President Donald Trump hosted a luncheon at the White House for the most influential leaders in the field of Artificial Intelligence or Super Intelligence (AI/SI). The attendees are a who’s who of the biggest names in the leading fields of technology, data processing, software design/engineering, compute capacity and super intelligence.

The assembled leadership team addressed the assembled White House press pool after their luncheon. President Trump led the SI leadership team out to the press pool for impromptu remarks. Most of the press pool went entirely bananas. VIDEO BELOW:

These AI “leaders” have dollar signs in their eyes as well as the celebrity adulation stars.
They have so much cash floating around their hubris will be their downfall.
They have ignored the people that got them to this point by restricting supply and causing GPU and memory prices to skyrocket to obscene levels.
The average Joe PC builder has been dissed and marginalized in their AI frenzy.
We won’t forget….
1. The A.I. people need money, and
2. They need to be absolved of their massive copyright infringements.
It’s all about the Benjamin’s and protecting the ones they will have.
Given opportunity with the restrictions of available hardware someone is going to get creative and write code for more efficient AI that can run on less complex hardware and still be good enough to be useful even on distributed systems.
Hyperscalers will be disappointed if that happens.
The only hardware company in the meeting was NVIDIA … interesting.
NVIDIA participates on both sides of the AI Technology issue.
The make the semiconductors that actually enable AI.
They write the machine code for the hardware that actually runs the AI Software.
They are an AI software developer.
The other semi-conductor companies and computer platform makers also need to be involved. It will be a strategic disaster of epic proportions if they are not brought in early with major roles.
The hardware developers could have a big role in “controlling” AI and even more important they have a major role as to which nations will actually be the leaders in battle for AI Dominance.
As for seeking wealth:

At the State Dinner Elon sat next to The First Lady….My guess is that was her decision. Now he sits next to POTUS. Whatever kerfuffle there was between them in the past has long been settled.

He was seated right next to him during the meeting.
Was thinking the same thing and then as the final person to speak next to Pres. Trump there was Elon, talking and answering the reporter’s question, so a closer. That in itself can at times be seen as a subtle honor a host can give a guest.

He is probably thinking what is he going to do to sway Trump on H1-B visa’s. Don’t forget what he posted.

Although I lack understanding of SI, I’m grateful our President is anticipating the fears many have.
We trust him, the others not much.
Thank God he’s in office as this SI moves into all our lives.
Anyone other than him could be a nightmare.
My feelings is that SI will help the people in the long run. And my feelings SI is hated by the democrats because it will help the people in the long run.
