This morning the Trump administration launched the Foundry School, a national program to train the entrepreneurs, engineers, technicians, and industrial leaders needed to rebuild American manufacturing. [Press Release Here]
“President Trump’s reindustrialization agenda has already brought trillions of dollars in industrial investment to American soil. Foundry School will focus on turning that investment into jobs. American manufacturers will need an estimated 3.8 million skilled workers by 2033 in semiconductors, defense, energy, and beyond, and Foundry School exists to make sure Americans fill those jobs. The program will put American workers first by equipping them with the skills needed to bring manufacturing jobs home and build careers in industries critical to our nation’s economic security.”
This critically important initiative launched today with the full support of the administration including remarks by both Vice-President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. ‘Industrial Security Is National Security’, noted Vance. ‘We Lost Our Ability to Make Things’ Rubio warned as both explain the importance of the objective. Many in my father’s family went to Patterson Cooperative High School, Dayton, Ohio established in 1914 and worked part time in the industry for which they were training.
Later the school was gutted because everyone gotta go to kollege .
Nothing new under the sun.
Teachers confessed secretly ..everyone must now be college prep … was the worst thing than happened in public education. Ruined it for the college prep kids, and destroyed futures for those better suited to learn hands on skills.
This was the early racism tyranny taking hold – it was racist to not push everyone into college. Then Barry Soetoro wanted begging rights he had the most college graduates of any administration.
That is when the corrupt student loans went on steroids, and lowering all college entrance and achievement standards went into the toilet. Just to push Barrys’ own bragging rights. Worst president possible .
There was a time when this country could manufacture a new heavy bomber every hour, and the plane consisted entirely of materials that we mined and made. It was impossible for our opponents to out-produce us, and they could not sink enough of the “Liberty Ships” that we were also pouring out of our shipyards.
While that stunning capacity is no longer in place, it has not been forgotten by everyone. The capability still exists to restore our industrial heritage – a “rust belt” no more. The “belt” was our own foolish decision, and we can un-make it.
“Make America Great Again!” It can’t just be an acronym on a red hat. And, it ought to be a mantra that every country takes for its own: “Make [my_country] Great Again!” That each of them does not trade, and does not negotiate, from a position of weakness. And, whenever possible, never takes “No” for an answer.
It can be done Again. You can get whatever you want, but only if you want it badly enough.
Yes, “in life, you must negotiate.” But, negotiate to win. And from a position of self-sufficiency.
The record for building a Liberty Ship, in all places Portland Oregon. Four days.
How about the 72 hour turnaround for the Pearl Harbor damaged ship?

Screw Clinton/Gore and their NAFTA B.S – Let’s get to work!
I voted for Perot!
How are kids who can’t read, write, or do math, going to “make things”?
They can work in the commisary.
Manual instincts are amazing, if you have ever seen an illiterate craftsman at work. Watched 4th grade educated stone cutters build retaining walls out of blocks of sand stone -they knew exactly what to do, where to cut and how to fit pieces together. Sheer artistry.
There are no kids who “cant read, write or do math.” There are only adults preventing them from achieving those things.
Most *American* kids back in the day (circa 1920/30) didn’t go past 8th grade. Think about it…
Onward and upward!! We need to return manufacturing jobs to the US rather than making it more advantageous for American companies to buy their goods and equipment from overseas countries, many of whom have publicly denounced our country, our Constitution and our citizenry.
Excellent.
I grew up in Fremont CA, Bay Area. We had Pacific States steel, GM, Ford and Dodge plants in San Jose, Peterbilt in Newark, Caterpillar in San Leandro. All gone. Not a single Big 3 auto plant in the Western states, no steel mills. Columbia River Washington had Aluminum production facilities, gone. CA and OR were major producers of timber harvesting and production. Gone!, at least some members of the GOP are attempting to bring it back. A nation can’t survive without an industrial base. It is salt of the earth and provides a common bond.
“We Lost Our Ability to Make Things.”
We used to make things. But then globalization intervened. Business decided to outsource production elsewhere to take advantage of lower labor and regulatory costs.
Every objective has a critical path to success that requires knowing where you are, where you want to end up & how you plan to get there.
How well you map the process & execute the plan determines your success.
Bravo to the TRUMP TEAM for doing the hard work instead of just talking about MAGA.
This is fantastic.
Economic security is National security.
Thank God for this administration, our President, a builder, that understands.
✝️🇺🇸🦅💯💥
This new emphasis on industry and manufacturing by the Trump Administration is a blessing from God.
Millions of young people will be blessed with good paying jobs that don’t require crippling college debt.
The work they do will make our country stronger, more prosperous and more secure.
These young people will get married and have children who will be blessed by being born into this New American Golden Age.
God bless President Trump, and may God bless America through our President’s accomplishments.
