The House of Representatives formally transmitted the Housing Act bill to President Trump last week. The delivery sets in motion a 10-day period where the bill becomes law without action from the president.
The legislation goes into effect at midnight tonight.
PRESIDENT TRUMP – “I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, which is polling at 97% with the Republican Party, and very high with the non-politician Dumocrats. The Act states, quite simply, that to Vote a person must show PHOTO VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE CROOKED, CORRUPT, & DESTABILIZING MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPTIONS for Military, Disabled, Illness, and Travel!). THE SAVE AMERICA ACT’S non-passage is CRAZY, and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it!
If the Dumocrats, or any RINO (or worse!) working with them, do not allow a positive Vote on SAVE AMERICA, TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, and pass this, and every other Bill that true Republicans have ever dreamt of (In addition to the upcoming Budget BOMB and the 1929 catastrophic style DEBT CEILING BILL!). I don’t know. The veto proof vote is fake and gay, it’s a much riskier vote to override the President than to just vote for it initially. Override Trump and your sticking your neck out. He should veto it this bill is terrible.

I don’t know everything President Trump knows but I would have advised the President to veto the bill with a veto ceremony media event and explain Congress is encouraged to resubmit the bill with the SAVE America Act attached.
This letting it go into effect strikes me as a missed opportunity.

zoning is a restriction on use of land. since the value of raw land is a direct correlation to its potential uses, zoning is a taking of use and therefore value and property without just compensation. zoning laws are not constitutional unless they pay for they stolen value.

In fact, congresscritters have adjourned. No one is there. Who would this bill be returned to, because no one is there to perform their Constitutional duties. They have no quorum. Congresscritters “by their Adjournment” have prevented the return of this bill, “in which case it shall not become law”. Congresscritters are out collecting ‘donations’. They are all such participatory LIARS that not one of them asks for a quorum. Not even the weirdos, or ‘independents’ or ‘mavericks’, or those who are not seeking re-election or were defeated in primaries.
The Founders understood and expected that congresscritters should be back in their States and Districts at times when there would be no forum and no abiity to function. 20 billion annually goes to a program called section 8 and it’s heavily abused.
And many in the building industry are indirectly effected by Section 8 housing. Most apartments built today have federal financing involved. Financing that requires a certain percentage of the apartments be rented to section 8 qualified people. So the building industry is supportive of another anti-middle class government program, just like they are with illegal aliens. Cut back on section 8 housing funding and the apartment tenant pool shrinks indirectly effecting cash flow of apartment landlords/builders. Less section 8 housing renters could effect the terms of the government loan also.
