore a mask and gloves starting in March, and at the time it was not required for doctor visits. Since I have some comorbidities, I was wearing my gear to see my Doctor in early March and asked her about it. She said it wouldn’t prevent exposure but a mask and gloves would reduce the viral load. That would be a benefit to me.
Also, in March of this year no one knew much about preventatives or treatments. The Kung Flu is very serious stuff if you have other health issues, which I did. You don’t mess with it.
I did check with my doctor to see if quinine was OK to use and would not interact with any meds I am taking. Also, she looked at my medical history to make sure there wouldn’t be a problem.
So she checked and told me to have at it. At the time there were only early indications that the Trump Cocktail would be beneficial, so she wouldn’t give an endorsement. But she made sure it wouldn’t hurt to go with it.
I wore gloves and a mask March, April, and into May when very, very few others were wearing masks. There was no mandate then and I sure got some funny looks.
The sunshine and warm weather hit in mid-May, there was now enough information out that HCQ + zinc was an effective preventative or early treatment (not much good once the Kung Flu was well established), and Ivermectin was shown to be effective if the virus was past the effectiveness of HCQ +zinc. I snagged some Ivermectin to have around just in case.
So I stopped wearing gloves and a mask. That’s when the (Idiot/Evil) Powers That Be started mandating masks; right when there was no longer a need for them. And that’s when sheeple started wearing masks with no clue as to their proper use and the proper type. I see maybe 1 in 100 ‘doing it right.’

Now that I’m above 65 and have diabetes, I am aware that I should be more careful about any bugs going around.
I predict that around mid-November, the mask mandates will be dropped. Also, in mid-November, flu season will start up again and no telling what the bug-of-the-year will be.

Your daughter who is a medical doctor working in a COVID ICU unit does not have the same expertise in breathing exchange of gases and particulates as does an ANESTHESIOLOGIST with 36 years of experience. This anesthesiologist is first an MD, then must specialize in Anesthesiology. He likely knew what she knows BEFORE he specialized, and before 36 years of EXPERIENCE.
I know this because I worked with and for doctors for 36 years, and although they like to pretend that they each “know it all” they don’t. Very very few have EVER worked in an actual “Level 4” laboratory. I have. I too, know that viruses are too small to stop with a mere mask. Ever see someone suited up for virology level 4? If a mere mask and street clothes were enough, why would they dress that way? It certainly does NOT make the work easier, it is quite costly for the lab to provide. It is kind of like a space suit. Each time one leaves the work area, they must remove it and be decontaminated.
Unless you are quite old, (my mom is 92) your daughter doc does not even have 36 years of experience in any branch of medicine. When did she finish her residency? What is her specialization?
Nevertheless, believe your daughter-doctor and not what you can see WITH YOUR OWN TWO eyes. That is your choice.
Just do not try to use your daughter’s, as you claim, “presented evidence” to sway others here without also presenting that evidence. Preferably via video that clearly DEMONSTRATES her so-called “evidence.”

To reiterate, my theory only makes sense if you take the “virus” narrative out of the equation, since it was there to obscure all along. I’ve been thinking that any school that receives federal dollars should have a camera in every classroom, focused on where the teacher teaches. The camera feed should be online and open to anyone and everyone.
Sunlight in the classroom is need more now than ever before.
My eldest son is very social. When he was going to school his social behavior was impacting his grades. My wife was a stay at home mom. She spent many a day sitting in his classroom in order to get him through school.
These marxist in the school system that do not want parental involvement and believe that the kids are theirs alone to mold, need to be weeded out of the school system, with haste.
I really like your camera idea for another reason. My niece has taught first grade in northern California for 25 years. Every year the number of disruptive students increases as well as the number of students in the classroom.
These are not just normal rambunctious kids but those who belong in Special Ed with clinical behavioral issues and mild mental retardation. She has been attacked several times by the most aggressive. Going to her principal is absolutely useless. Not only are these disruptive students learning nothing, but the normal ones are being cheated out of a good learning environment. She has met a few of the parents of the disruptive students and she describes them as typical “gang bangers” who are apathetic to their children’s needs.
A camera in the classroom would certainly help make her case to parents and administration.

As a dedicated troll watcher here I’m seeing some trends – Increasing posts about fear, being afraid, feeling unsafe and posts encouraging violent retaliation against the left.
If you step back from the screen a ways these types of posts really stand out.
We’ve had a bunch of trolls that must have been long slumbering since CTH is not allowing new posters for some time now. These accounts must have been created a long while ago and just recently activated. Just a guess, but that is how it seems to me.
I see some of what you are referring to, but some are not trolls- just natural reaction to the current insanity and thunderdome nature of the streets in lots of places.
I also see lots of trolls that try to be slick and think they are tricking people by being very light-handed, but still espousing nonsense regarding the threat of Covid as well.

Nonsense meaning people who believe it is a deadly threat and we should all mask-up, and that masks actually do something and those that post comments about new hotspots, and that “Cases” and their counts actually mean something to be worried about. In other words, people who still believe it is something more to worry about beyond the level we worry about the normal flu.

They are in panic mode right now and want you to think you can’t even go vote. That’s absurd. Go to your local voting spot, vote early, and set back and watch President Trump get elected!

Trump gets 4 hours a sleep a night. He has been viciously attacked every day for four years. His life is in danger.
And when I see someone post, “It’s too dangerous to go out and vote!” is sends me over the edge.
Give me a break. 99 percent of CTH readers out there have absolutely nothing to be afraid of. And even that 1 percent in places like Seattle, Portland, Chicago, New York can still go to their local voting place (usually a school) and vote.
Anything else is a voter suppression effort in my eyes.

I definitely agree, it is the very least we can do.
We have the facts, just use those to make your argument if someone’s statement really bothers you. You are very well informed, don’t just dismiss someone as a troll, they may be ignorant or just new to the cause.
I get the frustration. I feel as if the same arguments have been made over and over.
I hardly bother to comment unless there are new developments, it has become so repetitive. Just hang on, encourage one another, send out positive messages. Calling someone a troll is just as negative as their comment.

My son was in combat for 500 days when he was in the service and at the very tip of the spear. Shot, stabbed, etc. with 17 operations to fix him up. He lives with me now and no I don’t fear anyone with him here.
I always vote in person for presidential elections on Election Day. I don’t trust Franklin County (Ohio) Dems. Who’s to say they aren’t looking at early votes cast to determine how much to cheat.
I also don’t answer phone polls because I feel this is another way they determine how much they need to cheat.

For those that live in Pennsylvania this extension is not based on science it’s 100% political! I was going to see my brother who lives there this fall but cancelled. All kinds of businesses in Pennsylvania where I live that have gone bankrupt. The Amazon’s, the Walmart’s, the Targets, the Supermarkets have lines out the wazoo–I had to wait outside in lines in the Rain twice– but others not on the Governor’s preferred list were destroyed. And there have been almost no COVID-19 deaths in my county.
I know someone who wanted to hold an event at a hotel. The hotel advised him to just call it a protest and then they could hold the event. It has reached bizarro level in Pennsylvania.
I pray that PA goes for President Trump!
