That’s a genuine question because as anyone who was following U.S. foreign policy while Clinton was Secretary of State would be licking their chops to deconstruct her history.
Hillary Clinton entered the State Department in January of 2009.  She departed the State Department in January of 2013 because she needed the maximum amount of time possible between her tenure and her presidential bid – she needs people to forget how absolutely horrible she was.

♦ By the end of her first year as Secretary of State she was embroiled in her first scandal.  The WikiLeaks Cables – where Wikileaks released the State Department communications showing her various staffers making fun of world leaders.  She spent almost all of 2010 flying around apologizing for the releases.

Oh sure, Obama started it in Cairo February 2009 with that ridicuous apology speech at Cairo University; and yes, he made it worse by standing by and watching the Iranian Regime murder the students in the Green Movement, but Hillary Clinton was in full support.
As a direct consequence to the prior 12 months, and specifically because the EU entered into a phase where they admitted Multi-Culturalism (assimilation of North African immigration) failed, at the end of 2010 Tunis was on fire and the Arab Spring began.

♦ Hillary Clinton having completed the WikiLeaks apology tour, spread her wings and supported the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.  Specifically she declared herself aligned with Brotherhood Leader Mohammed Morsi (Pictured below).

This was the same President Morsi who opened all the Egyptian jails and released the imprisoned inmates/terrorists, including Mohammed Al Zawahiri (learn about him here), the brother of al-Qaeda’s #2 terrorist, Ayman Al Zawahiri.
Now let’s just put a point on how significant a FUBAR that was.
In December of 2011 Ayman Al Zawahiri (Osama Bin Laden’s #2) sent Afghanistan/Iraq and recently released Al-Qaeda operatives into Libya to establish a Libyan al-Qaeda Branch.  That 2011 Libyan al-Qaeda contingent, which included the Muslim Brotherhood, ultimately evolved into the fighting force that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens 9/11/12.

As Zurich Mike eloquently put it, Hillary Clinton and President Obama demanded the zookeepers step down, then they intentionally opened the big cat cages and just walked away.
That Clintonian policy didn’t end well when Morsi began crucifying Christians on the trees in front of the presidential residence.  Thousands of dead Coptic Christians later and it took a general in the Egyptian military, Fattah al-Sisi to restore some semblance of order.

♦ When it came to Libya (next door), well, that entire fiasco is 100% all Hillary Clinton.  Released Emails prove Hillary owns that one.
When the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and the various factions of what’s now Libyan Dawn or ISIS, began their empowered uprising in Benghazi (Eastern Libya next to Egypt), it was Samantha Powers, Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton who convinced President Obama we needed to intervene.
Kaddaffi was about to put the Benghazi al-Qaeda animals back into their cages when globalist, leftist humanitarian and brangelina peacenik, Samantha Power (wife to regulatory czar Cass Sustein) began pushing the ridiculous R2P principle (Responsibility to Protect).
As Secretary of State Hillary couldn’t even get the U.S. State Department employees out of Libya during the evacuation.
Everything in Libya is directly the responsibility of Hillary Clinton.  Another example of killing the zookeeper, opening the big cat cage, and just walking away while the rest of the gentle inhabitants become victims.
