Why are these democrats allowed to vote ‘by proxy’? How about they don’t get paid for not showing up?
For the same reason Obama Care does not affect them. Or insider trading…or…
No!
Pay them NOT to show up!!!
That would stop all kinds of mischief! 🙂 😉
Cornyn and Tillis are against Blanche.
That means Blanche is a good pick.
Cornyn and Tillis…
(I could add a few more.)
Both well balanced individuals…
Chips on both shoulders.
Despite his well known contempt of Trump and Texans, Cornyn truly did not think he’d lose to Paxton and so by endorsing him, Cornyn truly believes himself betrayed by Trump.
Trouble is, Cornyn still has six months in which to wreak his revenge and is advised/encouraged by his deep state friends do his worst, America and Americans be damned.
Not aggressive enough for me but Blanche is confirmable so probably as good as we can hope for.
The DNI hearing lasted a few hours, could it be because the nominee agreed that Biden was elected lawfully?
Why should the AG nomination hearing take days?
I think President Trump has to be looking at his DNI nominee and his very fast acceptance and wonder if he has made a serious political mistake. Bill Barr 2.0 maybe.
Epstein’s victims complaining about being ousted. Don’t they know it was the democrats who demanded it?
Why was Elizabeth Oyer questioned by Grassley?
Was he trying to get something into the record?

Now Hawley is questioning her about Dylan Routh and other death row inmates that she recommended clemency for to the Auto Pen Biden.

Alright.
Apparently, the Dims called Oyer to testify on the behalf of specific, particular victims and against the nomination of Todd Blanche.
Some victims are suggesting the DOJ, and Todd Blanche specifically, are not addressing the needs or feelings or something of victims?
Oyer was raked over the coals and reminded that her credibility was seriously in question partly due to the fact that she recommended clemency on 40something death row inmates to the Auto Pen Administration.
Ugh.
Now, Corey Booger is trying to reinvent her as a credible witness and is failing miserably.
What a side show.

I forced myself to watch the entire 4+ hours yesterday. It was painfully obvious the whole thing is nothing more than a show. They all asked basically the same questions in hoping perhaps to get a different answer which made no sense. Pretending to be angry or assertive while the helper holds up cardboard poster made it even less creditable as they were obviously posturing for a photo. The right spoke as if to hear themselves speaking – very little content. The left was obviously scripted yet unprepared for what they were going to say. Trembling hands, eyebrows disingenuously pasted as high as they go looking like a carpetbagger desperate to sell a scam product. I was sitting here wondering why some of these people were selected to represent anybody. To me, the whole episode was pathetic.
