I think leaving the negotiations as we did was smart. Final offers are just that.

As soon as the cease fire ends Trump will begin attacking again.
During the next 9 days the pressure will build in Tehran. That is a lot of time for a lot of people in Iran to rethink things.
The doubt has got to be creeping into a lot of the IRGC right now. What’s gonna happen? When is the next salvo coming in?

Iran cannot win this fight with the USA. They can do some temporary economic damage that probably will hurt Trump and the Republican Party for a time. The regime will be pounded further and economically strangled until it eventually must fall. When a secular regime replaces them they will surrender their enriched uranium to the USA or a reliable international organization for its destruction. Then Iran can be reintegrated into the world community. Peace will break out in the Middle East. The Saudis and Gulf states will sign peace and trade agreements with Israel. Then Israel will support a home state for the Palestinians without fear that since Iran wont be there to fund new terror proxies. Trump may pay a big domestic political price but he will bring about the end of the problems in the Middle East that have hung over the USA and the West for the last 70 years.
